Kion and Rani were walking around the Tree and it was their turn to visit the Pride Lands.

Rani nuzzled Kion to reassure him. They said their farewells and placed Baliyo in charge with Surak and Nirmala's help as they began the journey.

He later arrived in the Pride Lands.

The lion looked up to see a group of lions but only one caught his eye.
Vitani: What are you doing in the Pride Lands?
Lion: Just here for a visit.
Vitani: With who and why?
Lion: A visit at Pride Rock and you, Tani.
Vitani only recalled one lion that called her that.
Vitani: No way.
Lion: Better believe it.
Vitani was stunned by the lion.
