Rose:
It was only when Victorie squealed that I remembered where I was. I broke off the kiss quickly but tried not to make it seem as if I didn't want to kiss him. Scorpius still had his arms around me wich I removed quickly before I saw that everyone was starring at us. That's when I ran.
"Rose!" I heard him call out. I didn't stop I just kept running, bounding up the stairs. It's not that I wished it hadn't happened or I wish that I didn't kiss him, no, it was that I wish no one had seen that I kissed him. Because there would be the traditional Weasley teasing and Potter mocking, and the fact that my parents had seen me lock lips with a Malfoy almost made me want to throw up. I sat in the attic on a bean bag, waiting for my parents to yell at me, waiting for the torture to begin. Waiting for the Weasley gang to criticise me.
But none of it came.
I checked my watch. 12:05. Had it really been all in five minutes? It felt like hours that I had kissed him. His lips were so warm and soft-
That's when I heard the trapdoor creak open.
The moment I saw short white-blonde hair I only hopped for the worst. One hundred percent he was surely going to ask me if I hated him or if I didn't like him. I heard the ladder creak and blue eyes joined the pale skin and white-blonde hair. Soon he had climbed up completely and we were standing all of 2.5 metres apart.
Then he moved.
Rose watched as Scorpius strode over as sat beside her in the bean bag. "It's quite cold don't you think?" He said softly. Rose smiled, "Yeah." She shuffled over and let him wrap his arms around her. "You know I'm in love with you, right?"
"Yes Scorp." She smiled. The two broke into a laugh, "Just clarifying it." He muttered. "I love you too." She smiled.
"I'm scared." She mumbled as she rested her forehead on the crook of his neck and shoulder.
"Why?" He asked. Rose sighed, "I don't want to go all public with our relationship just yet."
Scorpius nodded, "I'm not going to ask why but honestly I wouldn't expect you to want to straight away anyway." He weighed the options, "Should we go back downstairs and let the Weasley interrogation begin or should we stay up here for the rest of the night?"
The trapdoor creaked open and Rose saw Victories face, "Guess it's decided then."
Victories climbed up, "Its just us girls- Scorpius could you go? We just wanna talk to Rose about the trip to Diagonal Alley."
Scorpius nodded as he kissed Rose softly on the cheek before standing up and climbing down. Rose glared at the three girls. "Had to ruin my cuddling session didn't you?" She snapped crossing her arms. As soon as Victorie sat on her bed they exploded with questions.
"Please tell me you guys are dating?"
"Did you actually kiss him back?"
"Did you see the look on Ron's face?"
Rose frowned, "Uh Victorie- Yes. We're dating. Lily? Of course I kissed him back- Molly, no I didn't." Rose propped herself up more on the bean bag, "What did he look like?"
"More like he was proud of you, it was weird." Molly said. "What about my mother?"
"Hermione didn't look fussed." Victorie answered. "I'm just gonna let you know I ship way too hard!" Victorie squealed.
"Oh my god." Rose rolled her eyes as she got up. Victorie grabbed Rose's arm, "Dont leave! We have more questions!"
"Save it till the morning." Rose yawned, "I'm going to get another kiss before Grandma Molly separates us."
The girls squealed again.
Rose was halfway through climbing the ladder when Victorie called her name, "Rose?"
"Yes?" She answered.
"Molly and Teddy were betting on you guys, by the way." Victorie smiled. "That's what the bet was?" Rose scoffed, "Teddy is so dead!" Rose laughed. "What about Molly?" Lily asked. Rose shook her head, "I'll get Molly in her sleep." She joked.
Rose bounded down stairs and spotted Teddy on the couch talking to James. He's so dead.
She walked down and sat beside Teddy looking him in the eyes. "Umm hi?"
Rose smiled, "Hello." Then she grabbed the pillow beside her and bashed him in the face. "Rose! Ow!" She climbed on top of him and kept hitting him, "You idiot!"
She picked up his wand and pointed it at him. Scorpious and James ran over and pulled her away, "Rose What are you-"
"Some big brother, huh?" Rose yelled, "Betting on my own love life!" She snapped while trying to get out of Scorpius's arms. "Molly did it too." Teddy said alarmed as he stood up and walked behind the couch, "Yeah and she's next!" Rose cried, desperately trying to get at Teddy.
"Who was betting?" Scorpius asked. "Teddy and Molly were betting on wether we were gonna get together or not."
"How much?" Rose cried hastily. "How much money did you-"
"50 Pounds." Teddy said quietly. Scorpius let go of Rose, "What?"
Rose climbed over the couch and ran after Teddy.
"Don't be mad at Teddy.." Albus said. "Why? He was only betting on behalf of my life decisions. That prat." Rose snapped as she sat down on the couch, having given up on her chase. "Because me and Ella might've-" he stopped at the burning look on her face, "Finish the sentence." She snapped looking him in the eyes, "I dare you."
Rose threw the blanket off of her and sat up in her bed. She turned her besidetable lamp on. All five other girls were fast asleep. How? Rose asked herself as she got up and almost jumped back onto her bed. The floor could've been ice, it wouldn't have been any colder than it was. Rose looked around her bed for a pair of socks but none of the such showed up.
"Oh great." She whispered as she headed over to the window, wincing when the floor boards creaked. She turned to Victorie who was fast asleep then she continued. She pushed down on the window edge but it wouldn't move. "Come on!" She snapped, trying to push it down.
Nope. That thing is rusted for sure. She sighed as she looked out the open window and saw the snow falling delicately.
The cold breeze was wondering in making Rose's mouth and lungs icy. Her mouth was suddenly all cold and she frowned, she moved her touge around trying to warm it up but it was as if her whole body had become frozen inside. Her skin felt like ice now and she knew that she definitely couldn't sleep in the cold like this.
Then she remembered. She had a boyfriend for times like this. Rose walked over to the mirror and fixed her hair up, by brushing it quickly. She looked down at her t-shirt and fluffy pajama pants.
"Oh come on Rose it's nighttime- what could it matter what your wearing?" She spoke to herself as she headed towards the ladder. Cursing the many times it squeaked before she was on the second floor.
She looked down the hallway and saw a door labeled, 'Albus and Scorpius'. She frowned as she considered this action, would she wake him up? Would he be mad if she accidentally did?
No, he wouldn't be mad at you. Would he? Rose pushed her thoughts as ice as she tip-toed along the floor and pushed open the door slowly. Once she was inside she shut it again and smiled as she saw her boyfriend laying in his bed, his fluffy short blonde hair messy and in his arms was..her sweater. She tried not to giggle. Did he really sleep with that thing every night?
She muffled her laughing with her hand- remembering her lips were ice cold- before she walked over and stood beside his bed. Careful Rose.
She pulled his blanket aside softly and slowly before she took the sweater from him, and replaced it with herself as she pulled the blanket back on. Then slowly and carefully she moved closer to him, on her side, and leaned against his chest.
Almost instantly he said, "Miss me that much did you?" An amused smile was now on his face. Rose shook her head as she leaned into his chest as his arms wrapped around her back. "No, it's just that up the ladder seems like -5 degrees and the window won't shut." She snuggled up against him and rested her mouth on the corner between his neck and his shoulders.
"What am I like you personal heater or something?" He asked softly. She nodded. "Where's my payment?" He asked. Rose smiled as she shuffled up into his pillow so that they were face to face. And then she kissed him quickly. "Jesus your lips are like ice." He frowned. Rose nodded, "I know."
"Here let me warm them up." He smirked before pulling her closer to him and kissing her softly. Rose wrapped her arm around his neck as she kissed him back, glad that she was warming up now. His hand found its way to her cheek and again he said, "Literally your freezing."
Rose nodded again as she leaned into his chest. "I know."
He let go of her for a moment as he leaned over the bed and picked up one of his jumpers. "Here, put this on."
She slid the jumper on and look down at it, "It's a bit big." She mumbled.
"It looks cute on you."
And she looked up at him and he could tell she was blushing even in the dark. "Don't give me that look, god." She laughed as she cuddled him again. "Your worried about looks? I'm just imagining what Victories face will be like when she walks in to wake us in the morning and your in my arms."
"Might have to get up early then." Rose suggested. He shook his head, "No way, your too soft and cuddly."
"God Scorp- in with the compliments already?" She asked sarcastically. "Yes, And now your stuck with me and my commentary." He answered.
Rose smiled, but then checked her watch. "God it's 3am." She whispered. Scorpius smiled, "So?"
"Scorp we have to sleep." She mumbled. "Alright Rose petal."
"Rose petal?-"
"Shhh!" He hushed, "Sleep." He reminded her. Rose kissed him once more. "Fine."
And then she moved more comfortably in his arms and closed her eyes while he played with her curls.
"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Rose and Scorpius jumped up alarmed and saw Victoire, Lily and Roxanne Squealing in the doorway. "Shut up." Rose mumbled as she fell back into the bed and pulled Scorpius down beside her.
"We should plan the wedding!" Victories whispered. A pillow hit her face half a second later, "I heard that!" Rose cried.
"I can't believe we're going back to Hogwarts already!" Albus exclaimed, "It's like four weeks dissapeared into thin air." He said as they walked down the middle of the train looking for a spare compartment.
Scorpious looked at Rose walking infront of them, her nose deep in the book he had gotten her for Christmas. Once they found a compartment Rose plopped down beside Scorpius with the boom still open in her lap. She removed her hands from the pages for about ten seconds to untie her short hair- wich was barely being held up- and she ruffled it up with her hands quickly before she crossed her legs and held the book in her lap.
"I'd take it you like the book I got you." He teased. Rose pointed to her sweater that he was wearing, "I'd take it you love that sweater I made you."
Rose went back to silence as she continued reading her book, Scorpius sighed, "If you gonna pay no attention to me what so ever-" He glared at Albus and Ella who were snogging, "Then can you at least sit in my lap so I can play with you hair?" He asked.
Rose nodded as she shut her book for a moment as she sat in his lap, her back leaning against the compartment wall, and her leg over his, his arm went forward across her lap and around her side. Rose leaned her head against his chest, his other hand was already dug into her curls, twirling the ringlets in his hands. He starred at her face for a moment, watching her expressions change as each word made her emotions swell. One moment she looked sad, other angry, other relived.
He watched her freckles moved each time she bit down on her younger or winced as a character got hurt. He saw her glance at him with her soft brown eyes before continuing to read. "Hope I'm not distracting you." He said in a soft voice.
"No." Rose muttered. She had glanced at him again though. Eventually she smiled, brushing her bangs out of her face, slamming her book shut. "Okay, your not convincing me to give you attention, alright?"
Scorpius made puppy dog eyes, "It's your own fault for buying me this book." She said stubbornly as she opene it back up and continued reading. He managed to get one of her hands away from the book and intertwined his fingers with hers, stroking her thumb with his softly. He nuzzled his face against her cheek. "You smell nice today." He mumbled.
Rose rolled her eyes. "And you look beautiful as always."
"No need to flatter me Scorp." She said softly.
He kissed her cheek softly. "I know."
She shifted a little. Aha.
He gave her cheek another slow soft kiss. "Scorpius I'm trying to read." She reminded him, "I know." He repeated.
This time he left a soft kiss on her jaw and her shoulder went up and brushed against her cheek, nudging his lips away. He tucked some of her hair behind her ear before giving her jaw a soft kiss, his lips lingering on her jaw afterwards. Rose shifted more this time and she glanced at him while doing so.
He leaned in for another kiss but Rose moved away and turned to him, "You know we have the rest of our lives for you to kiss me?" Rose stated.
Scorpius nodded, "I know."
Rose rolled her eyes before she put the book down and moved to face him, resting her head against his collarbone. He wrapped his arms around her back. "Thank you." He mumbled. "Shut up." She snapped with a smile.
"So how are we going to do this secret relationship thing?" He asked. Rose frowned, "Well for starters we probably shouldn't even be doing this right now because if anyone walks past-"
The compartment door shifted and Rose looked outside to see Lucy and Lily scrambling to get away once they met eyes. "Like that, then we're toast."
"So how are we going to see each other?" He asked, stroking her cheek with his thumb. "It's simple- after Qudditch matches we meet behind the stands- in free period we go down by the lake- no ones gonna follow us."
Scorpius thought about it, "What about my fan club?" He asked. Rose frowned, "Oh- that might be a problem."
"I'll think of something." Scorpius suggested.
Rose shook her head, "No I have an-" she shut her mouth quickly. Your not supposed to say that.
"You have an idea?" He asked, "What do you think?"
"I think that maybe we could find another handsome boy for them to fall in love with?" Rose suggested out of the blue. "Impossible- im the most charming, no one can find a more handsome boy-"
"Don't flatter yourself." She quipped.
"I have an idea but I can't talk about it till later." She said. Scorpius frowned, "What do you mean untill later?" He asked confused. Rose shook her head, "It doesn't matter." She shifted in his lap and pulled his hand into her lap where she fidgeted with his fingers and he said the one thing she had been dreading. "I wonder who the heads are." He said looking down at her.
Rose shook her head, "No they changed the rules this year- I didn't get a badge over the holidays so I'm not getting the spot."
That moment the compartment door opened and everyone got up to get things from the trolley.
Rose reached over to get a liquorice wand and looked up to see a compartment full of girls glaring at her. She frowned and then realised they were glaring at her hand. "Wha.." she looked down and saw Scorpius's fingers lightly grazing hers. She rolled her eyes as the fan club before sitting back down in the compartment.
The glares following her as she shut the door and pulled the shades down.
Scorpius sat down next to her, she looked somewhat bothered as he took her hand, "Are you o-"
"Your fan club is attacking me already." Rose snapped. "What when did we-"
"We didn't. You hand touched mine by accident." She rolled her eyes, "God, If looks could kill."
He maintained a short laugh. She smiled, "I better get used to that look."
"You shouldn't have to." He said, "I'll just tell them I'll un-fan them and they'll start crying." Rose chuckled.
Minutes later Scorpius had fallen asleep, his head in Rose's lap, on top of her book after she tried reading again. Rose rolled her eyes again. "He's a real attention hog isn't he?" Ella asked, Albus having fallen asleep too. Rose smiled, "I know, right?"
"How are you guys gonna hide from his fan club?"
Rose looked up at the brunette girl, "I honestly have no idea whatsoever."
"I'd be careful, they get really peckish when a girl gets close to their guy." Ella warned, Rose frowned, "Peckish how?" Ella thought, "Well they don't exactly speak facts- for example one of them might say your ugly- but that doesn't mean it's true- their just messing with you."
"Were you one of them?" Rose asked, highly amused. Ella rolled her eyes, "Not for Scorp but-"
"Then she met me." Albus cut her off and rested his head on her shoulder.
Rose looked down at Scorpius in her lap she linked fingers with one of his hands, while the other ran her fingers through his hair.
"I know a way we could get my fan club to stop?" He said half awake. Rose looked down at him, "Yeah? What's that?"
"I could grow my hair the same length as yours," he said pointing to his short hair. Ella made a vomit face, "Eww no!" Rose laughed. "If you do that I don't think it'll just be the fan club you'll lose." He joked, gesturing to Rose and himself.
"R.i.p my grades." Scorpius mumbled. "Why?" Rose asked. "We're in all of the same classes."
"Right, And?" She said, clearly not getting the hint. "I can't do my work if I'm too busy starring at you-"
"What do you think about my grades?" Rose snapped. "Mine will definitely plummet way faster than yours-"
"No your missing the concept, your the prettier-"
"Don't even go there- you a Qudditch player-"
"I won't be able to-"
"No I won't be able to-"
They were both cut off over Ella and Albus's laughing. Scorpious rolled over in Rose's lap so his head faced them, "What's so funny?"
"You two-" Ella was struggling over her laughing, "Your fighting over..." She was gasping for air, "Whos more attractive!"
"Because they are!" They both said at the same time pointing to each other. "Your both misfits my god!" Albus cried.
"Fine." Scorpius mumbled, "If you want me to act like a Malfoy- you asked for it-" There was silence for a moment, "Im more pretty than you are." He said. The whole compartment exploded with laughter. "Oh shut up." Scorpious snapped as he sat up and kissed Rose to silence her.
The train had slowed after the seven and a half-hour ride. "Think you can go about an hour without touching me?" Rose asked him.
"No." He said almost immediately. Rose sighed, "Your gonna have to- we can still sit together-"
"No that'll make it harder." Scorpius said, "Sit on the other side of the hall, preferably so I can't see you."
Rosemet up with Lily And Dominique when she entered the great hall so she sat with them across the hall next to Alice. "He's hot." Alice said dreamily.
"Who?" Rose asked. "Scorpius Malfoy." She replied as if in a daze. Rose felt a slight tingle of annoyance. She should've expected this. "Yeah- very cute." Rose muttered in a slightly angry tone.
Dumbledore began talking but Rose's attention was cats away as she looked across the girls at each table. She frowned, there were so many starring at Scorpius- yet she was the only one he wanted, out of all the pretty blondes and British girls- quidditch players and fashion models- he wanted her.
She shifted uncomfortably at the fact that over 50 girls were starring at her boyfriend like he was the only food they'd seen in days.
Then she looked at her boyfriend and he was looking at her. Only her.
Scorpius:
I'd seen her look around the hall at all the other girls starring at me. I saw her smile falter at the thought in her eyes. Obviously she was questioning the amount of girls and maybe her worth to me. Wich is exactly why I starred at her, and her only to show her that she was the one and there was nothing to worry about. And she smiled at me.
"Are you starring at Weasley?" It was an older boy in seventh year, Avery, one of James's friends. "No." I lied.
"Just saying Because you know Remedy wouldn't approve of that."
"Remedy?" I asked, "What's Remedy to care for?"
"He has an eye for Rose."
This caught my attention gravely, "What do you mean by that?" I asked instinctively. "He likes Rose." Avery replied, "A lot of people do- I mean can you blame them- look at her." I frowned as I glanced at Rose, "Your gay, Avery?"
"I know that Scorp- I'm just warning you in case Remedy-"
"I don't like Rose, I'll be fine." I lied as I turned towards the front of the hall, Albus beside him giving him an anxious look.
"Now that the sorting ceremony is over I would like you all to pay attention to the front please." McGonagal smiled. "Welcome back everyone and welcome to your new school first years, I would also like to acknowledge beside the sorting of first years, the announcement of head boy and head girl."
This sparked great conversation around the sixth years in the room. "Seventh year heads will be retiring and handing over their badges to the new sixth years. Dominique, Seth, please come to the front of the hall."
The two heads walked up beside the Proffesor standing by the lecturn.
"Our heads did get their badges over the school holidays but were asked to keep a secret to those who attend Hogwarts."
"Our head girl, Rose Weasley, And our head boy, Avery Finnigan."
Scorpious shook his head with a smile while he clapped with the others, Rose laughed when she saw his face, "I knew she got head girl." He told Albus.
The badges were pinned onto Rose's and Avery's uniforms. "And that concludes tonight's dinners- to bed everyone, and for the first years, please follow your house heads to you dorms, head boy and head girl- meet me by the prefect bathroom entrance. Goodnight all and I hope you have a good time this year at Hogwarts."
Scorpius stood up as he watched Remedy approach Rose on the other side of the hall. "Your not worried about what Avery said?" Albus questioned. "No, Rose wouldn't cheat nor leave me for him." He said softly, "I trust her enough, besides I would only be angry if he made a move on her."
Rose frowned, "You know being head girl is a big achievement." Remedy said, running his hands through his black spikes hair. Rose nodded, "I know."
"You must've worked hard to get that spot?" He employed. She nodded, "Sort of."
She sighed, it had been more than five minutes and his strange small talk was annoying her, "Get to your point Remedy? What do you want?" She said crossing her arms stubbornly.
He looked as if he was going to puke, "Er..Nothing." He spotted Scorpius and rolled his eyes, "I'll see you around then?"
Rose nodded, "Uh, Sure?" He nodded and walked away. Scorpius didn't even bother addressing what had just happened "let's go for a walk." Rose agreed and they left the great hall.
Once out of earshot of everyone Scorpius smiled, "I knew you had gotten head girl."
"I knew you were suspicious- but that's my idea, hopefully if Avery won't tell, then you'll be aloud in."
"Anyways, I will see you guys tommorow." Rose ended the conversation as she quickly kissed Scorpius and walked away.
"Did you get your results from last term's Quidditch tryouts?" Rose asked as she sat down at the breakfast table beside Scorpius, shoving a pice of bread into her mouth. Scorpius nodded, "Yeah we got in."
"Guess who the captain is?" Rose asked. Scorpius shrugged, "I don't know I didn't check."
"It you!" She cried, "You got chaser and captain!"
"Sucks for my team doesn't it." Scorpius chuckled softly, "What do you mean?" Rose asked. "It means that I'll probably die before the end of term because I'll get hit in the bloody face by a bludger from starring at you."
Rose rolled her eyes. "No you won't." She assured him.
Albus sat down on his other side, "Do you guys wanna go down to the lake in free period?" He asked. "We have free period!" Rose exclaimed. "Yes, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday."
"Oh I love Sixth year." Rose said dramatically. "That's not the only thing you love." Lily smiled as she sat down beside Rose, who shoved her in the side. "Ow!" Lily whined, "What did I do?"
Roxana joined Lily's side, "Ready for the quidditch game on Friday?"
"I still think I should've been cast as a chaser, not a keeper." Rose complained, "I'm better at fast flying then knocking and striking."
Albus sat down beside Scorpius, he looked upset over something and his hair was more messy than usual. "Al? Are you gonna watch our game.." Rose trailed off, "What's wrong, you look sad?"
"Ella broke up with me." Albus mumbled. "What! Why?"
"I don't know, her excuse was that she was getting bored." He sighed, "Girls are complicated aren't they?" He turned to Scorpius. "You bet." Rose shoved him in the arm, "Hey, I was kidding!"
Fred had sat next to Albus, "I heard my friend. Ella wasn't worth it anyways- I know something that'll cheer you up?" Fred smirked, "We've tried pink, weve tried green.." He pointed his wand at Louis.
"Fred, no!" Lily cried, but a spark had already flown over and Louis's silver hair turned bright orange, causing the Ravenclaws around him to start laughing. "Not again!" Louis cried.
Rose couldn't help but laugh.
"Okay- Al, we are taking you down to Hogsmead for lunch, then afterwards we'll go to the lake-"
"No Scorp, you and Rose go do that." He replied glumly, "I don't want to be the third wheel." He laughed, "I'll go to the library with Roxanne And Dominique."
Scorpius frwoned, "Are you sure?" He nodded, "Yeah I'm sure- if you guys are going down to Hogsmead, if you see Emy can you tell her that I'll be doing our Astronomy assignment?" Scorpius nodded, "Er, Sure."
Rose steadied herself on her broom, "It's okay- you've got this, your gonna be fine." She balanced infront of the hoops, "It's the first week and it doesn't matter how bad this game is, you can make up for it." She settled herself by looking down at the ground and then at the stands we're Lily, Roxanne, and Fred sat.
She then looked forward at the opposing team which were spacing themselves out on the opposite side of the pitch. She saw Dominique and James, Molly and Lysander.
And then Scorpius. His blue eyes met hers even across the massive pitch.
The sky rumbled and Rose glared at the gloomy dark grey clouds. "Great, rain and distractions."
She met eyes with Scorpius again and he winked at her. Her hand slipped off of the broom. Curse him and his bloody perfectness.
After she had suffered starring at him in class she at least would've thought Qudditch would've been easier.
Scorpius didn't even have to be able to read minds to know what Rose was thinking. Her face said it all. He laughed after he winked at her. She had looked away and turned red. He caught Remedy glancing between Scorpius and Rose. Don't flirt with her you idiot.
Rose looked across the full Qudditch stands and felt like puking, with every cheer her stomach swirled. And it was all because of him.
Then the speakers boomed.
"HELLO EVERYONE! AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST QUIDDITCH MATCH OF THE YEAR AND THE TERM, GRIFFINDORE AGAINST SLYTHERIN!"
"We're so screwed," she saw Scorpius mouth to her. She tried not to laugh, half holding back a smile.
"READY, SET, GO!"
Brooms sped in all sorts of directions and Rose stayed in her spot by the hoop, watching the various passes of the quaffed. Then they all began flying towards the Slytherin hoops. Scorpius would throw the quaffle across the pitch, then a Griffindore would intervene and then throw it back. This happened several times before James took the quaffle and threw into the hoop. Scoring one for Griffindore.
"Their gonna want to score now- good luck Rose!" Lysander cried. Rose nodded as her Qudditch robes flew against her legs as she steadied herself.
Scorpius took a hold of the quaffle and raced towards Rose, much to her horror, before passing it to Dominique who threw it at the lower hoop to the right. Rose sped after it and just stopped it with her foot. She sighed in relife.
"Close call Rose!" Lysander yelled out. "Sorry!" Rose yelled.
She shot a sarcastic girl glare at Scorpius. "This is your fault." Her eyes clearly said. He smiled at her charmingly and she groaned and looked away. He laughed.
He was trying to ignore her especially now, racing towards her and scoring, winking at her so she would loose concentration. Starring at her so she would stare back. In the second half Slytherin had 450 to 150.
"Not again!" Rose scoffed.
Scorpius was laughing now, a little too much. Rose looked behind him and saw one of the Griffindore players eyeing the blonde and the bludger flying over. It all happened in a matter of seconds, "Scorp! Look out!" She cried. The bludger hit the bat and flew towards him, Rose sped forward away from the hoops and pushed him out of the way, making the bludger just brush her head and fly past hitting someone else.
Slytherin scored twice then because she had left the hoops. "Rose!" Lysander yelled. "I'm sorry!" Rose snapped as she flew back to hoops. Scorpious frowned, "it's not my fault you risked it." He mouthed at her. Rose rolled her eyes as she blocked the next shot. Bloody ungrateful git- I just saved him!
"Al!" Scorpius exclaimed. Albus looked down at his blonde haired friend leaning against the structure of the back of the Quidditch pitch, Rose sitting in his lap, a book in her hands, she clearly looked angry.
"You guys should check to make sure no one else is behind here before you go doing that stuff." He said gesturing to Scorpius cuddling Rose in his lap. Scorpious rolled his eyes, "The team is long gone- speaking of wich- You missed the best game ever! We won by 500 points over!"
Rose made some sort of an angry mumble. "What's wrong with her." Albus asked. Scorpious smiled at the girl in his lap as he twirled her curls around his finger, "She's annoyed that they lost."
"Not really." Rose snapped, "I'm annoyed that I save you from the bloody bludger and you sat there laughing afterwards because I was loosing because I saved you! You didn't even thank me! You were right on Monday- you are going to die before end of term from starring at me!"
Albus looked at Scorpius with a 'She's right' look. Scorpius sighed as he smiled at her, "Im sorry." He kissed her cheek, "Thank you."
"I don't care anyways it was only the first match- we'll get them in the next." Rose smiled.
Rose stood up quickly out of Scorpius's lap, her book had cluttered to the ground. Before they could even ask She pointe dto the castle where students were emerging. "It's lunch, someone will see me with you- Al, our offer still stands if you want to come to Hogsmead?" She asked softly.
"No, I really should get this assignment done, anyway I don't want to risk running into Ella." He said as he stood up. Rose sighed, "I'm really sorry about her- I'm not sure you guys werent right for each other anyway." She gave her cousin a quick hug. "I'm off then." He waved to Scorpius before he walked off, his robes flying away behind him.
Rose smiled as she took Scorpius's hand, "How are you always so warm?" She asked as she half leaned on him as they walked down the side of the lake, the sun was out now but it was still freezing from the winter breeze. "It's because your shorter and smaller- you get colder quicker, whereas I-"
"Why do you keep going on about the shortness- it's not like that god- I'm three inches shorter than you, three!" She cried. "Why? Why is this so funny to you?" She asked.
"Because for every step I take you take two." He laughed. Rose looked down at their feet and groaned. He was right, with every step he took she sped up to two.
"Okay? So what? What does that change anything?" She asked.
"Well your colder than me, so how's the weather down there?" He asked. Rose hit him in the ribs, "How's the weather up there?" She asked. Scorpius smiled, "You wouldn't know would you?"
Rose laughed, "I can't win with you can I?"
"Nope. Never."
She pulled out her wand and gave him a quick stinging charm in the back and ran off as he yelled. "Hey!" He called out as he chased after her. Rose watched as he tripped over, making her fall over in laughter.

Please leave a review on any of the stories you might of favourited if you want more. There's certain stories people like but I'm not sure if they want more because there's no reviews.
