"Jagiya! Are you ready?" - my husband, Taehyung yelled up from downstairs.

"I'm almost done! I'll be down in 2 minutes, I promise!"

Tae chuckles. "That's what you said 20 minutes ago, love."

We were getting ready to go to a friends party. They were having a formal themed wedding anniversary, so we were to dress up in our fanciest attire.

I was wearing a new dress I had only bought 3 days ago. I went with just a simple prom dress. It is a long, flowy, purple gown that I knew when I saw it on the hanger would be the one.

I finish the final touches on my lipstick, and double check my makeup and hair in the mirror to make sure everything is in order. I then walk out of the bathroom, heading down the stairs.

Taehyung was sitting at the kitchen island on his phone when I came down.

"I'm ready, babe."

"Ugh, finally I've been waiting for-" his sentence stops as his eyes finally land on me, eyeing me from head to toe. "Wow. You look- wow. You're stunning."

I start blushing, and look down. "Aww stop it. You look very handsome yourself."

Tae walks to me and gently grabs my face with his large hands.

"You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. How did I get so lucky to marry you?" - he says, leaning down to gently kiss my lips.

"I feel like I'm the lucky one." - you say, your brown eyes looking into his.

"I love you so much, my wife."

"And I love you, my husband." - you respond, giving his lips one last peck and pulling away from his embrace. "Ok we really should go, we're gonna be late."

"And who's fault is that again?" - he says sarcastically, putting his finger on his cheek in a thinking motion.

"im sorry! I had to make sure I looked ok."

"Babe, you look gorgeous no matter what. You could wear a paper bag and still be the most stunning woman in my eyes." - he says, intertwining our fingers as we walk out the door, headed to a night filled with fun, laughter, and love.
