AN: It's finally Mercury's turn - thanks for waiting.

Cauldron IV

A maelstrom of chilled water swirled in the cauldron, crashing and revolving until the noise was nearly deafening. And just as suddenly as the liquid appeared, the pressure dropped and humidity rose, creating a blinding spray of fog. From the mist, a single star seed, bathed in blue appeared. Distant sounds of a harp, ethereal music never heard previously sounded through the silence of space.

It's not enough.

Intelligence?

A surplus. Let her most dangerous weapon be her mind.

In this, we are in agreement.

Shining sapphire dust flew in a whirlwind from the great cauldron, wrapping the tiny seed in its midst.

And like the other Senshi before her, she would not be alone. With an almost magnetic quality, the crystal resonated. Not as loudly as the others, but a solid pulse. One that spoke of quiet devotion, much like the personality she would come to possess.

AN: As much as I'd love to continue this series for the Outers/Serenity, I think it will be a while - or, if you're feeling it, do your own take - just tag me somewhere.
