Chapter 23: Drowning with guilt.
Fat Amy: hi, so previously till now we found Stacie's liking towards a Micheal, yes Tom's brother Michael. But we don't know if that happens. Then Aubrey and Jesse's "shocking" relationship. But that we don't know if Aubrey is ready for that or not. Then there's a love triangle Beca-Chloe-Tom don't know what gonna happen their too. Wait a minute I'm gonna get our author for that. She will tell you.

As morning cameBeca found herself wide awake thinking, pacing back and forth. She realised a long time ago that she has made a mistake a BIG one but what will she do now. Chloe already hate her probably every Bellas too. Oh who she is kidding they probably want to kill her, perhaps they are making plan for that. Ok maybe she is exaggerating everything but she haven't slept, she is tired, exhausted, she is having headaches due to excessive thinking for last 24 hours. She is not good in apologies very specifically she is not good in pointing out her own mistakes unless someone points out that for her. It was only one time when she said sorry to detector Posen when she was fresher. When she looked back she found out she never uttered word sorry to Chloe in their 4 years of friendship. She never have to use it Chloe always seems to get it just one look in eyes and Chloe forgets anything happened between them. Not even after that camp argument. Sometimes Chloe herself said sorry even when it wasn't her fault clearly. She remembers one time when she yelled at Chloe for something and they didn't talked after that for straight 3 days but at night Chloe came to her and said she missed her and hugged. Everything was forgotten and forgiven in instance. It was that easy with redhead because Chloe made it simple. But what made her stop in track is a non stop beeping sound of her phone.
*Bellas Group Chat*
Emily: The universe is against us. [8.27 am.]
Fat Amy: Remember Emily when I said you are the dumbest person alive once. [8.29 am]
Jessica: seriously Amy you say this every day at least once. So by means of once are you going to say daily once? [8.29 am]
Stacie: Too early Girlssss...tooooo early. [8.32 am]
Emily: Yes it's too early for Bellas to end. We are doomed. [ 8.32 am]
Aubrey: Cut the crap Emily and just spit it out. [8.33 am]
Emily: Our Rehearsal hall is going under renovations. [8.33 am]
Ashley: What? But why now? [8.33 am]
Aubrey: Exactly they can renovate it in spring breaks. [8.34 am]
Emily: They say something about funding availability. [8.35 am]
Stacie: Oh that's Bullshit. So where do we do our practice now. [8.35 am]
Fat Amy: That's Bummer. [8.36 am]
Emily: We have to find a place big enough for our practice. [8.37 am]
Jessica: But where we can find place like that? [8.38 am]
Ashley: And we don't have time either. The our next performance is on next week. [8.39 am]
Aubrey: Everyone stop panicking.. we can find something. Beca don't just read messages do something you are Captain of Bellas. [8.40 am]
Beca: I am very much aware of that. But let me remind you I didn't sign up for any of this shit. [8.42 am]
And she went back to her thinking job. Apparently she has nothing to do today as Rehearsals are out of the way now.
[Meanwhile]
Chloe was on the way of her job when she got this annoying non stop beeping threads. Well its annoying because she was driving and this noise makes it harder to not just get a peak of her phone screen while driving. So as soon as she parked her car in her usual spot behind her work place she opens the message thread. Okay so she wasn't expecting this and she didn't even know what she is thinking now. Poor Chloe she was just expecting a thread of apology messages. Yes she was doing fine now. You know the scale: Great, Good, Okay, Fine. Beca hates her. Tom still is being very stubborn. After she stepped out from Bellas hardly any Bellas spoke to her. Even Aubrey too and they live under same roof. So she focuses on her career at least Chris is happy with her. Chris gave her now high school and middle school batches too. So that's a something right?. She accepted everything that has come into her way in these recent days. But its definitely a new crisis with Bellas. It is tough job for Bellas to find such place for practice. She glanced at her watch and cursed. She was 15 minutes late. Again.
At lunch she had an idea but Chris is not going to like it. She thought for a moment but what else she could do. So she went into his office and explains the situation of Bellas.
"So would you think if they can use my... I mean school's practice hall for next 5 months?" Chloe asks him nervously, "and I promise it won't affect to school in any way."
Chris thinks for a moment before he answer. He doesn't belong to those stereotypical principles who are very strict, old fashioned, in their 50's and specialty in rather maths or science. He is humble, very open minded, in his early 40's and majored and passionate about music. Shocking right? That's why Chloe knows ball will soon to be her court.
"Answer me just one thing." Chris maybe is too soft hearted but also very reasonable person.
"Anything. " Chloe says confidently weaves internally through.
"Why? Why do you care about Bellas?" Chris asks away and as soon as he asks a soft smile spread to her lips perhaps ball was already on her court.
[Later that evening]
*Bellas Group chat*
Aubrey: Anyone any news? [6.18 pm]
Emily: No. [6.19 pm]
Fat Amy: Nope. [6.19 pm]
Jessica: well me and Ashley has gone for some places but it won't be any good for dance practice. [6.25 pm]
Flo: My grandmother offers her backyard. It's big enough but I doubt neighbor can handle our music and noise. Her neighbor's are worst. [6.28 pm]
Lily: I know how to kidnap people. [6.29 pm]
Beca: Do not ever type in group chat Lily. [6.29 pm]
Lily: or kill. [6.29 pm]
Cynthia: man its easy to not hear her but how can we not read her. [6.30 pm]
Emily: The End is near..[6.31pm]
Chloe: Relax Emily, I have a place that'll help you guys. [6.47 pm]
Aubrey: Where it is? [6.48 pm]
Chloe: will be reaching home soon will tell you then? [6.50 pm]
Aubrey: Sure. [ 6.50 pm]
Later that night Chloe explains everything to Aubrey and they decided to carry Bellas rehearsals after school hours as Chloe has dance practice hall's keys and it wouldn't affect Chloe's classes.
*Bellas Group chat *
Aubrey: Bellas crises averted. [8.32 pm]
Aubrey: will send you the details and schedule by tomorrow. [8.32 pm]
[Next day, Chloe's practice hall ]
Her last class has just finished and she sat on one chair relaxing a little bit. Elementary and high schoolers are Okay but middle schoolers are so not okay. After 5 minutes Aubrey enters through doors.
"Everything's okay?" She asks worriedly to Chloe.
"No everything is Okay. Just a heck of a day. I'm going to my office if anything you need just come to my office its after 3 doors right from here. Or when you finished text me we can go home together. " Chloe says while keeping dance props on their respective places and lifting her empty water bottle from her desk.
" You aren't joining?" Aubrey asks even if she already knew her answer.
"No." Chloe says momentarily halting her actions to meet Aubrey's eyes. One by one Bellas started to coming in so Chloe decides to left the hall as she exits the door and turns someone bumped into her causing her to drop the empty bottle down to catch the person who bumped her. The person was none other than Beca and Chloe only can cursed her timing. Chloe immediately retracted her hands from Beca, bend down to lift the bottle up and with hurried apologies she left.
Author's note: Okay well originally I never thought this story will be having more than 25 chapters. Granted chapters are shorts but still. Well let me honest with you guys I'm having difficulties with ending this story. I mean I may have one or more endings and not sure which one I should choose but I'll eventually get the perfect one out of that. Till then get prepare for next chapter is going to carry more drama.
