Chapter 90 Change Up

Sky's POV

I was rehearsing with Gary...but it was not going well. [Follow Your Heart Extra: Oh no.]

"Sky", he yelled. "You're not doing it right!"

"I am doing it right", I yelled. "You're the one who's being a brat!"

"I am not", Gary yelled.

"You know what", I asked. "I'm done!"

With that I stormed out of the room. [Follow Your Heart Extra: Double oh no.]

The Next Day

May's POV

I walked into the a academy with one of Ash's caps on my head.

"Hey May", Dawn greeted. "What's with the hat?"

"I'm hiding from Ash", I revealed. "He came to talk to me at my house yesterday, and it did not go to well."

Before Dawn could ask me what I meant...I saw Ash and quickly hid behind her.

Sky then walked up to Ash.

"Hey", she said before hugging him. "How are you?"

"I'm...hanging in there."

I frowned at this.

Was Ash feeling that way...because of me? [Follow Your Heart Extra: Yes.]

"Don't worry", Sky reassured. "It'll be okay."

With that Sky and Ash left and I stepped back from Dawn.

"Are you okay", she asked.

"No."

Five Minutes Later

I walked into the coordinator's classroom and saw Ella, Sophie and Will.

"You guys are in here a lot", I pointed out. "I came to turn in my dropping out papers."

"Come here May", Will asked and I did as told. "When do you leave for Petalberg?"

"After the midterm show", I revealed.

"Meaning you'll be here for the show", Will asked.

"Just about", I replied.

"Then", Will started. "Would you consider taking the lead role again?" [Follow Your Heart Extra: (does spit take) What?!]

This made me look at Will in shock.

"What", I breathed out. "But what about Sky?"

"She stormed out of rehearsal yesterday", Will revealed. "While Gary was being very unreasonable, it's not right to just storm out either."

"So", Sophie started. "What do you say?"

Five Minutes Later

Ash's POV

Everybody was in the coordinator's classroom for rehearsal.

I ran up to Dawn.

"Dawn", I started. "What was May doing here?" And why was she hiding?"

"I actually don't know why she was here", Dawn revealed. "And she was hiding because she said you came to see her yesterday and that it did not end well."

"It didn't", I agreed. "I asked her about our future. She said we don't have one anymore."

Before anything else could happen...Will, Sophie and Andy walked into the room.

"Listen up everybody", Will commanded. "We have news. Sky, the way you acted yesterday was unacceptable."

"Gary was the one..."

"Yes", Will said interrupting. "Gary was acting unreasonable, but you can not just storm out of rehearsal! That is why...you will no longer be playing the lead."

"What", Sky asked in shock. "Then who's playing the lead?"

And then...Will said something that shocked me.

"May."

Everybody gasped as May walked into the room.

"May", Gary yelled happily before running up and hugging May. "You're back!"

"What", Sky asked angrily. "But May's moving!"

"Yes", Will said. "But only after the show is done."

One Hour Later

Apparently somebody doesn't like Gary being the lead.

Somebody pulled a prank on him. He got covered in green paint!

Will then walked into the room.

"Okay", he said. "Whoever pulled that prank on Gary, let be known that you will get in big trouble! Now then. We need to continue rehearsal. So Ash, please get on stage with May."

"Me", I asked in shock.

"You are the understudy", Will reminded me.

"Oh", I said. "Right."

With that I walked onto the stage with May.

"Now", Will started. "This is the scene where the trainer and the mannequin confess their love for each other."

I gulped upon hearing this.

This should be interesting.

"Also", Will started. "Pretend there is a glass window in between you two."

With that May and I got into place.

"And...action!"

"Ai", I started. "Why can't you come out and be here with me?"

"You know I want to Hai", May said. "But I'm a mannequin. I belong in a store window."

"You are more than just a mannequin", I said. "You're alive Ai."

"How do you know that", May asked.

"Ai", Ash started. "Do you know what Love is?"

"What is love", May asked.

"When you love someone, all you want is to be with them. You want protect them. Make sure no harm comes to them. When they are sad, you are sad. When they are happy, you are happy. You'll do anything for them. And that what love is. Do you feel that way about someone?"

"I do", May said. "That's how I feel about you Hai."

"And that's how I feel about you Ai."

"And...cut", Will said causing me to snap out of it. "Brilliant work you two!"

With that I looked at May.

If only she knew I wasn't acting.

One Hour Later

Cora's POV

I was in the hallway with Sky.

"So tell me", she started. "Were you the one who covered Gary in paint?"

I looked around to make sure no one was listening.

"Yep. It was me." [Follow Your Heart Extra: (does spit take) What?!]

"What", Sky asked in shock. "Why would you do that?"

"He cost you your part in the play", I stated. "Nobody does that to my sister!"

"Thanks", Sky said. "Just make sure you don't get caught."

"I won't", I stated.

With that Sky left...and Oliver walked up to me.

"So", he started. "It was you who pulled that prank on Gary."

With that I looked at Oliver with dread.

"Oliver", I started. "I..."

"Come with me."

Five Minutes Later

Oliver and I were in the teacher's lounge.

"Please don't tell Sophie or Will", I pleaded.

"I won't. Under one condition."

"What", I asked.

"I need you to be my ears. If anybody does something that could effect the academy, you tell me. Am I making myself clear?"

"Crystal."

HotXbun: Oh no. This is not good.

Challenge: Tell me what you think is going to happen now.

My Answer: Not telling!
