Greetings everyone. I have returned with more Prinxiety fluff.

Once again, if you don't like or ship Prinxiety, you don't have to read this, and thank you to anyone who does.

As always, reviews are always greatly appreciated, and I am currently taking writing requests, so if you have any ideas you would like me to write, simply drop me a DM with some details and I'll see what I can do.

For now, though, here is the Prinxiety fluff.

Basically, I saw a 'questions for your OTP' thing on someone's profile and I decided to make one up for Prinxiety with a friend of mine and we decided that... well, just read it to find out.

Warnings: none really, just Roman being insecure, a few self-deprecating thoughts and intense fluff.

Also, Roman and Virgil are already dating in this story.

Human AU.

Without any further ado, let's dive right in!

Roman brushes a few strands of his brown hair behind his ear, fear curling in his stomach. His golden-brown eyes take in his face, hair, clothes and body, narrowing slightly with every inch they travel over.

The sun struggles to break through the curtains to his right, filling his room with dimmed light which settles on any surface it can reach, most dripping onto the floor and pooling over the carpet. Half of Roman's face is illuminated partially from the light, while the left side is still mostly shrouded in darkness and shadows.

Roman bites his lip gently as he shakes his head rapidly. His hair flops around in the air before falling flat against his head when he faces the mirror again. He then pushes them his brown locks into a style he normally likes, though today it just... doesn't look right.

The boy sighs and simply leaves the room, not looking back once. His phone buzzes in his back pocket, but he ignores the sound and sensation as he makes his way down the stairs and into the kitchen.

And who should be there, sitting on the kitchen island staring at his phone, but Virgil.

Brilliant.

Roman groans inside as he makes his way past Virgil to the cereal cupboard, but his presence seems to alert the darkly dressed boy. His dark brown eyes flick up from Tumblr to land on his taller boyfriend, and in one swift motion he drops from the kitchen island and wraps his arms around Roman's waist.

"Morning." He mumbles, still slightly sleepy, into Roman's ear, standing on his tip toes. Roman's cheeks glow pink in the light from the sun that blazes through the window in the living room, and he turns to face Virgil before scooping him up into a tight hug.

"Morning, star shine." He replies, and Virgil can sense something in his voice, though he isn't sure what it is. His eyes narrow a bit before Roman pulls away from the hug and turns around again. As he opens the cupboard, Virgil takes a step back and walks over to the coffee machine in the corner. After checking if it's full, he clicks it on and finds his and Roman's favourite mugs. He prepares their coffees as Roman pours himself a bowl of cornflakes (A Splitting Of The Mind, anyone? Just me? Okay). Roman places his bowl onto the kitchen island as Virgil carefully carries the mugs over, gently putting one down in front of Roman and the other next to his own phone, which he had left on the surface. He then sits on one of the bar stools at the island and unlocks his phone, his dark eyes flicking every now and then to the boy to his right, who simply stares at his breakfast as he eats in silence.

Less than twenty minutes later, Roman gets up from the stool and walks towards the dishwasher near the kitchen sink (wow I didn't think I could hate myself this much...). He drops his spoon in before placing his bowl and empty mug into their respective places and closing the machine. He then passes Virgil, gently pressing a soft kiss to the boy's forehead, and makes his way back upstairs. Virgil watches him go through the corners of his narrow eyes.

Upstairs, Roman catches his reflection's eye from across his room. He takes one look at himself before the negative thoughts come crashing in.

He's going to leave you soon.

He'll realise that you're not enough.

You never were enough, and you never will be.

He'll soon wake up and see that he deserves better than you.

Stop trying.

Roman doesn't feel his knees get weak and buckle beneath his weight until he drops down onto the edge of his bed, his eyes clouded over.

He lets himself topple backwards onto his back before he rolls over onto his side, eyes squeezed shut. He lays his hands in front of his face as his knees bend and tuck tightly into his chest. He feels the tears flow from his eyes as he lets out choked sobs.

He doesn't notice the door open or someone walk in until the edge of his bed creaks as that someone sits beside him. Someone's hands pull his body into a tight hug, and he curls into the other's arms, savouring their touch. He huddles into their hoodie and immediately he realises who is sat with him, their arms cradling him close to their body.

"V-Virge-" a quiet, soothing shushing sound reaches his ears and the boy hugs Roman even closer to his chest. A slow, calming tune creeps its way into Roman's ears, and his body seems to melt into his boyfriend.

"If I could be with you tonight, I would sing you to sleep," Virgil sings quietly under his breath, clutching Roman tightly, "never let them take the light behind your eyes..." Roman feels a light blush coat his cheeks as he nuzzles into Virgil's body.

Five minutes later, Roman's eyes have stopped leaking and Virgil simply holds him close to his left side.

"Are you okay?" Virgil's soft voice breaks the silence, concern thick and evident in his tone. Roman simply nods, to which Virgil raises a single eyebrow doubtfully. Roman sighs.

"Not really." He replies, the words falling from his lips before he can stop them. Virgil's eyes are sad as they meet Roman's, and the shorter boy gently brushes a few strands of Roman's hair out of his gorgeous, wide, golden-brown eyes.

"What's wrong?" The emo asks, and Roman can't stop the emotions from falling out. His words escape his lips in a jumbled rush of insecurities, and Virgil seems to be close to tears by the time Roman's finished his explanation.

"Roman, you're not what you think you are. You're beautiful, you're perfect. You just need to see that, then you'll be able to love yourself like I love you." He presses a soft kiss to Roman's forehead, a ghostly reminder of that morning, and Roman smiles gently to himself as he lays his head against Virgil's neck, fitting perfectly into the crook. Virgil holds him tight, rubbing soothing circles into his back. Roman's own arms wind around Virgil's torso, and he brings himself closer.

"Just remember," Virgil says after a minute or two of comfortable silence, "the world is ugly, but you're beautiful to me."

The single line brings tears to Roman's eyes again, and he leans somehow even closer into Virgil's body. The shorter boy smiles softly and quietly hums a calming tune. Roman smiles.

For the first time in a while, he knows that he is loved.

And so are all of you, so if you ever feel alone, remember that there are plenty of people who are there for you and would happily listen to you if you need to get something off your chest.

I hope you all liked this oneshot, and as always, if you have any requests, simply drop me a DM or leave a review and I'll see what I can do. I only write for Sanders Sides and Ninjago, so no requests for anything else, and no crossovers.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing okay in Coronacation, and I'm sure we'll get out of this soon enough.

I'll see y'all later!

Stay, safe, stay home, stay alive
