Kirell had a dream about a boy she used to talk to and hang out with who made her feel happy after the death of her best friend. She wondered who it was. If Balaam was here he'd probably figure it out. She missed that annoying asshole.
"You look confuse. Strange dream?" Hilde asked.
"Yeah. Apparently there was this person I used to sit with on a bench and talk to for hours." Kirell admitted.
"Sounds like a guy. What he do for a living?" Hilde smiles.
"Judging from the coat maybe he was a doctor." Kirell awnsered.
"Maybe he'll be standing there in front of you when you wake up on the other side. Man I wish I had a boyfriend!" Hilde smiles, "If he's showing up in your dreams and you two were sitting really close than maybe he's your boyfriend." Hilde explains.
"I hope Balaam doesn't murder him when he get back than." Kirell winced.
"Oh that's right! I almost forgot about Balaam. But he's you? Ugh... it's all still so confusing. And you kissed him!" Hilde tells Kirell.
"Please stop your embarrassing me!" Kirell begged.
"And he's getting his own body this time... So yeah. Good luck with that. Guess you got two boyfriends to deal with when you get back. I'm so jealous." Hilde sighed.
"Well maybe you can take one of them. Before Balaam tries killing the other. I'd be grateful." Kirell suggested.
"But do you honestly think Balaam would? He stopped himself from killing Argo just out right in cold blood. I think Balaam has a lot more self control than that. I think. He just wants you to be happy." Hilde explains.
"Yeah. Yeah your definitely right!" Kirell nodded.
"But that still makes me wonder... Who are you going to choose to be with forever when you get back?" Hilde asked.
"Well..." Kirell turned red, "I'm not sure yet. I want to say I think I'll be with Balaam. I mean. He's practically understands me and gets me better than anyone else. After all in a weird way he's me... Even if we're in two different bodies we'll still have that very scary connection." Kirell awnsered, "And Argo seems to think so too." She pointed out.
"But you don't have to be. You can be with anyone you want. Are you even sure you like boys? Or maybe you like both girls and boys?" Hilde suggested.
"Uh... well..." Kirell wondered about it, "If Balaam likes girls and I like guys. Would that mean I'm actually a bisexual???" Kirell's mind is blown, "So many questions now!" Kirell gasped.
"Heh maybe. Man I feel bad for whoever your boyfriend was." Hilde giggles, "So since you got people waiting for you. You need to make it through this test no matter what!" Hilde decided.
"I'm happy to see you two so enthusiastic this morning!" Philio beamed.
"Come on let's follow that compass." Hilde cheered.
Kirell nodded and followed the compass for hours until they reach the strange looking house Kirell has costed once before.
"This house... I've been here before..." Kirell thinks trying to remember.
"Seems it's pointing at the drawer." Hilde opens it up and finds some bullets.
"Maybe they are for the gun I found with Balaam." She tried putting them in and it fits perfectly, "Looks like they fit. Kirell nodded.
"Kirell you should look at your compass again." Philio suggested.
Kirell sees it's spinning around, "I guess this means... Someone else has to go." Kirell gulped looking worried.
"Don't say that!" Hilde panicked.
"Who should it be?" Kirell thinks.
"Philio..." Kirell decided.
"I told you all I want to do is help with your task." Philio nodded.
"If I kill you. Your did your task and you can be revived right?" Kirell was shaking a bit.
"That's correct." Philio nodded.
"Than I'm sorry. It has to be you." Kirell pulled the trigger.
The gun doesn't fire.
"I knew it. I knew this old piece of junk wouldn't work." Kirell felt so relieved, "I guess I won't be needing this anymore." Kirell tossed the gun to the side.
"Kirell you forgot the safety." Hilde pointed out.
Kirell held back tears, "Shit. I was hoping you wouldn't notice." Kirell awnsered.
"It's okay Kirell." Hilde takes the gun, "I've made up my mind about you. I know what I need to do." Hilde smiled, "I think I know what to do for my task." She explains.
"Wait! Do you really need to the gun to complete your task?!?" Kirell yelped.
"Yeah I had a feeling. My realization isn't enough to complete my task. That's why it didn't work when Charon let me give that letter to Balaam. I need to act on it." Hilde explains.
"I don't understand!" Kirell cried.
"Kirell. This the only way I know how. I'm really sorry." Hilde shoots herself with the gun.
"HILDE!!!" Kirell screamed in tears.
"Hilde has given me a message. She says to read the letter in her bag." Philio tells her.
Kirell takes the letter and reads it, "Sorry for leaving you behind like that. This task was as much of an ordeal as it is for you. I hope we will see each other again."
"That's not a letter that's a will." Kirell thinks crying.
"Please stop crying. If you look at Hilde you'll see she's going to be okay." Philio explained.
"She's disappearing like Balaam and Argo did. She must of completed her task. Geez. Don't scare me like that!" Kirell cried.
"I'm going to find you again and kick your ass so you know how it feels being left alone." Kirell thinks.
The compass stopped moving.
"Are you angry or sad?" Philio asked.
"Shut up Philio." Kirell awnsered.
They walked a long ways before finding a new place to rest and end the day.
