A/N:Well, I know ive been out of the loop with updates for a while, so here is my peace offering an update today on one of your favorite stories. I'm going to start working on the other ones over the course of the next few weeks. So keep an eye out. Other than that enjoy! I have to go get ready for work soon anyway.

Jeges Tardis was not as retro as the Doctors but Rose would always consider it like home away from home. She smiled over at him as she sat on the couch in the corner. Her mind wondering to times when she had fallen asleep on this very couch after some adventures they had been involved in. Jege looked at Rose and smiled as her thoughts wondered.
"You know Rose we still have some time before you leave this universe for a while to have some more of those. What do you say?"
Rose jumped up and joined Jege at the controls.
"I would say sir that you have your self a deal. Now impress me Time Lord."
Jege laughed and flipped the dematerialization switch. The ride was bumpy and they were thrown around just for the fun of it. Reality was they were both top of their classes when it came to flying a Tardis, they just enjoyed the hilarity of it at this point. A small ding of an oven timer signified that they had landed and Rose jumped up grabbing Jeges hand.
"So dear sir, brave new world?"
Jege grinned and pushed the door open. The sight that greeted Rose was one she would never soon forget. The dark rocks and crevasses of the canyon before her. The smell of salt and sea. Most of all the flying mantas above their heads. Rose couldn't help but let out a weak smile. In her hearts she sometimes wondered if Jege was the embodiment of her Doctor in the universe. Their similarities and ways of thinking were so similar that some times it drove her mad.
Jege reached out and touched her shoulder, concern wrapping around her mind as he did.
"Its OK Jege, I've been here before, just never thought I would see it again."
Jege shook his head, "Of course you have been here before. This Doctor of yours has shown you way too much beauty of the universe, I did bring you here for a different reason though."
Rose looked at Jege, a questioning look spread across her face.
"Why?"
"Rose I want you to make a promise to me on this same beach, the same beach that you promised that Time Lord forever on. If you are true to your word, and love him as you say I will believe this promise true."
Rose nodded her connect for him to continue, although unnerved Rose was curious as to what Jege was on about,\par
"Rose, I know you love him." Rose motioned to speak but was stopped short by Jeges raised hand.
"Hear me out first please Rose. I would not ask you to forsake him at anytime, it is obvious to everyone who knows him or of him that you are meant to be bonded."
Rose blushed and turned away from Jege. It was embarrassing and even at most forbidden to say such things in Gallifreian society. Jege reached his hand out and turned Rose's face back towards him.
"What I want from you is a promise that not only will you never forget me, but that if he proves fickle that you will return to me. I may not have your hearts dear rose but you have mine. As is customary on Gallifrey, I will give you a gift to honor that loyalty to you. It is not a symbol of intent, but a symbol that I will always wait."
Jege reached in his pocket and pulled from it a golden bracelet, engravings of silver roses surrounded it with the world Golden Hearts engraved as well in circular Gallifreian.
"Oh Jege, I don't know what to say. I cant ask you to forsake all other for me, its too much. I mean this is a binding promise back on Gallifrey. They could kill you unless I publicly release you from this promise."
Jege nodded and pulled Rose into a tight hug.
"I dear Rose am more then well aware of what I am asking and giving in return."
"I... I don't know Jege."
Jege pulled back wrapping her face in his hands. His lips descending onto hers. He pulled back from the chaste kiss and smiled down at her.
"Just say yes Rose."
Rose smiled weakly through her tears and nodded. Jege smiled and brushed the hair from her face before reaching down to place the bracelet on her wrist.
Rose looked down at it, running her fingers over the intricate designs. It was sometime more than anyone had ever given her and it meant the world. At the same time it felt like a heavy weight, she literally held his life in her hands. She could only hope that she didn't keep him waiting for a release from this promise too long.
"Come on Rose, its time to get you back to Gallifrey. The Tardis ceremony for you is sometime tomorrow and Time machine or not I would hate for you to be late for that."
Rose looked up at him and smiled weakly before taking his hand. The walk back to Jeges Tardis was quiet both mentally and verbally. Rose was using all of her will power to block him from her thoughts. Thoughts of the Doctor that she would be reunited with would only hurt him more than she was.
Rose smiled as she walked up to the controls, waiting for Jege to join her in piloting back to Gallifrey.
