Harry Potter x High School Musical
1: New Years Eve
Harry and Troy were playing a few rounds of basketball downstairs with Troy's dad.
"Whoa!" Troy shouted.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" His dad said.
"Good one, Troy." Harry said laughing.
"Thanks man." Troy smiled.
"Are you serious? Guys. It's the last night of the year. The party?" Troy's mother had come down and spun around in a nice dress.
"Right."
"Sorry mom." Troy said.
"Yea. There is a "kids" party downstairs." Harry said.
"Kids party?"
"Young adults. Why don't you and Harry shower up and go?" Troy's mother said.
"One more?" Troy asked.
His mother sighed twice before letting them go.
Troy shot the last basket and him and Harry went to clean up and change.
"Man. I can't believe this is happening." Harry said.
"No kidding. I can't wait to get back to school." Troy said getting out of the steamy shower.
"Let's just head down there. I wish I could stay here. I can't stand school." Harry said.
"Come on man. You, me, Chad, Jason, and Zeke need you. You keep up in shape and in play." Troy said.
"Troy." Harry said as they started heading out. "You do realize I make the play books for your dad and your team." Harry said.
The two came into the party and they hung out around the edge of the room.
Harry stood away from Troy when he was talking with other people.
Harry didn't like being in crowds. Especially with strangers.
"You staying out of the way too?" Asked a girl.
Harry turned and this tall girl with brown curly hair was next to him. She didn't look pleased with this place.
"Not really. My friend is the one who does most of the...talking." Harry said.
"Well, me and my friend prefer to stay away from parties. But he mom said to us, "come on. It'll be fun." But she just wants to read her book. I don't mind it." She shrugged.
"Harry Potter." He said.
"Hermione Granger." She smiled.
Suddenly, Troy and a girl were brought up on stage.
"Oh boy." Harry said.
"What? That your friend?"
"Yup. And he can't really sing." Harry said.
"Funny. Mine I've never heard sing. Let's see if her shyness is going to shine away?" Hermione said.
"That girl is your friend?" Harry asked pointing.
"Yes. Gabriella. She's new here. She lived by my house. Her and I are planning on going to the same school." Hermione said.
"Good. At least she's got you." Harry smiled.
troy and Gabriella began singing and it was one pumped up party once they finished.
Harry and Hermione followed them outside of the party room.
"That was a surprise." Harry said.
"Hey man." Troy said.
"Gabriella. This is Harry." Hermione said.
"Troy. This is Hermione. Gabriella's friend."
"Hey."
"Hi. It's nice to meet you." Hermione said to him.
"Guess this night just got a little more fun. How come you never sang like that at home?" Hermione asked.
"Never tried." Gabriella said.
"That was amazing. I've never done that before and...thanks for doing it too." Troy said.
Harry raised a brow.
Hermione looked confused.
"Ah. Right. Your welcome." Gabriella said.
Soon the two girls left.
"What a night." Troy said.
"Yeah. You just had your Danny moment."
"What?"
"Danny moment. From Grease. The movie. Danny Zuko? You were flirting with Gabriella. You were falling for her." Harry said.
"What? Come on Harry."
"I"m being serious here." Harry said.
Troy scoffed. "I'm never going to see her again. What makes you think that you won't?" Harry asked.
Troy laughed. "What about Hermione? Did you fall for her too?" Troy asked.
Harry shook his head. "I don't roll like that."
"I know. But you could. It can happen." Troy said. They two headed back up and it the hay.
"He was cute." Hermione said.
"Don't. I'm not saying seeing him again." Gabriella said.
"Come on. He looked cute. You are going to meet more boys like him in school. With her sweet personality, i can't make a promise." Hermione said.
"Thanks. But school is all I want to focus on." Gabriella said.
"So, how was the party?" Gabriella's mother asked.
"Fun." Gabrielle said.
"Someone sang a song for karaoke." Hermione teased.
"Oh?"
"No mom. I'm not doing this." Gabriella said.
"She also-"
"Please Hermione. Don't." And Gabriella went to bed.
"I'm glad she had a good time at least." Her mother said.
Elsewhere...
There was a huge party happening at the Evans house hold. Sharpay Evans was partying with her friends and with the older Weasley siblings.
While the younger two, were up in Ryan Evans room, playing checkers.
"And I go here." Ron loved playing Ryan.
"And there goes the ball. Happy new your you two." Ginny said.
"Happy new year." Ryan smiled.
"This year, I'm getting a girlfriend." Ron said.
"You say tat every year since middle school." Ginny complained.
"And this year, your getting a boyfriend."
"What? Why are you saying that Ryan?" She asked him.
"Yes. Why?" Ron asked sounding annoyed.
"Just so I can see your brother squirm here." Ryan laughed.
"Haha. Funny. Very funny." Ron said.
"Come on man. Ginny already needs to get into dating. She's not your baby sister anymore. And she's a year younger then us." Ryan said.
Ron scoffed. "No. My sister-"
"Oh Ron stop it! Sharpay already set me up with someone last year." Ginny said.
"I'm sorry. WHAT?!" Ron yelled.
"We broke up before summer. He and I were always fighting." Ginny said.
"Way to go Ginny!" Ryan said.
"No! Ginny! Why?!"
"He asked. I went on my first date! Sharpay set it up and cheered me on. She at least get's what a girl needs." Ginny said.
And the night got even louder.
But after this night, when school would start once again, it would be the start...of a long story.
