Hello! I know, I know- it's begetting a little too flufffy and some would say boring- but I promise you I'm just back-storytelling for the next few events- everything adds up at some point. Plus I'm trying to have a crack at humour...ugh it's really not funny is it?
She "Scorpion? Right?" Came a voice from behind him. The blonde turned around and saw a boy with black spikes hair and brown eyes. "Remedy?"
"Yeah- Scorpion- look-" He pulled out the chair beside him. "Scorpius." Scorpius corrected. "Yeah, Yeah- whatever- so how do I get close to Ah- you know." He gestured at the girl who was just sitting with him, now over at the other bookshelf's in the distance. "Rose?" He asked. Remedy nodded, "Yeah, so how do I get close to Rosie-"
"Rose." He corrected,
"What does she like to do- where does she like to go?" Remedy asked. Scorpious glanced at Rose, "And you want to know her all of the sudden...why?" Scorpius asked, trying to drag out the conversation so that when she came back hopefully he would've gone.
"Because look at her! She's definitely changed and she's hot as!"
Scorpius frowned as he looked at Rose. Changed? Besides from the fact that she had started wearing skirts- unlike her boys shirts from last year- wich showed her legs, and the hair cut she hadn't changed much. "Well I guess there's a few things that she likes, she really likes when you call her by her birth name- Rosalie- she really loves that- oh she's coming back-"
Remedy got up and began walking away while Rose- Who was too busy looking at the book titles she had just chosen- began talking, "Who were you talking to?" She asked.
"Remedy."
"Remedy? What did he want?" She asked. Scorpius shrugged, "I honestly don't know- I wasn't really listening."
"Isn't he dreamy?" Alice asked. Rose sighed as she put her watering can down beside their potted plant. "Are you going to help me?" She snapped. Alice nodded as she stopped leaning on the bench and stood up straight, brushing the dirt off of her skirt. "How much water again?" Rose asked.
"Alice?"
She looked over and saw the blonde haired girl clutching the instructions to her chest as she starred at Scorpius. "Alice!" Rose snapped as she clicked her fingers. The blonde haired girl turned to her, "Yes?"
"How much water?" Rose repeated.
"Half a cup." Alice said, her eyes not leaving the blonde haired boy. Rose turned to Alice as she poured water into their plant, "Why don't you join his silly little fan club if you like him so much."
"Ugh, really?" Alice groaned. "My thoughts exactly on those girls." Rose agreed. "I wouldn't- Besides no one there wants to date him because if she did the others would murder her- Besides they all know that he has en eye for someone else."
"Who would that be?" Rose asked. Alice frowned as she looked at Rose, looking away from Scorpius for the first time today. "Why are you so interested? he doesn't like gingers." Alice's comment almost made her laugh. Rose tipped the watering can an angle lower, "Im just bored and want some stuff to throw back in his face later in an argument." Rose lied.
"You really want to know who he has an eye for?" Alice asked. "Who?" Rose asked, highly amused.
"Sally." Alice said. "What? That's the most pathetic guess on earth-"
"Miss Weasley, look at your plant!" Proffesor sprout cried. Rose tipped the watering can up and saw that their plant's pot was over flowing and water was pooling the table. "Sorry." She apologised.
She caught the amused smirk of Scorpius Malfoy across the room. Rose made a face at him jokingly.
"Talk about that stuff, you and him seem...close." Alice said. "We're friends." Rose muttered as she cleaned up the water. She looked back up and saw Alice eyeing her suspicously, "What? I don't like him- gods If looks could kill- jeez!"
Alice lowered her glare a bit. "Look Alice, I literally asked you for embarrassing things about him so I could use it against him in an argument? Why would I like him?" She argued. "Besides if I did like him and if he liked me back I would've kissed him ages ago.." Rose frowned at what she was saying.
"Have you kissed him before?" Alice snapped. If words could shoot daggers. Rose though, Alice's tone could've cut ice. "No I haven't, calm down."
"Oh, by the way- there's no need to be interested in Scorpius- look over there." Alice smiled as her hand pointed to Remedy.
"Remedy?" Rose asked. That moment the boy looked up and he smirked at her, "Something distracting you Rose?" He asked, more than loudly. Scorpius, two tables away shot a venomous glare at him. Rose shook her head, "No, were just making fun of your hair cut." Avery snapped from beside her. Rose laughed as she turned to him, "Thanks."
"So who are you interested in, then?" Alice asked. Rose shrugged, "I don't know." Unfortunately her eyes made the very stupid decision to glance at Scorpius that moment.
To her relife, Alice ignored it. "Well? tell me?"
"He's not from this school.." Rose lied. "What does he look like?"
"Er..Blue eyes- slightly taller than me- qudditch player, dreamy as hell-"
"Whats his name?" Alice interupted.
"Scorian." Rose said quietly. "That sounds a lot like-"
"Shrivelfig." Rose cut over Alice quickly. Alice looked confused, "Shrivel-what?"
"Get the Shrivelfig seeds please." She asked, brushing aside her bangs and pointing towards the sack full of seeds by the watering can tables. In this time Rose glanced across the greenhouse and met eyes with Scorpius, "How's you partner?" He mouthed.
"One of your fan girls. Enough said." Rose replied. She pointed to the blonde girl beside Scorpius who was starring at him immensely, "Hows your partner?"
"Worse than yours." He sighed.
Rose smiled as she brushed a curl aside.
"Is this enough?" Alice asked. Rose turned back to her partner, "Yeah- could you water this one?" She pushed the pot plant towards her, along with the watering can. Not wanting this plant to flood, she stole one glance at Scorpius before watching Alice pour it.
Rose pulled Scorpius ontop of her as she shifted underneath him on the couch- what had once been where she would study with Avery was now a make-out spot. his hands were on her waist, and hers were around his neck and, every now and then, in his hair.
His lips travelled over hers as their tongues slid against eachother. he pulled her closer against him as he out a hand down to hold himself up so he didnt crush her.
"Scorp we cant just kiss like this infront of Avery-"
"God Rose, just kiss me will you.." He barely spoke before he lips were on hers again. She smiled into the kiss. "Its been all.." He kissed her again, "..day since ive seen you."
Rose kissed him harder as eventually his arm next to her slipped and he sat lightly laying ontop of her, his hands running up and down her sides as he kissed her so hard she was pressed against the couch. "Scorp.." she trailed off as his kisses shifted from her lips and down her chin to her jaw, and slowly, slowly, down the side of her neck as his hands rested on her skin underneath her buttoned shirt on her back.
Nibbling softly on her soft skin.
"Rose."
Scorpius stopped kissing her and Rose pushed him away as she heard her name. She sat up on the couch and saw Avery. "Im so sorry we should've-"
He pointed to Scorpius, "You are going to be in big trouble." The black haired boy said. "What! No!" Rose stood up infront of him, "Please dont tell anyone i-"
"Shhh!" Avery snapped. He glanced again at the messy haired blonde. "I would never tell- besides, The prefects are here for suprise inspections- their outside the door."
"What!" Rose cried. She ran a hand through her short hair, "No this is it im gonna loose my position were so screwed i-"
"I could hide." Scorpius suggested. "Where?" Rose asked. "Under your bed?"
"You do that- Avery come on." she grabbed Avery's arm and hurried over to the heads common room painting door as Scorpius hurried into her room.
Avery opened the painting and Rose took a deep breath. Albus, Clarke, Lorraine and Joel stood at the door. "Hey Al, Clarke, Lorraine, Joel." Rose said casually as if her boyfriend werent hiding under her bed.
"If you both got our owl then you would know were here for suprise inspections for proffesor McGonagal?" Lorraine said. Rose nodded, "Yes."
"Joel, Lorraine, go check Avery's room. Albus and I will check Rose's." Clarke said as she walked through the painting. Albus shooting her a 'I'm sorry' look as he knew Scorpius was coming here. She looked at him with a pained smile wich said, 'its okay'. She realised that surely Albus wouldnt have known that there was a suprise inspection.
Clarke was in Rose's room now and was standing in the doorway pointing to the coffee table by the fire, "Nice and clean." She muttered, then she turned around and walked into her room. Rose ran after her and sat on her bed hoping that they wouldnt need to check under.
Only moments later they did to her horror. "Can we check under the bed? I know it sounds stupid but McGonagal asked after last years heads-"
"Sure." Rose said a little too quickly as she stood up and stepped aside. Albus got down on his knees as he looked under the bed. Scorpius looked Albus in the eyes, "Please dont tell." he mouthed. Albus nodded softly as he stood up. "All clear, Clarke."
Clarke gave one last look around Rose's room, "Everything looks nice and clean.." Clarke pulled at a wrinkle in Rose's blanket on her bed and Rose watched in horror as a Slytherin Tie was revealed under it.
Clarke frowned, "You and Avery are in Griffindore, how did this get here?" She asked, picking it up.
"Albus." Rose said quickly, "Albus asked McGonagal if we could work together on a partner assigned essay from class and she approved." Rose handed the tie to Albus. Clarke gave them a suspicous look, "There cousins!" Avery snapped as he enetered the room. "There not screwing eachother- Clarke your disgusting!"
Avery and Clarke began arguing as Rose grabbed the tie from Albus's hand and flung it under the bed. "Thank you." She said to Albus. He nodded before grabbing angry Clarke and leaving the room.
Rose walked over to her door and gave a short wave to Albus and the others leaving before she shut her bedroom door softly.
Immediately she felt and arm wrap around her waist. "No Scorpius, I have to study." She said softly.
She turned to face him and he wrapped his arms around her back pulling her against him, "Why?" He groaned. "Because N.E.W.T.S exist!" She snapped as she tried to unwrap his arms. "But you dont even have to study and you'll ace it!" He whined.
"No." She said simply. She made way for her desk chair at her desk but he sped over before she could get there and sat down on her chair. "Your funny you know." She said as she sat down in his lap.
"I know." He mumbled as he dug his face into her hair, taking in the apple scent. "You know i love you right?" Scorpius mumbled. "Er, yes?" Rose said. "Well.." He trailed off, "Remedy is going to ask you out."
"What!?" Rose snapped as she kncoked over her ink pot. "Sorry." he mumbled.
"Because you know you all cant be as dashing and handsome as i am." Scorpius said sarcastically as they entered the classroom. Rose laughed but stopped as she saw what was written on the board. Many of the students were pointing and whispering at the messy chalk-written words.
"Go out with me Rosalie?" Albus read aloud. Scorpius started laughing and Rose made a vomit face.
"Rosalie?" She snapped. clutched her book closer to her chest.
And this wasnt the only class that was embarrassingly jeopardized, in fact, every class she had for the rest of the day had the same question and the same smiling Remedy standing by the front.
Rose even had the nerve to write "No." as her response on the last class she had after receiving the question again.
Scorpius thought it was funny at first untill on a weekend, when they were hanging out or cuddling, Rose would recive a letter asking the same question.
"No need to get jealous Scorp." Albus said. Rose shot him a dangerous look. "What?" Albus snapped. "Im not jealous- im just angry that some guy keeps asking out my girlfriend-" Rose hit him in the side and they glarred at his fan club who were listening in.
"I was snogging her the other day-" Scorpius had lowered his voice to a whisper. "-And an owl appeared at her window."
"Okay, thats strange." Albus agreed. "Guys im not concerned over it- i could report him for harassment if it continues." She suggested.
Except it did continue. Rose would sit down and find her toast carved with the words, "Date me Rose Weasley?" She pushed her plate away hastily. "Ugh." Scorpius starred at the toast, his eyes burning with anger.
"Im gonna punch him." Scorpius said suddenly. Rose looked up at him, alarmed, "No! Dont do that!"
That deal between Rose and Scorpius that he wasnt allowed to beat up Remedy was stable. Untill this happened...
"Your in love with me arent you?" The black, spikey haired boy asked as he walked beside her. Rose tried to walk a little faster but she didnt look casual enough when she was trying to get away, after all she didnt want to be rude.
But desperate times call for desperate measures. "No im really not- what would make you think that?" Rose asked out of interest. "The way you look at me-" Rose thought about this, "Oh you mean on the verge of vomiting?" She asked.
Remedy frowned, "Well then, you look adorable when your about to throw up- not many girls share that ability." Rose rolled her eyes, "Why are you tryna be such a try hard?" She asked.
"Excuse me?" Remedy asked. "Not excuse you, excuse me." she snapped before clutching her books tighter and running off around the corridor corner.
Once past the corridor she looked down the halls of students walking into their classrooms. "I need to go-"
She turned and hit a solid object and realised it was Remedy. "Stop harassing me!" She snapped. "Harassing you?" Remedy asked. "I dont need to be asked out over letter everyday when im hanging out with my friends!" She told him.
"Just kiss me now then!" Remedy said as he half chased after her, reaching for her hand, "Just leave me alone." She snapped. "No- ive tried so hard for so many weeks, Rose!"
"Two weeks is plural but doesnt count as 'so many'" She corrected, "Stop changing the subject!"
"Stop following me! Your classes are that way!" Rose snapped. She spotted Scorpius and Albus in the distance.
"Can you just kiss me once to see if you like it?" Remedy asked. Rose stopped, metres away from her friends. "Look your a really nice guy- but i hate you-"
Remedy had grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him, his lips meeting hers for a brief second before something separated them both, it was blur as Rose stubbled back, but the thing she saw was Remedy and a lot of blood, and Scorpius's fist.
Hello! another chapter. Wow. Im trying not to make too much stuff happen in one chapter like im rushing everything or fast forwarding/skipping time too much. Im not right? I mean hey- I aint no author! Please leave a review! its warms my heart reading them!
