Back in the real world, "Can we help you unpack?" said Joe. "Oh, sure." said Mrs. Duncan. "And you two, and your dog can play with Lori." Lori ran into the house, because she was too shy. The two girls & Wishbone followed Lori into the house. They saw that she had a dog too. Her name was Sasha. "Hello, sweety." she said. Wishbone was amazed. For he had finally met another dog that can talk(not to the humans though). "Oh, wow." said Wishbone. "My name is Wishbone." "Sasha" she said. "Sasha La Fleur. That means The Flower." "I know." said Wishbone. "I've read a lot of French poetry." "Who's your favorite poet?" said Sasha. "Mine is Shakespeare." "Mine too!" said Wishbone. "Do you like stories?" said Sasha. "Do I love 'em?" said Wishbone. "I love them all like Sherlock Holmes, Hercules..." "And Tom Sawyer?" "Yes!" said Wishbone. "You know, Sasha, you remind of a princess in a new story I've started reading."
In the Arabian kingdom, a princess named Badroulbadour is destined to marry a prince, but she only wants to marry a man who truly loves her. Also she is locked away in her castle, forbidden to go out into the world. One night, she sneaks out of her palace & comes across Aladdin. They become friends real soon, but then Aladdin got captured by the palace guards, & was sentenced to prison for eternity. Badroulbadour was very upset about this because she truly loved him.
Emily noticed a stuffed purple T-Rex with a green tummy & 3 yellow toes on each foot in Lori's bedroom. "Can I play with this?" Emily asked. "Don't touch that!" cried Lori as she took the doll away from Emily. "He means so much to me. He showed me why I shouldn't worry about moving. But now that I have moved, I still don't feel any better." Emily & Tina were confused. "How can he have showed you that?" asked Tina. "You don't know?" asked Lori. "Barney told me he helped lots of children feel better." "Lori, I don't think that toy can talk." said Emily. "Yeah, I don't even think it's one of those talking toys." said Tina. "Well you're about to find out how he tells me these." said Lori. Then she started singing her favorite song to her doll.

Just then, sparkles surrounded the whole room before everyone's eyes. Joe & Mrs. Duncan, who were cleaning out the garage, were wondering what on earth was going on upstairs. Then the doll grew big & started singing the song.

Lori & Sasha were filled with happiness & joy when they saw their friend, Barney. But Emily, Tina, & Wishbone were really scared. They ran to the garage to try to tell Mrs. Duncan & Joe about what happened. Joe didn't believe them because they always play jokes on him & his friends, plus he can't hear Wishbone talk. He tried to take them back to Lori's room to see if Barney's actually there. "No, Joe." said Wishbone. "Bad idea! She's got a dinosaur in her room. And dinosaurs are evil!" Mrs. Duncan, however, knew they weren't pranking Joe, as if she knows about Barney.
Joe brought them to Lori's room, where they saw her sitting on the bed by herself, giggling. "You girls have gotta stop pranking me." Joe said as he went back downstairs. Just then, Barney came out of the closet. He was cleaning it for Lori. The girls were still scared, but Barney said "Don't be scared, Emily. I'm not like the scary dinosaurs in the movies your brother watches." "How do you know about my brother?" asked Emily. "I told Barney about you two while you were downstairs." Lori said. "Would you like to give me a big hug, Tina?" said Barney. "I'm nice and soft." Tina was unsure at first, but she, & Emily slowly walked towards Barney to give him a great big hug. "You kinda remind me of these creepy aliens I saw on TV that live in a big meadow." said Emily. "Well you don't have to be afraid of them" said Barney. "because they might be very friendly, like me." "You know, Barney?" said Wishbone. "Yes, Wishbone?" Barney asked. "Whoa!" exclaimed Wishbone. "You can hear me?" "Barney can talk to all different kinds of animals." said Sasha. "Wow." said Wishbone. "Anyway, you, my purple friend, remind me of a magical being from a story." "What kind of magical being?" asked Sasha. "The kind in the story of Aladdin." said Wishbone.
In our story, an evil unnamed sorcerer frees Aladdin from prison, and tells him about a special cave in the desert with all kinds of treasures. They went to the cave, but Aladdin got locked inside by the unnamed sorcerer. Now there is no way to get out. Aladdin was sad. But he found a whole lot of treasures, and two new friends. A magic carpet that can fly, and a genie that comes out of a lamp when you rub it. And no, it's not the kind of lamp that helps you see in the dark, it's kinda like a cup of some sort. "I'm am a genie!" he said. "I will grant you three wishes. But there are a few rules. I can't kill, make people fall in love, or bring people back from the dead. You also can't wish for more wishes. It's a limit thing." "Well, then" Aladdin said. "My first wish is to get out of this cave." "Super-Dee-Duper!" said the genie as he granted Aladdin's wish.
