Danny had fleetingly considered contacting Steve to let him know what was going on but at the same time, Reyes' threat rang loud in his head. If he had told anyone about him, he would kill Grace and Danny was not about to risk that. This guy was definitely volatile and he's back for vengeance. He wouldn't stop till he got what he wanted. Danny sat in the stolen car, waiting for any news from the radio he had taken from the patrol car earlier. The radio had managed to keep him clear of getting caught by the police as he managed to avoid the areas that he knew they were patrolling. He was getting impatient, however, why were there no updates on the search for Grace. Danny was sure with Five-0 working the case, even if he hadn't told them about Emilio, they would have gotten a lead on Grace's location anyway. Just then, the radio came to life and Danny heard the message being delivered. HPD units were being despatched to wait on a villa at the North Shore until Five-0 arrived. Danny regained some energy as he revved the engine and headed towards the address that was mentioned. Danny had never driven this fast before, Steve would be proud, he thought.

Danny arrived at the house before any despatch cars did. He gingerly climbed over the wall at the back of the villa and landed in the compound. Taking out his gun, he held it in front of him, surveying the area. Spotting a man clad in black walking near the front door, Danny presumed he was one of Emilio's men. Danny went round without being spotted and approached the man from the back. He lifted his gun and brought it down hard and fast in the back of the man's head, instantly knocking him out.

"Ben, you alright?" Danny heard a voice coming from the earpiece the man was wearing. He hid nearby and waited for the other man to approach. Danny spotted a water hose and grabbed it. When the man saw Ben lying on the floor, he immediately reached out for his gun and pointed it in front of him, looking for the intruder. While he was looking on his left, Danny came from the right side and wrapped the water hose around his neck, pulling it tight till he collapsed onto the ground.

Danny searched the men's pockets for a key and entered the house. On the second floor of the villa, he found a man sleeping in one of the rooms. Danny placed the gun on his head and the man flinched, waking up. Smiling at him the man voiced, "Detective Williams, I see you found me."

Danny could recognize that voice anywhere. The voice that he had come to know just a few hours earlier. "Where is my daughter?" Danny demanded, pressing the gun harder onto his head.

"What? Are you going to kill me too?" Emilio retorted.

"Get up. Get up!" Danny shouted, forcing the man to stand up. "Walk." Danny ordered as his left hand held onto Emilio's shoulder and the gun on his right hand. As they walked out the villa, Danny spotted Emilio's car keys on the table and swiped it. He headed for the car and shoved Emilio in the passenger seat, cuffing his hands with the handcuffs he had stowed away in his pocket earlier. Danny took the driver's seat and drove off.

...

Steve's silverado raced through the streets as soon as he got the address to the villa. He was going to catch this lunatic who had taken Grace and make sure the man never came close to her ever again. Reaching the villa about 40 minutes later, Steve climbed out of his truck and saw two squad cars waiting on the villa as he had ordered.

A uniformed officer approached Steve and introduced himself, "Commander, I'm Officer Kalei. There has been no movement in or out of the house since we arrived 20 minutes ago."

"Okay, thank you officer." Steve turned towards his team and nodded. Steve led the team into the villa searching the house. Moving in, they spotted the two men lying unconscious on the ground. They cleared every section of the house but there was no Emilio. Disappointed and enraged, Lou was the first to get out of the house through the back door.

"Steve!" Lou called out. Steve, Junior and Tani came running out. Lou pointed to a silver car parked outside the compound of the villa. They hadn't noticed it earlier as they came in from the front.

"Wait! Isn't that the car that Danny took? He was here," Tani realised.

"Yes. Which means he took Emilio. Guys go back in and find anything you can. Get those two men talking. We need to find out where Danny has taken him." Steve ordered.

Reentering the house, the team scavenged for any clues as to where Emilio might have taken Grace because they were sure that's where Danny was headed next. Junior searched one of the bedrooms and found a cell phone lying on the side table. He picked it up and scrolled through the messages on the phone.

"Hey guys! I think I got something. Here," he showed the screen to the 3 other members. "This message was from two days ago. I think this address might be where he's keeping Grace." Junior elaborated.

Tani got to work typing the address in her tablet. "You might be right. That address is listed to an abandoned warehouse, perfect place to keep someone." Tani confirmed.

"Junior call EMT, get them to standby at the location." Steve tried to push the thought out of his mind but he couldn't ignore the possibility that Grace might be injured or worse. He stormr

...

"Where's Grace? WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?" Danny asked again.

"What's the hurry?" Emilio taunted. "We've hardly even met."

"I'm not interested in your games. Tell me where Grace is or I'll kill you." Danny growled.

"Then you'll never find her body." Emilio smiled, knowing he had hit a raw nerve.

Danny felt a sharp pang in his heart when he heard what Emilio had said. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?"

"I did to her what you did to my father." Emilio started. "I was 15 and my brother was only 9. You took our father away from us!"

"I wish I could tell you I'm sorry but I'm not. Your father was no saint. He deserved that."

"And you deserve to see your daughter die." Emilio's voice hardened.

"Is she dead? Did you kill her?" Danny's voice shook.

Emilio stared at him hard, "She's dead. I can take you if you want to see for yourself. That poor girl had to die all because of her daddy..tsk tsk.."

Danny fell silent, there were no tears to shed. "Gracie, Grace.." He whispered. Danny looked at Emilio who was staring back at him smugly. He revved up the engine, his resolve strengthened.

"Where are you going? I told you she's dead. Uncuff me, I'll take you to her so you can mourn over her," Emilio taunted from the passenger seat.

Danny didn't answer. If Grace was dead, Danny wasn't going to live either. He continued driving in silence while Emilio was in his seat, taunting him the whole time.

"Hey, hey! What are you doing?! Stop!" Emilio yelled when he realised where Danny was heading. There was no road ahead. Danny was going 90 miles per hour straight to the end of a 50 feet drop. "Stop, you're not just going to kill me you're going to kill yourself. STOP!" Emilio called out in frustration.

"I don't care. I have nothing to lose if I've lost Grace." Danny continued going, not slowing down.

Grace, I'm sorry, monkey. I'll see you soon.
