MIDNIGHT TALK WITH BEN (The Witch Of Waltons Mountain)
It was past midnight when Olivia Walton woke up after having the most frightening nightmare ever. Not wanting to wake up her husband, she got up from her bed and went to check on her children. The girls and John Boy were just fine, but when she passed by the boy´s bedroom and saw Ben´s bed empty, a million thoughts ran into her head. She was about to scream when a sound come from downstairs, bringing her back to her senses.

Ben Walton was leaning on the kitchen floor, cleaning up a mess, when Olivia came downstairs. ''Benjamin Walton. What are you doing out of bed?'' Olivia asked.
''Sorry Mama, I was hungry and came down for a glass of milk, but I dropped it on the floor.'' He said apologetically.
''Oh…'' Olivia smiled. ''You want me to fix you something?''
''No, thanks Mama, the milk is fine.''
''Alright, you want some company?''
Ben frowned. 'Sure Mama…''
Once they sat down, Olivia kept staring to her son. Less than twenty four hours ago, the boy had almost died due to a snake bite and just the thought of losing her bright young son made Olivia want to cry. So. she just sat there, staring at him, admiring the fact that her son was still with her and would forever be.
Ben raised an eyebrow. ''Mama? Are you alright?''
''Yeah, I'm just waiting for you to finish, so both of us can return to sleep. '' Olivia smiled. ''And you? Are you feeling alright? "
He let out a chuckle. "Yeah...well, my foot is still hurting, but I really wanted a glass of milk." Ben's gave clouded. "Mama, I'm sorry, tomorrow is Mother's day and I forgot to buy you something!"
Olivia wrapped her son in a tight embrace. "You being alive, Ben, is the most wonderful gift."
"Don't worry Mama, I'm doing okay now... even better actually!" Ben smiled.
"Good to know sweetheart. Now back to bed." Olivia demanded and they went upstairs.

While the others gave their mother nice gifts, Ben just picked up a flower from the garden and gave it to Olivia. Of course, she said that she loved all the gifts, but the one given by the son she almost lost was what she treasured most.
