Ever since the fight Harry and Sebastian had been strangely quiet. There were no snide remarks or comments about her ability and it worried Layken.

"I want to know what they're up to."

"Huh?" Draco asked as he lifted his head from the desk.

The pair were sat in the library studying, well Draco had been sleeping, and Layken lost her concentration as she watched the boys sat with their friends, their heads all bent together over a large tome. Draco followed Layken's eye line and scowled when he spotted them.

"Why? They're probably just looking for some way to make their abnormally large heads larger." Draco rested his hand against his face as he turned to look at Layken.

"You may have a point." She smiled at him. "But they haven't made one snide comment or remark in a month, it's worrying."

"I wouldn't worry about them. Whatever they're up to it's probably some stupid thing for Dumbledore."

"Yeah you're probably right."

"Besides, I like you better when your smiling." Draco crooned, snaking his arm around her shoulders, a blush creeping up Layken's cheeks at his words.

She swatted his arm making Draco laugh, unfortunately drawing the attention of Harry and Sebastian as a loud scoff was heard across the library before echoes of "get a room" could be heard.

"You're just jealous Potter." Draco called to them.

"Hardly, I've seen better looking dogs dinners." Harry retorted.

Draco pushed forcefully out of his seat as Layken gripped his arm, pulling him back down.

"They're not worth it, just ignore them."

"I'll kill him." Draco seethed.

"They're trying to get a rise out of you." She said softly.

Raising her voice so it carried she continued, "He's just went and insulted himself Draco, he's forgetting I look like him."

Harry glared at them before slamming the tome shut and striding out of the library with it, the others following after him, sending glares their way as they went.

"I guess I spoke too soon. I miss when they wouldn't open their mouths." Layken sighed, lowering her head.

Draco put his fingers under her chin, tilting her head up to look at him. He smiled down at her and she smiled back up at him, butterflies pooling in her stomach.

"They're just jealous that they will never be as amazing as you."

"Anybody would think you have a crush on me with the way you talk Draco Malfoy." Layken teased.

Draco flicked her nose before retorting, "wouldn't you like to know."
