The van she was in had been moving for a long time. Grace was terrified. She had no idea where she was headed or what was going to happen to her. She could neither see nor say anything as her mouth was gagged and her eyes blinfolded. Her hands were bound with rope and the more she tried to move them, the more the ropes dug into her skin and hurt them. All of a sudden, the van came to a grinding halt.

"Boss, what do we do with this one?" One of Emilio's lackeys asked him.

Running his finger along the side of Grace's face, Emilio smiled, "We'll kill her, but not just yet. Keep her for now."

A mixture of emotions ran through Grace's mind. She didn't know if she should feel relieved that they wouldn't kill her yet. Maybe that would leave some time for someone to find her. On the contrary, she couldn't imagine what they might do to her in the mean time.

"Get up!" Another man shouted at Grace as he roughly pulled her by the arm and dragged her out of the van.

The chilling night air made Grace shiver as she was dragged along a dirt road for a few seconds before entering a building. Grace tried to use her other senses to figure out where she was and she paid attention to the direction they were going. Opening another door, the man pushed Grace into a smaller room, and shoved her onto the floor. He tied her legs up before saying, "You stay here and don't you dare give me any problems! I'm going to remove your gag but if I hear a squeak from you, I'm gonna put it right back on, you understand?!" He warned.

Grace knew better than to disobey his orders. She was sure no one would be around to hear her even if she screamed anyway. The man removed the gag and blindfold. He then left the room and locked the door behind him. Grace looked around and took in her surroundings. The room she was in was small and dark. There were no windows, just cemented walls and floor, and a wooden door. Grace closed her eyes, willing that this was just a terrible dream but she knew it wasn't. Her thoughts strayed to her mother, seeing her getting stabbed in front of her eyes. Now that she was left alone in the cold, dark room, she couldn't stop the tears. Danno, save me, please! Grace prayed silently.

The door reopened and another man came in. Grace stifled her cry as the man approached her and crouched in front of her. He cupped Grace's face in his hand, "Do you know who I am?" He asked. Grace recognised the voice instantly. This was the man that had called her father. The same man that had stabbed her mother. Grace's eyes filled with tears as she scanned his face for the first time. "Yes. I'm the one that sent your mother to heaven. But don't worry, you'll join her soon." He cupped his hands tighter. "But really, you can't blame me. Your father did this to you." He let go of Grace's face which was when she took the chance to attack him. She drove her head into his face, knocking him over.

"Don't blame my father for what you are doing!" Grace yelled, unable to contain her anger when she came face to face with the man that stabbed Rachel. "You killed my mother! You're a monster."

Two guards standing outside the room immediately entered and held onto Grace. Emilio regained his balance and stared into her eyes. He stood up and ironed his shirt with both hands. Signalling to the two man, they dragged Grace up to her feet. He slapped her on her right cheek, the force almost knocked her down. Wrapping his palms around her neck, Emilio hissed, "Listen up! Don't try to be smart with me." He squeezed her neck tighter, causing Grace to struggle for air, "We can make this painless if you want or we can make it so painful you'd beg to be killed." He let go of her neck and pushed her onto the floor.

Grace hit the floor with a loud thud, hitting her head as she fell. The figure in front of her started to fade as she succumbed to the darkness.

It was 3 a.m., 5 hours since the incident had happened. The team had gotten nowhere near figuring out anything. CSU had come up empty for foreign prints or DNA and Junior hadn't managed to catch anything on traffic cams either. Lou had called 2 hours ago to say that Rachel was out of surgery and should be awake in several hours. Maybe then, they would get some helpful information.

"Lou! Is Rachel awake?" Steve asked as he approached the larger man who was standing outside Rachel's room.

"Hey, Steve. No, not yet but the doctor said she should be awake anytime soon. Thank god she's okay Steve, she's the only one who might help us right now." Lou stated.

Steve and Lou entered the room, waiting for Rachel to regain consciousness. It was not long later that she did. "Rachel?" Steve's voice was gentle.

"Hey, hey, it's Steve, Rachel. You're okay," he continued when he saw a tinge of confusion in her eyes.

"Wha.. Grace?! Where's Grace? Danny, where's Grace?" Rachel started to get agitated.

"Calm down, Rachel. Please calm down, you just had surgery. You were stabbed, do you remember?" Steve reasoned.

"Steve, where are they?" She toned down reasonably, a tear escaping her eye.

"Rachel we need to know what happened. Did Danny do this to you? Did he hurt you?" Steve asked the question he knew the answer to.

"What? No, no. Of course not." Rachel was shocked. "Where is Danny?"

Lou and Steve heaved a sigh of relief. "Okay, you need to tell us what happened, Rachel."

"I.. it was around 10 p.m. I was in the kitchen getting a glass of water when I don't know... someone grabbed me from behind. I shouted which I shouldn't have because then Grace came out of her room and they saw her and.. Steve they took her," Rachel sobbed.

"It's okay, Rachel. Is there anything else you remember?"

"There were 4 of them, all wearing masks. One of them grabbed Grace and covered her mouth. One of them was saying how Danny had to pay for what he did."

Steve's worst fear was confirmed. It was nothing but a revenge plot. Problem is who?

"Do you know who he was?" Lou asked.

"I think I heard a name. He uh he called Danny and he was saying his name was.." Rachel tried to recall the name she had heard. "Reyes? Emilio Reyes, I think."

Steve's face turned red. He turned towards Lou whose anger was apparent on his face. Both knew what Marco Reyes had done. If this guy was affiliated to Marco, Steve knew they didn't have much time to save Grace.

Noticing the change in their expressions, Rachel knew it was not good, "Who is he? Steve, he took Grace! I saw them dragging Grace away with my eyes but I couldn't do anything. Please find her! Please! And where's Danny?" Rachel cried.

"Rachel, there was nothing you could have done. Don't blame yourself. W.. we don't know where Danny is right now. I promise you that I will do anything to find Grace and Danny, you hear me? You need to rest." Steve assured her.

Lou whipped out his phone and dialled Tani's number. "Tani, I want you to run this name Emilio Reyes. I want anything you can find on him."

Steve and Lou headed straight towards the headquarters. Now that they had a name, it was time to bring Grace home.

...

Storming into the headquarters with Lou next to him; Steve demanded, "What do you have?"

"Emilio Reyes, 20 years old. He's the son of Marco Reyes, head of a powerful drug cartel in Colombia up until 2015 when he died." Tani started.

"Wait you mean that SOB had a son?" Lou stated.

"Two. He had two." Steve answered matter-of-factly, his face not turning from the screen.

"Wait, do we know this guy?" Junior asked.

"Yeah." Steve did not elaborate.

"Emilio came to Hawaii alone 2 weeks ago under his own name. Unlike his father who has a very exciting track record, Emilio's records are sparkling clean. But I scanned his financials, a credit card under his name was used to book a stay at a villa on the North shore." Tani continued.

"Junior, contact HPD, get them to sit on the villa and wait for us to come." Steve directed. "Let's go."
