AN: C'mon now, this one was made for N/M (my rarest pairing, I think). I probably could've taken this in a more romantic version, but well… Also, just because I haven't done enough first person, here's to trying it out.

You're sayin' those words like you hate me now,

Our house is burning when you're raisin' Hell,

Here in the ashes, your soul cries out,

But don't be afraid of these thunderclouds

These thunderclouds, oh no

These thunderclouds, oh no, no...

~Thunderclouds, LSD

Electrical sparks littered the surface of a violent battlefield scene. As I put distance in between myself and the devastation in my wake, bright connections trailed from the tips of my gloved fingertips. Thunder sang in my blood, barely quieting, echoing in my heart. I lived for these moments.

I had.

Until the force of my power were forced upon him.

I looked up. Out towards the silent stars overhead.

When we'd first met, ours had seemed a match made in the heavens. The perfect combination of elements. A man to match my ferocity, a balance.

I inhaled deeply.

As with any of my attacks, the unique scent of petrichor and rose dissipated around me.

Only this time… It covered something more. Something coppery.

I was no stranger to blood. Not on the training field, nor in my role as senshi. Still, when the command came from Venus, there was nothing else to do. We had been betrayed. My index fingers had come together, with the mighty force of Jupiter behind my powerful crash.

I did not falter, and would not fail.

Thunderstorms yielded rain sometimes, did they not?

That must account for the liquid trickling down my face.

AN: First person, more? No?
