24. Afterword

This is not written by the original author, but by me, TheArchivist.

And so, this is the end of our shortlived journey together. But, that doesn't mean your journey with fanfiction is over. Harry Potter / Dragon Ball Z isn't the most popular crossover section, but dammit, it's our crossover section. Going back through and digging up these old stories has given me a true idea of the essence of fanfiction, and with the knowledge of that essence, I have one thing to say.

If ANY of you wants to write, write. Write for yourself or write for others, but it's better to write than not to. Even if you think your writing is bad, people will be there to help you improve, that's what the reviews are for. Just look at these stories, the original author vastly improved in a relatively short amount of time, this story was published only a month after the previous one, and the previous one was only a month after the first. Writing fanfiction is a good way to develop superior writing skills and probably improve your English marks for those of you still in school.

So, if you want to take anything away from this journey, try. Try with all your heart, just write something you want to write and put it up for people to see.
