The next day, Akko and the girls were out on the training grounds, she and Diana were having a practice game.
"Murowa!" said Diana as she aimed the spell at Akko.
"Belga Vida!" said Akko. This sent Diana's own attack back at her, but she managed to dodge.
"Akko's doing great with her spells," said Constanze.
"Sure is," said Jasminka as she ate some potato chips.
"I still have a bad feeling about not telling them," said Lotte, who was a nervous wreck.
"Will you relax, the two of them will be fine," said Amanda.
"I think it's time to show you a spell you'll really be impressed with," said Akko with a big grin.
"Aegail!" said Akko, causing a large snake-like magical energy beam that slithered through the sky at Diana.
"That's not possible," said Diana who was too stunned to move.
"Diana!" said Akko as the platinum blond was blown backward by the spell. Everyone then ran to check on her.
"I… I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to… I didn't know it was that strong," said a panicked Akko.
"She'll be fine, Akko, our uniforms have boosted protection spells now, remember?" asked Sucy.
"Akko, how did you learn that spell?" asked Diana as she sat up.
"I remembered it from when your evil aunt and cousins used it on us, and practiced it over summer break along with my flying," said Akko.
"But that's not possible, only members of the Cavendish family can use that spell," said Diana as she got to her feet.
"I think they have an idea of what is going on here," said Hannah as she and Barbara pointed at the others. The two of them had been standing close enough to hear what they had been talking about.
