Six months. It's been six months since Helga was unjustly cast pit of the kingdom she's slaved for her entire life. Now the once number one celebrity of Burgentown, is reduced to aggressively haggling down the price of a camper, at Tommy's Dealership, ten miles from Burgentown.
"Don't you know who I am?" Helga asks aggressively, "Helga Griswold, Royal Chef of the high king Gristle?"
"Yeah, and I'm the tooth fairy." Tommy responds with a snort," Now this little number is going to run you $2500, and I'm not going any lower."
"All the work I put into the kingdom." Helga moans out as she falls to her knees," All the years of my short, short life, wasted. Broken down, worthless, no hope for returning to my glorious life-style. I have no means to go on, yet I can't even get a camper from one who I tried so hard to make happy. Woe is me, for believing that my life, dedicated to others pleasure, would be torn down and cast away so quickly."
"Are you sure you were a chef?" Tommy asks in a dumbfounded tone.
"Yes?" Chef says uncertainty.
"Oh, alright." Tommy sighs out," Anyways, if you'll stop being dramatic and get off the ground, I might be willing to cut a deal. Just a small one."
"Really?" Helga asks with excitement, popping up as if nothing's wrong," Is it free? I'd love free!"
"I've got a special camper for you, great deal." Tommy says, guiding the dirty and tattered Helga away from the main lot of the dealership," I've had this beauty for a while, but everyone says it's to great a bargain to be true."
"Oh, I can't wait." Helga says with relief," I was hoping to get something as great as me. I'm tired of living on the dirt. When I was the royal chef, I had a bed made of three memory foam mattresses, all covered in the finest silk sheets and down comforters. Oh, what I would give for one more night on that luxury. Where is this wonderful deal?"
"Oh, right over here, your royal chefliness." Tommy says, trying to hide his annoyed groan.
He takes Helga through a door at the back of the dealership, where a small and beat up camper lays next to the dumpster. It's faded colors, a whitish hue with nearly brown red stripes, are caked in dirt and mud to the point that even figuring out the pattern hurts Helga's eyes. The door hangs onto it's fram by what can only be described as sheer hope, and the single window with it's wire net seems to have been punches out, with glass hanging from the monsterish looking bundles of wires. And the smell, oh the smell. Burgens aren't the most cleanly creatures, they're more than willing to admit that, but this camper stinks worse than gym socks used by the same bergen for five years straight without a single wash. Helga wishes her nose would just fall off rather than have to smell anymore. She can't see the inside, but a feeling in her gut makes her know she won't like what she finds.
"What the actual flip-flop is this?" She asks, crossing her arms and pointing in disbelief.
"Your new home." Tommy says with a grin," Here's the best part, it's free. Hurry up and take it, then leave my dealership for good. You drive away the customers due to your bad habits."
"Oh you can't be serious." She says with a groan," This is nowhere near a fit to me."
"Oh really?" Tommy asks holding up his hand to frame the chef with the run down camper," Because I see two dirty and ragged pieces of garbage that deserve each other. Look, I don't care if you were the royal chef, from what I hear she let all the trolls get away, so I wouldn't sell to her anyways. Now, take what I'm giving you, or get out before I get the guards down here to send you to the gallows."
Helga stands back in an awed silence as Tommy slams the door in her face. She looks to the disgusting trailer in stunned silence. She looks down to the ground, where a small pool of stagnant water that reflects her image back to her. He hair sticks out in many directions, mud and twigs stuck in through sticking up in every direction. She can't even remember the last time she had a shower. These past months have been used to try and find the trolls that escapes, digging and looking through the treetops. It's done a number on her thats for sure. She looks back to the trailer once more, approaching slowly.
"We've both been neglected." She says with an exhausted sigh," But I'll show them, I'll show them all."
A wicked grin appears on her face as she moves the small camper slowly. Once she fixes this up, she'll be able to find those trolls that cost her everything. Soon she'll get her revenge on those stupidly colorful home wreckers, and she'll finally make her power the most prominent force in Bergentown once again. Her revenge will be sweet and agonizing to those who'll take it
