The clone wars have finished, but this only sparks more imagination. The ending in episode 12 leaves us with a lot of questions. This story isn't going to answer them, but it is my own self made imagination of what happens next put onto your screen. Please enjoy, send feedback, and have a good day!
CHAPTER 1
They walked, days on end. Aimlessly in one direction. Neither knew what their objective was. This was the first time that was the case since the clone wars ended. They both somberly walked through the desert like planet that they had recently crashed upon. "Rex" Ahsoka finally spoke. "What was said to you, over the transmission, before you turned?". "Execute, order 66" Rex replied flatly.
Neither still knew what the full scale of this order was. They knew that it spread across all the galaxy. That every single clone trooper was to turn on the jedi. Neither knew what exactly happened to their friends in the order. Ahsoka's mind and senses were clouded. There was a sense of, nothingness. She could not sense anyone, anything. Nothing that had hope. She still did not know what happened to Anakin, but she had sensed something terrible. She wanted to have hope, but it was near impossible after what occurred days ago.
They walked for days, camped at night. Walked in the day. They finally came to the edge of a shanty town. It was not much, but it was something. They had to get off the planet. It was evening, both tired, legs barely carrying them another step. They walked with their heads down, and cloaks over their faces through the small unknown town. "I am going to ask this man where we can find a ship" Ahsoka said to Rex. She crossed the dirt street to the corner, where an old gentleman was having a drink.
"Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but where may I find a ship on this planet?" Ahsoka asked. The man sat up in his chair, taking a glance at the young togruta's face. He could tell that she had been through something, her battle-hardened face full of scratches and dirt, her cold, bagged eyes that were empty. She looked drained. "Well young lady, you are on the right track. If you continue down this road to the town center, he resides there. Be warned however, it is very difficult to find ships to leave this planet. You will have to pay a large price, and he is not easy to negotiate with." "Thanks" Ahsoka nodded and walked back to Rex's side.
"So, where are we going?" Rex asked. "He is in the city center, but I am far to tired to go any further, we should stop in an alley and get some rest" Ahsoka suggested. The pair found an alley and sat beside each other behind a storage unit. "I can take first wat-"Rex paused as he felt Ahsoka's head lean on his shoulder. He looked down to see her fast asleep, steadily breathing. He did not blame her. Unfortunately, his efforts fell short after one hour, slowly drifting off to sleep.
He woke up to a soft hand on his cheek. Ahsokas face filled his vision. "Is it morning?" Rex asked, still trying to adjust to the light. "Yes, now we need to get moving, I don't want to be here any longer" Ahsoka stretched her hand out and helped her friend to his feet. They walked to the direction they were pointed in, they finally arrived at the ship vendor. They both sat down at the table.
"Ahh, my lady. What can I be of service to you today?" the alien man said. "We are looking for a ship, small transport, nothing big" Ahsoka leaned in, a part of her wanted to mind control this man, getting a ship easily, but she said no to herself. She wanted the force out of her life at this point, she did not want anything to do with it anymore. "Yes of course, you do know it is difficult to come by a ship on this planet, and many share the same desire to leave as yourself. What do you have to offer?" the man asked, he sat back in his chair with his arms crossed. Not expecting something to impress him.
Ahsoka gestured to Rex, as he pulled out a wrapped item out of his pack. He handed it to her and placed it on the table, unraveling it. The man's eyes lit up as the cloth revealed Ahsokas second, shorter shoto style light saber. "Where did you come across such a thing" the man asked in awe. "A republic ship crashed on this planet, we looted it and found it" Ahsoka said, praying that her story was enough to convince the man. The man looked Ahsoka and Rex up and down, he was not fully convinced on how they got it, but he was not going to ask any questions.
"Done deal, your ship will be ready by this afternoon" the man said, gesturing to one of his mechanics. "Thankyou" Ahsoka said. The pair stood up and walked away from the table. "We should change our clothes, if they see your clone armor people are going to ask questions." Rex nodded in agreement as they found a small vendor. They changed their clothing and threw their cloaks over their heads once more. Going almost incognito through the town.
Later that afternoon they finally boarded their new transport. It was not much, but enough to get them to the outer rim, and it was civilian, so it wouldn't attract attention. "Where exactly, are we going?" Rex asked as he sat in the co-pilot seat. Ahsoka seemed to have plan as she was putting in coordinates without hesitation. "I have one stop; I have to know" she replied. Rex looked worried, "where exactly?" he replied.
"Coruscant"
