Ruby is a child of prophecy, mother made one(poetic variant), squid guards powerful magic artefact that she uses later to help harry defeat Voldy and make way back to Remnant, knowing Magic.

The redhead awoke to a strange sight. In front of her, was… her. She didn't know how, but she stood, silent by some unknowable rule, watching herself as she learned to walk, followed by running, her mother's death, her semblance, Qrow, Yang and the red wagon, Grimm, the training that followed, Her mind-child Crescent Rose, upgrading her, cleaning her, polishing, oiling, Roman and the Dust shop, Glynda, Beacon, Weiss, Blake, Cinder and Taurus, the dragon, and Pyrrha. Pyrrha, who so loved Beacon, her home where she was finally treated like a person, not a hero. Pyrrha who walked into a certain death situation. If only she'd been faster, she'd have come out alive. Poor Pyrrha, her victory over Cinder a pyrrhic victory at best. But enough reminiscing. What's going on right now? Ruby looked around, finally attempting to view her surroundings. Black, black, black, doorway, black, wait doorway? Ruby craned her neck, noticing that her body is apparently transparent. Ghostly. Ruby stepped up, forcing her body to move, which it really didn't want to do, and walked to the doorway. As she moved, she noticed a light on the other side. Life. light. A doorway away from the light, or the light? Well, death is typically somehow related to light, so does that mean she's dead? Or that she was almost dead. Approach the light, and likely pass on, or see what a second chance could give. Cinder needs to fall, no pun intended, but Ruby couldn't do it like this. Second chance it is. Ruby stepped through the doorway, light filling her vision and darkness encroaching mere seconds after. Ruby opened her eyes. "Where… am I?" she said, a shiver running through her body involuntarily. "OH MY! Who did this to you? Are you hurt? Did you remember anything?" Ruby sat up, looking into the apparently worried eyes of an old man. "Who're you?" she asked, not knowing what's going on. He shrugged. "My name is Xenophilious Lovegood. We must get you to a hospital, we have no Idea what has happened to you!" he said, ushering her up and dragging her off. It was at this point that Ruby realized that she was completely bare. Nothing except her hair, nearly triple the length she remembered it as, covered her. "Oh. Hey Mister Lovegood, do you have any cloaks or covers? I imagine that nudity is as disliked here as it was back home." Hey she's a Huntress. They need to be able to tolerate many things, and that includes being found nude. Aura doesn't protect your clothes from the damage Grimm can do. Lovegood nodded, shrugging off his overcoat, which was large enough to cover her completely, and offered it to her as they walked. Soon, a town came into sight, and they made their way to a building near the center, Xeno muttering the entire time. Ruby pulled it tighter around herself. Being nude in a big city with hundreds of people is different than being nude in the forest seen by one. Ruby shot a grateful smile to the man, who she couldn't pronounce the name of, and walked in, noting immediately all the exits and potential weapons, targets, enemies, and hostages. Huntress training goes hard. She pushed the memories of how she died and came here into the back of her mind, covering them with thoughts of cookies and milk, and Crescent Rose. Ruby smiled to herself. Maybe wherever she was is close to Vale. "Hey mister Lovegood, how far are we from Vale? I need to get back to Beacon Academy." He looked confused. "Miss, I don't know what Vale is, nor do I recognize Beacon."
