Pop Pop walked in with the phone on Facetime showing the twins and her nana at their home. Liv couldn't hold her tears, " Hi my babies. I've missed you. I love you sooooooo much my babies. Hi Nana, how have they been?"
"They've been good but Lord knows they missed their mama something terrible and I have too. I'm so grateful to God that my babygirl is safe. How are you?"
"I'm doing okay. Just waiting for the doctor to give me my results so I can leave. First I have to go check on Jake and Matt."
"What happened to Matthew?"
"He was shot in the crossfire of me being rescued."
"Oh I know Liz and Eric are beyond right now. Let me call them and I'll see you when you get home okay."
"Okay let me see my babies one more time. Mommy is coming okay Caleb and Cam. I'll see you soon." The phone hung up and the doctor walked in.
"Hey Liv your vitals are okay. We've rehydrated your body and we need you to stay off of your feet for about 3 days. Any strenuous activity is prohibited. Let Fitz take care of the bottles and things for the twins. You can feed them and change them but no excessive walking. Only for the bathroom or if you need to. For the first few days I need you to eat very light foods such as noodle soups, crackers, and broth. Specifically start off with the broths then you can gradually add in the soups, then some toast. Make sure you drink plenty, PLENTY of water. I will go and get your release forms so you can sign them. Any questions?"
"How long will this diet last?" Pop Pop asked.
"It shouldn't last that long. Being that she was only kidnapped and refusing food and drinks for a couple of days the damages aren't that bad." Doc answered.
"Thanks Doc" Pop Pop said.

"Hey baby, I can't believe we're here right now. I'm so looking forward to our date Garnett. I need you to wake up. That day I met you my heart stopped, your beauty had me in awe. I never told you this but I spotted you before you spoke to me. You looked soooo handsome, I was actually nervous when you came up and spoke to me. The girls have been asking about you and they want to see you. I told them you weren't feeling to well but you'll come around." Savannah whispered with tears in her eyes.
He groaned back while moving his hand trying to speak but he couldn't.
"Oh My God Matthew! Baby I love you." Savi yelled while kissing his face and then she gasped once she realized what she said. He smiled at her shocked face.
"Matthew, Oh My World! My baby is up! I missed you." Liz yelled while enveloping him with kisses and hugs.
They both ran out to get the doctor while his father came in with tears of joy. " Hey son. I don't even have words to explain how I feel because I'm more than happy, excited, relieved or joyful. I love you and I'm happy that you're alive." He came and hugged him and kissed him on his forehead.
"Mr. Garnett I'm happy you're up. You had a difficult time coming out of surgery but you fought for your family. So we did have to operate on your abdomen because that's where the bullet hit you which in return cause the blood to come up through your throat and out of your mouth. I know that's very hard to hear but you made it through. I can tell you the road to recovery is not going to be extremely difficult seeing as there is no permanent damage to your insides but you must be very cautious with your movement and your food. I have listed foods you can eat and those to absolutely stay away from including anything fried or drowned in butter. At least for right now, certainly no junkfood of any sort. You are allowed to eat broth only for at least a week and drink only water. "
"Broth? A WEEK?! Damn" He said after he drunk some water.
"Matthew watch your mouth now hear." Nana said on Facetime.
"Sorry Nana. Good to see you." He said
Doc chuckled and said, " If that will be all I will be back to take you for testing. Hopefully by Friday being the earliest or Sunday being the latest you'll be able to go home." He then left out.
"Friday or Sunday, are you kidding me? Its literally Tuesday right now and I'll probably have to stay for the rest of the week. Thats ridiculous." Matt complained.
"Mattie please listen to the doctor you have to get well soon." Savi said to him.
"Yeah listen to your girlfriend Mattie." Tracee teased. Both of their parents and Nana responded, "Girlfriend?!"
"Oh Shit" Savi said.
"Savannah" Nana said in that no nonsense tone.
"Sorry Nana" Savi said.
"Matthew...Savannah, what is Tracee talking about?" Eric asked
"I...ummm..we...uhh" Savi stuttered while looking nervously between everyone in the room.
"Hey Garnett, I'm back to take you for testing." Doc said while looking at everyone. "I'm sorry do you need me to come back?" He asked.
"No Doc, you can take him. We'll talk about this later Matthew." Liz said.
"Yes mom" He groaned. They all left to go see Liv and Jake seeing as they were about to leave.

Liv was all dressed and ready to go. " Hey auntie and uncle. How are you?" Liv said.
"We should be asking you that. Hey Richard, hey Fitz." Liz said.
"Knowing that I'm going home to my babies?! I feel FANTASTIC! I've missed them so much. I'm so grateful right now to be back with my family."
"I know you are. Matthew is doing well too he just went off for testing, he woke up and he's talking." Eric said.
"You know anything about Savi and Mattie being in a relationship, Libby?"
"Uhhhh auntie I don't think I..." Liv responded.
"Libby don't you lie to me" Liz said.
"Auntie I honestly just found out today so I was in the dark as well." Liv came in with the save.
"Yeah he and I, his father and Savannah are going to have a conversation about this tomorrow." She said
"I see."
"Livvie, we've got Jake. We're leaving now. Liz I'll be back to visit Matthew tomorrow." Fitz said.
"Okay babe. See you later auntie and uncle."
"See you later niece. We love you, go home and get some rest. Don't give Fitz a hard time either because I will be calling in and dropping by, you hear me?"
"Yes Uncle Eric but you should know he os the biggest troublemaker." Liv begrudgingly said with a playful smile.
"I find that hard to believe pumpkin" Pop Pop said.
"You too Pop Pop? But I'm your favorite, your pumpkin?" Liv she said with the cutest pout.
"You are pumpkin but you are stubborn." He responded.
"Richie, Lord knows she gets it from you." Nana said.
"Oh here you go Nessa that is not true."
"I love you Richard Williams" she said in the sweetest voice.
"I love you more Vanessa Erielle Carolynn Williams."
Liv and Fitz looked at eachother with the most beautiful smiles ontheir face," I love you both so much" Liv concluded with tears falling down her face.
"Awww we love you more babycakes." Nessa said while blowing air kisses and then she hung up the phone so she could get back to the babies.

The next day came so fast and Fitz went to the hospital to see about Matthew.
"Hey, how have you been doing so far?" Fitz asked him.
"Well so far so good. I'm kind of surprised your up here to see me. I know with the whole thing with Savannah and I, I didn't expect you to really care too much."
"Well contrary to my persona before your injury I probably would not be talking to you right now and trust me its nothing against you. Its just Savi is my baby sister and I honestly don't like her dating anyone. It took me awhile to warm up to the girls father, her deceased husband, God rest his soul. I realized after your near death experience that maybe I can give you a chance. I saw how my sister reacted to you being hurt and I had to get over. One thing I have learned in life is people will be here today and gone tomorrow. Me also having that death experience and then almost losing Liv and my brother forever really woke me up. I just want to say that I'm not going to give you a hard time moving forward but I'm telling you don't hurt my sister because that shit will turn me into something else, you feel me?"
"Yeah and I totally understand. Thats how I am with Trace, I know it ain't easy to let go and I can only imagine how you're gonna be with you daughter."
"Shidddddddd she aint dating NOBODY. Not In This LIFETIME!"
"Oh you gotta know dat. Cam, Megan, Addy or Gracie are not allowed to even think about dating." Matt said.
"Of course." Fitz said.
Savannah, Eric and Liz walked in, "Hey what are you both talking about?" Savi asked.
"Nothing." They both responsed in unison.
"Mmmmhmmm... So back to our discussion from yesterday. What was Tracee talking about you two are dating?"
Fitz looked and chuckled, "Yup that's my cue." He went and sat in the corner.
"Mom I love Savannah Grace" he said passionately while looking in her eyes. Savannah was shocked to tears and she responded, "And I love Garnett too."
Everyone gasped in the room including Fitz. "Wow, well when did this start?" Eric asked.
"We actually met a few years ago at an event honoring military men. My daughters dad was in the military but he died he was being honored and they asked me to recieve the honor on his behalf. Matthew walked up to me and we began talking. I wasn't really in the space to begin anything with him because I was still grieving. Mr. and Mrs. Garnett I don't know what the future holds for us but I do see him in my life. Although we've only reunited for a short while your son is a very great person and friend and hopefully future partner."
"Okay Savannah, lets go get breakfast for us all and we'll eat together." Liz said.
"Okay"

They left to go to a café down the street. "So Savi you been sexin my son, huh?"
She spit out her water while coughing ferociously because some water went down the wrong way. "Hmmm?" She mumbled while turning the deepest shade of red.
"You know when you blush like that you don't even have to give me an answer because you already told me."
"Can we not? I feel like I'm talking to my mom."
"Where is she?"
Thankful for the change in conversation she begins talking, "She lives on the other side of the world but she does come and visit us. She's spoken to Liv and they're pretty fool with eachother. She's actually on her way over here to meet the babies and hang out with us."
"Thats great I can't wait to meet her. But anywho when did you and Matt start sexing?...oh don't think I forgot about that. I know when couples start doing the nasty I can tell with the body language Trust me with his father my mama knew soon as he came around. He was my third real relationship. My mama took me in her room and said Lizzie you sexin that boy? I was frozen to that spot. Mind you I was all the way grown but your mama is the only person that can reduce you to a child in a matter of seconds. So here I was a grown ass woman scared to death whispering Yesssss mama. She laughed and asked me, do you love him? I told her yes and that I was gonna marry that man and we been going at it ever since."
Her and Sav laughed so hard, "If Tray was here she would have been so disgusted. But thats okay its our parents job to gross us out."
"Helloooooo! Thats how yall got her from us being gross."
"Thanks for being so motherly and nice to me and yes I had sex with your son only once so far."
"Okay and no problem would never be mean to you unless you hurt my baby boy."
"Oh trust me I will not. We're just taking it one day at a time. He's supposed to take me on a date after he recuperates of course. I am going to come over and help you take care of him."
"I look forward to you being a part of our family." Elizabeth said with a grand smile.
"Yeah me too." Savannah said with a smile on her face.
