History. After my first class I decided that I need to make sure that Joe knew that I wasn't here because my parents sent me. Walking into my history class I spotted Zach sat at the back but his friends were sat at the front. I stopped at the door as I looked at him. He caught my eye and I sent him my warmest of smiles. He just continued to stare at me. I walked towards the back of the room and sat down few seats away from Zach. He had obviously sat at the back instead of with his friends to have a better view of the room and me.

My Uncle Joe entered the room with a few more students following in shortly after. He started writing on the board behind him.

"Class Project: Family Tree"

I sighed as I read what he had written. This was going to be fun and he knew it. He turned back to face his class when he was finished and smiled at everyone. He didn't even flinch when he saw me sat at the back. He had obviously looked at his class sheets and realised I was taking all of his classes.

"For this project you will be paired up," He announced to the class. Everyone then started asking each other if they wanted to be partners, "I will decide who you are paired with," Everyone moaned as they waited to be assigned their partner. He went around pairing people with those sat near them already. He reached the back of the room and looked at me and then Zach. I knew what was coming.

"Zach and Cammie, you will be partnered together," He turned around after pairing the last couple of people up and then went back to his desk. Everyone moved so that they were now sat next to their project partner. Zach stood and took the seat on my right without looking at me.

"For this project you will be creating your family tree, however instead of writing your own you will be writing your partners. You have 2 weeks to complete the project by getting to know each other. Asking questions and putting together what you believe your partners family tree to look like. I don't expect it to get as far as great great grandparents but I want to see Aunts and Uncles and cousins and as many family members as you can," Everyone started mumbling and jotting down notes in their books as he continued you speak.

"I expect you to take this project seriously, it might seem like an easy task but this project recreates what you would have to do if you were doing research on the history of a past King or Queen," He lent back on his desk as he looked at all his students, "You can start working on your project now for the rest of class," he finished and then went as sat down at his desk and started typing on his computer. I sat and watched him as Zach made no move to start the project. Joe kept shifting his eyes to us every now and then.

Soon the bell rung and everyone started packing up and leaving the class. I stayed were I as and I could now feel Zach's eyes piercing the side of my head. Joe stood up and walked towards us and stopped a few seats in front. No one said anything. Everyone else had already left the classroom by now and all you could hear was steady breathing. They were both staring at me and I sat back in my seat feeling slightly uncomfortable. I put m hands in my jacket pockets and I could see Joe trying to hold back a smile.

"Never been good with having eyes on you have you Cameron," Uncle Joe said folding his arms as he watched me shift in my seat.

"Who are you?" Zach asked before I could reply. I glanced in his direction then back at my Uncle Joe.

"That is non of your business," My tone dripping with hatred. He glared at me and looked at Joe.

"What are you doing here Cameron?" My uncle Joe sighed shaking his head at my reaction to Zach.

"I need your help," I looked him right in the eye as I said it before standing, grabbing my bag and heading for my last class of the day.

In gym Uncle Joe came in looking slightly confused with Zach close behind him asking him questions without pausing for breath. They both got changed and Zach went and stood with his friends. Joe grabbed his clipboard and started putting people into two teams. Zach was in the team opposite me with Grant and Macey and a few other students and on my side Bex, Liz and Jonas stood with a few other students.

"Right we are going to play a game that I call the Chameleon," Joe announced to everyone. My head snapped to look at him watching as he spoke.

"What's the game?" Someone shouted from behind Zach.

"It is basically a big game of hide and seek but instead of having one seeker you have two groups. A group that hides and a group that seeks. Now you will all have a tag tucked into the waist of your shorts and the aim of the seekers is to pull the tags from all of the hiders to get them out. When your tag has been pulled you must make your way back here. The seekers will also have tags and if the hiders pull the seekers tags they are then out and must also return here. The last team standing is the winner," Joe then started passing two different coloured pieces of material to be used as tags.

"Why do you call it the Chameleon if its just hide and seek?" Macey asked as she tucked the material into her shorts.

"I named it after a girl I knew who could blend into her surroundings and you wouldn't notice her unless you were looking extremely hard. I was very close with her and gave her the nickname The Chameleon because it was what she acted like every day," He was now looking at me dead in the eye as he finished speaking. I remembered the first time he gave me the nickname. I kept pranking him by disappearing and no matter how much he looked he wouldn't find me until I popped up next to him and scared him to death.

"Right the team that is hiding are with the red tags and the blue tags are the seekers," I looked at my red tag and smiled, "You can only hide in the forest behind the gym," With that we all ran off into the forest and split up.

I must admit it was a fun game. Within twenty minutes I had pulled 4 tags from the seekers team. That only left two more. I stood still next to a big tree and glanced around me. I saw movement to my left. Turning for a better look I saw Grant seeking up behind someone. I followed and got closer before pulling his tag as he pulled my teammates. They both sighed and started walking back to Joe in the gym. I followed them back to the gym to see how many people were left in the game.

"It's now one on one," Uncle Joe announced looking a little nervous. I looked around and saw that I was the last hider and that Zach was the last seeker. No wonder Joe looked nervous. I headed back deeper into the forest and waited. It wasn't long until I heard twigs breaking under someones foot. I slowly span on the spot looking to see if I could see him. I almost missed him. I span back and watched him move towards me. I started making a move to go around him and come up behind him. He hadn't spotted me yet. He stops to look around as I make my way up behind him and pull his tag as he starts to move again. I head back to Joe.

"You trained him well, but he's just not good enough," I whispered to Joe has I handed him all six tags I had gotten form the seekers team. Everyone that was on my team cheered as they found out that we had won. Zach comes into the gym not long after looking angry that he got beat. I notice Joe give him a small smile in reassurance as he walked over to his friends.

Class finished shortly after and before I could leave to get changed Uncle Joe approached me.

"I'm having some of Zach's friends over for dinner tonight, I would like it if you joined us," He sighed obviously still torn on why I need his help.

"I would love to, so how long has he been living with you?" I asked as we slowly walked towards the changing rooms with everyone else. I caught the look of shock on his face before he could hide it.

"So it was you that was in my house?" He shuck his head slightly before continuing, "Just over a year," he answered as we reached the changing rooms.

"Well I will see you tonight," I smiled at him.

"Seven o'clock," I heard him shout as I walked into the changing rooms. I get changed and realise that I can't wear what I had on for dinner and since I haven't had the time to wash my other outfit yet I had to buy a new one. I left the college grounds and headed into the town square. I sat down at the fountain and looked around.

I spotted a tall man wearing a grey suit that looked tailored and I could see the sparkling Rolex watch on his wrist from where I sat. I made my way over to him and spotted Zach and his friends walking into the square. I kept my head down and hood up as I bumped into the man and pulled his wallet from his pocket. I apologised to him before walking away and past Zach and his friends. They didn't seem to notice me.

Opening the wallet I pulled out a fifty and threw the wallet on the ground. Someone will find it and either return it or keep it for themselves. It wasn't my problem no more. I headed into the first shop I found and picked out a smart but casual outfit for dinner tonight. I got changed in the changing rooms and puled the tags and went to pay.

Dinner would be interesting that is for sure.
