Zim just sits sadly on the couch, not even bothering with GIR dancing around the room with Bell trying to catch him.
After all he suffered, all his failures, after every time he kept trying to please his leaders, it was all a lie.
Everyone in Black Eden gave him a break after this, even Dr. X and Bell felt a little bad for him if her offering to get him some fast food was an indication. Zim politely declined, saying he need to get work done.
He just sat in his workbench all day mindlessly banging a hammer on a wooden table.
Months passed and they were ready to set off the prototype Project Tlalocan device (Or the Powerglass as Mojo Jojo coined) and had Bell go to the Moon to test it.
Bell asked Zim if he wanted to got to the moon and decided why not since he finished all his work early due to his unhealthy habit of tinkering when he's upset.
"Zimmy, are you sure you're okay?" Bell asked as they flew towards the moon in his Voot Scooter. Zim grimaced, he hated that nickname Bell kept calling him but he didn't get angry due to lack of interest.
"I'm fine, Bell." Zim said, unenthusiastically, "Just drop the prototype on the moon and let's go."
Bell slowly nodded still worried for Zim.
When they got to the moon and as Bell and GIR dropped out to deploy to the prototype, Zim noticed a small dark and light blue vortex in the distance.
Wordlessly, he activates the ships scanners, they showed that nearby rocks and dust rising from the moon coalesce and deform while being trapped in it, the molecular structure shifting and combining. The matter around the vortex then starts shifting to liquid, solid, and gas, some a mixture between two of the three.
It was like it was... warping everything around it.
He immediately decided to contact Dr. X. Said orange mutant appeared on the screens.
"Yes, Zim?" The doctor asks, "I'm busy with Vexus."
"Sir, look at what I've found." Zim says, while showing the scans to X.
The doctor's eyes widen as he takes off his glasses.
"Well, I'll be damned." He said, "This energy is shifting the molecular structure of everything it's coming in contact with. No. It's shifting the vectors of reality itself!"
Zim blinked, he didn't think that it would warren that kind of reaction from Dr. X.
"Zim, tell Bell to not-"
Bell then detonated the prototype. The Moon showered in streams of light, one slashing the rift in half.
It exploded in a display of blue and gold, barely visible to those on earth. The Voot Cruiser started to the rift as if it was falling from an unseen cliff.
"ZIM!" He heard Bell shout as she grabbed onto a part of the ship struggling greatly against the pull of the rift.
Zim knew he couldn't escape from this and he looks at her with a somber expression. Bell looked confused until she realized what he meant and soon mirrored his expression.
"Bell," He whispers, "Take care of GIR. Okay?"
"Sure, Zim." She says with tears in her eyes.
The piece she was gripping breaks off, sending Zim hurling into the rift with him screaming. He frantically presses all kinds of buttons on various screens, throwing all kinds of switches, the Voot Scooter allerion rolling* into the rift.
Zim then saw the inside of the rift, an unwinding and rewinding mixture of pigments lightening and darkening randomly intertwining in an ocean of light. He calmed down and slowly closed his eyes as he and his ship fall into the rift.
The rift closes in on itself as Bell has tears in her eyes at Zim's fate.
"Bell." Dr. X tells her sympathetically, "We can't stop now. All we can is push on."
Bell only nods tearfully, then flying back to the planet.
The Cluster Bot on the nearby satellite transmitted back to Earth, "No, No. That Bright Flash was just some swamp gas in a weather balloon reflected off some light from Venus."
The MIB agent answering, "Oh, why didn't you say so? That's a relief. I'll shut off the alarm?"
"Sure." The Cluster Bot confirmed, before looking to where the rift was, "Everything's just fine."
After what felt like an eternity of empty floating through the blue ethereal seas, the Voot Cruiser landed on what felt like a liquescent landscape, just stopping instead of crashing.
The Irken slowly crawled out of the barely intact ship, stumbling through the flowing yet solid ground.
"Gah!" Zim gripped his head, "What is-?"
All thoughts in Zim's head died as his eyes laid to the maze, it was sculpting with fog, describing a dream as it occurs, singing silently, painting with mist, and the like. It was impossible to think, yet there it was before his hapless sight.
Shapeless yet with structure, hardened yet with fluidity, each opening closing as quickly as it came like a sea of gaping suckering mouths. It changed consistently, sometimes fluidly, other times as a mass of rocks, cracking and breaking.
Suddenly, a massive artery-like tunnel extended from the maze to where Zim stood. The innards of it smooth as fine stone yet pulsed and flowed fluidly and organically.
Hesitantly, he travels down the passage, the passage itself furling back into the maze.
Zim walks out of the pathway, before his jaws nearly disconnected from his skull.
An enormous crystalline labyrinth dominates the landscape, a luminescent plane shimmering like a polished, mottled opal. Passages in this maze appear, dissolve, merge, split, and change direction seemingly at random.
In spite of the constantly shifting nature of the Architect of Fate's domain and the limited capacity of the mortal mind to perceive and comprehend it, the Irken who gazed into the crystalline substance that composes this maze saw more than light reflected and refracted in the fluctuating facets of the shining surfaces. He caught glimpses of fears, miseries, and hopes made visually manifest; dreams and nightmares; histories real and imagined; potential futures; images of torment, ecstasy, and despair; and abstract thoughts made momentarily concrete as pictures in the crystals.
Then he saw a dangling humanoid creature wandering aimlessly it eternally as miserable, insane shells of their former selves, forever tormented by ghastly visions, regrets over their mistakes and missed opportunities, and the hopes for a tomorrow that they will never realize.
The alien's feet gouges the floor with his steps only for the prints to sink and close. Zim picked up a flowing piece of the floor after witnessing this, it stretched and molded to his palpitations as if it was a touchable molten glass. He dropped it, the lump he molded it to sunk into the floor.
He spends hours, maybe days, constantly walking through the evershifting maze of gems and crystals in psychedelic form, whilst keeping track of his findings through a paper journal and a recorder in his PAK.
After what he believed to be 3 human months, he arrived at a clearing of nested gates, each one an entrance to the next with the furthest being unquenched in darkness.
Each time he entered the next gates was a toll on his mind as he was forced to contemplate an unfathomable complex riddle, some taking what he presumed to be days to answer.
After what he presumed to be a week and a half of thinking and calculating, Zim finally made it to the last gate. After a godless number of hours of solving the last riddle, he made it to a hallway of shifting and
The skin of Tzeentch crawls with constantly changing faces, leering at and mocking onlookers. As he speaks, these faces repeat his words with subtle but important differences, or provide a commentary that throws doubt upon his words. These lesser faces appear and disappear quickly, but the puckered visage of Tzeentch himself remains low down in his chest, so that head and body are one. From above Tzeentch's burning eyes spring two sweeping horns, the spiralling extremities of which crackle with arcane fire. The firmament surrounding Tzeentch is heavy with magic; it weaves like liquid smoke about his head, forming subtle and interwoven patterns. Forms of places and people appear in the smoke as Tzeentch contemplates their fate. Those who appear there will inevitably find their minds, bodies or destinies mutating into strange new forms, for none can come to Tzeentch's attention and remain untouched.
Zim slowly steps back at the shifting entity, his ruby eyes fearfully bulging, the antennae atop his head twitching and spasming with emotion.
"Hello/Greetings/Welcome, Zim."
"Um," Said alien gulped, "Hello, Lord Tzeentch."
"You wish to become Stronger/Faster/Smarter?" Tzeentch said, to the stunned alien, "Then let me be your Teacher/Scholar/Guider/Insighter."
Zim looked down nervously, before swallowing his fear and said, "Yes."
Tzeentch snapped a tentacled finger and clawed thumb.
A large bird-like creature flew to the god's hand, staring directly with flaming eyes and a beak filled with fangs.
The bird-like creature dissolved into a mess of blue, purple, and gold energy, shifting and weaving over itself. Many vestiges of random eyes, mouths, limbs, and organs quickly forming and unforming.
"It is yours, Zim. Take/Embrace/Consume/Integrate it."
Zim gulped nervously before steeling himself and reaching his hand to the orb.
After a few seconds, he crushes it.
Then his entire body erupted in that multicolored energy with a plume of blue flames, spiraling with screaming faces and horrid limbs forming and unforming in a sanguine sea of mutation.
As the flames extinguished, came the Daemon Prince that was Zim. He was 20 feet tall bipedal, coating with a ruby carapace of armored chitin, a spine-like stinger, four pairs of green membranous wings, and emerald insectoid eyes.
The insectoid screeched before the flame reignited for untold moments then extinguishing. Zim now looked as a 7 foot Irken, his uniform was more akin to a trench coat and was now blue with the mark of Tzeentch while his gloves and boots extended to his elbows and knees.
Zim looked in awe as Tzeentch spoke "Come, Zim. I have much to teach/imprint/program/impart you."
It had been weeks outside The Warp since Zim became Tzeentch's emissary, in said time, he taught, and was taught by, Tzeentch's sorcerers and alchemists. He made many discoveries about The Warp, including a way to make daemons of both flesh and warp. He coined them as Daemon Knights.
Zim's biology had also changed as he now had 7 miniature brains to focus on his work, his PAK had fused with his bones and internal organs making them techno-organic, and his squeedlyspooch has quadruplicated.
While he enjoyed The Warp's fascinating capabilities, he found himself missing Black Eden. After deciding what he needs to do, he started tinkering with a device to access the materium while working on an army for the Irken Empire. He was making the material for them first, heavily modified Cluster metal which in actually is a metamorphic nanotechnological material that can covert and integrate other metals and circuitry into itself. It's capable of limited self repair, but through Zim's modifications, it can self repair from practically any damage.
The software was quite different. Derived from the same Vortian liquid gear as the Santa Suit he made, the software acted as both a CPU and a power source with each 'cell' being a microscopic warp siphon.
The next thing was something very special, the Siphon of Armus. A massive pylon like the ones made by the Necrons on Cadia, only instead of nullifying the Warp's effects, it amplified them in the same manner a Dyson Sphere only hundreds of times more powerful. The Siphon itself was made of the same material as the modified Cluster metal along with the same software as his army.
After countless hours in his 'workshop', Zim was ready to make his move.
On the Massive, the Tallest were bored. They often argued over food and drink, while trolling Zim whenever he called but since he hasn't called in months. Suddenly, a flash blazed through the room.
"HELLO, MY TALLEST!" A familiar and dreaded voice filled the room. As the Irkens recovered from the flash, it showed Zim standing there with that damnable smirk on his face, only that he was very noticeably taller and his uniform was blue with an odd symbol.
"Zim." Red said both surprised and mad, "What happened to you?"
Zim simply smirked, "I've been places. Anyway, I've made something that'll leave our marks on the universe!"
Before anyone could ask what he meant, someone spoke up.
"Wait!" One of the workers said, "Is he taller than the Tallest?"
Zim and the Tallest blinked when another Irken took a device that scanned them both. He looked at the device and said, "Yep. He's two inches taller than them."
"Well," The Comms Officer said, "Because he is taller so, by technicality, he should be the new Tallest."
Red and Purple both look at each other with floored expressions, same with Zim.
"I-I'm the new Tallest?" Zim said, gleefully.
"It would appear so." said an Irken guard.
Zim could barely keep his composure at this, wanting to jump up and down happily.
Then a multitude of metal tentacles and plates pull outwards from the floor, a throne of Irken technology forms to Zim's liking.
Everyone stares before their gazes turn to the new Tallest.
Zim slowly walked towards and sat down on the newly formed throne, shuddering gleefully as it fits his tall body.
"Well, Emperor Z-Z-ZIM." Red nearly gagged saying that, "What do you have planned?"
"I have something that will show everything the power of The Irken Empire!" Zim yelled in utter triumph, before giving orders, "You! Prepare the engines! You! Inform the Armada! AND YOU! GET ME SOME PINK FROSTED SPINKLED DONUTS!"
The two former quickly do their commands while the latter races out to get the donuts.
"Zim!" Dr. X contacted, "Project Tlalocan is in place. Is the Siphon ready?"
Said emperor laid back in his throne, "Oh, Doctor, it was made ready."
He yelled, "Red! BEGIN!"
"FORWARD CANNONS NOW AT FULL POWER!" Red shouted, the Irken Cannon ships facing the Siphon of Armus.
Avatar of Tzeentch smiles sinisterly, "Wanna do it together?"
Zim grins manically, "It'd be my pleasure."
After a moment, everything in The Warp heard.
"GATE OF CHAOS! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!"
Spears of illuminance from the deepest sectors of The Warp lashed out in a unreachable pillar that pierced through the barriers that bound the Immaterium back from the Materium.
In that moment, the entire Milky Way galaxy blazed in searing light as the largest Warp Storm to ever exist was born. Countless planets vaporized in an instant, all black holes in the galaxy collapsing on themselves, entire stars bursting from the force its birth, and many species blinded from the brightness of the storm.
But not just this universe.
Dead or Alive:
Kasumi uncovered her eyes as the sudden light died down, only to gasp at the new sight.
A stream of multicolored swirling light with black misty tendrils around it streaked across the sky like a human being slashed in half.
She only with everyone else around her and around the planet only gape in shock with Bass saying the thing that they all thought.
"What the hell is that?"
Justice League Unlimited:
Superman jaw hung open.
Flash was flat on his back seeing the tear in reality.
Wonder Woman covered her mouth.

Green Lantern had to sit down from the gaping tear.
Hawkgirl was gripping her mace tightly in fear of the storm.
And Batman?
His eyes were widen with shock and said the obvious, "This can't be good."
The rest of the heroes were in similar states. Some fell unconscious from the storm, others were gripping thing and partners and/or lovers for comfort.
In the Lexcorp tower, Lex Luthor stared impassively, then his eyes glowed blue leaking blue mist.
"So, that insect finally did it."
Fairy Tail:
Natsu and Lucy both held each other as they see the swirling hole of color and darkness.
The other guilds look on in shock and horror as the hole reddens the sky like a second sun, while Zeref and Mavis look on in fear with Mavis clutching Zeref's arm.
Naruto:
Naruto held his wife and children close as did most people as they saw the coming storm. The others in the elemental nation all felt an absurd surge of emotions as dust and stone from the moon slowly rises upward to the technicolored scar.
Mass Effect:
In The Citadel, everyone was in a panic, many scrambling to contacted their homeworlds and to organize their forces.
"We're getting massive surges of energy from that rift!" A salarian technician said, "Nearby dwarf planets and asteroids are being pulled into it!"
"Order all fleets to avoid the rift at all costs!" A Turian commander yelled to his subordinates.
Meanwhile, Commander Shepard and his group stare in shock at the gaping storm, the innards of it akin to a shifting maw of many rowed teeth.
Claymore:
Clare and Raki stare up at the bleeding sky with awe and fear respectively.
The Abyssal Ones and the members of The Organization stare up at to the sky in awe of the lights.
Doom:
The Doomslayer stares at the rift with a surprised look under him helmet before glaring in absolute hatred for destroying all the demons that were meant to be his victims.
Running at speeds no normal man could reach, he jumped off the asteroid he was on, diving straight into the rift.
Dresden Files:
Harry Dresden and the other wizards look skyward at the multicolored maw-like rift. Tendrils of pink, blue, red, and green flowed downwards to the earth spasticity in a serpentine fashion.
Mr. Dresden only had one thing to say.
"Shit."
Evangelion:
Shinji Ikari screamed as Unit 01 fell down to the earth. The sudden blast reduced the Mass Produced Evangelions to shreds, destroying their cores in the process. The crew in NERV command watch in astonishment and fear at the tear in reality, Misato looks in shock as she sees it from the monitors.
Underneath the Geofront, The Black Egg cracks while Gendo, Ritsuko, and Rei stare in disbelief as Lilith fell away as her cross broke.
Queen's Blade:
The Vance sisters and all their allies look on in trepidation to the skies at the dimensional scar flaring and blazing with myriads of colors and emotions. The Swamp Witch and her disciples watch but with joy and celebration while their eyes grow pink and purple.
Worm:
The explosion blew apart Scion as he attempted to reach other worlds. The fragments of gold fell from the sky as parahumans of all kinds of form and morality stare in fear at this thing tearing the sky.
Akame Ga Kill:
Emperor Makoto clung to Prime Minister Honest as the rift devastates nearby landscapes, The Jaegers and Wild Hunt staring fearfully at the coalescing colors and storms of dust and earth.
The Revolutionary Army headquarter was devastated by the storms, those who evacuated along with Night Raid could only stare in terror at the rift.
SCP Foundation:
The Foundation, the Global Occult Coalition, Horizon Initiative, Anderson Robotics, the Church of the Second Hytoth, the Three Moons Inititive, and The Church of the Broken God gave everything they had to rage back against the hordes of Chaos. The Sarkic Cults, The Daevites, and The Fifth Church entered the rift, joining the Chaos Gods.
Entire continents blazed as the grounds flood in flames and bullet casings, 682 grew to immense sizes devouring entire legions of daemons, 096 rips many Chaos Space Marines into ribbons with his bare hands, Able was having the time of his life, punching, stabbing, slicing, and bludgeoning any and all Daemon Princes he saw. All MTFs and GOC Agents were mobilized, equipped with exoskeletons made by the Church, Tau-5 was put in charge of the Church's armies due to their cybernetic nature, and reigned down bullet hell, laserfire, and torrents of lightning to the hordes.
After the hordes were defeated, the five factions made Protocol: 666-1801 "Hell Shall Not Reign", in case they come back.
Meanwhile, Dr. Clef designated the rift as SCP-5000: The Gate of Hell.
Back to the main story:
"YYYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS!" Zim yells at seeing his greatest creation, "BEHOLD! THE MAW OF ANNIHILATION!"
The Maw was seen by almost everything in the Multiverse. An immensurable tear in space, a storm of blackness surrounded a jagged slash of colors overlapping and intertwining, spasming tendrils expanding and contracting like the incessant motion of a millions hearts beating unsynchronized. Further in the seizuring rift, a sphere of ebony and ivory held by strings of gold glazed its light across the world, letting the people hear the voice of their new god.
On The Massive, Zim laughed like he had just got everything, and in a way he did.
"Let our- no, MY rule commence!" He said as a mechanical tentacle appeared with a microphone, Zim cleared his throat.
"PEOPLE OF THE UNIVERSE." Zim's voice was changed to a deep bellowing of a million voices. Then everyone stopped and listened.
"WE ARE THE FORCES OF CHAOS. WE ARE YOUR FEARS, DREAMS, AND NIGHTMARES INCARNATED."
Jack and Honeydew stared up at the Maw, the latter clinging to the former.
"WE HAVE CHOSEN YOUR WORLD FOR US TO RULE, TO MOLD IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM WE CHOOSE."
The Powerpuff Girls and The Rowdyruff Boys looked to the sky seeing the paradoxing and paralleling lights.
"IF YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN DEFEAT US, THEN PLAY YOUR GAMES IF YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN."
Black Eden and The Darkstar Council stare up at the Maw, impressed at what Zim had accomplished.
"BUT KNOW THIS, YOU EXIST BECAUSE WE ALLOW IT. AND YOU WILL SUBMIT BECAUSE WE DEMAND IT."
Dib watched terrified, his worst nightmare come true in the most horrific way possible. "ZIM..." He gritted his teeth.
"WE ARE ENERGY. WE ARE MATTER. WE ARE SPACE. WE ARE TIME. AND OUR TIME IS NOW."
The rest of the people can only despair as they weight of the voice's words crushes their hopes.
"LONG LIVE THE GODS OF CHAOS!"
As the booming voice fades, every scientist and hero swallowed their fear and became determined to understand and stop this threat respectively.
In The Massive, the microphone retracted into the floor
"IRKEN EMPIRE!" Zim yells, "TO THE WARP!"
(Invader Zim OST- Theme Song)
The Irken Armada slowly phalanxes into the Maw, streams of magmic colors and cloud of liquid rock festers through the skies, masses of stone form and unform at the mere blink of an eye, coalescing storms of light and dark.
"And so it came to pass, universe after universe came to the embrace of Chaos. There I stood as Master of All, with the multiverse at my hands. And I thought it good."
"Very impressive." A voice said behind him.
Zim turned around startled, as did most of the Irkens in the room.
It was a human woman but with inhuman pigments. Her skin was charcoal black with her hair and eyes a deep crimson, her robes decorated with bones and relics, with the eight pointed star of Chaos on her backside.
The Irken Emperor sneered, he knew this woman.
"Who let her enter?!" Zim shout to his servants, one who shouts back terrified, "No one, sir! She just appeared!"
Zim let out a seething breathe, "What do you want, Mandy?"
"The Black One has ordered all followers of Chaos to the lands of The Undivided." Mandy said, her voice monotone and unfeeling, "Now that you completed Phase 1, we are ready to branch out further than ever."
"Hmh." Zim huffed, "Fine. Tell Black Hat I'll entertain his little itch."
