Author Note: This is the actual beginning. The first two chapters were like a prologue?

Disclaimer: I don't own Bnha or JsH.

Name: Inko Midoriya

Quirk: attraction of small objects

Downfall: headache if the power is used very much or if the user attempt to levitate bigger objects.

It seems that just yesterday he was suffering in that hellhole. Everything was now amazing that it felt surreal.

Ms. Midoriya sure was a nice woman (don't know how much I've said that). She was really helpful. Amane honestly missed her. It's been a couple of month since he's last seen her and he is planning to visit her soon.

Anyway, things are rolling good for him. He unrolled into Aldera Junior High. (It's become an infamous school after the graduation of two of her alumnus from the best hero high school in the country, U.A. It was renovated and the once corrupted staff was replaced. Therefore, it's become quite decent. The students aren't those barbaric creatures but a bunch of talented and decent humans, all because of its entrance exam.) In addition to that, he's leading a peaceful life in a nice apartment and it's all thanks to Ms. Midoriya, as of how that happened, well that is a story for another time.

Aldera Junior High is a public school. It's actually really nice especially compared to what it was years ago. It's free of course. Plus, it's close to his home. And he even made some friends. The perfect school.

A couple of months passed by and he was in his last year.

The teacher, a plain plumb man, just entered the classroom. He held in his hands a pile of papers. Mr. Yobun, as he was named, strutted nonchalantly and placed energetically the pile on his desk.

He coughed lightly to gain the attention of his beloved class –not that it was necessary as the students quite down the moment he stepped into the room.

"So," He stood tall before the class. "As you all know, it's time for you to choose your path in life. You've already submitted your future career forms. I assume most, if not all, of you wish to become heroes. And, I see that many have chosen U.A as a first step. That's good. That's good. It's good to dream big." Mr. Yobun crossed his arm and nodded his head. A big smile was painted on his face. "Yeah," His smile faltered a little. "But you know," he glanced at a boy at the very end. "You should choose carefully because not all dreams are attainable." He trailed off but seeing that an indirect way of speaking would not work, he firmly addressed the boy. "Fuuji-kun, I, um, I don't think that your choice was compatible with, um, your liabi, um, capacities." He mellowed his words a little bit.

That was certainly a 'liability' he was going to say. Mr. Yobun isn't a bad person. If he was, he wouldn't have been so loved by the students. It's just, the people are changing, yes. However, it's still challenging to change their views on the Quirkless. The Quirkless were seen as lesser beings thus they were bullied and abused, now Quirklessness is more of a disability than anything. They are not abused anymore but they aren't seen as proper individuals yet.

"I-I," The boy's voice was uncertain. He looked at the ground as if suddenly interested in it. He fidgeted shyly when his classmates turned their stares (not quite hostile or mocking) at him. They observed him worriedly.

"Fuuji-kun, I don't think that you should go for it," One of his classmates softly said.

"Yeah, Fuuji-kun is talented. You could choose better."

"That's of no use." His best friend spoke lazily like it was a daily argument (and knowing them, it sure is). "That boy's head is as tough as a rock. Talking him out of his childish fantasies is impossible," She waved her arms around dismissively. Wow, to call that uncaring unsupportive being a friend? That friendship is toxic. It's not good to have as best friend someone who cannot trust you, or at least give your dreams more attention.

"I am perfectly sure of my choices. It's my dream since my childhood, I am not backing down now," He retorted strongly, his eyes shining with determination.

"Told ya!"

The teacher sighed. "I am not trying to discourage you or anything. I just know that heroics aren't made for the Quirkless. You have to sacrifice yourself for your people. Many heroes die every year despite their powers. You are not cut for it, my boy." Are you sure we have the same definition of 'discourage'?

"I disagree with you," Amane announced suddenly. All eyes turned to him. What the heck am I doing?

"Yugi-kun?"

"It might be true that when in a battle, a quirk is a bonus to win, but that doesn't mean that a Quirkless person cannot. You can easily turn on the tables on them. Besides, there are many heroes out there that are outstanding while their quirks aren't exactly for combat or can be useless in some situations. Plus, heroics aren't just about battles, it's all about saving. There are many things that would help save many people and not quirks."

Yeah, so you don't want to hear what happens next because I regret it ok. Arguments were thrown out here and there and the class had a fight and then just like that the class went Boom, literally. On the bright side, we won't go to school for a couple of days.

"Thank you very much," Fuuji Kotaka bowed his head to our dear Amane Yugi.

"Huh?" And Amane could not be more confused.

"I really appreciate what you've done for me, no one has ever said that I could be a hero before. That means a lot to me," Fuuji's eyes sparkled with respect and hope.

It's been roughly a month since that incident and he decide to pop up just like that.

Yeah, so that's why he's been stalking me the past month? I know he was a shy boy, but that was absolutely creepy.

"I didn't say anything." Amane said innocently and the look on the green-eyed boy shone with confusion. "I didn't believe in you." His smiled vanished a little. "Don't misunderstand me. I just stated facts. Whether you succeed or not is up to you. Like I've said, quirk or not, that doesn't decide your worth. You are your own person. Work hard!" Amane flashed a sweet smile and patted his shoulder, and then he coolly marched away. I am so cool, I know.

Fuuji's eyes shone with admiration (those are some weird eyes boy, are you sure you're Quirkless?) as he watched his idol's (What?) retreating back. "Thank you, thank you very much. I will work hard to live up to your expectations."

"Now what?" Amane said one day when he was chilling out in his room. A two-tailed Kitsune floated around him casually. "I mean, I want to unroll at U.A. I've still got 10 months before the exam. What should I do?"

"Dunno," Yako, the strange creature, replied. "Be productive. Shouldn't you go training or something?"

"I guess so," Amane, who was lying in bed, responded lazily. He trashed his feet childishly. "Wouldn't that be boring, though?"

"Then do what you were doing before."

"My staring contest with the celling?" He inquired.

Yako would never understand what runs in his mind. "Do you want to be a hero?"

"Of course," he answered truthfully.

"Then go work your ass off."

There are many things that I did not write. It will be revealed in later chapters. Amane's quirk is not regeranation, that's just a part of it. Yeah, pretty obvious. His meeting with Yako (if you don't know her, she's the second mystery in JsH) and what happened with Inko-san (Oh, How I love her) are going to come in later.

Thanks for reading my story so far, Ciao Ciao
