Brothers Always Forgive

"Oh, man. I screwed up big time," Danny berated himself as he flew fast through the Ghost Zone, looking over his shoulder to see his pursuers were a ways behind him, but still after him, which only made the hero feel worse.

Johnny had wanted to take Kitty someone special for a date but every place was booked. He had told Danny about it and the boy had offered to set up a spot for the two. The biker ghost had at once agreed and was grateful.

Danny had planned it all out, remembering that Kitty liked flowers and so thought a date in a garden would be great. It had been all set up and perfect and he had hidden when the two had arrived with Shadow beside him. The shadow-like ghost decided to be on the lookout while the two ghosts enjoyed their date.

"Oh, Johnny! This is perfect!" Kitty said as she sat down. "Just the two of us and in a garden! How did you find this spot?"

"A friend of mine told me about it," the biker ghost said. "You really like it, babycakes?"

"Yes," she said with a smile before leaning in to kiss him.

Danny was about to take his leave then when all of a sudden, a strange sound happened and Kitty screamed, as did Johnny. "Hey, what gives, man?!" The biker asked in surprise.

The halfa flew up to see what had happened and his eyes widened in horror as he saw the scene before him.

The best way to describe it was that it looked like a rain cloud had opened up right above the couple, creating a large puddle of water that seemed to be growing bigger by the minute before a huge spout of water shot up from the ground, tearing a hole in the picnic blanket and causing the two ghosts to get more soaked. "Who turned on the water?!" Kitty demanded to know.

Going invisible, Danny dove down to see what was going on and saw the problem. Part of the pipes that carried the water had rusted and one had burst and created a geyser right under where Kitty and Johnny had been having their picnic. Quickly, the halfa fixed the pipes with his powers, but knew the damage had been done. He flew up to check on the two and saw Kitty was crying and Johnny was trying to wring out the picnic blanket. The biker looked up and saw Danny. "Danny?" He asked.

Panicking, the halfa flew away, guilt filling him that the date had gone horribly and having a feeling that Johnny, Kitty, and Shadow would no doubt hurt him. "They probably think I did that and was pulling a prank on them," he said to himself as he kept flying.

And here he was, still flying like crazy until he found a spot that looked like it would be a good hiding place, which was good because he was getting tired. He landed and hid behind some tall grass and in a building, making sure he was hidden and trying to catch his breath.

Meanwhile, the three ghosts were still looking for him. "Danny!" Johnny called out, but got no response. "Any luck, Shadow?"

The shadowy ghost shook his head. "Oh, where is he?" Kitty asked in worry.

"He's got to be around here somewhere," Johnny said.

The female ghost sighed. "He must think we're angry at him," she said softly. "That we think he pulled a prank on us."

"No way, Danny wouldn't do that," the biker ghost said. "He helped me plan my date with you by suggesting a private spot and he looked all over until he found it."

"I know, but just the way he looked at us, Johnny," she said. "He looked so scared and horrified."

"I noticed," he said with a nod. "He probably blames himself for those pipes busting."

"But that wasn't his fault," Kitty said firmly. "It was an accident. One that no one could have seen coming."

"Yeah and I think he's the one that stopped it when he found the problem," Johnny said. "We've got to find him and show him we're not mad."

"Well, I was a little upset, but not at Danny," the female ghost said.

"Yeah, same here," he admitted.

Shadow suddenly spotted a speck of silver and grew curious, moving closer before he saw it was Danny and he smirked, diving down before popping up in front of Danny, who yelped and took off rapidly with the shadowy ghost hot on his trail.

Johnny looked up when he heard the yelp and smiled at seeing Shadow was after Danny. "Don't let him get away, Shadow!" He called out.

"Catch Danny!" Kitty said encouragingly.

Danny flew as fast as he could. "No, Shadow! Stay back!" He cried out, not wanting to fight and trying to get away.

Shadow pulled a few teleporting tricks, but Danny dodged him each time, which frustrated the shadow-like ghost before he finally had enough and teleported ahead, hiding behind some rocks and platforms, waiting for the halfa to come flying by.

Danny flew as fast as he could before seeing that Shadow wasn't behind him. "Where did he go?" He asked himself, looking around before something wrapped around him and held fast. "AAAAAAHHHH!"

Shadow was pleased that he had caught the boy, but was concerned when Danny began struggling with all his might. "Shadow, let me go!" He pleaded.

The shadow-like ghost shook his head before flying back to Kitty and Johnny, who were waiting patiently. "There you are, bro," the biker ghost said in relief. "We were worried about you."

Kitty looked concerned as Danny was struggling to get free of Shadow. "Danny, calm down," she said gently, going up to him.

Danny was slowly tiring as Shadow was strong. "Please, I'm sorry!" He cried out. "I swear I didn't know about the water pipes about to burst! I didn't pull a prank on you two!"

"We know you didn't, Danny," Johnny said. "Chill out, man."

But the halfa was too panicked to calm down, to which Kitty gave it some thought before smiling and going up to Danny, checking his pockets in the back of his suit that allowed him to grab a Fenton Thermos or whatever other tool he needed. She found what she was looking for and smiled. "Ah, good. I was hoping you had some," she said, pulling out the Fenton ghost rope.

"Not a bad idea, babycakes," the biker said to his girlfriend with a smile. "Shadow, can you find a good spot to tie up Danny?"

The shadow-like ghost nodded and directed them to where Danny had been hiding and they saw it was an old shed. There were some rings sticking out from the walls and Kitty smiled. "This will do," she said. "Alright, boys. Let's get him tied up nice and good. We don't want Danny getting away from us right away."

The halfa gulped in fear as the three tied him up quickly and he couldn't escape as Shadow still had a good hold on him. "Guys, please," he pleaded.

"Begging will get you nowhere," Johnny said with a smirk.

Danny squirmed, but the Fenton ghost rope held fast. Kitty went up to him and stroked his head. "Danny, calm down. We're not going to hurt you," she said. "But you're not escaping us that easily."

She turned to the other two. "Boys, begin the tickle torture."

Danny squealed as Johnny tickled his stomach and Shadow tickled his underarms. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA! STOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOP!" He pleaded.

"Nope!" Johnny said with a grin. "Cootchie, cootchie, coo!"

He lifted up Danny's shirt to expose his stomach and blew a giant raspberry into it, making the halfa squeal even louder. Kitty giggled. "Hmm, let me try something."

She removed Danny's boots and pulled a ghost feather out of her purse. "Ah, here it is," she said before tickling the boy's feet with the feather.

Danny let out the loudest squeal possible. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STOHOHOHOHOHOP! THAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAT TIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHICKLES!" He pleaded.

"Like I said before, dude, begging will get you nowhere," Johnny said. "Tickle, tickle, tickle! Who's a very ticklish halfa?"

Shadow giggled in Danny's ear while tickling his underarms and neck, making the boy go crazy with laughter. "Aww, look how cute he is laughing when he's being tickled," Kitty cooed. "We should have done this much sooner."

"I agree, babycakes," the biker ghost said, tickling the halfa's ribs while blowing raspberries into his stomach, especially right over his belly button.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! GUHUHUHUHHUHUHUHUHHUYS, PLEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEASE!" Danny begged.

"Nope," Kitty said as she now tickled both his feet with her hands. "Tickle, tickle, tickle! Laugh yourself silly, Danny."

Danny was going nuts with laughter as the three kept tickling him until Shadow noticed the boy's face was turning a dark red and motioned to the other two, who stopped and the boy took some deep breaths to recover. Johnny went up to him and smiled, ruffling the boy's hair. "Danny, Kitty and I know you didn't pull a prank on us," he said. "I don't think anyone knew those pipes were ready to burst."

"And you wouldn't do something mean like that, especially where you were helping my Johnny plan a date for him and me," Kitty said.

The halfa looked at her. "Kitty, I swear I never would," he said. "I managed to fix the pipes, but...the damage had already been done."

"And it wasn't your fault," she said to him with a smile. "So, are you going to stay put? If not, we're going to start up the tickle torture again."

Shadow wiggled his fingers into Danny's underarms, making him squeal with laughter again. "Tickle torture it is," Johnny said with a smirk as he blew more raspberries into Danny's stomach. "Cootchie, cootchie, coo!"

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Danny laughed out, his laughter going higher when Kitty ran the ghost feather teasingly over his neck.

"Who's so ticklish?" She cooed to him.

After a few more minutes, the three stopped the tickle torture and Danny took some deep breaths as Shadow undid the ropes and held him as he recovered. Johnny came up to him and accepted the boy from the shadow-like ghost. The boy looked up at him. "Still, I am really sorry, Johnny," he said.

"Hey, it's cool, little bro. I forgive you," he said. "Cause brothers always forgive each other, especially when accidents happen."

Danny smiled and nodded. "I'll remember that," he said before feeling the ghost hug him and he hugged him back, feeling two other sets of arms come around them and saw it was Kitty and Shadow.

"Thank you, Danny, for being a totally awesome brother to my boyfriend," Kitty said to him.

Shadow smiled and ruffled the boy's hair, making him smile and nod, glad that the three weren't mad at him and promising himself that the next time he helped Johnny plan a date with Kitty, he'd double check everything to make sure nothing surprising would happen.
