MAYA'S POV

Mom was finishing my hair when they came in.

"Hey, honey-nugget," Zay greeted me. "Josh is just finishing up and we wanted to see you!" I gave him a quick hug, followed by Farkle. I opened my mouth to speak when Riley rushed in.

"They're ready!" She told me with a bright smile on her face. I got to the end of the aisle and started walking when the music started. I put my arm around Shawn's arm and as I walked I saw everyone that I loved. I saw Mr. Feeny and then I saw Josh. He looked amazing, I started tearing up. I took Josh's hands as Mr. Feeny started speaking.

"I heard that you have written your own vows." We nod and he motions for Josh to start.

"Maya," he started with tears in his eyes, "you are the strongest, most beautiful, most amazing girl I have ever met. Years ago you decided to stop letting people in your life, and when you did, you only let a few people in." I almost cried. "I don't have a clue what makes me so special, but you let me in, and you never let me go. So I promise to never let you go, if you want to ride that scary rollercoaster that I don't want to go on, I'll be in the seat next to you. If you want to watch that new scary movie and I'm too scared, I'll still be watching. I love you Maya, I always have and I always will." The last part came out a little shaky because he was crying. I felt tears slowly fall down my face. Mr. Feeny motioned to me.

"Joshua, Boing, Matthews,"I got a few laughs, "I have never felt love before I met you. I learned what it was and I knew that I wanted it, but I never had it. You are the toolbox that fixed me, because, when I'm with you, I'm not broken anymore." I gripped his hands tighter. "I promise to be with you on this rollercoaster called life, through every loop, hill, drop, and turn. I love you, Joshua Matthews, it's you that I love." By the end of my vows my face was soaked in tears. I kept staring into Josh's eyes untill Mr. Feeny finished.

"I do." I heard Josh say.

"I do."

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride." We kissed and the family started cheering. We drove over to the venue and heard the DJ announce couples.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Friar!" He called as the Friars walked in. "Mr. Farkle Minkus and Ms. Isadora Smackle! Mr. Zay Babineaux and Ms. Taylor Baker! And for the first time ever, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Matthews!" We walked in and the crowd cheered. We had our first dance. Soon after, I was dancing with Shawn.

"I'm proud to be your father." he smiled at me.

"I'm just a little sad that I can't be Mrs. Hunter, though." I teased. Later that night my friends and I were taking turns dancing with each other.

"May I steal her for a moment?" Someone asked Riley, who I was with. Riley nodded.

"Why're you dancing with me, huckleberry?" I teased.

"You look great, Mrs. Short stack of pancakes." I gave him a hug before sitting down. It was time for speeches.

"Hello, everyone." Riles started, "I wanted to say how I think that it's funny how fate bring 2 people together. My parents wanted me to open my window many years ago, so a little girl crawled through. No, my best friend crawled through. All because of that window, my uncle go to meet the love of his life, Maya got to find a safe place, and I constantly think about this. If Farkle didn't tell everyone that I was still in love with Lucas, I wouldn't be married and pregnant. My point here is, love brings 2 people together in funny ways, and today we are here to celebrate a success in those ways." Everyone held up their glasses. Then, Lucas got up.

"Hi, everyone, I'm the best man, Lucas Friar. I was friends with Maya throughout middle and high school, and the thing that everyone knew was that she had her eyes on something a lot older than her. She decided to be patient and wait for her true love. Here's to playing 'the long game'!" we held up our glasses again. We kept dancing around untill it was time to throw the bouquet. I threw it and it landed in Smackle's hands! Farkle then went up to the microphone and we sat there confused.

"Maya, I know that this is your special day at that you don't want me to ruin it, but I have an announcement. Smackle is having a baby!" Everyone cheered. Riley and I ran over to Smackle.

"You're having Minki? That was supposed to be our job, but you can have it." We all laughed.

"Riles, it's time." I told my best friend as we walked to the microphone.

"Hello, everyone. We have a song to sing to our dear friend. Please enjoy." Riley told them.

"Feen-ay!" I said.

"Fuh Fuh Fuh Fuh Feen-ay!" Riley joined.

"You all know the words!" I said, pointing to Topanga, Cory, and Shawn. Teh immediately started chanting along with us.

"Feen-ay!" we ended it. The rest of the night was super fun, and the day after Josh and I were going to Hawii for our honeymoon.
