Harry was walking down the path towards Hagrid's hut. It had been a long day and all he wanted to do was walk in the forest a little and then meet up with Hagrid. He needed to calm his nerves after his huge fight with Ron not too long ago.
As he walked into the Forbidden Forest, a sudden aura had surrounded him. It was tense, but not so alarming at the same time. Feeling this atmospheric change, Harry drew his wand from his pocket. He pointed his wand in front of him for protection.
Snap!
He whipped around, pointing his wand towards the noise of the sound. Harry gripped his wand tightly in his hand as he swallowed nervously, licking his lips, looking around for the source of the noise.
"Who's there!?" Harry asked, "Show yourself!"
The demand was enough for this person to walk into his presence. Harry stepped back a bit as this person's aura was strong and it had made Harry afraid.
"Well well well," The person spoke softly, "Look who we have here."
"Who are you?" Harry demanded, pointing his wand at the boy in case he had to protect himself.
"There's no need for introductions," The boy spoke.
His tone of voice, it was soft like velvet. Harry shivered as their voice had sent chills down his spine. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
"No need to be afraid my boy," The boy spoke again, making Harry step back again, pointing his wand at him again.
"I'm not afraid to use this!" Harry spoke calmly to his surprise as he pointed the wand at the person again.
"You wouldn't dare."
"Oh, I would," Harry spoke, "Levicorpus!"
The boy had moved out of the way of the spell and a bunny behind him had raised in the air and was roughly dropped onto the ground. Harry gritted his teeth as he saw what had just happened.
The boy smirked and pinned Harry to a tree roughly. Harry's wand fell out of his hand as the force from the other boy caused him to drop it. Harry was now defenseless.
The boy had pushed the side of Harry's head against the trunk of the tree, sniffing Harry's neck. The boy smirked and quickly struck his fangs into Harry's soft skin like a snake attacking it's victim. Harry gasped as he felt the boy drinking his blood, a sucking sensation being felt where the boy bit him.
Harry grew limp, falling to the ground. The boy caught him and bit his wrist, forcing Harry to drink some of his blood. He then healed his wrist and left Harry alone in the woods, placing the boy's wand in his limp hand. He then strode off into the forest.
Harry woke up, slowly sitting up, squinting as the sun was shining brightly in his face. He gasped as it felt like the sun was burning him. He went into the shade where the sun wasn't bothering him so much. It felt strange to Harry. Usually the sun wasn't this bright. Nor did the sun give you a sun burn constantly.
He gripped his wand, standing up. He waited till the sun went behind some clouds to head back into the castle. He went back to the dorm, putting his wand in his, sitting on the bed. He felt an uncontrollable feeling of hunger creeping inside of him. It wasn't a normal hunger though. It was almost ravenous, uncontrollable. It was like the first person to walk into the room would be attacked.
Ron had walked into the boys dormitory, noticing Harry sitting on his bed, staring at the wall.
"You 'lright mate?" Ron questioned, sitting beside Harry.
"Yeah, I'm fine Ron," Harry replied.
Truthfully, Harry wasn't feeling the greatest. He wanted to attack Ron at this very moment, but he knew he couldn't. He couldn't lose a friend or get in trouble for it.
Hermione had burst into the boys dormitory, not caring if she got caught.
"Hermione, what are you doing in here!?" Ron sputtered.
"Harry are you alright?" Hermione asked, "You're looking quite pale."
Harry knew she'd find out about this eventually. Maybe she already knew. Hermione pulled Harry into the empty corridor.
"Harry!" Hermione exclaimed, "You were attacked weren't you? I see the bite mark on your neck!"
"Blimey Hermione!" Harry mumbled, "How did you know?"
"I noticed the way you walked in here and I saw that bite on your neck," Hermione explained, "That was a vampire bite."
Harry nodded, looking around as he wanted to distract himself from the unbearable hunger he was feeling. Hermione had taken notice of this and pulled him into the empty girls dormitory.
"Alohamora," Hermione spoke, pointing her wand at the girl dormitory doors, locking it.
She put her wand back in her pocket, now focusing on Harry. She had pulled Harry on top of her and onto her bed.
"Hermione, this seems like a bad idea," Harry implied.
"Harry, you need it," Hermione insisted, "I can tell you're hungry. You're really pale."
Harry sighed, gasping as he felt a sharp pain in his mouth, his canines elongating into fangs. Hermione was right. He did need it. He needed blood, and there was Hermione right below him. He couldn't bare it any longer. He pinned Hermione's arms above her head gently, biting into her neck. He could feel her sweet blood flowing into his mouth, running down his throat, soothing the burning sensation that was once there. He had pulled away, wiping away Hermione's tears, patching up her neck.
Hermione got up and so did Harry. Both of them left the girls dormitory, heading to Ron to tell him what had happened to Harry.
