Brigita10, thanks for the help.

JASON“S STONE (Years before the show start!)

Four-year-old Jason Walton rushed back inside the house one morning in the spring, after spending a whole hour in the garden searching for the perfect gift to give his Mother. But nothing seemed appealing. To make matters worse, she had said earlier that morning that the card John Boy gave her was the best gift ever. It was thanks to Grandpa that Jason managed to find the perfect gift and now he was anxious to give it to her.

"Mama!" He called out once he had stepped into the kitchen. "I brought you a gift!"

"Jace, be quiet, I'm trying to read!" Six-year old John Boy said, annoyed.

"Where's Mama, I want to give her a gift!"

"She's putting Erin to sleep while Ben and Mary Ellen wail." the older brother said, exasperation on his face. "What you going to give her?" John Boy asked and in response Jason showed him a small dirty stone.

"Grandpa said it's makes sounds, like magic!" Jason explained, his eyes lighting up with childish excitement.

"Don't be silly Jace, stones don't make sounds. " John Boy muttered, keeping his eyes on his book.

"It does, Grandpa said it does!"

"That's just silly and I doubt Mama will like it, it's just a stone." John Boy said, not realizing he was being cruel. In response, Jason started to cry.

A minute later, Olivia rushed downstairs with a frown on her face. Of course she loved her boys and she was sure John Boy and Jason would end up been the best of friends later in life, but for now, they were prone to annoying each other.

"Jason, John Boy, could you two be quiet? I'm trying to put your siblings to sleep!" She said angrily, her tired face showing the struggles of having a two-year-old, a one year old and a baby.

"Mama, I brought you a gift, but John Boy is saying you won't like it." Jason sobbed.

John Boy shrugged and blushed. "It's just a stone, Mama. "

"John Walton Jr, If you don't want me to call your Daddy, you better apologize to your brother and go back to your reading." Olivia scolded John Boy as he pouted.

John Boy huffily stomped his foot. "Sorry silly Jace!"

"May I see what you got me, Jason sweetie?" Olivia asked kindly and in response, Jason opened his little hand and showed her the stone.

"Happy Mother's day, Mama!" He said quietly and Olivia gave a big smile. "Grandpa said it's makes sounds."

"Really?" Olivia placed the stone near her ear and pretended it really made sounds. "Grandpa is right, it's makes such a symphony of love. Thank you so much Jason, it's the best gift ever, "

Years passed and Jason Walton brought his mother a lot of better gifts in the course of his life, but Olivia always kept the little stone on her bedside, as a remembrance of the first gift she ever got from him.
