Chapter 4: The Full Moon

The skies were clear, and the moon was bright. A new member had entered the island. A young Timburr, by the name of Jayce. He was an excellent builder and craftsman, who carried a more serious attitude. He ended up landing on the beach, out of range of the group, but still near them.

Jayce's POV

I woke up to a the clear night sky. I was confused, but shook it off. I went into the forest to find some grub, when I spotted a group of other pokemon. All I could see was a dark figure with long hair, a weird mouth, and a blue figure. I decided to scout the area, and after 15 minutes of nothing, I decided to approach the group, and ask for help. I walked up to them, carrying some wood, and introduced myself. They actually were nice, and invited me to their crappy camp, which consisted of a poorly built wooden roof over there head, and a fire with some logs around it. I figured it was better than nothing, and accepted. After they fed me, I figured I could pay them back, and upgraded their roof, with reinforced support beams, and also added some nails I had in my pocket, just to keep everything secure. I figured that I should call it a night, and went to sleep on one of the logs.

Morning, Narrator's POV

The fire was put out, and the sun was bright. Jayce was the first one to wake up, and immediately getting to work, by crafting an axe out of the wood the group stored, and going to the forest to chop some more lumber down. Eventually, when Jayce came back, at around 8 am, the group had waken up, and they ate breakfast together. They started getting low on resources, so they split up. Faith and Jayce went to the forest, and collected water at a stream they had been using, while Maya and Splash went across the river/ocean to the fields, and collected some crops growing, such as corn, wheat, and rice. They grouped back up, full of supplies, and lit a fire. It was a full moon, which is pretty yes, but also means it's another legendary attack (on this island full moons are every week, rather than month) and the legendary this time, was Darkrai, the king of nightmares and darkness. While they were around the fire chatting, Darkrai started putting them to sleep with his Dark Void, one by one. After everyone fell unconscious, Darkrai started entering their minds, and giving them crazy nightmares, which would make them go slowly insane. The nightmares kicked in about 10 minutes after Darkrai left, waking them up, and having them go crazy. They started doing insane things, such as running around with weapons and killing random wild animals, and other things of the same nature

It was all going downhill, when Faith went into a water, and found a Lunar Wing. This could be used to summon Cresselia, and fix their nightmares. Luckily, she knew what it was, and used it, and Cresselia fixed their brains back to normal. Sadly for the group, for the 30 minutes they were just going berserk, they nearly emptied the river, and the fish couldn't sit around for too long, or it would rot. The same thing happened to the forest, however less severe. They slept through the night, all the way to the morning...

Morning

They started cooking the food, right away, eating as much as they could to make sure it didn't rot.

"What should we do today?" Splash asked, eager to do something fun.

"How about we take it easy today, and take a dip in the water?" Faith suggested. The others agreed, and after eating a little more, they all swam in the water. What they didn't know, is the blood wasn't all the way cleared from the water, and they got poisoned. It wasn't any severe poison (that's for later) but it's still poison, and it would hurt them. Faith went into the forest to look for a cure. While exploring she found a chest, but she needed a key. Without much options she told the gang, and they went to go look for the key. After about an hour of nothing, they eventually came back to the camp for a break, but on the way back, Maya tripped on a metal object which was a key! She brought the key back to the camp, and they opened the chest at camp, which turned out to be some antidotes. They used them, and a Faith let out a sigh of relief, and everyone was fine. It was another one of Giratina's plans to kill them foiled. The group was lucky to have met Cresselia, because what they don't know is Cresselia is helping them stay alive. It has been 3 days since the last full moon, meaning they have 4 days to get ready until the next attack...
