This is my first oneshot that I just decided to post on a whim. Please keep in mind that I wrote this in 30 minutes in middle school. I did go over it briefly to correct some things, but most of the oneshot stays true to the original.

Slam! The sound echoed throughout the empty classroom as an orange haired boy trapped another male underneath his body. He gritted his teeth. His frustration had finally boiled over, goaded by the boy underneath him. The red head smirked. "Tell me Akabane-san, what is Class 3-E hiding?" he asked. Although phrased as a question, his tone demanded the answers. He received a maniacal laugh in response.

After laughing for a good few seconds, he stopped his laughter. "Asano-kun~, it must kill you to not be in the know huh?" the boy teased. "I was once just like you, poking my nose into where it didn't belong. So take this as advice from someone who is suffering the consequences of knowing what I shouldn't have known," he advised him. The red head pushed himself up and leaned up close to his captor's ear. "Asano-kun, I'll tell you this once and once only," he whispered into the orange head's ear. "Stay. Away. From. My. Class."

Asano's face had exploded into a feverish state at the close proximity between them. He hadn't expected the other male's response and it brought shivers that tingled down his spine when he thought about how the boy acted. But his pride as a Gakushu prevent him from abandoning his prey. He had to know what was going on in his territory. Leaning in closer, he adopted a menacing expression in an attempt to frighten the information out of the male that was underneath him.

Bam! The classroom door slammed open with a giant bang, startling the two occupants. Looking to the doorway, the boys spotted a girl staring at them with a heavy blush on her face. The situation worsened when the girl opened her mouth. "U-um! I'll be going now! I see I came at a bad time!" she squeaked while she fled the room.

"Hey! Did you hear about Asano-san and the E Class delinquent?" "Who's the E Class delinquent? Aren't they all delinquents?" "Idiot, I was talking about Akabane Karma." "Oh. So what happened? Did that jerk hit my Asano-kun? Oh I hope not!" "No no no! The very opposite in fact! I heard that…"

"…hooking up…"

"…caught in the act…"

"Woah, have you guys heard about what happened between Asano-san and that Akabane kid? No? Well this is what I heard…"

"…made sure? ...fact?!"

"Oh Kami-sama, please tell me this isn't true! Please tell me this is all just a horrible nightmare!"

Asano gritted his teeth angrily. Damn that E Class low-life. How dare he depict him in such a disgraceful position. But he couldn't deny the slight fluttering in his heart when he caught a fleeting conversation discussing if he and Akabane were together. However badly he wanted his desires to manifest, no matter the feelings that were involved, it just wasn't possible. Maybe in another life if he was a girl then he might've stood a chance. Now though… if he were to reveal his feelings outright, he would not only be a disgrace to his family name, but also as a member of Class A. Asano sighed and rubbed his forehead. Great. The situation was a reflection of Romeo and Juliet, albeit a more modern version. He sighed again. It's too early in the morning for these troubles.

Donning on his usual arrogant smile, he strode into Class A confidently. At the sight of him, his previously quiet classmates erupted into furious whispers once more. He winced on the inside. It's going to be a long day for him.

"Kufufufufu. Karma-kun, do you perhaps have want to be an addition to my romance book? I heard about your star-crossed romance from the excited rumor mill." Karma blushed as red as his hair. "What?! No!" he exclaimed, quickly shaking his head in denial. "Are you suureee Karma?" A blonde haired girl teased, leaning on his desk. "Yes!" he snapped at her before turning away. For some reason he was unusually high strung today. Maybe it had something to do with the rumors? Probably, he decided. Then he slumped over his desk. This day just keeps on getting better and better, he sighed.

They both sighed simultaneously. 'Hopefully this day doesn't get any worse,' they thought with a grimace.

During the end of Asano's class, a teacher arrived, claiming that his father had requested to meet with him in his office. Asano felt his stomach drop at the possibility of what his father wanted to talk to him about.

His grades? No, those were still good. His mind immediately jumped to E Class. No, not that either because his father was being unusually tight lipped about them now. Maybe…

He shook his head. There was really no use trying to figure out his father. After all, he did live by the motto of preparing for the unexpected.

Asano got up from his seat to follow the teacher.

By the time he arrived at the door of his father's office, he was trembling in fear. After all, his father is quite the fearsome man. But nevertheless, he pushed open the door and walked in.

There, behind the desk and facing the window sat his father, waiting for his son to arrive to discuss matters. His father soon twirled his chair around to face his son.

"So…," his father began, "is it true?" Asano blinked in surprise. He tilted his head in confusion. "What is true, Otou-sama?" He questioned.

"The rumors."

Asano paled. "W-what rumors are you talking about, Otou-sama?" he asked him shakily.

"You know what I'm talking about. Don't play me for a fool, Asano."

Asano quieted under his father's stern gaze. "No, it is not true Otou-sama. It was only a student that jumped to conclusions when I was with Akabane Karma from E Class."

"And why were you with him in the first place, son?"

"A-ah because I was confronting him about… h-his family! Yeah his family!" Asano declared nervously.

Silence. Asano sweated under the pressure of his father's unrelenting gaze.

"Alright. This concludes our discussion. Go home and you know what to do."

"Yes sir," he said, relieved to be freed from the questions.

"So… is it true?"

"The rumors?"

"No. But I wish it was.
