Chapter Three: Protecting Mari!

One fateful day during an akuma attack, Chat started to wonder about his princess's safety because their class was in the park for a picnic. Then the akuma attacked…

Once the akuma attack was over he announced, "I'm going to check on Marinette, her class was in the area of the akuma."

Viperion grabbed his wrist and hissed, "No you can't because that is what I'll be doing."

No one noticed that Ladybug had slipped away and was rushing home before a bunch of superheroes ended up on her balcony.

Then Rena stepped in, "Nuh-uh, I ain't going to let some boys in spandex go to see my girl. I'll be doing that."

"Move aside, that girl is one of my only friends. I'll be seeing her," said Ryuko, harshly.

They started to quarrel about who got to see Marinette, until Queen Bee spoke up, "Why don't you ask her for her opinion?"

Of course, that started another quarrel about who was going to ask Marinette. For some reason, they never saw Pegasus, King Monkey, Carapace, and Bunnix sneak off to go visit Marinette. Queen Bee just sat down on a bench and watched the drama like a bad soap opera.

Meanwhile, Marinette was having a panic attack about how many superheroes were going to be in her home. In her bedroom. Where she kept the Miracle Box. She was so dead.

"Tikki, help me find a new hiding spot for the Miracle Box," panicked Marinette.

"Marinette, I'm sure they won't recognize it ."

Marinette grabbed the miracle box and stuffed it into her chest praying no one looked there as she heard the thump-thump-thump of many superheroes on her roof. She cautiously looked out her trap door and saw Pegasus, King Monkey, Carapace, and Bunnix on her roof.

"What the hell are you doing on my roof?" Marinette shrieked, surprised that it was not Chat, Viperion, Rena, or Ryuko.

"Your protectors are having a fight over who gets to check up on you after battles," responded Bunnix, blowing a bubble in her gum.

"You know Dudette, they are super protective of you, we were lucky to get away before they roped us in too," said Carapace leaning against her railing.

"But why are you here?" Marinette asked again.

"Well, Mari we heard you have the best pastries in all of Paris and we wanted some," King Monkey responded.

"Ok, I'll go get you some," Marinette said, turning around to head back down stairs.

"According to my calculations, the others will be arriving in 30 minutes and 25, 24, 23…" said Pegasus.

Marinette came back up with a tray full of pastries. The heroes dug in and thanked Marinette. Pegasus reminded them that the others would be coming soon, so they prepared to leave. Until they saw Marinette's puppy eyes begging for them to take her away. They ended up having a lot of fun, so when the next time the fight about Marinette came up, they jumped right in and argued.

Marinette ended up having to play tug-o-war with the heroes and she was the rope. Queen Bee just cackled and watched with a bowl of popcorn, often yelling things like, "Maritrash, just pick one already!" or "I bet she loves Chat more." Which ended up riling them up more, until our poor little Ladybug had enough and started screaming, "YOU KNOW WHAT? I'D RATHER SPEND TIME WITH LADYBUG, THEN WITH YOU FIGHTING OVER ME! I'M OUT" She stormed away cursing under her breath about why she was so nice.
