CHAPTER 1
I'm sitting at the chair outside the principal office. I am so fucking stressed. Not because this is my new school. It's because of why I had to change my previous school. I know that he knows and I know that he will ask about it at look weirdly at me. I hate when people are looking at me. It's not like I'm shy or something, I just don't like to be in the center of attention. That's why I disapproved of the idea of changing school a few weeks after it started. Some people would say that it's nothing, that's only a few weeks. But I bet every student knows how important this time is. Now everybody knows each other and I'm the only one alone. Super. Suddenly receptionist opened the door and said
"You can come inside" she was smiling warmly like she didn't want to scare me
"Thanks" I answered quickly and walked into the office. I saw a half-open door on my left and closed door with a huge hole in it on my right. What happened to this poor door? The woman pointed the one on my left. I smiled a fake smile and got into the room. There was a man sitting at his desk. It had lots of empty boxes and papers and things that I think everyone would call trash.
"Good morning," I said and peeked at him. He was wearing a Hawaii shirt and sandals. I guess he had some pant but I could see them. I mean I hope he had them. He also had some weird thing at his head. I don't really know and care what is it. He was looking grumpy and angry.
"Hello," he smiled a little bit. It was kinda cute and unexpected smile. It was silence for a few long seconds "My name is Crocus, I'm the principal of this school. I guess you are (Y/N) the new kid here, right?" I nodded. Crocus? Is it his name or surname? "Here you have your schedule." he gave me some piece of paper. .
"So, can you tell me something about this school, umm I mean rules or you know" I replied awkwardly
"Well, about rules, you can do whatever you want as long as you have not bad grades and you don't kill anyone," I thought it was a joke, so I smiled a bit "Oh and of course if you will destroy something you have to pay for it" now I was confused. It was a joke right? I mean in my previous school fights were a daily routine, but we were fighting outside at least.
"We have a lunch break after the 4th period here. You can join a club or whatever you want to call it. Hmm, what else? I think that's it for now. Just watch out and be strong, that's all" he said it like it was an obvious and simple thing
"Thanks"
"You better go already or you will be late at your first class here!
" Goodbye," I walked out of the office and started walking in a random direction. I stared at my schedule. My first lesson was in English. But where? I wanted to get back to the office and ask Crocus about it but someone caught my hand and whispered
"You are new here aren't you?" I saw a short man with a wide beam and eyes looking right into mine. I could help but smile at his happiness and cuteness
"Yes," I whispered back "Why are we whispering?"
"I bet with my friends that I can be quiet for 3 hours and if I stay like that they will buy me everything that I want" he replied "Let's go I will guide you" he started dragging me somewhere
"Hey, where are we going?" I was trying to break free but without any result
After a few seconds, he suddenly stopped causing me bumping into him
"Here" he pointed at the canteen "We can it now, I'm hungry" he was talking quietly
"But I have English soon and I don't want to be late"
"So we have a problem" he was looking like he was thinking really hard now "I will show you, language classes, if you will eat with me later"
"Sure," I said straight away
He let my hand go and we walked towards some classrooms
"How am I supposed to know where I have lessons?" I asked looking at my schedule
"At the back of this paper, you have notes about classes and plan of the building" he chuckled. I felt a little bit ashamed, but hey, how was I supposed to know that?
"By the way, what's your name?" I wanted to change the topic but also was curious who exactly I am talking to
"I'm-" he started, but we heard some loud noise
"YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT YOU SLEPT WITH HER I KNOW IT!" someone screamed
"I TOLD YOU I DON'T KNOW WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT" other shouted
Suddenly the first one kicked the second one. They were fighting for a few seconds, and we were watching them. It was too fast for me to react.
I got back to reality when I heard some laughter. It was a boy who I was walking with, we'll now standing.
"I-is it normal here?" I asked not knowing what to say
"Um, yeah?" It seemed to be an obvious thing to him
He grabbed my hand again and started to run somewhere
"You have lessons soon and I promised you won't be late so let's hurry"
We got there right when the bell rang.
"Thanks" that was the only thing I could say before he disappeared. I got into the class and sat down at the first free chair I noticed. The teacher was already there.
"I guess you are new here. Can you introduce yourself?" he inquired
"I'm (Y/N) and I moved to this city yesterday," I said when I stood up. I didn't want to say anything more. It's not like I got secrets, just I was an average person, nothing interesting
"Right, do you have any questions to this lady?" the teacher said
"Are you free?" some guy with blonde hair weir face asked
"Generally yes, for you-no" I heard loud chucked in the class. I don't know why I said that. Just didn't like this guy and the way he was looking at me
"Ekhm, any other questions?"
There was only silence but I could some people wanting to ask something
The lesson when peacefully. I felt a little bit lonely because I was sitting alone, so I felt happy when the bell rang. I put my things to the back and noticed some girl standing in front of me.
"Hello sweetie" she started "My name is Nami"
"Hi" I smiled warmly
"That guy that you denied is Bellamy and I love you so much for that already!" she hugged me "What lesson do you have next?"
"Math I think"
"Shit! I have an economy. So let's meet at the launch back" before I could say here that I promised someone else to meet up she walked away.
Next class was really boring. I almost fell asleep like most of the class. I walked out of it with my eyes almost closed. I yawn when I hit something
"Ouch! Fucking walls" I said quietly and rubbed my eyes
"You just have Math, haven't you?" I heard deep male voice. My eyes were wide open when realization hit me, the thing that I bumped into wasn't a wall, it was a man.
"Y-yea, sorry" I wanted to walk away, but he grabbed my shoulder
"I can't be mad at someone as cute as you" he whispered. I blushed a little bit, not because what he said but because how close he was.
"T-too close" I my hand on his face and noticed his raven hair covering his eyes. He had freckles all over his face. He was kinda cute with that surprised look on his face. I smiled a mite. My hand was so tiny against him. He started laughing still being close to me, still with my hand on his face.
"We will meet again, munchkin" he patted my head and walked away
"Hey don't call me like that, beanstalk!" that was literally the only thing I could come up with now. He just laughed not even looking back.
After 2 periods there was finally lunch break. I was so hungry that I fell like dying. I walked towards the canteen when someone jumped at me.
"That's good to see that you are still alive!" I heard. I opened my eyes and saw the boy from today's morning
"Oh that's you!" I was happy to see him. He was so cheerful "Did you win the bet with your friends?"
"Nah" he laughed loudly and get off me. He helped me to stand up, and we walked to the canteen
We took a lot of food and sat at the table.
"I thought that this is for everyone" I was surprised when I saw boy eating 5th plate of meat in 2 seconds
"No, he is able to eat a whole pool of meat and still be hungry in 10 seconds" some girl sat down next to me "My name is Vivi" she offered her hand
"I'm (Y/N)" we shook hands when I figured out that I don't know name of the boy "Ymm, by the way what's your name?" I looked at him
"I'm Luffy" he had a giant grin on her face
"Typical Luffy, forcing random people to do what he wants" some guy sat next to him "I'm Zoro and if you better ran before he starts to like you because you won't be able to escape then"
"I'm (Y/N)"
"I already like her so you have to be nice to her" Luffy stack out her tongue
A few more people sat at this table. They are been talking.
"(Y/N)!" you felt someone hugging you
"Nami? You know each other?" the girl with black hair asked
"This is the girl that I told you about" Nami said when she sat down next to me "she is hilarious!"
"Okay guys!" Luffy shouted "I want to invite our new friend to you! (Y/N) this is Zoro, Usopp, Nami, Robin, Chopper and Vivi!" he was pointing at the people at the table
"Nice to meet you" I was trying to sound as confident as I could
"Where is that curly bastard?" Zoro asked
"OO MELLORINE! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ARE SITTING HERE"
"Fuck I jinxed it" green hair man said
"What did you say stupid grassy?" the guy that I think is Sanji said
We were chatting until the bell rang. I got to know a lot about them. They had lots of adventures and fun. I also got to know that they have a few more friends in their crew and a damn sight more not related to the crew.
Rest of my lessons was peaceful, nothing happened besides some fights, some fire alarms that no one really cared about. I can say that I had fun.
