SYOT open! The 130th Annual Hunger games are approaching. The arena is themed as a cold ocean, with ships surrounded all over it. The gamemakers have a lot of twists and turns this year! PM me to submit a tribute. 22/24 spots left.

2. The new arena

Zane Calken, 35, Head Gamemaker

It is almost time for hunger games season to start, and with that the new arena needs to be announced.

I am going to president Burney's mansion today, to mention the arena for this year's games.

I slide my card in, and the door opens. I am greeted by an avox, who takes me up to the meeting room. The red haired President is facing away from me, looking out the window. "Madam president? I come to speak of this year's arena." She slowly faces my way, and says, " The others have been waiting. " She pulls off a wicked smirk, and presses a button on a remote, that opens the wall and connects the others side of the table. She does this every year to tease me. Nobody even guesses, that for the past 5 years I've been having an affair with President Burney. Or as she likes me to call her, Jacinda. As usual, the other side of the big, wooden table, from district 7 , we have all the district mayors, and capitol government officials. "Please start Mr. Calken." I sit down, and start talking. "Well this years arena is very unique. It will be a cold dark ocean, with different vessels scattered around it. When the tributes go into their vessel, one will randomly sink at a time. They must find their liferaft as quickly as possible before it sinks. At the end of the arena, is the Titanic. I'm sure some of you remember it from, that time capsule, from before the nuclear war. Anyway, once all the survivors make it their, there will be a feast. After that the ship will slowly start to sink, and hopefully a Victor Will be crowned by then. Questions!" " Where will the cornucopia be? "" There is an island, with a cornucopia and a port with ships. If tributes decide to go away from cornucopia, the only way they can get food is, from secret stashes, sponsers, fish, or the titanic, which they might not make it to. They can only get weapons from, Sponsers, Titanic, or dead tributes. "

"How will they be able to actually kill each other?" " we will use toxic fog, and other stuff to lure the tributes store others. Also every now and then, we will anchor the ships in place, so other people can hijack their ship, and they can't get away. "

It took a lot of arguing, but mostly everyone voted yes for this arena. This year's hunger games are gonna be great!
