extra water and put it on top of Artemis' scar. Artemis winced, leaving Holly looking at her friend with sorry eyes. "Can't you just heal the wound? I'm sure there would be less pain in this process." Artemis whined, giving Holly a slightly annoyed face. "It's better to clean the wound first before healing, that would make the process easier." "I see." he glanced up at the ceiling, staring at the patterns on it.

All of a sudden, he felt strange! He could hear Butler washing the dishes even though he was upstairs and the kitchen was all the way downstairs. He felt his left ear twitch backward, which was odd since he had never really known that he could twitch his ears. He was also so hungry he could drool. His eyesight felt sharper and he could smell the scent of Holly's perfume.

After Holly cleaned the wound and healed the scar, to her surprise the big scar didn't go away. The swelling and bleeding stopped but not the scar! "Artemis, my magic worked but the scar didn't go away. What did bite you anyway?" She asked having a nervous concerned tone, looking over at Artemis. "Well, that is strange, but I think I was bitten by an oversized wolf. Its fur was white with stripe-like grey markings and the eyes were amber but you could easily mistake them for yellow eyes. Holly, could there be a possible chance this wolf was...-" Artemis was cut off by Holly's finger over his lips, staring over somewhere, a look on her face that meant she was thinking with a serious look.

Her eyes went wide with realization, looking over to Artemis with an almost pained look. "Artemis... have you ever read about other creatures that are said to have gone extinct in the fairy books?" She said, her ears quivering. "Yes. I was 13 when I read the chapter, it has very interesting facts about goblins, dragons, werewolves-" "Stop right there!" Holly said. She quickly looked through the book on her communicator and found the topic on werewolves.

"Werewolves used to be used by elves as secondary protection but ever since the humans forced fairies underground it is said that humans killed most of the population of the werewolves. These are NOT the type of werewolves that run around on two legs, but almost the same as regular wolves but bigger in size and more abilities such as:

. Telepathy

.Higher sense of smell

. Can jump high

. Fangs are sharper

. More strength and muscle

. Two times bigger (sometimes smaller than the average werewolf depending on body type)

. Better tracking skills

. Higher earshot

. Fast stamina and speed

But even though these werewolves aren't the same looks as fable werewolves, that doesn't mean they don't have the same appetite. When the werewolf is hungry they will ask for more meat and eat more than usual (IF that werewolf was a human).

ALSO! If someone has a scar that can be healed but the scar hasn't gone away, this is a sign that the victim has been bitten by a werewolf. You will notice their changes if you notice they are eating more meat then they should, exercising a lot and if they have gone out a lot then they usually should and some change in personality. If the victim has been through a lot then the victim will be sensitive to touch and will become easily tempered. The only way for that victim to cure this condition is to kill the one who bit him/her. If someone else were to kill the werewolf then the curse would remain on the victim forever.

WEAKNESSES: Silver such as bullets, silverware, fences, etc...

fears: wooden sticks (because sticks were used on werewolves to beat), silver (of course), and accidentally hurting his/her friends or family for it can cause stress causing the victim to go through a huge amount of guilt which could lead to serious situations such as the victim running away."

Holly read all of this in fear and sympathy. Artemis can't fight and he lacks coordination but having to kill someone is something he could not master at all. She slowly glanced up at Artemis, her face still in shock, leaving Artemis looking at Holly with concern. "What is it, Holly? Did you perhaps look through the book?" Holly went up to Artemis and cupped his face in her small hands, Artemis flinching and his face turning nervous from the touch. Holly took a deep breath, and said, "Artemis... you were bitten by a werewolf." She said the last part slowly.

INTERMISSION

Artemis looked at her, face frozen. He turned to look at his scar, then he had the sudden urge to shake her, tell her she must be joking. But it wasn't since it seems obvious, he noticed that he had sharper senses. That explains the new senses... what do I do? Will the Twins and Mother and Father find out? Artemis couldn't help himself but show that he was panicking, his hands started fidgeting, and his eyes showed panic so much Holly could have sworn his pupils shrank into tiny dots. Holly tried to comfort him but Artemis moved back, you would almost think he was like a small boy who lost his mother. "I...I know I don't usually lose this much composure but, I just... despite the things I've gone though I have to become a...bloodthirsty wolf." Artemis shuddered.

Holly slowly walked up to Artemis, had out to him like he was a dog to see how he would respond. Artemis did not respond well to this, for he stared at the hand with a menacing glare and did a low growl. Holly immediately moved her hand back. Artemis stepped back, covering his mouth realizing what he just did. "Did...did I just growl at you?"
