The next day, the whole school was talking about Akko's win in the race.
"I can't believe people think Akko won fairly," said Hannah as she, Barbara, and Diana sat in the library.
"Yeah, she definitely cheated somehow," said Barbara.
"The only thing Akko did was think up a way to win that no one ever thought of, that's it," said Diana as she got up from the table.
"How can she not be upset by this?" asked Hannah as they watched Diana head into the stacks.
"This spell could come in handy," said a voice from the next isle. When Diana looked through the row of books, she found Akko taking notes from one of the books.
"She's been studying so hard," thought Diana with a smile when she noticed how many pages Akko had written in the notebook.
"Why does my heart skip a beat when I see her?" thought Diana as she placed a hand to her heart. It was at this point that Lotte and Sucy came around the corner, noticing that Akko was also clutching her chest with a puzzled expression.
"We need to talk," whispered Lotte before dragging Sucy away.
"What was that about?" asked Sucy as Lotte had stopped far from anyone else.
"Did you let that Cupid Bee out again?" asked Lotte.
"No, but the two of them are definitely under a love spell," said Sucy, surprising Lotte.
