On the 13th day of the 13th month of the 13th year...magic will return to the world...and the streets will run red with the blood of the (semi)innocent...unless the world is saved by the most unlikely of hero's...baking cupcakes?!

Valmont was confused...one moment he and his men were fighting both Chan and that dark wizard to gain the talismans... next moment the king of Creepypasta comes to life, hijacks the fight, feeds the wizened man to a mummy and then whisks the Dark hand away back to their hideout...after turning them them all into dark Chi warriors of all the absurd things...
And now he was taking a small little brush to him, dusting off all the 'decay on his villainy'...whatever the bloody frack that meant...
Interestingly...the more the creature 'dusted off the decay'...the more Valmont began to analyze his recent actions...
'Why the devil did I just flick the talismans randomly to this lot? Shirley I could've put more forethought into that...'
And then as he thought about how he later handled the 'demon portal' situation. Okay, yes. The whole 'demon possession' situation had been terrifying and disorienting violation of his very being, but he was once the leader of one of the worlds greatest crime syndicates! A whole secret government division had been commissioned to bring him down! Which they failed to do repeatedly despite knowing his name and what he looked like! Shirly, it wouldn't have killed him to keep a cool head and try to twist the situation to his advantage?
Yes...he saw it now...his threat level had 'decayed' the last year or so, hadn't it? Well, that changed now...
He looked on his employees; Finn, Ratso, Chow and Hak Foo. All of them empowered like him to become Dark Chi warriors. "Our fortunes change here!" He exclaims.
"I was hoping you'd say that." Said Slenderman with (somehow) a smile, he then brings out a familiar looking ancient puzzle box...
"We'll get to business in a moment...time for some pleasure first." Said the eldritch demon as he turned on a nearby TV...which was showing a certain school burning down...and Jade Chan being chased away by her own classmates throwing rocks!?

The Chan clan panted as they finally got Jade a safe distance away... "Okay, I think they stopped throwing stuff." Said Jade right before another rock winged her in the head.
Toru sighed, "Y'know Jade...it probably wouldn't have been so bad if you hadn't tried to brag about 'being right all along'..."
Jade groaned, "I wasn't trying to brag! I just...I was just trying to find a silver lining...I mean, that was just horrible! People...people died!"
Jade sniffed...before Section 13 had arrived, Imhotep had destroyed most of the school and slaughtered most of the students! She'd loved adventuring...but no matter how bad things got...her family always saved the day...not this time though...
Jackie sighed, "I'm sorry you had to see that Jade...but still that was a rather inappropriate thing to bring up-"
Jade just shook her head confused. "They were really up in arms! Okay, what had just happened was terrible...but was the confirmation of magic existing really such a terrible thing?"
"Yes, jade. It was." Said Jackie flatly, to her surprise. Jackie sighed, "Look Jade I know you like our adventures...but honestly? I never did..."
Jade gaped in disbelief, "But...but your a kick-but secret agent!"
"I'm an ARCHEOLOGIST." Emphasized Jackie. "I'm just a simple archeologist and I never wished for anything more...I want nothing more to be done with magic, demons and ALL this...and just return to being a NORMAL archeologist doing NORMAL archeologist things..."
Jade looked at him like he was speaking a foreign language... "Just...just be normal? Why? That's boring!"
Captain Black decides to take the reigns, "Jade, I know this is hard for you to understand...most people just want to live their lives, eat, work, raise a family. Magic and all that would just disrupt that...it would disrupt their understanding of the world and threaten their 'normality', their understanding of the world, the sense of security they got from the certainty of 'normal, everyday life'...which is why we kept it secret..." Captain Black frowned thoughtful, "Well, that and politicians tend to get nervous over anything that could cause people to panic, lose faith in their government or stop paying their taxes..." He admitted.
He then gets very thoughtful, no matter how he looked at it, this was BAD. They'd never put any security at Jade's school- an oversight he was kicking himself for not thinking of sooner - as their'd been no NEED. The Dark hand would never dare attack a SCHOOL(criminals they maybe, but their were unspoken rules that MOST criminals had to follow lest they become outcasts and target by everyone- INCLUDING other criminals), Shendu might've but either the idea had never occurred to him or he'd been too focus on his goals.
Just as importantly; neither Shendu nor Valmont had tried exposing magic to the world. Exposing themselves, their operations or what they were trying to do would've been completely counterproductive to their goals. (putting the world on higher alert, allowed Captain Black to seem less insane and thus gain more resources, more competition, etc)
But this new guy...this IMHOTEP...he didn't seem to CARE. He cared nothing for the wellbeing of children- he slaughtered them like animals by the dozens! And he did it all in plain view of dozens of news crews!
Captain Black couldn't help but find that suspicious...usually they had agents in or monitoring the media to warn them or do damage control in these situations...but not only had they seemingly completely dropped the ball here...he wasn't able to reach them either! Even more suspicious, when he'd tried to use a miniature EMP to fry all the media crews electronics...nothing happened! He couldn't even confiscate their footage as it had all been going out live!
Come to think of it...he hadn't really done anything to Jade...and he immediately skedaled the moment they showed up...
...it was almost like someone had put him up to exposing magic to the world...

"Oh, right! I knew I forgot something! One moment, please!" He vanished from Valmonts hideout and appeared to Imhotep. "Right, great job! You really spooked her good and put on quite the show!"
"أين الحيوانات المقدسة؟" Demanded Imhotep, clearly in no mood to be patient.
Slenderman sighs, "Alright, deals a deal..." He shows him where the sacred Dog is located...
"هذا واحد فقط! أين الآخرون ؟!" Imhotep once more demanded.
Slenderman shrugged, "Hey I promised if you attacked Jades school in the most public and most showey way possible I would show you where the sacred animals were...I NEVER said I'd show you them all at once or WHEN I'd do it. In any case, I got another business deal on the other side of the line to broker, toodles!"
Imhotep screams enraged as Slenderman vanishes back to Valmont...
