Chapter 6

A few hours later after a long driving Generous and her friends found themselves in a dark forest.

"You're sure this is the right direction?" asked Thunder feeling uneasy.

"Why currently I am sure as I'm honest" said Generous.

"In that case we're definitely lost" said Catherine.

As they got deeper into the woods they started to feel scared as it started to getting dark. Suddenly Thunder started to go slow.

"What's the matter Thunder?" asked Generous.

"I'm just getting tired. We should make a stop" replied Thunder.

Once he stopped Generous and the other girls get down and take a look on the forest as they were scared of the noises around them.

"Do we have to stop here?" asked Clara.

"Only for a while" said Generous.

"Just long enough to loose our minds. We'll be cannibals within a few days, I saw it on a movie once" said Catherine.

"And you'll be the first to go kitty" said Thunder a bit annoyed.

"Hey guys, we can stay in here. Look" said Silver inside a tree as she turned her light on revealing the tree's scary "face". Generous and the others screamed and went into hiding.

"What's the matter?" asked Silver failing to see the tree's scary "face".

"Eaten alive the poor thing!" said Rose anxious.

Silver eventually got out and once she saw the tree's scary "face" she screamed and went into hiding with the others.

"Oh, I thought that you were a goner" said Rose in relief.

"You know guys, we are gonna need some kind of shelter" said Generous as she come out from some bushes.

"Yeah shelter for the likes of them" said Thunder.

"What did you say jerk?!" asked Rose angrily.

"WHAT?!" screamed Thunder.

"Oh sorry about that I meant to say crate!" said Rose which made Thunder even more angrier. Him and Rose where about to fight but Generous uses her magic and levitates them leaving them freeze in the same place.

"Hey look!" said Silver.

The gang stopped and saw Catherine next to tent she made.

"You're welcome?" she said as the group kept staring at her.

That night when everyone were inside the tent and sleeping while outside the tent it was raining, Generous was struggling in her sleep as she was seeing a nightmare and then she woke up by the sound of a lightning and so did everyone else. Suddenly the air blow and sent the tent away. The group was so scared they didn't know what to do.

"Guys calm down, let's stay together" said Generous and she and her friends come closer to each other.

Silver tried to see in the dark with her light, but it started to turn off. Silver turned around and saw that her battery turned off. She then take a look at the stormy clouds.

"If Lampy can do it I can do it too" she thought.

She plugged herself to the battery and stand on a rock with and raised her none up in the sky. Suddenly a lightning hit her and it's electricity fill the battery but at the same time electrocuted Silver and broke her lightbulb. Everyone turned around and were shocked to what they saw.

"SILVER!" screamed Generous.

Once it stopped Silver fall down unconscious. Generous rushed to her place to see if she's alright.

"Silver speak to us" said Generous worried.

"Are you ok Silver?" asked Thunder as he came close to her.

"THUNDER DON'T-"said Generous, but it was too late.

Thunder got electrocuted but he quickly backed away from her. Finally Silver woke up and started coughing.

"Oh my Silver you're alright!" said Bong.

Silver opened her eyes and looked at her friends as her eyes started to get watery.

"I-I only did what's best for us" she said as she was started crying.

After a while Generous and her friends were pitching in to help Silver recover. As Generous was wrapping up Silver's cord with tape Thunder came up to her.

"Hey Silv…..i gotta hand it to ya, that was either the bravest thing you ever done, or the craziest. Knowing you though, I'd go for the latter" he said.

"Wow…..thanks, Thunder. That means a lot" said Silver.

"There you go" said Generous as she was finished wrapping up Silver's cord "And now you need to rest"

Silver lay down to rest as Generous was watching her to make sure nothing bad happens to her.

An hour later Silver woke up. Everyone else were sleeping except Thunder who was looking in the distance.

"Psst...Thunder..." whispered Silver.

Thunder then turned around and saw her.

"Silver? W-what are you doing up? You should be resting" said Thunder.

"That's funny...i was about to ask you the same-ow!" started Silver when suddenly she started feeling weak and in pain and she almost fell but Thunder catches her.

"Hold on! You shouldn't be moving in your condition. Please Silver, go back to sleep. You look like you're in a l-lot of pain" said Thunder.

"And you look like you need someone to talk to" replied Silver.

"Huh? W-why would you...?" asked Thunder surprised but sighed "Look it's n-nothing you need to lose any sleep over...a-and you need all the sleep you can get. You've...e-earned it"

"Wait a minute... Thunder? Are you mad at me?" asked Silver.

Thunder couldn't take this any longer. He started to loose his temper. He turned around and started yelling at her angrily.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED YOU MADE US WITH THAT STUNT YOU PULLED?!HOW WORRIED I WAS?!IF YOU EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN I SWEAR I...I..."

"Whoa! Take it easy, Thunder! I don't think i've ever seen you act like this before" said Silver a bit scared.

Hearing this Thunder calms down and sighs.

"I did it again did i?" said Thunder.

"Did what?" asked Silver.

"You know, being angry. I was always like that!The thing is can't help it...the worst is i'm not fast enough. I always go third or second but never first!I'll never be like Lightning Mcqueen .I'm always number 2" admitted Thunder.

Although Silver was confused, she understood Thunder.

"Keep trying Thunder and you will succed and it's ok to be angry Thunder and i forgive you..." she said.

"Really?"

"Really, really"

"Silver look!" said Thunder.

They turned around and noticed a yellow glowing sphere. As they took a closer look it turned out to be a firefly. Then they look up and noticed more fireflies.

"Fireflies!" said Silver excited.

"The most beautiful creatures..." said Thunder.

"And the brightest..." replied Silver as she and Thunder watched the fireflies.
