-Becoming Succesor-
(Failing the Test in a weird way)
Goal: Kirell's relationship with Hilde, Balaam and Philio are really high but Argo's is really low. Don't send Philio to Balaam and don't convince Hilde Balaam should be resurrected. Kirel almost dies, but Hilde saves her.
Balaam was badly injured. He was hesitating to kill Argo even though he got shot and knew it. Hilde couldn't hold Kirell back no longer.
"This is it Balaam." Argo replied.
"No don't shoot Kirell!" Hilde ran to save Kirell.
The gun goes of and Balaam goes wide eye as Kirell is in its path, but Hilde shoves her out of the way at the last second dying.
"Hilde oh god." Argo was shocked.
"Hilde!!!" Kirell cried.
Balaam ran away not trusting Argo to shoot him. Philio gives Kirell Hilde's letter and decided to leave them to help Balaam.
Kirell was left with Argo who she hated. They followed Kirell's compass unsure what's going to happen.
Balaam hid in a building crying, "Why in earth did she??? Just who are you Hilde??? Were you the one in the accident???" Balaam cried.
Philio watched Ron sit beside Balaam, "What are you going to do? Surely now you see Kirell cares about you?" Charon tells him.
"She doesn't believe in resurrection for all but she cares about me. Maybe... Maybe I have to be the one who figures out how to do it..." Balaam decided, "But with Hilde gone. I guess I fucked up." Balaam sighed.
"Not at all. Hilde gave her heartfelt letter to Kirell completing her task." Philio explains.
"Really so there's hope." Balaam sighed, "The moment I kill Argo I get resurrected... I don't want that anymore." Balaam sighed.
"Than you must help Kirell with her task." Charon explains.
"Ah... so that way it's just me and Argo that's left. Funny how that works. Alright I know what to do. After all I'm pretty sure I know what her task is." Balaam headed out with them.
Kirell finds a gun with bullets this time, "It looks familiar..." She wasn't sure why.
"That's the same gun as Balaam's!" Argo realized.
"Does that mean? It has the same conditions? I'm literally going to have to start making people want to kill me?" Kirell felt disgusted.
"Let's find out." Argo cocks his gun at Kirell, "I'm pointing my gun at you with intent to kill you." He tells her.
"No! I'm not going to kill! I'm not Balaam and you can't shoot me!" Kirell panicked.
"Kirell my task is to kill someone precious to me. You have Balaam's gun now. Like Hilde says we understand and get each other. Like a parent with a child. I refuse to finish my task. That's why I've decided. I want you to shoot me Kirell." Argo teills her.
"NOT SO FAST OLD MAN!" Balaam kicked the door down.
"Balaam!?!" Kirell jumped.
"I'm not giving up on resurrection for all!" Balaam awnsered and looked at them and grabbed Kirell's hand making her point to Philio, "Shoot Philio. His task is to help people from what he's told me. You killing him will only help him full fill that task. Leave me with Argo and get out of here. Go back to your friend Hilde." Balaam tells her.
Kirell looked at Balaam confused, "Why Don't you fulfill your task right now with Argo than?" She lowered her gun.
Balaam looked away, "You liar... you don't believe in resurrection for all your just trying to stop me from letting Argo kill you." Kirell cried.
"Kirell... go home don't worry about a guy like me I'm not worth it." Balaam sighed.
Kirell hugged Balaam crying, "I know your annoying but... you can be nice... your not a bad guy." Kirell cried.
"Kirell is the one I need to kill Balaam not you." Argo pointed out.
"Actually I think it's either of us honestly." Balaam pats her back and explains everything.
"I'm you? Your me?" Kirell cried.
"Yeah so stop worrying ok?" Balaam tells her, "You don't need ruthless Balaam shooting up folk for you so you survive or yelling at you not to kill yourself. You can do it yourself. I know you can." Balaam looked sad.
"You..." Kirell started crying again and collapsed in Balaam's arms, "I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry Balaam!" She wailed.
Argo gets up and cocks his gun at Balaam, "You won't hurt him!" Kirell hissed.
"Kirell. I need to talk to Argo alone. Take Philio. Kill him." Balaam begged.
"No! I feel something bad will happen if I leave you behind Balaam." Kirell cried.
"Kirell... You've already left me behind. What difference does now make?" Balaam tells her.
"No Balaam! You told me to! Balaam I didn't!" Kirell started crying.
"You didn't even send me help..." Balaam sighed.
"I thought Ron was enough!" Kirell cried.
"Just take your gun. Point it at Philio and leave." Balaam tells her.
"No!!!" Kirell gets in his face.
"Fine than... There's only one thing I can do Kirell." Balaam kisses Kirell who blushed, "Philio your with Argo. Meet us back here on day seven." Balaam leaves.
"Wait in day seven!?! What are you planning Balaam?" Kirell asked.
"Stop!" Argo chases after them but Charon trips him.
"You'll have to be patient." Charon tells him.
They find a place to hang out at Balaam kissed Kirell again who kissed back, "I'm going to have to make you hate me to want to leave me." Balaam pinned Kirell down.
"No don't hurt me!" Kirell panicked.
"Sadly I can't hurt you. But I'll do something else..." Balaam turns red, "And you'll hate me for it for sure." Balaam seemed shy.
"There's nothing you can do that'll make me hate you." Kirell tells him determined.
Balaam turned red, "Well I think your wrong about that. I mean just look at the position your in. I don't think you've realized that well. I'm a guy and your a girl. God even having to say that is cringe." Balaam was so red.
"Yeah so what if you a guy and I'm a girl?" Kirell looked confused.
"Oh my god your so naive and innocent it's unbearable." Balaam puts his right hand on Kirell's chest and squeezes turning redder.
Kirell turned bright red, "Is this how you plan on getting me to hate you?" Kirell asked.
"Yeah pretty much." Balaam awnsered and put his hand up her shirt, "Please hate me before I have to go to extremes." Balaam blushed.
Kirell held back tears blushing like crazy, "Oh my god. I can't believe him. Scooping so low! Has he no decency? I don't even know how to properly react to this! I literally just found out we're the same person and now he's groping me!?! Just to get me to hate him. He's right. I hate him and yet it's not bad." Kirell blushed shyly.
"You'll give up me right?" Balaam gently teased her nipple with his finger under her shirt.
Kirell squirmed very shyly, "I almost want him too... Gods! I'm going to kill him for this!"
"Please don't make me go all the way Kirell..." Balaam groaned.
"Okay! Okay! You win! Please stop! This is so weird! I know your me but still!!!" Kirell was so red.
Balaam sighed in relief and lets her up, "So you will kill Philio and leave..." Balaam tells her but she pounced him.
Kirell kisses him and bites his lip blushing, "What the?" Balaam was breathless.
"Oh???" Balaam kisses her and wrapped his legs around her, "I'm not shy like you are." He nibbled on her earlobe.
Kirell whimpered a soft moan her body trembled as her face heated up. Balaam easily pushed her back pinning her.
"Fuck you're acting like you want me to." Balaam is very red.
"What's the matter? I thought you weren't shy?" Kirell was breathless.
"You don't know what your dealing with Kirell." Balaam was breathless too.
"You're me so I think I do." Kirell tells him.
"Shit..." Balaam went very red, "I didn't think you'd be into... gods Kirell. What's wrong us???" Balaam asked very turned on.
"It's not my fault!!! Well I mean! God dam it Balaam!" Kirell cried.
"This is honestly why there shouldn't be two of us. I mean... Imagine... we might forget all of this and yet hook up. Get married and have kids." Balaam tells her.
"I know your right and I agree and yet... It wouldn't be the worse thing." Kirell admitted.
Balaam turns red, "But you've given up resurrection for all of us." Balaam tells her.
"That doesn't mean I want you to die or be left behind." Kirell awnsered staring at him softly.
"Kirell..." Balaam blushed, "Can I be selfish?" He whispered.
"What?" Kirell blushed.
"Marry me." Balaam awnsered blushing, "I want you so badly right now. Just marry me here and when we're revived. I'll find a way to convince Argo to shoot me at the same time as him." Balaam swore.
Kirell nodded turned super red, "Okay Balaam. I swear. I'll marry you." She kissed him.
"Welp we're going to be some weird parents." Balaam laughed, "For now though... I think my wifey need a little R and R." Balaam growled playfully.
Meanwhile... Argo is trying to track Balaam down while Charon keeps stopping him.
"Your getting very annoying!" Argo shouted.
"Balaam won't hurt Kirell. It'll take a lot to break that bond of partnerships with her." Charon explains.
"Just who are you really!?!" Argo demanded.
"I'm Charon." He puts on his afro and wig.
"Why are you here?" Argo growled.
"He's here to help you guys like me!" Philio smiled.
"I didn't think you'd get involved in our test though." Argo frowned.
"Normally no. But I had no choice this time. Seems Kirell desperately wanted Balaam to be resurrected as his own person. She loves him very much." Charon smiled, "They might even get married. Er sorry doc." Charon realized.
"As long as she's happy that's all that matters." Philio nodded.
"Sorry?" Argo asked.
"Doc is Kirell's boyfriend love interest from before death." Charon explains.
"Ah I see." Argo nodded and sighed, "It's getting late. We need to rest." He wasn't happy about the day ending, but he would find them no matter what.
The next day Balaam woke up removing himself from Kirell to get dressed and stretch. He had a new found resolve now thanks to Kirell and not one he expected to have.
Kirell wakes up feeling pretty good and shyly gets dressed, "So... my dream today... I'm guess you had it too." Kirell blushed.
"Yup." Balaam replied indifferent, "All I gotta day is fuck that guy. You're my wife now." Balaam tells her and Kirell nodded shyly.
"I still can't believe me and Balaam did those things yesterday!" Kirell thinks turning red.
"Looks like we got company." Balaam got ready for a fight as Kirell followed him outside where he saw the others from the window.
"I see your in one piece Kirell that's good." Argo frowned.
"Uh... Yeah. Sorry." Kirell felt bad.
"Hmmm... both of you... have a different air about you both. I'm guessing you and Balaam are a thing now." Argo sighed.
Kirell covered her face wanting to die, "She's my wife now." Balaam declared, "So don't even think about touching her when I'm gone you creepy doctor." Balaam tells Philio.
"Oh so you know. But don't worry about that Balaam. I respect you and Kirell so I won't." Philio tells them.
Argo points the gun at Balaam who points his gun at him, "You still want to finish your task old man?" Balaam asked.
"I don't want to become those undead things. I'd feel less worse killing you than Balaam." Argo tells him.
"Wait! You two are only allowed to shoot each other at the same time. I'm not losing. Er. My husband." Kirell blushed.
"Hey Philio. Mr. Boyfriendo. If Argo fucks this up for me. Take care of my baby momma." Balaam winked at Philio.
Philio actually frowned at Balaam, "Oh my god Balaam! I can't believe you said that!" Kirell hides her face. I can't face anyone every again." She declared.
Argo winced and coughed, "Well than. I guess I better not duck this up." He sighed.
"Before you kill me. I got stuff to tell you daddy. You going to be my godfather for my babies!" Balaam decided, "Grandpa Argo!" Balaam announced.
"Please stop!!!" Kirell cried in horror of embarrassment.
"So you better live to give them a better life that you failed to give us got it?" Balaam smiled.
"I... I honestly don't know what to say to that." Argo was tearing up a bit.
"It's a really honor you must be so happy!" Philio beamed.
"I guess in a weird way. Your the doctor that'll be delivering them. So yeah that's not weird at all." Balaam winced.
Philio smiled, "I look forward to it." He beamed.
"I'm sure you do... creepo." Balaam sighed, "And our moms going to be a grandma! And Hilde is going to be so jealous. We'll have the cutest kids. And one is just going to be as ornery just like me Kirell and you know it." Balaam beamed.
"I hope it's the girl because than you and Argo can play over protective daddy together." Kirell tells him.
Balaam laughed, "She'd be just like her momma!" Balaam beamed.
"Hehe." Kirell smiled happily.
"Anyways. I'm ready for that how about you old man?" Balaam asked.
Argo smiled, "It sounds nice Balaam. I'm looking forward to it." He smiled.
They shoot each other leaving Kirell to shoot Philio and end her test on a happy note.
Charon smiles having watched them all leave him, "As do I." Charon smiled heading back to his office.
—Becoming Successor-
(Successful ending)
Goal: same as before but Kirell's friendship with Balaam is below 50% Philio needs to have the highest friendship possible
Balaam honestly expected the slap from Kirell, but it was still pretty jarring.
"You think this is going to make me kill Philio you're crazy!" Kirell puffed looking mad.
"Give me a break here. I just want you to finish your task. Kill Philio accept your a murder and return home it's that simple. Leave the rest to me." Balaam smiled.
"Your trying to get me to abandon you!" Kirell pouted.
"I'm everything you hate about yourself. So we weirdly became friends. It's time you forget about me." Balaam tells her.
"Why?!?" Kirell cried.
"I have nothing to live for Kirell. Killing people is out of the question. Protecting you or Hilde is out of the question. I don't want to protect the gu who murder us. I don't have a reason to go back. I've failed Kirell. It's to late for me." Balaam tells her.
"I won't leave you." Kirell cried.
"Kirell." Balaam hugged her, "I think this is how it's meant to be. I need to die for Argo to return to you and be your dad. So you can have a better life." Balaam explains.
"No... no... you two can go with me." Kirell tells him.
"Well than... Imma have to try harder to get you to hate me." Balaam began teasing Kirell again as she tried stopping him.
Meanwhile after Philio explains who he is and looks anxious when Charon asks if he's okay with Balaam and Kirell being together.
"This is strange... I feel nervous... I'm usually so calm, but this feeling... It's so familiar... like I've felt it before." Philio looked very serious.
"It's the desperation of man in love about to lose his lover." Charon tells him.
Philio picked up a two by four, "It might be wrong. But I feel the need to save Kirell from Balaam. I don't want to kill him... just get her away from him." Philio had a crazy red glow in his eyes.
"Oh so this is jealousy." Charon smiled.
"Aren't you going to stop me?" Philio looked at Argo nervously.
"I don't have a right to interfere with Kirell's love life." Argo sighed.
"I think what he means is. Please stop me. I'm losing control." Charon pointed out.
"If that snarky asshole thinks he can run off with my girl he's got another thing coming." Philio replied putting his hood down smiling sarcasticly as he runs off.
"Hey wait!!!" Argo panicked running after Philio.
Philio bursted into the room and whacked Balaam on the head with his two by four, "Miss Kirell. I've come to save you!" He smiled as Kirell looked horrified at how much blood was everywhere.
Argo comes in and sees Kirell is naked and turns around whistling. Charon shrugged not sure ho to react as Argo grabbed Charon in a headlock.
Kirell picked up her gun crying and points it at Philio, "Oh no I didn't kill him. He's breathing." Philio tells her, "Wait... Why are you still pointing the gun at me?" Philio looked scared.
"You hurt Balaam!" Kirell cried.
"Ah I see. It's cause you need a reason to kill! Of course! Go ahead sweetie! My love for you is an ocean endless..." Philio closed his eyes smiling, "Finish your task. Hahahaha my love is going to kill me." Philio cried happily.
Kirell shoots Philio who dropped dead and vanished she holds Balaam crying as he weakly opens his eyes.
"Balaam! Balaam you have to" Kirell vanished.
Balaam grabs at the fading lights looking at it sadly, "Do you hate me yet?" He cried holding it to his heart before letting it go.
"It's just us left." Argo tells Balaam as Balaam gets up putting on his clothes his gun appearing in his hand.
"Yup." Balaam walks out of the building now fully dressed, "Lets get this over with." He sighed.
"I have a message for you both first." Charon explains and Balaam nodded, "Philio asked me to tell Balaam this. You made me realize how impure and twisted my love for Kirell is. That disgusted look on her face and look of anger. I'lol never forget it. Thank you." Charon replied.
"God Philio is so creepy." Balaam groaned.
"Kirell's message is to both of you. You both have to come back!" Charon tells them.
Argo and Balaam stare at each other neither being able to kill the other, "So dad. Let me confess my feelings since you won't do it. I'm tired. I'm tired of all the hate and pain I've had to carry for Kirell. I'm tired of all the fighting and struggling I've done out there. And most of all. I have no purpose to be revived at all." Balaam tells him.
"It isn't like you to accept defeat so easily. Raise your gun and fire at me." Argo cocks his gun, "I'm pointing at you with intent to kill." He tells him.
"Daddy. I want you to go back and repent for why you did to me and Kirell." Balaam smiles looking at his gun, "Shoot me." Balaam drops the gun and looked at Argo.
Argo fires at Balaam killing him and fades away. Charon smiled and claps as Balaam wakes up gasping for breath holding his chest in pain.
"You've done it. You've repented for your sins by putting others before you and refused to commit sin once more." Charon helps Balaam to his feet and hugged him, "So from now you'll be with me. I think I shall enjoy your company assisting me with these souls and you've found the compassionate to help guide them. I'm honored to have you." Charon smiled.
"It feels weird. But hey. If my skills can be used for good than I'm happy with this arrangement too. Maybe I can be half the bad ass you are." Balaam smirked.
"Ha we'll see!" Charon smiles.
From that day forward Balaam became the successor of Charon and assisted him with his activities.

Goal: same as last time but this time Argo's relationship is at the highest instead of Philio
Argo had not wanted to shoot Balaam and thought Balaam would move, but he didn't. This was his chance. His task could be completed... One more shot... Argo couldn't do it. He saw Hilde shove Kirell backwards saying something about ending it herself.

Argo yelled at Kirell, "Kirell shoot Hilde?" He asked.
"No..." Kirell shouted running to tackle Hilde but was interrupted by Charon.
"Yes!" Charon ordered and Argo fires as Hilde was about to bash Balaam in the skull as he looked at her like a pathetic welp.
Kirell tackles Hilde but Argo manages to hit Hilde and not Kirell. Balaam stares at the scene in shock and dismay.
"HILDE!!!" Kirell screamed in tears.
Philio delivered the letter to Kirell and a message for Argo to watch his back from Hilde. Argo couldn't believe what he had done. Balaam couldn't register what just happened either. His nemesis saved him along with Kirell.
After a moment of silience Kirell gets up wiping her tears looking at Balaam and Argo, "You two need to talk. Imma head with Philio to follow my compass." Kirell leaves them alone.
Balaam wasn't even sure what to say and neither was Argo.
"You... you didn't end my life why?" Balaam asked.
"Lately I've been thinking about what Kirell has said about you. Is it possible that you aren't as bad as you act and that I am mistaken once more? The more I think about it. The more fear gripped by heart. I couldn't do it especially after seeing you taking that shot you could of easily dodged. And you didn't raise you gun to try and protect yourself from Hilde... I... I couldn't stand and watch a man who refused to defend himself just die like that." Argo admitted.
"I remembered my family thanks to you. I had someone who was also to weak to defend himself not because he couldn't but he chose not too... that memory... such a bitter sweet one." Argo sighed, "I think that's where my life started going down hill." He nodded smiling softly.
"So what now? Are you giving up?" Balaam asked.
"I don't know. What about yourself?" Argo asked.
"I... I don't have anything to live for." Balaam awnsered sighing, "My partner though nice keeps ditching me and leaving me behind. Philio is creepy and Hilde tried to kill me. All I have left is Charon's suggestion to stay here and become his successor." Balaam sighed.
"I don't have anything to live for myself. I'm a failure of a mentor and even a worse father." Argo sighed, "I don't want to become one of those undead and was hoping you'd take me down. I don't want to kill Kirell she's to sweet." Argo explains.
"Don't you think it's kinda weird it's me who had to kill you and not her? After all... you killed her right?" Balaam asked.
"I can't remember the child's face. I don't know if it was a boy or girl... I just remember there sense of justice." Argo explains.
"Ah... The justice speak. That's what you remember seriously?" Balaam laughed and sat down, "That was after Kirell joined the syndicate. You and your fancy suit and your disgusting cigarettes were sitting on a wall with us. I remember sticking our tongue out you being the silly bratty kid we are." Balaam chuckled holding his arm in pain.
Argo looked confused, "I only spoke to one child that day. There was not two." He explained.
"I'm like Kirell's alter ego. He persona I guess. I existed to help keep Kirell from the pain of what she was doing. As we were a kid and we knew that killing was bad and wanted to justify it. Cause that makes it easier to do it, but noooo you gotta beat a poor kid down and force them to understand what it meant to take a life. Asshole. Yeah killing has no place for people like Kirell who have consciences. But me. I could do it in my sleep. That's what I'd want to say, but even that's a lie. Even I can't handle killing the nice ones." Balaam sighed.
"An alter ego?" Argo is surprised, "So you do honestly have nothing to love for as that life belongs to Kirell and not you." Argo nodded.
"Yup." Balaam nodded.
"So I'd have to ask. Would you or Kirell let me kill you?" Argo asked.
"You'd probably have better have better luck asking Philio." Balaam shrugged.
"Ah yes him. Well Imma go ask than." Argo gets up.
"I'll follow. If I be honest. I rather not live as an undead either but I'm not ready to give up just yet. I'm still fighting myself." Balaam sighed.
Argo puts his arm around Balaam, "I'll be glad to end you before that." He explains.
"Yeah thanks." Balaam heads into a building when he hears a gunshot, "KIRELL!?!" Balaam ran into the building in a panick.
Kirell looked at Balaam crying as she dropped her gun. Argo sees Philio fade away and Balaam dropped to his knees.
"Kirell..." Balaam cried as she was beginning to fade away and reach for her, "Take me with you." He cried.
Kirell looked so confused and concerned as she vanished. Balaam was on the floor crying in despair.
"This is just a sad display." Charon sat on the hospital bed looking at them both, "Two days left and two people who still are fighting against thier tasks and resolves." Charon takes.
Argo picked Balaam up and has him lean on him, "You could give me permission to kill him." Argo tells Charon who smiled sadisticly.
"Yes I could. But this is perfect problem for your task. Look at you. Holding the sad child who is suffering in your arms begging for death yet not strong enough to ask with no way to end thier suffering. Can you kill them twice over just like before or will you use this chance to redeem yourself from the mistake of your past. You have two days." Charon laughed turning into the wind.
"Kirell is gone... What do I do... she really left me. I'm going to become an undead if I don't do something." Balaam groaned feeling so weak.
"DAM IT CHARON! This is sick!" Argo shouted in anger.
Argo takes Balaam to the church as he knows they'll be safe from undead there. Balaam is holding his gun tightly trying desperately to build his will power.
"I have to. I have to. It's live or die. I have to..." Balaam whispered as Argo cocked the gun pointing it in Balaam's face.
Balaam weakly looked at Argo as if he couldn't see him and slowly points his gun at Argo cocking it.
"There you go Balaam. I fully intend to kill you now. Remember your task. Stay focused don't lose sight of it. Don't let emotions cloud your mind." Argo tells him, "Shoot me." Argo tells him.
"I don't want to." Balaam lowers his weapon and Argo felt angry.
"I don't want have to kill you either!" Argo tells him.
Balaam thinks about and puts his head against the muzzle, "Shoot me." Balaam ordered.
Argo shook and trembled until he threw his gun to the side to hold his face crying, "I've already made this mistake once! I'm not doing it again!" Argo broke down in tears.
Balaam looked at Argo and crawled into his lap hugging tightly surprising Argo, "Than why??? Why did you do it?" Balaam asked in tears as Argo explains everything hugging Balaam tightly.
Balaam looked at Argo nodding, "I've decided. I'm going to forgive you. And I want to try being your son again. And this time I'm going to try harder to protect you." Balaam swore and Argo bursted into tears holding Balaam like he was child.
"I'd like that. I really would." Argo decided and they grabbed there gun counting to three and shoot each other finally putting an end to the game.
Charon claps happily, "Ah the bonds of family. Even no blood related ones prevailed in the end. This is truly another good ending." Charon headed back to work.
