Hi guys! I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter, hence it's not very long, but it was necessary for the story so I hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: Rick owns PJO not me.

Reviews: I would just like to say that on the last chapter someone reviewed concerning spelling and that I do try my best and proof read but I am dyslexic and also English so if you are an American reader I might be using the English spelling. But at the same time I have an American spell checker, which is annoying, so if I can't spell a word and use that it will be an American spelling. I am sorry for any confusion this may cause and I hope it's not too bad.

Nico POV

My hand spiked with pain as I punched the wall again. But I ignored it. Letting loose a feral scream I hit it again.

"Nico!" Frank called out, he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me back. "Stop it. It's not your fault." He pulled me against him to stop me from further hurting myself. "He wouldn't want you to do this."

I sagged against him. Finally giving in to the pain. "You can't do this to yourself." He said, dragging me away to where I was supposed to be sitting, waiting for the meeting. "What would Percy think?"

"Right now, he'll probably be only thinking about pain. And we both know that." I replied hotly as I sat in my chair.

"If he saw what you were doing he would be furious with you." The son of Mars told me. "You know, I'm right." He sighed running a hand through his hair. "I know you think it was your fault, but we could all have done something better. Tried to save him. Right now, we have to focus on getting him back."

I looked down at my hands on the table. My knuckles were split, and my gold tinted blood was running steadily from the cuts. I knew Frank was right, but I couldn't help feeling that Percy was gone because of me.

I should have stopped him from fighting. I should have kept a closer eye on him. I should've kept running after him.

I couldn't even imagine what Percy must be going through right then. I had seen him in the state when we rescued him before, but now Kronos was beyond angry at him. I didn't want to think about it, but the thought just kept replaying in my head.

Eventually, the other immortal campers arrived after they had made sure the campers were sorted after the battle and everything was in order. Then Hermes arrived to take us to Olympus.

An emergency meeting had been called.

When we arrived the Olympians were all gathered and, for once, they were silent. Without a word we all went to sit by our parents' thrones, although I did cast an apologetic look towards Poseidon. He had clearly just been crying. The tear tracks obvious on his face.

When we were all seated Zeus began. "Demigods, I'm sure you all know why we are here." There was a murmur of ascent around the room. "Kronos has taken Perseus Jackson. Not only is that sad for many of the people gathered, it poses a threat to Olympus as a whole."

He nodded to Athena and the goddess stood up. "We believe," she began "that the titan's will be eager to have him back under their control. And now they have a time limit, last time they could wait until they were ready to attack. But now they know that once we are ready, we can launch an attack on Othrys."

"I'm sure you are all aware of what that means for Poseidon's son and are all eager to get him back." We all nodded. If this was leading to what I thought it was, the gods would help us in getting Percy back again – even if it was to save their own skins.

"I propose that we launch an attack on the titan base at Othrys. This would give us the opportunity to fight back on our own terms and possibly end this war, at the same time a small, specialised strike team would infiltrate the base and rescue Perseus." The goddess went on to explain the plan carefully, and it was good, but I only had one question.

"Lady Athena?" She turned to look at me. "When would this attack be happening?"

"In a months' time." She replied.

"A month?!" I repeated, outraged. "You intend to leave him there for a month!" I stood from my seat and marched into the centre of the room so that I could see everyone. "You all know what he was like when we found him last time. And this time Kronos is angry at him!"

"You cannot really expect for him to hold out for a month on his own. Surely?" I directed my question to the wisdom goddess and I could see that my friends were looking at her too.

"The demigods from both camps will be undertaking intensive training before we attack. The shortest amount of time that will possibly take is a month. If we attack unprepared the campers will die."

"Then send us." I told her. My friends around me were nodding, agreeing with the plan. "We can sneak in like we did last time and bring Percy home."

"No. You can't." She sadly explained. "Kronos will be expecting that. He will stop you and he will kill you if you try. The moral of the mortals is low enough after losing Perseus, they would not cope if they lost another of their heroes. And we can't afford to lose any of you." The goddess looked at me with pity. "I'm sorry Mr Di Angelo, Percy will have to wait."

I looked around the room, desperately trying to find someone to help me, but all of the immortal demigods looked resigned to the plan. And, while many of the gods didn't look pleased, they knew Athena's plan made the most sense – even Poseidon just sat in his throne staring at the hearth.

Defeated I trudged back to my seat and slumped down in it.

I couldn't believe that not one person was willing to help me get Percy back. I needed to get to him quickly, it was my fault that he was with the titan again and therefore my responsibility to get him back.

I retreated into my misery as the meeting continued, I just hoped that I would be able to get to him before it was too late.

Percy POV

I hissed in pain as another drop of acid fell on my skin.

In the past week I had been beaten bloody, stabbed, whipped, drowned and so much more. Even when one of the titans wasn't around to hurt me, they had set up Hydra venom to drip from the roof, it burned me every time it hit.

My new cell on Othrys was tiny, I could stretch out my arm and touch the opposite wall to the one I was sat against. The roof was low, meaning that I could only sit or stoop within it. Luckily, I wasn't bound but it made very little difference only Lord Kronos held the key to the cell and there was no other way out.

When he wanted me, he just reached inside and dragged me out.

The cramped space and acid made it so that I could never sleep – it was driving me crazy. I could feel myself retreating into my mind as my mental shields raised again. But they were not as strong as they had been when I was first captured.

Only the thought that Nico would be coming for me, kept me together. I knew that he would never give up on me – no matter how long it took to get me out.

I stretched what was left of my t-shirt over my arms to try and slow the venom from reaching the skin. It was a pointless effort, as it burned straight through. I tried not to look at myself, keeping my head down to save my face from the acid, but I knew I looked horrid.

Tiny burns littered my skin from where the drops had hit and semi-healed cuts were scattered across the rest of my skin. I closed my eyes and tried to pretend that I was still at camp.

I imagined the sand on the beach running through my toes as Nico and I walked along it, on our way to meet the others at the campfire they had set up further down. This had happened a few days before the battle. The nine of us had sat on the beach until long after sunset, telling stories from our various quests and laughing.

It had been so peaceful. The crackling of the fire mixed with the rhythmic sound of waves breaking further down the beach, it was as if nothing had every changed. We had been friends our whole lives and everything was good.

Another drip of acid threw me back into the present. I curled in on myself more as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Pitiful." A deep voice drawled from the shadows. I hurried to wipe the tear away as I heard footsteps draw him closer. The sound of scraping metal came next as the rusty key was placed in the lock and the door was pulled open. I tried to steel myself for what I knew would come next.

His hand grabbed my ankle and with a yelp I was dragged into the bigger room.

Just as suddenly I was dropped to the floor. I quickly sat and looked around me, but the titan was nowhere in sight. Panic rose in my chest - I tried to keep my breathing steady but surely failed.

I whipped my head around, trying to find him. Then, something cold touched the front of my neck. "Move and I'll slit your throat." He whispered in my ear. I cried out again in pain as he grabbed my hair and used it to pull me to my feet.

Lord Kronos led me towards the table in the center of the room. I considered trying to escape but, even if I somehow got out of his grip, I would never make it out of Othrys. So, I did as he wanted and walked to the slab.

As soon as the titan laid me down on it, the real fear kicked in. I was pinned by magic and entirely at the mercy of the titan king.

"You know, I'm enjoying having you here Perseus." He spat. "But it would be even better if you were cooperative. The godlings only helped you because they needed you. You've heard the prophecy." I closed my eyes, trying not to let him get into my head.

"The gods think that it foretells of my downfall – but I have another interpretation." At that my eyes opened slightly to look at him. "W-what?" I asked. The titan smiled with glee and said; "Well, the first few lines are obvious as they have already passed but the last two are interesting to me."

"His worst fear he must brave, for the world he has to save." Kronos walked out of my line of sight put kept talking. "You see. The world means Gaia as a planet, the humans are destroying the natural order of things and therefore to save the world those ants must be gotten rid of."

"What is your fatal flaw?" Kronos asked, returning to my vision. "L-loyalty." I told him unsure where he was going. "So it would stand to reason that one of your 'worst fears' is harming your friends." IT finally dawned on me what he was saying. "You will kill your friends and save the world by ridding it of humanity with me Perseus."

A tear slipped from my eye. "No, no. I I won't-" I began.

"You won't have a choice." The king snarled. Suddenly he lifted a dagger and plunged it into my leg.

My screams filled the palace for the next few hours.

Sorry! I know I'm mean to Percy. I didn't want to go into too much detail in his torture because I felt that it would take away from the plot of the story, so I apologise if you wanted to read that. (I also think I am not as mean as I was when I started this.)

Anyway, if you are enjoying the story please please please leave me a review because they make me really happy and inspired.

See ya.
