Artemis stares at Holly with the look of a dog, pleading for forgiveness. Holly accepted his apology and put her hand to her side. "Artemis, I'm sorry I forgot that you are sensitive to touch." She looked at Artemis with apologetic eyes. I want to feel your touch Holly, it comforts me. It's the main reason why I'm not as broken as I was when I first met you. Your hugs, your playful punches and your pats on my shoulder were the little bits of comfort I needed for my mind. Artemis thought painfully.
Artemis slowly walked up to Holly and kneeled down to meet her height, his eyes filled with determination. "Holly, I know there is a solution to this. so tell me." He slowly took her hand and set it on his shoulder. Holly found this a little bit awkward but at the same time, it seemed normal. But Artemis gaining the habits of a werewolf should not be considered "normal." The normal Artemis would not be easily taken aback by his own actions and beg for forgiveness right away.
"The only way you can get rid of the curse is to kill the one who bit you. No one else can or else the curse will remain forever until death." Holly said, looking down in disbelief. Artemis looked as if he were to bend his ears in disbelief, but he didn't let this sorrow continue for long. "If that is the only way, then so be it." He stared into her eyes, fearless.
INTERMISSION
Later, in the kitchen
Butler had just finished cooking bacon and fried over medium eggs for breakfast, with a side of buttered toast. I hope Artemis is alright. Knowing Holly he'll be just fine, but this is bad since I just left him in there. He was hurt and I couldn't do anything. How pathetic. Butler thought to himself. Artemis and Holly came down the stairs, Artemis wearing a focused look on his face. Kill the one who bit me? Hah! I'm too weak to do such a thing, I'm a genius, not a fighter! This sounds a lot like revenge to me. Artemis thought, but to his surprise, revenge sounded good!
The smell of eggs made Artemis disgusted, but the smell of bacon nearly had him panting. He sat at the table next to Holly, Butler handed them their plates and washed the pots and pans he was using. As Artemis picked up the silverware he dropped it with a loud yelp. This, of course, caught Holly and Butler's attention. Butler rushed to Artemis' side and checked his hand. It was slightly burned. "Artemis, what happened?" Butler asked, also demanding. "It's the d'arviting silverware!" Holly whispered to herself, but of course, Artemis heard too. "I'm going outside." He said, aggressively which was rare to hear from him.
"Artemis you shouldn't go out there by yourself! Especially what happened-" "Does it look like I care!?" Artemis snapped, his brow furrowed and his sharp teeth clenched and slam the front door behind him. Holly turned to Butler as in saying 'I'll go watch him.' and followed but this time with her wings on.
Artemis walked across the field of grass, frustrated that he has to deal with these types of situations. He soon feels guilty of having to go off at Butler like that. All of a sudden, his ear twitched, he rose his head in alert and sniffed the air. It was a rabbit! This would be a lot simple then ridiculously eating with hands in front of others. He dropped down into a crouch, following the scent and when he saw the rabbit, he morphed into the beast he feared of becoming. A werewolf.
In the distance, Holly watched, her mouth agape, her eyes wide with shock. She felt like running away, crying for help, but no. She just sat on the roof of the manor, watching her friend get effected by the feral insticts of a wolf.
