Chapter One
"Hermione is getting on my nerves; we should just kick her out" I hear Ginny say through a closed door at Number 12.
"Come on Gin, she's not as bad as you're making her seem" Harry replies to her making my heart swell.
"Oh, come on Harry, other than homework what is she really good for?" Ron's voice makes its way through the door.
How could they?
"I mean, she helps us a lot you guys. She's the literal brain of our friendship." Harry tells them and once again my heart swells with love and affection for my dear friend standing up for me,
"HARRY" Ginny sheriked outraged.
"Do you mean to tell me you would rather have her" she sneered the word.
"In the Golden trio, rather than me? You're Girlfriend?" She sounded outraged beyond belief,
"Alright, I mean I guess you're right. Who's telling her?" I hear Harry respond and my mind starts to seethe with rage.
How could they do this to me? I thought they were my friends.
I thought Ginny was like a sister to me.
We were so close.
And Harry as well, we were the closest.
"I'll tell her!" I hear Ginny exclaim with delight.
I open the door and walk into the room.
Harry's face drops, and he looks a little guilty.
At that point, I snap!
"So, I hear you want me out of the trio?" I tell them, looking at Harry's face I feel a tinge of sadness.
I always thought of him like a brother.
"You heard correctly; you have nothing to offer us" Ron told me bluntly.
I see Harry wanting to say something, but a look from Ginny quiets him as she begins to speak.
"You were never worthy of these boys Hermione" Again with the sneer.
"Ron is a pureblood, so therefore he's you're superior and Harry is at least a half-blood. Still better then you. You're just a filthy little mudblood who never knows when she's not wanted" Ginny finished.
Ron looked smug.
Harry looked ready to kill.
He held his tongue, however.
At seeing Hary's reaction all the fight just goes out of me.
I run down the stairs of Number 12.
Hearing Ginny's victorious laugh echo through the halls.
I exit and then apparate to the Leaky Cauldron.
"Hermione, it's great to see ya again" Tom the barkeeper told me joyfully.
"It's great to see you as well Tom. Might I use your fireplace please?" I ask him in my sweetest voice.
"Sure, you know where it is?" He asks. I wonder how is it that he always has a smile on his face.
"I do, thanks again Tom" I tell him, and he smiles in return.
I rush to the fireplace and Floo to Malfoy to Manor to see my long-time boyfriend Draco.
When I arrive via Floo I see Lucius Malfoy come to greet me.
"Ah, Hermione. What pleasure do we have in receiving you?" He asks helping me out of the fireplace as Narcisa walks in with Draco as we speak.
He runs to me and I fling myself into his embrace.
"Amore Mio, I've missed you so much. What are you doing here though? I thought you spend your summers with Weaslebee and Potter?" He enquires while I'm still in his arms.
He was just as unwilling as I was to let go.
I tell him everything that happened and as I finish, each Malfoy has a disgusted look on their face.
"HOW. DARE. HE?" Draco was seething with rage and looked ready to kill.
Draco had told me he still to this day regrets when he called me a mudblood in second year.
"It's okay" I try to soothe him.
It partially works.
"This just means I get to spend more time with you Dragon" I tell him stroking his hair.
His eyes light up at that fact of us spending more time together, alone until school starts.
"I think that sounds wonderful Hermione. Draco can show you to the guest room. If you need anything don't be afraid to ask" Narcissa told me in a very motherly voice.
She was very sweet to me. As was Lucius.
"I will Cissa, thank you for letting me stay here" I tell her sincerely.
She just beamed at me with a huge smile gracing her beautiful features.
"Dinner is at 7, but until then you kids enjoy yourselves" Lucius told us also beaming in my direction.
Then Cissa took is arm and the swept gracefully out of the living room
It confused me at first, why they were so polite and loving to someone they are supposed to hate.
It's like they know something that I don't.
Even before Draco and I started dating Daco, they were never truly mean to me.
I push those thoughts from my mind as Draco takes my hand to show me around the Manor which is huge to say the least.
I had only been there once before, and I did not look around much.
But now Draco and I had the whole day to just be with each other.
It could still be a good day!
A/N I hope you all enjoy this new Dramione story. I know It's kind of short but future chapters will be longer. I was inspired by the song "Secrets" From The Addams Family Musical. In the beginning of the first few chapters I will have lines from the song.
