This has been many years since Banzai died after the battle of the Pride Rock. The hyenas left the Pride Lands. Their hearts are filled with sorrow. They went to find a new home.
Later...
At night, Shenzi watched the stars with a zebra on the side Ed gave to his older sister. She also puts a paw her stomach, as if to know she had cubs inside. She still missed her mate.
"I missed you, Banzai," she said.
"I missed you, too, Shenzi," a voice responded.
Shenzi turned and saw Banzai's spirit that was glowing brightly at night.
"Banzai! You're here!" Shenzi cried happily, nuzzling the alpha male.
"I never left you, babe," Banzai said with a smile, licking her face.
The alpha male's spirit was very warm and touchable for the matriarch. His spirit was also sparkly with glittering brightness.
"I'm sorry I had to go before you decided to make a family of ours," he said, and then the memory of Banzai's passing appeared brightly.
The memory of his passing illustrates that he had been killed by a vicious lioness named Zira. After that, the matriarch was mourning for her mate. Ed and the clan had let out a howl of tragedy. And then, the flashback disappeared.
"I have to go now," Banzai finally said.
"Oh, honey, I promise I'll be fine. And also, I'm pregnant. I am sorry I never told you sooner when you died," Shenzi responded.
"I am glad to hear that. So I have to go. Goodbye," The alpha male said, and then he disappeared after his final lick on the matriarch's face.
"See you soon, my love," Shenzi said with a smile.
