Long ago, a great war broke out in the digital world. A war for the world itself. The two sides had a goal to accomplish in this war. One fought to bring peace and happiness to the digital word. While the other fought for total control for the digital world. In the end the one's who won in the end was King drasil and the royal knights. But the war is long away from over.

9. Chapter 9

I have no excuse for the long wait. After seeing tri with its own King Drasil, my ego took a hard hit. Recently, I've regained my spirit to do this story and at last, I've finished this chapter. In this chapter, the rest of the Royal Knights are revealed. I'm sorry if it wasn't what you were expecting, but there will be a few surprises in this chapter. I've also got this idea.

Some day, in one chapter Magnamon and QueenAgewomon are gonna do a special 'healing' after a fierce battle that gets QueenAngewomon pregnant. In the combined forms, they'll be in an adult stage because the fusion actually alters their body and age, maturing their bodies and mind. I explained this idea to a friend of mine and he thinks it is a bad idea and I'm starting to have second thoughts. I thought I should ask you guys what you think. If you don't like the idea, I've got another idea planned to replace this one.

Chapter 9: The Royal Knights' real life identities.

After the battle between the two Demon Lords in the Digital World, everyone went home to relax for a bit, with Laphicet holding onto Impmon the whole time, who tried to not enjoy the ride, but failed. Kari sent a message to the Army of the Light, telling them that her brother was found and will return soon, while Davis sent a message to the team about Laphicet being safe and told them to return to the human world to rest.

Soon Davis and the Kamiya Siblings went separate ways to their homes with DemiVeemon riding on Davis's head. Before they parted, Davis patted Laphicet's head with a smile as his way of saying goodbye, really liking the young child very much for his innocent mind. Soon the Kamiya siblings made it home, with the Kamiya parents welcoming them back happily. Laphicet introduced his partner to his parents, which Mrs. Kamiya thought he was cute, while Mr. Kamiya didn't think he was to tough, untill Impmon almost shot a fireball at him in the face, but missed on purpose, getting the father of the family to shut up straight away.

Right now Laphicet was in the living room, sitting on the couch with Impmon in his arms, who had a not so happy look at how his new partner woudn't let him go. Kari and Gatomon were sitting next to them with the brunette holding her partner Digimon in her hands.

"So Impmon, what's your favorite food, favorite colour and favorite thing to do?" Laphicet asked his new partner with a smile as he kept holding onto Impmon, who had his arms crossed. "My favorite food is pizza and best color to me is black. And I love riding my bike around the world". Impmon answered his new partner, still getting used to being a Digidestined's partner, getting Laphicet to smile.

"Want to go to the park and have fun later today?" Laphicet asked his partner if he wanted to go out and have fun in the park. "Why not. It's better than just being a huggy toy all day''. Impmon said to his partner as he finally let out a smirk on his face, before he hissed in annoyance as the house cat Miko was getting close. Impmon hold up his right hand with his index finger up as a fire ball appearing above it, before he threw it at Miko, missing the cat on purpose, making the cat scream in fright as he ran away.

Kari and Gatomon watched the two with happy smiles on their faces from seeing Laphicet having fun with his new partner, but Gatomon was a little worried since Impmon was a Demon Lord. "Kari? Are you sure we can trust this Demon Lord to protect Laphicet?" Gatomon asked her partner if she was sure that they can trust Impmon to protect Laphicet, getting Kari's attention as she looked at her partner.

"I'm sure that Impmon can be trusted. He protected Laphicet from that other Demon Lord, so he can be trusted". Kari answered her partner, having faith in Impmon to protect her little brother, getting Gatomon to sigh at how trusting Kari was to the ex-Demon Lord so easily.

Mrs. Kamiya was watching her two children from the kitchen with a smile, before she saw something sitting on the couch above Laphicet, getting her to widen her eyes in surprise. "Ahh! A dog!'' Mrs. Kamiya called out in surprise, getting everyone's attention as they looked to see a white dog with a red scarf around its neck with yellow eyes on top of the couch Laphicet was sitting on, before the dog turned to look at Mrs. Kamiya.

"Dogs are small or bigger, stupid, not white and that is offensive! What are you looking at, kid?!" The white dog told Mrs. Kamiya before turning to look at Laphicet, who was looking at the dog in awe that it was talking.

"A Digimon!" Gatomon called out in surprise as she jumped out of her partner's hands and jumped at the dog Digimon, who jumped up at the last second and kicked Gatomon, sending her crashing into the couch next to Laphicet. "His name is Hackmon". A voice answered, getting everyone to turn to see a 14-year-old boy with white spiky hair that defied gravity, light skin, red eyes, wearing a white high collar jacket with long sleeves over a red shirt, black long track pants with white lings, red shoes and white fingerless gloves, who was standing behind the chair that Kari was sitting on, getting her to jump off in surprise.

"Who are you? And why are you here in our house?" Kari questioned the stranger on who he is and why he's here. "My name is Raiden and you've already met my partner Hackmon''. The boy named Raiden replied to Kari with his arms crossed as Hackmon jumped down next to him.

"We've been sent here to collect a girl named Kari, a boy named Laphicet and a guy called Tai''. Hackmon told everyone in the room with a serious look in his eyes, just as Tai came out of his room with his school jacket off, before he saw Raiden's back.

"Hey, whose the new guys?'' Tai asked everyone as he moved forward to grab Raiden's shoulder with his right hand. "Don't kill the messenger, or the messenger will kill you''. Raiden said to Tai without looking at him as he grabbed the older male's hand with his right hand, twisting it before he elbowed him in the stomach, making the Digidestined of Courage gasp with blood coming out as he was sent to the wall from the force of the attack.

"Hey, don't do that to my brother!" Laphicet snapped at Raiden with an angry look, angry that he hurt Tai. "Relax. They're not your enemies!" Impmon called out with his arms crossed, getting Kari, Laphicet and Gatomon to look at the former Demon Lord. "Why would you say that?'' Gatomon asked the Demon Lord on why he would say that Raiden and Hackmon aren't a danger.

"Those two guys are actually members of the Royal Knights". Impmon answered Gatomon without looking at her, getting everyone to gasp as they looked at Raiden and Hackmon, who were glaring at the Virus type Digimon. "Just because you betrayed the Demon Lords and are now a Digidestined's partner, don't get any ideas of us becoming friends''. Hackmon said to Impmon with a glare, still hating him for being a Demon Lord and what he's done in the past. "Whatever white doggy". Impmon replied to Hackmon with a glare of his own.

"Davis asked me to come here and get you guys. So come on, let's move". Raiden told the Kamiya siblings as he started walking out of the house, getting the Kamiya siblings to look at each other, before they went after Raiden and Hackmon, with Gatomon following her partner, while Impmon was still in Laphicet's arms.

Magnamon and Lucemon were in the dark air, fighting each other as they flew around the sky before they unleashed a Blast Attack at each other.

Tai was with Agumon holding his crest with a smile with T, K, Sora, Mimi, Joe, Izzy and Matt holding their crests with their digimon next to them.

(I'll hold it in my hand)

In the forest, Davis created a little golden energy ball, before he started to play with it with Kari watching him and Veemon with Gatomon were sleeping.

(I wannaLaugh like a Crazy!)

Yukio was training in a gravity room with heavy weights on him with his partner Dorumon watching him.

(I'm used to bein' confused!)

In the world tree, King Drasil was watching his chosen knights in his crystal form.

A flash of lightening showed some Dark digimon in the shadows.

Davis punched the air with a smile as he prepared to fight against Evil, before he punches the air in front of him.

(Boredom)

Another flashed showed thirteen Knight digimon in the shadows.

Yukio kicked the air, before he held his right arm out as he continued training.

(Becomes a stone)

Kari was meditating on top of a mountain with Gatomon next to her with her hair blowing in the breeze. She Opened her eyes before a White aura surround her.

(Before it gets too heavy and Falls)

Another flash of Lightening showed seven Demon digimon and the two worlds.

(Let's spread)

Another flash showed a giant monster Digimon.

Magnamon was seen walking with UlforceVeedramon next to him with someone else next to him.

(Our Wings of Excitement)

All thirteen royal Knights were walking to the battlefield with Examon flying above them.

UlforceVeedramon then fired his Ray of Victory attack with Examon firing Pendragon's Glory. Alpamon summoned his Dragon blade with Craniumon holding his spear and shield, while the other Royal Knights prepared to fight and Lucemon smirking at them.

(Let's go to the next world)

Crusadermon slashed at Laylamon with her sword, before she used her Urgent Fear attack at Laylamon. Gallantmon was fighting Beelzemon in the air with his lance and shield before Beelzemon fired his double Impact shot attack at Gallantmon.

(The Door of Possibilities is still Locked)

Beelzemon's attack landed behind Davis and Veemon, who were walking, before Davis and Veemon powered up and became Magnamon and charged.

(Oh Well, I'll break through the wall again)

Magnamon and Lucemon traded blows as they went into the sky before they flew away and charged at each other again.

(Now! Shoot past the Limit Shout! "It's piece of Cake'')

Magnamon road as he powered up more with a more powerful glow around him before he swiped his right arm past the glow and charged at Lucemon with Lucemon charging at him.

(The Invincible me is waitin' there)

Magnamon and Lucemon traded blows before a flash appeared and revealed Magnamon standing there before he jumped back and landed with the other Royal Knights behind him.

Kari, Laphicet, Impmon, Gatomon and Tai have been following Raiden and Hackmon for 30 minutes now, just walking around the city. Soon they've reached the park, with Laphicet holding Impmon in his arms, while Kari held Gatomon in her arms. "We're here!" Raiden called out to the group without looking at them, getting the Kamiya siblings confused. "Are you kidding me? We're in the middle of the freaking park!?" Tai shouted out at Raiden in rage for leading them to the park.

"You've got a lot to learn, you know that? Watch!'' Hackmon told Tai, standing besides his partner before he jumped forward, disappearing. The Kamiya siblings had shocked looks on their faces at what they just saw, while Raiden looked over his left shoulder to look at them. "Follow me''. Raiden told the Kamiya siblings, before he walked forward and disappeared as well. The Kamiya siblings looked at each other, with Gatomon and Impmon doing the same, before they all nodded and walked forward, disappearing as they entered a field.

(With the Kamiya siblings)

The Kamiya siblings slowly opened their eyes to see where they are, before their eyes widened when they saw some kind of building that was tall and wide, showing that it was very big and may have many rooms a few feet away from them. Kari, Tai, Laphicet and the Digimon looked around to see that some kind of energy was around them and the building. Around the field was a rose garden, a training field, a hot spring, a swimming pool and even a lake. "What the hell…!?'' Tai whispered to himself in shock at seeing what just happened, along with the others feeling the same.

"Welcome to our base of operation''. Everyone heard Raiden's voice, getting them to turn to see Raiden and Hackmon standing in front of them with the building behind them. "This place is covered in energy that stops time outside of it whenever we wish. Meaning that when you leave, nothing will change. Your energy and age won't change when you're inside of here and you can use this place as much as you want. This will be our base in the real world, where we can handle training without worry for our lives outside in the human world". Raiden explained to the Kamiya siblings and Digimon with his arms crossed.

"But why bring us here?'' Laphicet asked the Royal Knight on why he brought them here. "Davis and Veemon asked us to bring you guys here because this place will be our meeting, bass, hideout and gateway when we're battling the Demon Lords. Just like we explained, time won't matter here in this space, which means time in the real world won't change, though only if we activated its system that stops time outside. The point is you won't miss anything in the real world when the field around us is active. Right now the field is just covering us, but time outside hasn't froze yet". Hackmon explained to the Kamiya siblings and the two Digimon, telling them about the place that they were currently in.

Kari was about to ask something, when something appeared in front of her and picked her up bride style. The figure revealed to be Kyoya, who had a grin on his face. "You've come at a great time. Why don't I give you a tour of our hideout?" Kyoya offered Kari to explore the hideout, who had a nervous look on her face.

Gatomon, along with Laphicet and Tai were glaring at Kyoya as turned around to walk into the hideout. "Screw off!" Someone yelled out as someone came out of nowhere and kicked Kyoya in the face, sending him to the ground, with Kari now being held bride style by Davis.

"Davis…!'' Kari called out in joy at seeing her boyfriend, who was glaring at Kyoya. "You're not Kari's type! When the hell are you gonna get that through that stupid spiky head of yours?!'' Davis exclaimed at his cousin, who was knocked out from the kick he took. Gatomon, Laphicet and Tai all calmed down when they saw Davis was now holding Kari.

Davis then looked at his girlfriend with a concerned look. "You okay, Kari?'' Davis asked Kari if she was all right, which Kari replied by nodding her head. "I'm fine now that you're here. Could you give me a tour?" Kari replied her boyfriend as wrapped her arms around Davis's neck, making him blush.

"S-Sure". Davis replied to Kari with a nervous look, making her giggle as Davis carried her away to show her around. Gatomon watched the two with a smile. She had heard about the great hero Davis from books of old time, she viewed him as a brave and strong person. She had first thought that he was only interest in Kari for her looks, but now she sees that Davis really loves Kari, making Gatomon happy for her partner.

However, suddenly she felt something take her right hand and began to pull her, getting her to look to see Veemon was the cause. Veemon gave the Champion Level Digimon a happy smile with his eyes close, making Gatomon blush since she thought Veemon's smile was cute.

"Come on! I can show you around as well, you can even keep an eye on Kari as a bonus''. Veemon told Gatomon with a wide smile as they followered their partners. "O-O-Ok". Gatomon nervously replied to Veemon, before she started to smile, feeling happy to spend time and have fun. Davis, Veemon, Kari and Gatomon were soon out of sight, leaving Tai, Laphicet and Impmon with Raiden and Hackmon, along with a knocked out Kyoya.

Raiden and Hackmon were watching with smiles on their faces at seeing their friends being happy again, seeing that they were healing from the pain of losing their past lovers. "You two are coming with me to meet up with the others''. Raiden told Tai and Laphicet, before he grabbed Laphicet and put him on his shoulders, giving him a piggyback ride.

Raiden then grabbed Kyoya's right leg and started dragging Kyoya to the hideout, with Hackmon, Tai and Impmon following, while Laphicet enjoyed the ride.

(With Davis and Kari)

Davis and Veemon have been leading Kari and Gatomon all around the building, giving them a grand tour of their hideout. They have shown them to the gravity room that they will use for training, the garden; the field to do some exercise training and right now the pool.

Kari and Gatomon were currently looking at their reflections in the pool, while Davis and Veemon were behind them. "I'll admit that this pool is beautiful, there's no way I'm getting in there''. Gatomon said to the group as she placed her paws on her hips, not liking water since she's a cat.

Kari sighed with a smile as she kept looking at the pool, which was beautiful. "I wish I brought my swim outfit, because I feel like taking a swim''. Kari said to the group, making Davis widen his eyes. "Wai- Kari you don't wan-!" Davis tried to tell Kari, only for him to be too late as white energy surrounded Kari for a few seconds, before it disappeared to reveal her in a white sparkling bikini top, white sparkling swim shorts and her hair freely lose, only a pink rose was in the front of her hair, making Davis blush bright red at seeing Kari's body and cute swim outfit.

Kari looked at herself in shock as well from seeing the sudden change, with Veemon and Gatomon looking at her in shock. "Davis, care to explain?" Kari questioned her boyfriend with her hands on her hips, wanting an exploration at what has just happened.

"The light can also change your appearance if wanted. What happened just now was an example''. Davis explained to Kari, telling her what just happened to her. Kari looked at herself, seeing that she was barefooted and only wearing her new swim clothes, before she got an idea.

Kari then walked up to Davis, getting him to narrow his eyes, before they widened as Kari kissed him on the lips, making everyone widen their eyes at the sudden action. However, Kari took advantage of this as she somehow used Davis' own weight against him and threw him over her shoulder into the water, causing a splash as he went in. Veemon and Gatomon looked at the pool with wide eyes as Davis resurfaced, only his hair and outfit were now wet.

Kari was giggling at what happened, while Davis was giving her a little glare. "That was a chip shot!" Davis called out at Kari with narrowed eyes, even though he's glad that she is getting used to making surprise attacks. "You taught me to make unexpected moves and that was one of them''. Kari said to her boyfriend as she opened her eyes to look at Davis.

Davis continued to glare at Kari for a bit, before he smirked at her. Suddenly, Kari felt someone push her in the water, making her gasp as she splashed in. Gatomon looked at Veemon with wide eyes at seeing he was the cause, while the Rookie Dragon gave her a playful smirk.

Kari resurfaced; gasping for air, however she didn't notice Davis was behind her till it was too late. Davis restrained Kari from behind, pulling her towards him, making Kari widen her eyes, before she laughed.

"Davis! Come on, let me go!'' Kari called out to her boyfriend playfully with a wide smile, who just grinned at her with his eyes closed. "No way! This is my little payback''. Davis replied to Kari with a smile as he kept her restrained, before he went under, bringing Kari with him.

After a few seconds, both Digidestined came back up, with Kari free from Davis's arms. Kari laughed as she started swimming away from Davis, who swam after her. "Come back here, you little devil!" Davis called out to Kari, feeling happy at have a chance to have fun. "Catch me if you can, Royal Knight!" Kari laughed at her boyfriend as they continued to have fun.

Davis just kept smiling as he soon caught up with Kari and wrapped his arms over Kari, holding her still so she wouldn't escape. The two humans continued to laugh as they enjoyed themselves.

Veemon and Gatomon watched their partners with smiles on their faces, when suddenly Veemon's smile turned into a smirk. Veemon went behind Gatomon, before he pushed her into the water, making Gatomon yell out in surprise as she went in. Gatomon soon resurfaced, only fully wet and glaring at Veemon, who was laughing.

"Haha! I got ya!'' Veemon laughed out in victory, only for him to stop as he felt something wrap around his leg, before he was pulled into the pool as well. Gatomon giggled as Veemon resurfaced as well and glared at her. "That was a sneak attack!'' Veemon called out at Gatomon, even if he was having fun as well.

"Yeah, that's what it's called''. Gatomon replied to Veemon as she kept giggling, before she felt a splash of water hit her face, getting the Champion Level to look to see Veemon was the cause, who had a smirk on his face.

"Of course you know, this means war''. Gatomon said with a smirk as a light appeared around her and grew, before it disappeared to reveal Angewomon in Gatomon's place, with her clothes and hair wet as well. "Let's see how you like this!" Angewomon called out with a smirk, before she then started using her wings to send many splashes at Veemon.

After 10 seconds, Angewomon stopped using her wings to see what happened to Veemon, only for her to look in surprise to see that Veemon changed forms. He was now a hummanoid dragon with white wings and a 'X' on the front of his body. "Oh yeah! I don't think you've been introduced to my Champion form, ExVeemon!" The Digimon known as ExVeemon called out with a smirk, before he started using his wings to send splashes at Angewomon, making her laugh at ExVeemon's actions.

Angewomon then came up with a way to stop Exveemon from keep splashing her, so she went forward and gave Exveemon a hug. Exveemon's face turned bright red at Angewomon's actions, who was blushing as well, but kept hugging Exveemon. Davis and Kari saw this happened to their partners and smiled at seeing the two Digimon have fun as well.

(With Tai)

Tai, Laphicet and Impmon have been following Raiden and Hackmon for a few minutes now and were now in a hall like room, where they saw the rest of the Digidestined there with their Digimon, even Mimi, Palmon and Agumon were there. "Guys!" Tai called out with a smile as he and Laphicet ran over to the rest of the Digidestined, who waved at them in greeting. "Tai!" Agumon called out in joy as he jumped into his partner's arms and hugged him, which Tai returned happily, while Impmon just walked over with his arms crossed.

"Hi Laphicet''. Sora greeted the new Kamiya happily with her eyes closed as she gave Laphicet a hug, which he returned happily. "Hi Sora''. Laphicet replied to Sora happily with his eyes closed, while Biyomon flew close to the two humans. "So, this is the little boy you told me about, Sora?" Biyomon asked her partner with a smile as Sora and Laphicet looked at the Rookie Level Digimon. "Yup. Laphicet, this is my partner Digimon, Biyomon". Sora introduced Laphicet to Biyomon with a smile.

"Hi Biyomon''. Laphicet greeted Biyomon happily with a smile. "Hi Laphicet''. Biyomon replied to Laphicet with a smile as she kept flying. Soon the other partner Digimon greeted Laphicet with smiles as well, with the Digidestined watching with smiles. "Since you guys introduced me to your partners, I want you to meet my partner Digimon". Laphicet said to the Digidestined with a smile, getting everyone's attention as the young boy went to Impmon and picked him up in his hands, with his arms wrapped around the Virus Digimon's stomach.

"This is my partner Digimon, Impmon. Say hi''. Laphicet said happily to everyone as he introduced everyone to his partner Digimon, who held his face with his hands. "What up''. Impmon greeted the Digidestined and Digimon in a grumpy tone.

All the Digidestined looked at Impmon in wonder, while the Digimon just stared at the Virus Rookie in confusion, who quickly began annoyed. "STOP STARING AT ME, OR I'LL BURN THE LOT OF YOU!" Impmon shouted out in rage, before he brought his two arms up into the air as a giant ball of fire appeared in the air.

Everyone gasped in horror at what they were seeing, while Laphicet looked at the fireball in awe. "We're sorry!" All the Digidestined and Digimon shouted out an apology, hopping that Impmon would calm down, which he did as the giant ball of fire disappeared. "Pussies!" Impmon cried out as he crossed his arms and looked to the side. "Well that was enjoyable''. Raiden remarked with a smirk as he crossed his arms, while Hackmon smirked as well. Next to the two, Kyoya's Veemon kept an eye on his knocked out partner.

"Anyway, the reason why you're all here is to check the place out and meet the members of the Royal Knights in real life!" Raiden called out to the group of Digidestined and Digimon, getting them all to look at him. "Meet the Royal Knights in the real world?" Matt questioned with wide eyes at what Raiden said, which Hackmon nodded to him. "Yes, but first let's go find the others''. Hackmon said to the group as he and Raiden started walking away to search for Davis, Veemon, Gatomon and Kari, while everyone else followed them with Veemon carrying Kyoya.

(Back with Davis and Kari)

After playing in the water for a while, everyone got out and started drying themselves up. Kari was standing up as she used a pink towel to dry herself off, while Davis was using Flamedramon's flames to quickly dry himself and Flamedramon up, before his clothes appeared over him again.

'That was fun, I only wished Laphicet was here to enjoy it with us'. Kari thought to herself as she finished drying herself off with her clothes appeared around her again. However, that was then Kari noticed something about her partner Digimon, who was drying herself off in her Ultimate Level form. Angewomon was using a white towel to dry her hair, but that was not the thing that had Kari's attention.

It was Angewomon's…breasts.

'Why…is there a difference?' Kari thought to herself as she looked down at her own breasts, which was small compared to Angewomon's breasts. 'It's not fair. Why is Angewomon's breasts bigger'. Kari thought to herself as her eyes turned anime white, while anime tears went down her checks, before she took off running, getting Davis and the Digimons' attention.

"Kari, where are you running off to?" Davis asked in surprise at seeing Kari run off, while Angewomon and Flamedramon returned to Gatomon and Veemon, with the two Digimon confused at Kari's actions.

However, that was then when all the other Digidestined and their partner Digimon, along with Raiden, Veemon, Kyoya and Hackmon showed up behind Davis. "Davis!" Tai called out to the Miracle Knight, who didn't look at him. "Guess I got no choice''. Davis said to himself as he looked at Tai and the others, along with their Digimon.

"You guys stay with them''. Davis said as he pointed right with his right hand, before he took off after Kari with Veemon and Gatomon following after him, leaving everyone confused. "Them?" All the Digidestined and Digimon questioned in confusion as they turned to look at what Davis was pointing at, before they paled.

There…standing a few feet away from them was Rose and her Floramon, using Kyoya and his Veemon as a couch, with the pink haired girl holding a pink whip in her left hand. "So…I'll be looking after the Digidestined and their Digimon then, huh?" Rose asked with an evil smirk on her face as she used her whip to hit the ground. "YYYYYAAAAA!" Yolei, Sora, Hawkmon and Biyomon shouted out in horror at what they're about to experience.

(With Kari)

Kari has run from the secret hideout to the forest that was part of the energy field, crying on a tree, thinking about why the fates were so cruel to her. "Why…why is fate so cruel to me?" Kari whined as she cried anime tears like a waterfall. "There you are! Care to explain why you suddenly ran out?" Davis asked as he walked up to Kari from behind with his hands in his pockets, along with Gatomon and Demiveemon on his shoulders.

"How much longer are you going to keep following me!?" Kari snapped at her boyfriend, making his raise an eyebrow at her, while Gatomon was confused at why Kari was acting like this. "As long as you keep running like this". Davis replied to Kari, willing to keep following her every time she runs away from them. Kari kept silent as she kept her back to her boyfriend, before she decided to ask him what he thinks.

"Davis… are you disappointed that my breasts are so small?" Kari asked Davis on what he thought of her breasts, refusing to turn around to look at him. "That's what's wrong with you? You gotta be kidding me!" Davis replied casually with no hint of amusement in his voice, getting Kari to look at him in confusion.

"The size of breasts doesn't really matter to me. You can't help how your breasts grow, or how they turn it, it's part of you and you can't change that. So if anybody makes fun of you because of your breasts, if you want my personal opinion, grab a bag of lemons and smack them silly till they say uncle''. Davis told Kari with a smirk on his face, making Kari and Gatomon giggle, while Demiveemon smiled at his partner.

However, surprisingly Davis went and picked Kari up over his right shoulder with his right hand just above her butt. "Now if you're done bitching, we gotta get back to the others''. Davis told Kari as he started walking back to where the hideout is, with Gatomon and Demiveemon following the two humans. Kari was silent, but was blushing from the way her boyfriend was carrying her.

The others currently were… scared.

Actually more like terrified as they watched Rose punish Kyoya. Davis's cousin had made the mistake of grabbing Rose's rear behind when he was still knocked out, which got him a rude wake up call.

Rose had tied him up and was now slapping him in the face over and over again, while having this really evil look on her face. Their partners were acting as if this was normal, talking to each other casually. Raiden and Hawkmon left a little bit ago to get someone to join them. "You dared to touch me!? Face divine retribution!" Rose roared out as she created a really big pink energy like hammer, almost making everyone's eyes pop out in shock.

"Ha…ha…ha… I REGRET NOTHING!" Kyoya shouted out, before Rose slammed her hammer on his head, making him gasp out, before he fell to the ground with a large lump on his head. "Ahh, justice is delivered". Rose sighed in pleasure as she held her energy hammer over her left shoulder.

"Okay, I admit that Kyoya deserved that for not apologizing, but still it's humiliating to watch my partner to get his ass handed to him". Kyoya's partner Veemon remarked, looking down at his knocked out human partner. "Wow, you guys haven't changed". A male voice commented, getting everyone to turn around to see a new arrival.

It was a 13-year-old boy with two Dracomon with him. The boy had wild untamed red hair, tan skin, red eyes, wearing a silver short sleeve jacket over a red shirt, dark grey long pants and red sport shoes. "Drax!" Rose, and a now wild awake and mysteriously healed Kyoya called out in joy at seeing their comrade, who gave them the thumbs up.

"Drake! Ryoko! Hey pals!" Kyoya's Veemon called out in joy as he and Floramon ran up to the two Dracomon, who smiled at them. "How ya doing? You guys looked like it hasn't been seven years". The boy named Drax greeted his comrades with a smile as he gave Rose a hug and Kyoya a fist bump.

"We're doing well. It feels like we haven't been apart for so long. Right Rose?" Kyoya asked the pink haired girl, who gave him a happy smile. "Indeed. I haven't felt this happy in a long time". Rose said with a smile, suprising everyone at how she wasn't angry with Kyoya anymore. "Good to hear". One of the Dracomon said with a smile, his tone gentle and kind.

Behind the Royal Knights, the Digidestined were wondering who Drax and the two Dracomon were. Drax took notice of their confused looks, so he thought he should introduce himself and his Digimon. "So, you guys are the Digidestined, huh? I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Drax, and these are my two Digimon partners, Dracomon, but I like to call them Drake and Ryoko. Together, we make the Dragon Emperor Royal Knight, Examon". Drax introduced himself and his partners to the Digidestined, making Tai, Yolei, Sora, Izzy, Cody, T.K and their Digimon partners widen their eyes.

"No way! You guys were that big dragon?" Tai questioned in shock as he pointed his right index's finger at Drax, who chuckled along with his Dracomon. "Are people really that surprised at our combined form's size?" The other Dracomon asked, his voice deep and confident.

"It's to be expected. As far as we know, Examon is the largest Digimon in the world!" Floramon called out, thinking about all the largest Digimon she's seen and Examon takes the title of being the biggest one yet. "Sorry we up and left, but we had to get someone!" Everyone heard Raiden's voice, getting them to turn to see him and Hackmon walking up to them.

However, accompanying them was a 14-years-old boy with duo long colour hair, which is half white and purple. He is wearing a white shirt with purple highlights, silver track pants and white boots. With the boy was a Candlemon, who was floating besides him. At the sight of the two, Rose and Floramon began blushing.

"Hey Wyn!" Kyoya called out as he waved at the new boy. "Candlemon, long time no see!" Kyoya's Veemon called out, waving to the Candlemon. The boy called Wyn and Candlemon waved back at Kyoya and his partner. Rose and Floramon walked up to Wyn and Candlemon with nervous looks, getting both of their attention.

"H-hi, Wyn". Rose nervously greeted the due haired boy, too nervous to look him in the eye. "Candlemon, you're looking good. How's your candle?" Floramon asked the Data type Digimon, looking down to avoid eye contact.

Wyn and Candlemon both smiled at Rose and Floramon. "It's nice to see you again Rose. How's things been since 7 years ago?" Wyn asked the pink-haired girl, who blushed even more. "Oh, things have been alright. What about you?" Rose replied to the 14-year-old, wondering how he's been doing.

"I've been doing alright. I showed Candlemon to my family and they like him, so I won't have to hide him back home. What about your family? Have you told them about Floramon?" Wyn asked Rose, who lost her blush and looked down, avoiding his gaze. That was all they needed to know her answer.

"You know you can't hide Floramon forever". Raiden told his comrade with his arms crossed. "I know that, it's just that…" Rose tried to speak, before she stopped herself. "You're afraid that they'll reject Floramon. Considering it was a Digimon that…" Kyoya began before he stopped, thinking about Rose's sister, who was killed by a Digimon.

"I haven't even told them that I've re-joined the war against the Demon Lords. I'm afraid they'll keep me from even going to the Digital World". Rose explained to her comrades as Floramon held her partner's left hand, looking at her in concern. "Don't be afraid". Wyn told the Knight of Roses, getting Rose and Floramon to look at him and Candlemon.

"You're not the type of person who lets others control your life, you live your life as you see fit and let no one control your fate. I've always admired that about you. You're one of the strongest people I know and I know you won't ever let that change". Wyn told Rose with a confident smile, making her slowly regain her blush at his words and his knowledge about her.

"Same to you Floramon. You've never let anything get in between you and Rose, and I trust you aren't planning to let that change". Candlemon told Floramon, making her blush at his words. "Thank you, Wyn". Rose thanked the due hair colored boy, her hands on her blushing cheeks. "You know what? You're right Candlemon!" Floramon called out with a confident smirk, making Candlemon smile.

Behind the group of old friends, the Digidestined and their Digimon watched with curiosity, especially towards Rose since she was acting different compared to how she usually acts. Kyoya and Veemon saw the confused looks, getting them to let out a sly smirk as they leaped towards them. "Rose and Floramon have the hots for Wyn and Candlemon". The two partners told the Digidestined and their Digimon, who finally understood why Rose and Floramon were acting like this.

Somehow, Rose and Floramon heard them because they gained a fiery aura around them. "KYOYA! /VEEMON!" Rose and Floramon yelled out with their eyes shadowed, causing Kyoya and his Veemon to start sweating nervously as they turned around. "Oh no". The two partners said as they slowly took step backs, before they began running as Rose and Floramon chased after them.

Kyoya and Veemon run as fast as they could with Rose and Floramon chasing them. The four were running around the group of humans and Digimon. The Digidestined and Digimon were surprised at Rose and Floramon's 360, while the other Royal Knights brought Wyn and Candlemon over tp them.

"Wyn, Candlemon, these are the Digidestined and their partner Digimon. They protected the Digital World in our absence". Hackmon introduced Wyn and Candlemon to the Digidestined and their Digimon, standing next to his partner. Wyn and Candlemon looked at the Digidestined and their partners, before they gave a bow.

"It's an honor to meet all of you. You have our gratitude protecting the Digital World in our absense". Candlemon thanked the Digidestined and their partners, bowing his head with his flame burning a little more. "My name is Wyn and this is my partner Candlemon. Together, we make the Sky High Wyvern Royal Knight, Dynasmon". Wyn introduced himself and his partner to the Digidestined and their Digimon.

"Wow, he's nicer than what I was expecting". Sora commented, having not expected such a well-mannered kid. "Oh, don't underestimate them. They may not look like it, but Wyn and Candlemon pack a hell of a punch". Drax told the group of Digidestined, giving a grin that showed his razor sharp teeth.

"Shouldn't we do something about them?" Hawkmon questioned, pointing to the running forms of Kyoya, Veemon, Rose and Floramon, who were still playing cat and mouse. "Give it some time, they're just having fun". The Dracomon with the gentle tone told Hawkmon, giving a shrug.

Rose and Floramon cried out as they leaped at Kyoya and Veemon, about to catch them. However, suddenly a crimson lance appeared, striking the ground between the four. Kyoya, Veemon, Rose and Floramon were pushed back by the force the lance carried when it stroke the ground.

Everyone turned to face a 13-year-old boy walking up to them with a Guilmon next to him. The boy had crimson hair, pale skin, brown eyes, wearing a crimson hoodie jacket over a black shirt, white track pants and red crimson shoes. "Argh, Yukimura!" Rose called out in annoyance, naming the unknown boy.

"Rain of Pollen!" Floramon called out as she thrust out her pollens from the flowers on her hands out at Yukimura and Guilmon. "Rock Breaker!" The Guilmon called out as it slammed its right claw into the ground, kicking up rubble. The rubble acted as a shield as Floramon's Rain of Pollen stroked it instead of Guilmon and Yukimura.

"You still have a short temper as ever". Yukimura stated with an amused smile on his face as Rose's face turned bright red in anger. "I guess what they say is true. A rose always has its thorns". The Guildmon commented with a smirk on his face. "That's it! Prepare for a world of hurt!" Rose cried out as she leaped at Yukimura with pink energy surrounding her right fist.

At the very last second, Guilmon leaped away, while Yukimura just held up his left hand. Suddenly a crimson energy shield appeared in front of Rose with her fist slamming into it, creating a small shockwave. Rose's body started shaking as she landed on her feet. "Damn it…not again". Rose groaned out with anime white eyes, before she fell onto her back. "I keep telling you, think before you act. It'll do you some good". Yukimura told the knocked out Rose with a small smile.

Floramon, Candlemon and Wyn gathered around Rose with the due hair colored boy gently picking her up, while Yukimura and Guilmon walked up to the Digidestined and their Digimon, who were surprised at how easily he man-handled Rose. "It is an honor to meet you all. I am Yukimura and this is my partner, Guilmon". Yukimura introduced himself and his partner to the Digidestined.

"Hi there". Guilmon greeted with a smile, waving his left hand. "And when we Resonance Digivolve, we become the Royal Knight, Gallantmon". Yukimura finished as he gave a small bow to the now confused Digidestined and their Digimon. "Resonance Digivolve?" Cody questioned, having never heard of Resonance Digivolve, making Yukimura look at his comrades as he saw Rose beginning to wake up.

"You haven't told them yet?" Yukimura questioned his comrades as he lifted up his right eyebrow at them. "In our defence, Davis and Veemon have been spending the most time with them". Raiden said in defence, before looking around as he wondered where Davis and his Veemon were.

"Resonance Digivolution is where we fuse with our partners to form a new Digimon. We'll explain more about it when everyone is here". Guilmon told the Digidestined and their Digimon partners to help them understand. "Excuse me, but is your name really Yukimura?" Izzy asked the 13-year-old, getting his attention.

"It is actually. My parents named me after Japan's greatest warrior from the Sengoku period". Yukimura replied to the bearer of Knowledge, whose face lit up in realization. "Nobushige Sanada?" Izzy questioned Yukimura, who gave him a smirk and a nod. "You got it". Yukimura answered, giving Izzy a thumbs up.

"Now you've done it! Prepare to get your ass kicked, Yukimura!" Rose roared out as she jumped back on her feet, angry that Yukimura used an old trick on her. Yukimura sighed as he turned around to face Rose, only for everyone's attention to turn at hearing a new voice. "I should have expected that the first thing I see when I arrive would be you two bickering". A voice stated as a new figure showed himself with an Elecmon.

The figure was a 14-year-old boy with short blond hair, slightly pale skin and yellow eyes. The boy was wearing a yellow vest over a long brown shirt, long white pants, yellow fingerless gloves and finally brown boots.

"Yo, Ari!" Drax greeted the new arrival with a friendly smile as he gave the boy now named Ari a smile. "Hey Drax, how ya doing?" Ari greeted the 13-year-old with a smile, waving back. "Long time no see Elecmon". One of the Dracomon greeted the Data type Digimon, the one with the confident tone.

"Likewise Ryoko, you're looking well". The Elecmon replied to the confident Dracomon, revealing what his nickname is. Ari looked at Wyn, who looked at his friend, before he nodded. "Rose, please stop?" Wyn gently asked Rose, who turned and blushed at Wyn. "W-well if you insist Wyn". Rose replied to the due haired boy, looking down so she wouldn't meet his gaze.

Kyoya sneaked up next to Ari, who looked at the younger boy. "Thanks for saving our hides. I'm pretty sure when Rose was done with Yukmura, she'd go after me again". Kyoya thanked Ari, breathing a sigh of relief. "Perhaps you should keep your big mouth shut and that'll save you from a beating courtesy of Rose". Ari advised his friend, placing his left hand on his forehead in exhaustion at how he seems to be the only one who uses his brain.

Ari and Elecmon turned to look at the Digidestined and their Digimon partners, however that was when Ari noticed Yolei looking at him with a blush on her face. "Is…something the matter?" Ari asked the lavender haired girl, a little nervous of the look she's giving him. "You're kinda cute". Yolei answered, making Ari raise an eyebrow at her. "Well, thank you for your kind words". Aria thanked Yolei, starting to get a little nervous around her.

"Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Ari and this is my partner Elecmon". Aria began as he introduced himself and his partner. "And together we make the Royal Knight, Leopardmon". Elecmon finished for his partner as he got up on two feet. "Pleasure to make your aquatints". Ari added as he gave a short bow.

"Aww man, we're late!" A friendly voice complained, getting everyone to turn to see a 13-year-old boy with brown hair and green eyes. The boy had what looked like a white scarf around his neck, a white hoodie jacket over a blue long sleeve shirt, red gloves, black long pants and red shoes.

"Suck it up Sorey, you're not the last one here!" Kyoya exclaimed, naming the boy who rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed look. "That's good at least, but I was hopping to be the first one here". Sorey said with an embarrassed, but friendly smile on his face. "I told you to forget about that ice cream". A male voice said from out of nowhere, making the Digidestined and their partners widen their eyes.

"Who said that?" Matt questioned, as he looked left and right to find the owner of that voice. "It sounded close!" Gabumon stated, looking for the culprit with his partner. "I'm right here". The same voice stated, getting the Digidestined and their Digimon to look at Sorey and saw his 'scarf' move. "Ahhh! A talking scarf!" Mimi screamed out in fear, pointing at the 'scarf'.

"This isn't a scarf. It's my partner, Kudamon". Sorey said as the 'scarf' was revealed to be a white Kuda-gitsune Digimon with a white ring around him that looks similar to Gatomon's tail ring. "That wasn't exactly a good first impression, you know that?" Kudamon told Mimi with his eyes narrowed, not liking how they called him a scarf.

Mimi blushed red in embarrassment, before she began to repeatedly bow her head. "I'm so so sorry! Please forgive me!" Mimi begged for forgiveness for the misunderstanding, making Kudamon sigh before he smiled at the girl. "It's alright, it's not the first time someone mistook me for a scarf". Kudamon told the bearer of sincerity, who sighed in relief.

"So, how's things been Sorey?" Kyoya asked his friend as he wrapped his right arm around Sorey's shoulders, with Kudamon jumping off and landing on the ground. "Great, earlier today, my family moved here to Odaiba". Sorey replied to his friend, who smirked at his words. "Awesome, my family just moved here as well. Guess we'll be seeing more of Davis, Veemon and the Digidestined". Kyoya said, looking happy that he and Sorey will be spending more time with his cousin.

"Speaking of the Digidestined, I should introduce myself". Sorey stated as he removed Kyoya's arm around his neck. Sorey held his right hand out to his partner as Kudamon jumped onto his arm and went back to being around his neck. "Don't you mean us, old friend?" Kudamon asked his partner with a smile, who let out an embarrassed laugh.

"Yeah, you're right". Sorey replied to his partner, before he walked up to the group of Digidestined and their Digimon. "Hi there, it's nice to meet you. My name's Sorey and you've already met my partner Kudamon". Sorey introduced himself and his partner, who gave a smile.

"And together we make the Royal Knight, Kentaurosmon!" Sorey added, giving a proud look. "You seem quite nice". Sora commented with a smile, getting Sorey's attention. "Thanks, you seem nice too, not to mention pretty. What's your name?" Sorey asked Sora, making her blush from his words, while Tai narrowed his eyes at the 13-year-old.

"My name's Sora Takenouchi and this is my partner, Biyomon". Sora introduced herself and her partner to Sorey and Kudamon. "Hey, both our names start with S! What a coincidence!" Sorey pointed out, making the 14-year-old girl giggle. "You seem small, but tough". Biyomon said to Kudamon, who jumped off his partner's neck and was now in front of her.

"Thank you for the complement". Kudamon thanked Biyomon for her words, giving her a smile. Suddenly a whirlwind appeared out of nowhere, almost blowing the Digidestined and their Digimon flying, while the Royal Knights and their partners weren't affected. Soon the whirlwind disappeared to reveal a 14-year-old boy with a Kotemon by his side.

The boy had dark purple shaggy hair, pale skin and black eyes. The boy was wearing a purple long sleeve shirt, black gauntlets, dark grey pants and black boots. "Do you always have to do a dramatic entrance, Isa?" Yukimura asked the boy, who turned to look at the 13-year-old.

"Apologizes, but it just happens". The boy now named Isa replied to Yukimura as Guilmon walked up to the Kotemon with a friendly smile. "Hey Kotemon, find any strong Digimon to fight back in the Digital World?" Guilmon asked the Kotemon, who looked at the taller Digimon with narrowed eyes.

"Unfortunately no, all the Digimon of this era are proving to be pushovers. So far besides the Demon Lord's Digimon, I can't find someone that'll give me a challenge". Kotemon answered, his voice being young, but sharp. "Give it some time. I'm sure there's a Digimon that'll give you a run for your money". The Dracomon with the gentle tone called Drake, told his comrade, who sighed before he nodded.

"So, these are the Digidestined? They don't look like much". Isa remarked as he noticed the Digidestined, getting Matt to narrow his eyes at him. "Hey pal, haven't you ever heard that appearance isn't everything?" Matt questioned as he walked up to Isa, with the two 14-year-olds being the same height.

"I have, but you don't appear to be strong. The opponents you will face in this war will be unlike anything you've ever face before. You'll not only fight for your partner's and your own life, but the lives of so many innocents, both humans and Digimon". Isa answered, not the least bit intimated by Matt, who frowned in confusion by his words.

"What are you talking about?" Matt questioned Isa once again, who frowned. "So, you don't know yet. You'll learn soon and we'll see if you have the guts to fight with what's at stake". Isa replied as he walked away from Matt, who still looked confused. "Don't be confused. Isa is just showing his concern in his own way". Kotemon told Matt, before he followed after his partner.

"So, are we having a party?" A voice questioned, getting everyone to turn to see a new arrival with a Gotsumon by his side. The new arrival was a 15-year-old boy that had tan skin, brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a white jacket over a yellow shirt, crimson fingerless gloves, black jeans and yellow boots.

"Must be, because you're late, Aziel". Ari answered the 15-year-old, who smirked at him. "That may be true, but at least I'm not the last one here! Isn't that right, my rock man?" The 15-year-old, named Aziel asked his Gotsumon, who nodded to him. "Yeah, looks like the others are gonna earn the award for being late!" The Gotsumon called out in agreement to what his partner said.

"Aziel". Raiden said as he walked up to Aziel, who gave him a big grin. "Raiden, how ya doing my main man?" Aziel asked his best friend, wrapping his right arm around his shoulder, bringing Raiden a little too close for comfort. "I've been well. What about you?" Raiden asked his old friend, getting a little distance from him.

"Oh, I've been having a hell of a time! Gotsumon and I have been kicking Demon Lord ass all day yesterday! It's just like the good old days where we had such fun!" Aziel told his best friend with a grin, making Cody narrow his eyes in disgust.

"Fun? You call fighting with so many innocent lives at stake fun?" Cody questioned as he stepped forward, getting Aziel's attention as he looked at the younger boy. "Yeah, I mean it is dangerous, but it's fun". Aziel answered, making Cody look even more disgusted. "How can someone like you be a Royal Knight? Lives are at stake and all you care about is having fun?" Cody questioned angrily, starting to hate Aziel.

Aziel lost his grin as he pulled his arm away from Raiden and walked up to Cody, stopping in front of the 9-year-old. "You're such a child!" Aziel told Cody with a cold glare on his face, making Cody widen his eyes in fear at his tone. "I know full well what is at stake and what the consequences are if we fail. Even IF we win, we could still lose". Aziel began to explain, confusing Cody by his words.

"What do you mean? If we win, we will save many innocents?" Cody questioned, not understanding what Aziel means. "They will be safe from the Demon Lords perhaps, but maybe not from us". Aziel answered the 9-year-old, confusing Cody even more. "War takes its toll on us, we slowly lose ourselves to it. First we'd lose emotion, then companionship and finally ourselves. We could become the very thing we hate". Aziel began as he walked past Cody, who widened his eyes before he turned to face the Royal Knight's back.

"You're wrong! There's no way that we'd-" Cody began, only for Aziel to interrupt him. "You are a prime example". Aziel stated, stopping Cody dead in his tracks. "You've seen the cruelty of the world, have you not? 9-year-olds don't act as mature as you. Besides, I can see it in your eyes. You have the eyes of someone who's lost a parent, correct?" Aziel asked the young boy, making Cody gasp in disbelief.

"H-How did you…?" Cody questioned the 15-year-old in shock that he knows that his father's dead. "The eyes are the windows to the soul. The death of your parent has made you loose what made you a normal child. Tell me, do you still have fun as you used to before your lost?" Aziel asked the 9-year-old as he turned to face him, but Cody couldn't answer.

"As I thought. Because of your lost, you've lost what made you who you used to be, now you may be wiser, mature and aware of danger, but you only see the ugliness and not the beauty of the world. In this war, we don't fight just the Demon Lords, we fight the cruelty of war to stay who we are and not lose sight of what it is we are fighting for. One of the major ways to keep your soul is to have something you've had since childhood". Aziel explained to Cody, who finally met his gaze.

"And what's that?" Cody asked the 15-year-old, starting to see the meaning of his words. Aziel knelt down to Cody as he answered. "Have fun". Aziel answered, before he ruffled up Cody's hair. "Remember to always keep sight of who you are and never let anything change that. Your father Hiroki Hida, would want that". Aziel told the 9-year-old, before he stood up and walked away, leaving Cody to his thoughts.

"Your partner is as wise as always". Hawkmon commented after watching Aziel and Cody, watching next to Gotsumon. "Yeah. He may not look like it, but I think he likes the kid". Gotsumon said to his old friend, noticing his partner look at Cody one last time.

Meanwhile the other Digidestined and their Digimon had just witnessed Aziel and Cody with looks of disbelief and had to admit that the 15-year-old had a bit of a point. Suddenly, someone held an ice cream cone in front of Laphicet, making the 8-year-old widen his eyes in surprise. "Want some kid?" A voice asked the young Kamiya sibling, getting everyone to turn to see a 14-year-old boy was the one holding the ice cream out for Laphicet.

The boy had long blue hair that reached half of his back, pale skin and blue eyes. The 14-year-old was wearing a white open jacket over a blue shirt, red fingerless gloves on his hands, black track pants and white shoes. And besides the 14-year-old was a Agumon and Gabumon, who were eating their own ice creams.

"Thank you". Laphicet thanked the 14-year-old with a smile as he took the ice cream with his right hand, before he began to enjoy himself. The 14-year-old gave a gentle smile as he rubbed Laphicet's head with his right hand. "An Agumon!" Tai called out in surprise, looking at the Agumon that was eating ice cream. "Not to mention a Gabumon!" Matt added, looking at the Gabumon that looks like his own Gabumon.

The two Digidestined, along with their Digimon were surprised to see that this new guy had the same Digimon partners as them. "That's right. Nice to meet ya Tai Kamiya and Matt Ishida!" The 14-year-old greeted as he gave a wave at Tai and Matt. "The only difference is that I'm more fit". The Agumon next to the 14-year-old stated, which ticked Tai's Agumon off.

"You calling me fat?!" Tai's Agumon questioned angrily, getting the other Agumon to sigh. "Temper, temper. I didn't call you fat alright, you just look like you don't work out". The other Agumon told Tai's Agumon as he finished his ice cream. "I'm not trying to insult you, okay. You're just…not what I was expecting". The other Agumon explained, giving his kin a small smile.

"What he means is that he was expecting a hard core Agumon who's trained his whole life, but you didn't fit his expectations". The other Gabumon explained as he finished his ice cream as well. "Yeah, that's it. Sorry if I insulted you". The unknown Agumon apologized to his kin, giving a small bow.

"Ahh man, you're making it to hard to be mad at ya. Okay, I forgive you". Tai's Agumon accepted his kin's apology, giving a smile. Yukimura walked up to the 14-year-old, who faced him with a smile. "Yukimura, it's nice to see you again". The 14-year-old greeted Yukimura, who gave him a smirk. "Long time no see Ryujin". Yukimura greeted the 14-year-old now named Ryujin, holding up his right fist for a fist bump, one that Ryujin returned instantly.

"Agumon, Gabumon, I see you two are still kicking". Guilmon greeted Ryujin's Agumon and Gabumon, who smirked at the Virus type. "Kicking and ready to kick some demon ass". Gabumon greeted his comrade with a smirk as blue flames appeared at the corners of his mouth, before disappearing.

"Guess that leaves Davis and Yukio to be the last ones to show up". Wyn commented, noticing that Davis and the last member of the Royal Knights were not among them. "Technically, I was the first one here!" Davis' voice called out, getting everyone to turn to see Davis, Kari, Gatomon and Veemon walking up to the group.

"Davis!" Sorey called out as he and Kudamon ran up to their comrades, who smiled at them. "Hey Sorey, nice to see you again". Davis greeted his friend as the two 14-year-olds gave each other a hi-five. "Veemon, you're looking well". Kudamon greeted the Dragon Digimon, who smirked at him.

"Hey Kudamon, long time no see". Veemon greeted his comrade, who smiled at his words before he took notice of Gatomon, who was looking at him with wide eyes. "Oh, whose this?" Kudamon questioned, getting Gatomon to look a bit nervous that he noticed her. "This is my new friend, Gatomon. Say hi". Veemon introduced Gatomon to his close friend, who gave the Vaccine Type a smile.

"Hello, my name is Kudamon. It's an honor to meet you". Kudamon greeted Gatomon with a smile, who slowly returned it, but still looked nervous. "I'm Gatomon, nice to meet you". Gatomon greeted Kudamon, starting to lose her nervousness that she's around the Digital World's Legendary Heroes.

"Kari, this is a good friend of mine called Sorey". Davis introduced Sorey to his girlfriend, who gave the Royal Knight a smile. "Hello, it's very nice to meet you". Kari greeted Sorey with a smile, giving him a small bow. "Nice to meet you too, I've heard a lot about you from Davis". Sorey greeted Kari with a smile.

"Looks like almost all of us are here. We're just waiting on Yukio and Dorumon". Wyn remarked as he and Cadlemon took notice of their last member not present. "Strange, I thought he'd be the first one here". Aziel stated, remembering that the last member was pretty punctual. "While we wait for him, maybe you four should properly introduce yourselves". Ari said as he pointed at Raiden, Isa, Aziel, Ryujin and their partners.

"Ari's right, we haven't properly introduced ourselves yet. I'll go first, my name is Raiden and this is my partner Hackmon". Raiden introduced himself and Hackmon to the Digidestined and their Digimon. "And together we make the Royal Knight, Jesmon". Hackmon finished for his partner, having a smirk on his face.

"Let's get this over with. I am Isa and this is my partner Kotemon, and when we Resonance Digivolve, we create Craniamon". Isa introduced himself and his partner to the Digidestined as Kotemon was doing a few practice swings with his sword.

"Well, it's my turn now. The name's Aziel and this is my rocking buddy, Gotsumon and together, we make the most flashing Royal Knight of all, Gankoomon!" Aziel called out as he held up his right hand with his index finger out, somehow a spotlight shining down on him, with Gotsumon somehow holding a bag of petals and throwing them out for his partner. All the Royal Knights and their partners sweat drop at the two.

"Guess that leaves us. My name's Ryujin and you've met my partners, Agumon and Gabumon". Ryujin introduced himself with a smile, his hands on both his partners' heads. "Hi!" Ryujin's Agumon greeted, waving his right claw. "What up". Gabumon greeted, looking a bit serious. "And when all three of us Resonance Digivolve, we make Omnimon". Ryujin revealed what Digimon he and his partners made together, getting Tai, Matt and their partners' attention.

"Yeah, how is Omnimon a Royal Knight?" Tai questioned, having been wondering why the combined form of Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon is a Royal Knight. "To be honest, our combined form was the first Omnimon in existence. In fact, I'm surprised you guys were able to DNA Digivolve your partners into Omnimon". Ryujin replied to the Digidestined leader, getting Izzy's attention.

"DNA Digivolve?" Izzy questioned, having never heard of that Digivolution before. "That's a story for another time". Yukimura told the bearer of Knowledge, watching with his arms crossed. "Still, you two have had my attention for a while and I've been looking forward to finally meeting you". Ryujin told Tai and Matt with a smile, having been looking forward to this.

"I don't know why, but I get the feeling we'll get along well". Matt told the 14-year-old, having liked him since he saw him gave Laphicet an ice cream. "Hi there, it's nice to meet another one of my kind". Matt's Gabumon greeted Ryujin's Gabumon, who gave his kin a smile.

Suddenly, someone kicked Davis in the face, sending him back, making everyone widen their eyes. Appearing next to Kari was a 14-year-old boy that has pale skin, yellow eyes and spikey midnight black hair that defied gravity. The boy was wearing a long sleeve black shirt with a hoodie attached to it, black gauntlets and fingerless gloves. The boy had long track pants and black boots.

Davis spit out some blood from his mouth, before he gave a smirk. "Lucky shot". Davis said with a confident smirk, one that the new arrival returned. "Oh really?" The 14-year-old questioned, before he and Davis disappeared. Suddenly they appeared again, only slamming their fists against each other, sending out a shockwave, before they began to parry against each other with punches and kicks, with neither side giving in.

"Metal Cannon!" A voice cried out, making Davis' Veemon widen his eyes, before he acted. "Vee Punch!" Veemon called out as he thrust out his right fist, right when a metal sphere appeared, shattering it. Landing in front of Veemon was a purple animal Digimon with purple fur on most of its body. It has two large legs and two arms, each of which has three black claws, as well as a large, vulpine tail. The fur on its chest, paws, snout, and the end of its tail is white. It has two pointed ears with black stripes and two very small black wings. On its brow is a triangular red gem.

Before introductions could be made, the purple Digimon charged at Veemon and attacked him. The two Digimon were covered in dust as the two fought it out. "What the!? Who are those guys?" Joe asked in surprise as he, along with the rest of the Digidestined and their Digimon watched as Davis and Veemon continued to battle the two unknown individuals.

"Don't worry, that's Yukio and Dorumon, our friends". Isa told the Bearer of Reliability, revealing the identity of the 14-year-old and the unknown Digimon. "Then why are they attacking Davis and Veemon?" T.K questioned, wondering why Davis and Veemon's friends attacked them.

"They just have a big rivalry, you could even consider them as number 1 rivals to each other". Rose explained to the Bearer of Hope, watching her friends friend continue to fight with a smile on her face. "For some reason, they remind me of Tai and Matt". Kari remarked as she watched her boyfriend fight his rival, getting Laphicet curious.

"Really? Big brother Tai and Matt fight like that?" Laphicet asked his big sister, who gave a nervous smile as Tai and Matt felt a little insulted. "We might fight like that, but only because there's a reason why. It's not like we attack each other when we feel like that". Matt tried to explain to the 8-year-old boy, even though he was being reminded of his fights with Tai as he watched Davis and Yukio.

Davis elbowed Yukio in the stomach, sending him back as he held his stomach, right where Davis struck him. "Vee Shot!" Davis' Veemon called out as he fired a small energy blast from its mouth at Dorumon, sending him flying into the air. However, Dorumon back flipped as he landed next to his partner Yukio, with the two smirking.

"You haven't lost your touch, I was a bit worried you'd forgot about me". Yukio said to his rival with a smirk, relived to see Davis had continued to train even in this time of peace. "As if I'd ever let you get ahead of me, Yukio. We've still got a score to settle". Davis replied to his rival as he and Yukio took a stance.

"Looks like those muscles aren't for show". Dorumon said as he crouched down, ready to pounce on Veemon. "And you look tougher than how you look. Guess that fur's still as strong as ever". Veemon replied to Dorumon as he held up his fists, ready to continue his fight with the Rookie Digimon.

"That's enough!" Ryujin called out as he disappeared and reappeared between Davis and Yukio, with his two partners doing the same to Dorumon and Veemon. "You two will have as much time as you like to fight later, right now we gathered here to regroup and meet the Digidestined". Yukimura told his two comrades as he walked up next to Ryujin, giving the two a small glare.

"Jesus, you two really love to ruin our fun, you know that?" Yukio sighed as he and Davis dropped their stances. "We'll continue this later. Anyway, long time no see Yukio, how's it going?" Davis greeted his rival as he walked up to Yukio as their partners walked up to them.

"I've been doing well. I've waited a long time for this day to come. The day where we can finish what we started so long ago and finish the Demon Lords and their master!" Yukio replied to Davis as he held up his right fist. "We've all waited for this day Yukio. But that doesn't mean we must forget about our lives here in the real world". Rose told the 14-year-old male as the rest of the Royal Knights and their partners gathered around.

"No need to tell me that Rose. I've got something important here in this world to protect with my life". Yukio replied to the pink haired girl, having a happy smile on his face, getting everyone curious. "Really? What is this 'important' thing that you need to protect? A girlfriend?" Wyn questioned, getting Yukio to look at his comrade.

"You guessed correctly". Yukio replied, making all of the Royal Knights widen their eyes in surprise, before they smiled. "Really? That's great Yukio! What's her name?" Drax asked the black haired boy, who turned to face him. "Her name's Meiko Mochizuki". Yukio answered, having a small blush as he brought out a photo.

The group of Royal Knights and their partners gathered around Yukio to get a look at the photo. The photo showed Yukio with a 14-year-old girl who was just a few inches smaller than Yukio. She had fair skin, long black hair with a fringe in the forehead, and pink eyes. Meiko was wearing a light blue sundress, black glasses and pink high heels.

However, she was holding something very unexpected in her hands. In Meiko's hands was a yellow and white cat like Digimon that has green eyes with cross-shaped pupils. "Is that…?" Floramon asked, surprised that Yukio's girlfriend has a Digimon. "Yeah, Meiko has her own Digimon partner. Her name is Meicoomon". Yukio told his comrades with a smile on his face.

"With Meiko having her own partner, Yukio didn't need to hide the Digital World from her. He even promised to take her there soon". Dorumon explained with a smile, glad his partner has found happiness with his girlfriend. "That's awesome. Though, I didn't think you were into girls with glasses". Aziel remarked having thought Yukio liked a different type of girl.

"It doesn't matter if she has glasses or not, I love Meiko the way she is. Kind, shy and beautiful, she's perfect the way she is". Yukio said with a smile and a small blush on his cheeks, surprising his comrades that he saved he loved her. "Wow, I guess she must be really special for you to outright say you love her". Isa said in surprise, having no current interest in a relationship because of the war, but now is considering trying it out.

"She is". Yukio stated as he put the photo away, before turning to face the watching Digidestined and their Digimon. "So, these are the Digidestined? The ones that's protected the Digital World in our absence, correct?" Yukio asked his friends as he crossed his arms, his eyes focused on the Digidestined.

"Indeed. They've done a good job at it, they've even defeated Apocalymon". Davis answered his rival's question, getting Yukio interest. "Really? That's impressive". Yukio stated as he and Dorumon walked up to the Digidestined and their Digimon. "Hello Digidestined, it's an honour to meet you. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yukio". Yukio introduced himself to his new comrades, giving a short bow.

"And I am his partner, Dorumon". Dorumon introduced himself as well. "When we Resonance Digivolve together, we form Alphamon, leader of the Royal Knights". Yukio finished the introductions, making all the Digidestined and their Digimon widen their eyes. "Wait, you're the leader of the Royal Knights?" Kari questioned the 14-year-old in surprise, who faced her.

"Yes, I am". Yukio answered Kari, wondering why they seem surprised. "But you don't have goggles!" Tai remarked, getting Yukio to raise an eyebrow at him. "What does goggles have to do with being the leader?" The leader of the Royal Knights questioned, wondering why they mentioned goggles.

"Well, it's just that the leader of our team wears goggles. It's like a sign of a leader". Matt explained to Yukio, getting him curious. "Oh, is that right? I admit I sorta like the idea. Maybe I should get some goggles of my own". Yukio said to himself, liking the idea of having something that's the symbol of a leader.

"We just kinda thought Davis was the leader". T.K told Yukio, making Davis scoff at what the blond haired boy said. "I never said I was the leader. No matter how good of a leader I am, I could never be one better than Yukio". Davis stated, having a genuine smile on his face, getting Tai to look at Yukio. "Wow, I guess you must be pretty good at being a leader if Davis regards you that highly". Tai said to Yukio, who shook his head.

"Davis thinks too highly of me. I just do what I can to help end this war as soon as possible". Yukio replied to Tai, thinking that Davis was exaggerating about him. "You're wrong, my young friend!" A voice called out, before a bright light appeared, forcing everyone to shut their eyes close.

Soon the light died down, allowing everyone to see what appeared from the light. It was what appeared to be a 30-year-old man that has pale skin, long silver hair that almost reached the ground, red eyes and wearing white armour like that of a knight. All the Royal Knights and their partners grew happiy smiled at seeing the 'man'.

"King Drasil!" The Royal Knights and their partners called out in joy as they all ran towards King Drasil. King Drasil held out his hands as he hugged Rose and Wyn, while the others gathered around them. "My children, how happy I am to look upon your faces again after so long. I've missed you all so much". King Drasil said to his champion knights, having a kind smile on his face.

"We've missed you two, your majesty". Rose told the king of the Digital World as she and Wyn stepped back, before they, along with the rest of the Royal Knights and their partner knelt down to their king. "We've waited for this day a long time now, preparing to continue the battle against the Demon Lords and their master". Raiden told the king of the Digital World, keeping his head down.

"I wished this day never came. You've suffered so long ago and I wished that you all could live the rest of your lives in peace". King Drasil said as his eyes grew sad, the guilt of bringing children into the Ancient War showing and what they lost so long ago.

"Your majesty, we choose to re-join the war before we returned to our homes. We never blamed you for bringing us into the Digital World so long ago. You weren't just our king; you're like a father to all of us. We would gladly risk our lives to protect the Digital World and the Digimon from the Demon Lords and their master". Yukio explained to the king of the Digital World as he, along with the rest of the Royal Knights gave King Drasil a smile.

King Drasil grew a smile at hearing his Alpha Knight's words. "Your words bring me comfort, my Alpha Knight. I feel the same, you're all like my own children and it fills my heart at seeing you've all grown". King Drasil told his Royal Knights and their Digimon partners, who all smiled.

"Now, time to discuss other matters. Beelzemon, step forward!" King Drasil ordered as he looked at the group of Digidestined, or more exact Impmon in Laphicet's arms, who narrowed his eyes. "Kid, let me go?" Impmon requested his partner, who gave the Virus Digimon a worried look.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine". Impmon told his partner, giving the 8-year-old a smile. Laphicet hesitated, before he let go of Impmon, who walked up to the human form of King Drasil. "You're looking good in your old age, how's that hair of yours?" Impmon asked the king of the Digital World with a smirk on his face, not the least bit afraid of King Drasil.

The Royal Knights and their Digimon gave Impmon a glare for his words towards King Drasil, who just stared at the Virus Digimon. "Tell me, now that you're a partner to a human, do you plan to fight against your former 'comrades?" King Drasil asked the former Demon Lord, who scoffed as he looked away with his arms crossed.

"Only if they try anything with Laphicet, I'll kill their asses. Also don't think I wanna be buddy-buddy with any of you, my only concern now is to protect my partner!" Impmon replied to the King of the Digital World, turning to look over his right shoulder to look at his partner. King Drasil was silent for a few moments, before he spoke.

"Very well. You are forgiven for your acts as a Demon Lord!" King Drasil declared, shocking Impmon, the Royal Knights and their partners. "Say what!?" Impmon called out in surprise, having not expected this. "Your majesty, you can't honestly mean that? Impmon killed thousands of Digimon-" Kyoya began, only for King Drasil to cut him off.

"He never killed any innocents. He may have been a Demon Lord, but he only fought warriors and never enjoyed killing for amusement. And now, he has a strong will to protect his new partner, he deserves a second chance, my Knight of Speed". King Drasil told Kyoya, giving the former Demon Lord a smile, who felt humbled by the king's words.

"Geez thanks. You know, you're not much of a stuck up as I thought". Impmon said to King Drasil, before he walked back to his partner, who wrapped his arms around the Virus Digimon. The Digidestined and their Digimon smiled at the former Demon Lord, seeing that even though he may look tough, he cares for Laphicet.

The Royal Knights and their partners were silent, before they faced their king. "My king, what about Ken?" Davis asked his king, wondering what the King of the Digital World will do to their former comrade, now enemy. King Drasil's face fell at the mention of Ken's name. "What happened to Ken is one of my failures as your king. However, I believe that our friend still has good in him. I wish for you to bring him to me". King Drasil ordered his champions, who bowed their head to him.

"If that is your command, it will be done my king". Veemon replied to the King of the Digital World. King Drasil nodded to Veemon, before he faced the Digidestined and their Digimon, who were feeling a bit nervous that the King of the Digital World was focusing on them now. "Be calm, children. There is no need to be nervous around me. Please, join us?" King Drasil requested from the Digidestined, giving them a gently smile.

The Digidestined and their Digimon were still nervous, but Laphicet wasn't. He ran up to King Drasil with an excited look on his face, which the king looked at the young boy. "Wow, are you really the King of the Digital World?" Laphicet asked King Drasil with an excited smile on his face, who chuckled at the young 8-year-old as he rubbed Laphicet's head.

"Indeed young one. It is a pleasure to meet the child that Beelzemon has sworn to protect". King Drasil greeted Laphicet with a smile, making Impmon grumble from Laphicet's arms. "Wow. But how are you here in the real world?" Laphicet asked King Drasil as he retracted his hand. "The force field around this area allows me to make contact with the human world, but I can't go beyond this area. My true form is safe back in the Digital World, creating safe havens for the innocent Digimon caught up in this war". King Drasil explained to the excited 8-year-old boy.

Seeing the King of the Digital World interact with Laphicet eased the Digidestined and their Digimons' nerves as they began walking up to King Drasil and the bowing Royal Knights. "I see you're all wearing your crests again. And you, young queen, have grown powerful since we last met. I witnessed your Resonance Digivolution with your partner and I am impressed". King Drasil greeted the Digidestined and their Digimon, before he greeted Kari, who smiled shyly at him.

"Thank you". Kari thanked King Drasil for his words, blushing a bit in embarrassment that she was the first one of the Digidestined to Resonance Digivolve with her partner. King Drasil then faced the rest of the Digidestined and their partners with a serious expression. "Digidestined, are you sure that you want to join the war against the Demon Lords?" King Drasil questioned the Digidestined, wanting to know if they are dead set to battle the Demon Lords.

The Digidestined and their partners were confused by King Drasil's question. "Umm, yeah we are". Izzy answered the King of the Digital World, making King Drasil narrow his eyes. "Do not answer as if it is no small feet!" King Drasil snapped at Izzy, making him flinch in fear. "Hey, don't pick on Izzy! We're Digidestined, of course we're gonna help!" Tai defended his friend, refusing to not be apart of the war.

"Actually Tai, I think it's better if you and the others stay here in the real world". Davis told his old friend, making Tai and Kari widen their eyes in shock. "Davis, what are you saying?" Kari questioned her boyfriend in disbelief that he wants them to stay out of the fight against the Demon Lords.

"You children don't understand just how dangerous this war is. The Demon Lords and their minions are nothing like you've ever faced before". King Drasil explained for his Miracle Knight, placing his right hand on Davis' head. "We've fought Apocalymon, and we won!" Sora called out, comparing Apocalymon to the Demon Lords.

"Apocalymon is nothing compared to the Demon Lords! If wanted, the Demon Lords could destroy Apocalymon with a flick of their wrist". Yukio told the Digidestined, his head still down, getting Matt to look at him. "Come on, you didn't even face Apocalymon". Matt replied to the leader of the Royal Knight, thinking that they were underestimating them.

"You're wrong, we fought Apocalymon ourselves! He was actually a servant of the Demon Lords". Isa retaliated, making the Digidestined widen their eyes. "No way! Gennai said that Apocalymon was created from the negative energy of Digimon!" T.K called out, refusing to believe that the Digimon they barley defeated was actually a minion.

"Actually, he was reborn by the negative energy. We destroy him long ago and he must have used the negative energy created by Digimon to be reborn". Ari explained to the Digidestined, turning to look at them over his shoulder.

"Perhaps you all need to see the war with your own eyes". King Drasil said, before his whole body began to glow, making the Royal Knights widen their eyes as they shot up to their feet. "My king, what are you doing?" Drax questioned his king, having a good idea on what King Drasil is doing.

"For them to see the dangers of this war, they must witness with their own eyes the Ancient War so long ago". King Drasil answered, as the glow grew bigger and soon covered the Royal Knights and their partners. "This is a bad idea!" Impmon called out in panic as he and Laphicet were soon engulfed by the glow. "Laphicet!" Kari called out in concern as she, Gatomon and the rest of the Digidestined were soon engulfed by the glow.

I'm sorry for the long wait and if it wasn't what you were expecting. But next chapter the Digidestined will see the Ancient War and how dangerous this story is. Also I've rewritten the first chapter to make it better and is currently working on chapter 2. Next story I'll update is the Hunters story to get some people off my back. "Davis, why do you look different? And why do you have DemiVeemon on your head?" Kari asked Davis, who was leaning against tree with his partner on his head, looking at the counterpart of his girlfriend with narrowed eyes. "That settles it partner, somehow we're in a different dimension". DemiVeemon whispered to his partner, keeping his voice low so that Kari wouldn't hear him.

"Indeed. From the way she's talking and acting, I guess we're different in this dimension". Royal Knight Davis replied to his partner, before he took notice of something. Heading straight towards the unsuspecting Kari was a soccer ball that wasn't slowing down. "Not on my watch". Davis stated as he disappeared, before he reappeared right next to Kari and punched the soccer, sending it right back to where it came from. Kari was shocked at Davis' speed, before she stared at his face and couldn't help, but blush. 'He's so handsome'. Kari thought to herself as Royal Knight Davis turned to look back at her.

"You okay?" Royal Knight Davis asked Kari as he walked up to her, increasing her blush from how close he is to her. "I-I'm fine, thank you Davis". Kari replied to the Royal Knight, who sighed in relief as he stepped back. "Looks like Kari can't resist your charms". Royal Knight DemiVeemon teased his partner, who narrowed his eyes. "Shut your trap!" Royal Knight Davis told his partner, making Kari widen her eyes at his choice of words.

"Kari!" An unknown voice called out, making Kari, Royal Knight Davis and DemiVeemon turn to where the voice came from. Coming up to them was Gatomon, T.K, Patamon, Ken, Wormmon, Cody, Armadillomon, Yolei, Hawkmon and the biggest surprise of all, another Davis and Veemon. The only difference is that these two looked to be younger than their Royal Knight counterparts. "Kari, there you are! We've been searching all over for..." Davis began, only to stop when he noticed just who was with his crush.

Everyone began to rapidly turn to look at the two Davis, Veemon and DemiVeemon, shocked out of their minds. Everyone was silent for a few seconds, before they reacted. "WHAT!?" The 02 team called out in shock at seeing this, while Royal Knight Davis and DemiVeemon had interested looks as they stared at their partners, their wishes of seeing what they would be like if King Drasil didn't summon them coming true.
