The boys are taking a bus back to Boomfield, they are disappointed, Joe thinks he can use the book to help the cops but Fred and Sam tell him the less people know the better. Joe comes home, he is greeted by his mother Ashley and his father Noah, they notice he has a book they ask him where did he get it, he lies saying he got it at some store, saying he forgot he had it. Ashley opens the door for him to his room, he sees it's a mess, she tells him it was just how he left it, and tells him to clean it up, saying she doesn't care how long it takes, she leaves, he says not long at all, he asks the book to summon a wand and uses it to clean his room, he heads out of his room. Later that evening during dinner, Ashley tells Joe she's amazed at how he was able to clean his room, take out the trash, rake the leaves, and straighten out the garage all before dinner, Joe tells them since time is money, they should double his allowance, they tell him they'll do that, he gets excited.
