Even though I'm still short on characters, let's do this.
Chapter 2: Lightning and Thunder
It was a stormy night. Everything had fallen pitch dark, and the thunder raged, everywhere. The group had set up a camp on the beach, using wood, leaves, and some sticks. The fort held up alright, but was highly weakened by the water. They woke up in the warm sunlight, on a wet beach after the storm. They were hungry, but luckily, it was only the second night, so there was still plenty of food up for grabs. They all split up to different areas and tried to find their own foods. Splash ran into the forest to hunt for berries, Maya went across to the fields to grab some rice, from the rice crops, and Faith grabbed some ingredients to make some spicy curry. They all sat around the camp, eating their respective foods. The sky, again started to darken up, when a creature came out of the water. All they could see was two blue fins, outlined in red. There was a whirlpool stirring up, and it started to rain. The group didn't know what to do, but when they made up their mind to run into the forest, it was too late. The creature ended up being a Kyogre, which roared, and summoned more rain. It floated above the water, and gave the group a disapproving look. Luckily, when Kyogre had its back turned, Faith was able to disguise everyone as a bush, which confused the legendary pokemon. It shook its head, and dove back into the water. The storm ended, and everyone came out.
"What in the name of Lord Helix was that?!" Splash asked, very confused.
"That was the legendary of the sea, Kyogre." Faith answered. "Is everyone alright?" The others nodded, in response, and it had fallen nighttime already, at least they thought so. The sky was just very dark, but it was still evening. The reason why? Well there could be another legendary haunting the island, wanting them dead. But this won't affect them for the next couple nights, so the group just went to sleep. When they woke up, it was bright and early, and they were ready for another day of hard work. Well, maybe not Maya, who was still asleep, and didn't like trying hard. Faith and Splash went into the forest for supplies, and stocked up on some wood, and berries. What they didn't know is, Splash had touched some poison ivy, while walking through the forest, and it didn't take long for it to take effect.
"Guys, I'm feeling a bit itchy." Splash said, vigorously scratching his body. Splash was actually lucky, he didn't get the rare conditions of poison ivy, which can cause low blood pressure, and heart issues, but unfortunately for him, he couldn't sleep at night, meaning he was short on sleep the next day. Luckily, Faith knew a bit about medications, and made a cure for Splash, which worked like a charm. Splash spent the day catching up on sleep, and they didn't really do much that day. On the last day of this chapter, Splash was feeling back to normal, and they convinced Maya to go on an adventure in the forest. They could some mountains on the other side of the forest, and wanted to check it out. Luckily, there was no poisonous plants this time, but Faith did get here hand caught in a flytrap, but luckily escaped by killing the plant. She bled a little bit, but nothing severe, and by the time they reached the mountains, it was gone. They started hiking straight up the mountain, when Maya was leading the group up, and almost got killed by a Rockslide, but was able to get to the side, just in time. Eventually the mountains started getting too dangerous, with some poisonous fog covering the top. However, it wasn't a total waste of time, because they found some valuable resources in a cave, in the mountains. They found some iron and steel, which they could use to make weapons and defend themselves. They walked back to the camp, melted down the metals, and left it over the fire to keep hot. Then they ate some food, and slept
