Kristoff and Anna leisurely made their way back to the Arendellian campsite, never once letting go of each other. No words were spoken between the two on the journey, but it wasn't a heavy silence; it was the kind of silence that brought them closer together.

"Your majesty! Kristoff! We're so glad you're back safe!"

Kristoff gave a nod to Bulda, leading the princess to a quiet place so she could rest. He was about to leave, but Anna grabbed onto his wrist before he could.

"Stay with me?" she begged, staring into his auburn eyes pleadingly. The blond mountaineer conceded, sitting down next to her.

"I'm sorry," Anna mumbled, her gaze falling to the floor. "I just can't accept that they're gone."

Kristoff ran his hand down her hair and sighed. "It's hard for me as well, but babe, we have an entire kingdom depending on us. You can't forget that."

Anna looked up in surprise at Kristoff's words. "We?"

"Now or never," the blond thought. He pulled out his engagement ring and held it out to her. "Anna? You don't have to go through all this pain and responsibility on your own; let me help you, let me be there for you, let me love you. Will you marry me?"

Anna teared up, covering her mouth with her hand. "Yes! I'd love to!"

-Ten years later-

"Mama? Tell me again about Auntie Elsa and Olaf the snowman?"

Anna shook her head, picking up the blond haired, blue eyed girl of four and placing her gently in bed. "Not tonight sweetie. Now go to sleep, tomorrow is a new day."

"There're my special girls!"

Anna giggled as Kristoff bounded through the open door and captured her in a hug from behind, reaching down to kiss his daughter on the forehead.

"Kristoff! She's got to go to sleep!"

The king of Arendelle gave a faux sigh and slumped. "Fine… Sleep tight my little princess. See you in the morning."

"G'night daddy!"

Anna and Kristoff quietly left the little girl's room and went back to their own.

"I like the new Arendelle," Anna remarked, leaning on her husband's shoulder as they walked. "I couldn't have done it without you; I love you so much."

Kristoff kissed her forehead, giving his best smile. "I love you too, dear."
