-Calming Down an Enraged Hilde-

Goal: Have a somewhat high relationship with everyone but Balaam is at 100% by day three (it's possible which suprized me) Take Philio so he's on your side. Also try and get super high relationship with Philio so he can decided to stop being so middle man and take a side. (Surprising also possible)

Note: In story by day two Charon helped Balaam realized he's Kirell and that he can have his own body so long as his goal isn't revenge. That's why Balaam isn't acting like he does in game.

Day 5 (Someone must die)

Kirell looked around the buildings with Philio until she finds Hilde. Hilde tried to kill her, but Kirell doesn't want to kill her and Hilde isn't having it.

Kirell gets into some serious trouble and believes she's dead. Balaam comes in and whacks Hilde unconcious shaking.

"Balaam!?! But aren't you suppose to fighting Argo?" Kirell blinked.

"He's busy with the undead but he'll be here soon." Balaam grabbed Hilde as Argo came in, "Shit! Kirell behind me!" Balaam held Hilde hostage.

"You seriously think I don't know how to save Hilde?" Argo was approaching like a wolf.

"Run Kirell he's not going to shoot!" Balaam and Kirell run as Philio panicked followed them.

"GET BACK HERE!" Argo hissed cocking his gun.

"The moment you shoot she's good as dead!" Balaam warned as they kept running.

"I... I can't go on." Philio was breathing hard.

"Dam it! What do I do?!?" Balaam puts his back against the wall holding Hilde, "I didn't think Hilde be a problem for you. If we just had time to talk to her and calm her down." Balaam sighed.

"Balaam if you don't let Hilde go. Argo might actually kill you." Kirell cried.

"Excuse me. Can I ask you two something?" Philio asked.

"Be quick Philio Argo can be here any second." Balaam winced.

Philio thinks about this carefully, "How much time do you need to talk to Hilde?" Philio asked.

"Err. One day. I know it's cutting it short." Balaam explains.

"Alright. I'm going to stall him." Philio ran off, "Head to the church so the undead don't bother you." Philio tells them.

They run to the church and try to catch their breath as Balaam lays Hilde down. Ron walked inside and looked at them writing things down.

"Interesting. I told you someone had to die today but your not killing anyone." Ron tells Balaam.

"What?!? When did you say that?!?" Kirell jumped.

"Oops did I say that out loud?" Ron winced.

"Look I panicked okay. I didn't want Kirell to hate me and think I've given up on her dumb resurrection for all. Please help out." Balaam begged.

"Hmmm... she's far to angry to listen to words. I see. There's only one option than. Balaam point you're gun at me. I will lead Kirell's compass to the special item that will save you both from Hilde's wrath." Ron replied.

"What!?! You want us to kill you, but your task!" Kirell cried.

"Oh it's fake dear Kirell." Ron puts on wig and mask.

"Charon!?!" Kirell was in shock.

"Uh... Will your death even work? I mean can you even die???" Balaam asked confused.

"It's a bit complicated. I do die but I come back eventually. It's my compass so yes it'll work." Charon explains.

"I see." Balaam pointed the gun at Charon and looked around, "Uh... you need to want to kill me to shoot you." Balaam explains.

"Ah hold on." Charon walked over to Balaam and touched his gun, "Now try." Charon backs off.

Balaam looked at the gun confused, "Look at the one before you and ask... Is thier life worth end anymore than mine?" Balaam read, "What is this?" Balaam asked.

"It feels different I bet. But you should know this gun isn't yours. It's Kirell's gun. I'm letting you use it. Can you feel the difference?" Charon asked.

Balaam pointed the gun at Charon, "Huh... Weird. It's been awhile since. I felt guilt." Balaam lowered the gun wincing, "Pfff. My yin to my yang." Balaam smirked.

"What are you talking about?!?" Kirell puffed and Balaam handed her the gun.

"Why are you giving me the gun?" Kirell jumped confused, "It's just going to... Hey it's not coming back to you!?!" Kirell blinked.

"It's your gun. Read it." Balaam ordered.

Kirell reads the inscription, "Mine says fight as if your life depends on it." He explains.

Kirell feels really pale when she reads it, "It's our regret. Our hesitation. So it can only kill those who want to die... right?" Balaam asked.

"Correct." Charon smiled.

"So... We really have to kill Charon?" Kirell asked in tears as Balaam takes the gun back.

"Yeah. Don't worry about nothing. Your not killing nothing until I'm gone." Balaam pointed at Charon and sighed, "Thanks for everything. I'm going to miss your annoying ass." Balaam held back tears.

"Embrace your guilt. And your pain. Shoot me!" Charon smiled and Balaam shoots Charon dropping the gun and grabbing his hair freaking out.

Charon falls to the floor and vanished onto ash disappearing with a sudden breeze, "Remember this guilt. It belongs to you now. Use it to become a better person for yourself and Kirell." Charon whispered to Balaam as he flew off with the wind.

Balaam was on the floor in tears as he remembered his friendship with Charon and he remembered his shortly ended other friendships with his other syndicate brothers and sisters who he either watched die or killed himself.

Kirell's compass begins to stop and she looked at Balaam hugging him, "Balaam we have to go before Hilde wakes up." Kirell tells him.

"No you go." Balaam stands up and grabbed the gun that he sees returned to his own gun, "I'll watch over Hilde. Just becareful." Balaam tells her smiling bravely.

She hugged him tightly, "Were all going to get through this together." Kirell runs off following the compass.

Hilde wakes up and Balaam tried to hold her down and calm her down. Argo would soon burst into the room with Philio cocking the gun.

"Sorry Balaam. I tried so hard..." Philio looked apologetic.

"Where's Kirell?" Argo hissed.

Balaam held Hilde back and looked at Argo, "It's okay Philio. I figured... I wasn't going to make it. Just promise me. Protect Kirell for me." Balaam cried.

Philio looked away in fear and unease. Argo aimed his gun at Balaam.

"Let go of Hilde." Argo ordered.

Balaam released Hilde who ran over to Argo, "This is where it ends for you Balaam." Argo went to shoot but Philio ran up and hugged Balaam to his surprise.

"No! Your going to have to shoot us both!" Philio cried.

"Hey what are you thinking! They'll kill you too dumb ass! Kirell needs you alive!" Balaam hissed.

"I don't know. I don't know. But right now I feel like I need to protect you somehow with my life!" Philio looked at Argo, "Please. Just listen to him. He didn't kill Hilde. So can't we just talk?" Philio begged.

"There's nothing you villains can say! Shoot them Argo!" Hilde screamed.

"Balaam I found it! I found this weird doll!" Kirell ran up behind Hilde and Argo.

Balaam shoved Philio to the ground taking the shot for Philio and looked at Kirell smiling sadly.

"BALAAM!?!" Kirell dropped the doll in tears as Balaam fell to the floor.

Kirell shoved everyone aside running to Balaam not even caring anymore about her own safety.

"He... he shoved me out of the way. Even though he knew he'd die." Philio was shaking.

"Balaam Balaam speak to me!" Kirell cried.

"Hey what I say about getting all emotional on me?" Balaam coughed smiling.

Hilde picked up the doll confused and gasped as Argo cocked the gun, "NO DONT SHOOT!" Hilde screamed and shoved Argo to the side, "Kirell where did you get this?!?" Hilde demanded.

"Ron died to help us... and my compass pointed it to a drawer where it was hidding." Kirell explains.

"It's our friend's silly ghost dolls she'd make before the accident." Balaam smiled.

"Our friend!?! Wait did we have the same friend?!? I remember that dream. It was so awlful..." Kirell explains.

"Hilde. Kirell and I are the same person." He pointed to Argo who's starting to fade away, "Argo's job was to kill me or Kirell to complete his task. It's better... if it's me. I'm just no good." Balaam was getting weaker.

"You saved Philio! You are nice guy! No one gave you a chance it's not fair!" Kirell tells him.

"Kirell. As long as you don't hate me..." Balaam goes limp.

"Balaam please come back! I don't understand!" Kirell cried.

"I see. Balaam and Kirell are the same person." Argo felt numb.

Philio handed Kirell the gun, "Kirell. If you and Balaam are the same maybe you can finish his task for him." Philio tells her.

Kirell takes the gun crying and shoots at Argo, "DIE JUST DIE ILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" Kirell shouted at Argo who flinched in shock.

The bullets go through Argo as he vanished, "Seems you were to late." Charon walked in on them.

"NO NO!!!" Kirell screamed in anger and tears.

Hilde hugged Kirell crying, "Hey it's okay. It's going to be okay." She tried to calm Kirell down.

"Balaam isn't going to get resurrected... I wasn't fast enough... Balaam... I'm so sorry." Kirell cried.

"I have a message from Argo and Balaam to both of you." Philio tells Kirell and Hilde softly.

"I don't want to hear anything that murder Argo has to say!" There was so much rage inside Kirell her eyes were glowing red.

"Look. This is as much of my fault as it is Argo. I told him to shoot... if I hadn't Balaam would of been alive." Hilde tells Kirell.

"What?!?" Kirell looked at Hilde in shock.

"Look! Argo can't shoot his gun on his own. So if I had told him not to shoot." Hilde explains and Kirell pointed her gun at Hilde.

"Hmmm This isn't good." Charon sighed.

"Kirell please calm down. Don't you want to hear what Balaam has to say about all this?" Philio asked.

"He's dead! He's dead because Hilde and Argo wouldn't listen to us! Because they are stupid hard headed basterds that wouldn't listen to reason! We tried over and over to talk and you guys refused! Why the hell should I listen than?!?" Kirell stood up her eyes were burning with fire.

"Wait..." Hilde holds up the doll, "It's me Kirell. I'm your friend that died in a car accident. Please I'm so sorry. I didn't know. If I knew. I would of never doubted you." Hilde cried holding up the doll.

Kirell cried and points the gun at her heart making Philio jump to his feet in panick, "I CAN'T TAKE IT! This stupid game! So many people friends had to hurt each other over something so stupid as resurrection! It's cruel evil! I hate it! I don't want to be part of it anymore!!!" Kirell screamed and Philio grabbed the gun from her and she accidentally shoots him.

"Philio! I... no!!!" Kirell dropped the gun In panick.

"It's okay. Please. Just stay calm." Philio falls to the floor and fades away.

"Oh dear. This is getting pretty dark." Charon sighed.

Kirell throws the gun to the side shuffling away from it, "Please just stop!" Kirell cried hugging her legs crying in pain, "I don't want to go back. I don't deserve it. I let one of my friends die." Kirell cried in tears.

Hilde hugged Kirell tightly, "It's okay. It's going to be okay. I know it's hard to accept, but at least I'm here now. Your going to be okay. I promise." Hilde tells Kirell.

"Okay. Right. I'm not alone. My friend is here. It's going to be okay." Kirell nodded wiping her tears, "Why... why couldn't you both just listen." Kirell cried harder.

"I'm sorry." Hilde cried too.

"If you've calmed down. Would you like to hear what the ones who have passed had to say?" Charon asked.

"Yeah... sorry." Kirell wiped her tears.

"But I thought only Philio could do that?" Hilde asked.

"What makes you think I can't do it too?" Charon smiles.

"Well. Doesn't that make Philio's task pointless when your here?" Hilde asked.

"No not at all. I only give messages he hasn't heard or he didn't deliver." Charon replied, "Otherwise. I let him tell the messages he heard." Charon replied.

"Huh I see." Hilde nodded.

"Can we do Philio first. I feel bad I shot him." Kirell asked.

"Philio says to keep a cool head and learn to forgive others along with yourself. That will lead you to path of resurrection." Charon explains.

"Alright. I guess next is Balaam." Hilde nodded.

"Philio asks you Hilde to watch over Kirell for him and help her through these rough times." Charon replied.

"Oh I didn't think he'd leave me a message. Yeah don't worry I'm totally going to do that!" Hilde nodded.

"Balaam asks you Hilde to forgive Kirell and him and begs you to not hurt Kirell. That he's sorry for his actions." Charon replied.

Hilde nodded not sure how to feel about that, "Balaam apologized don't you have anything to say?!?" Kirell growled.

"I just feel like I should of given him a chance and I'm sorry." Hilde sighed.

"And mine?" Kirell asked Charon.

"We are the same you and I. Everything you hate inside. I am the darkness in your heart. I will always be with you. Watching over you and protecting you even in death so long as you exist then I do to." Charon awnsered.

Kirell turned red, "What in the world? What kind of message is that?" Kirell blushed.

Charon walks over and points to her gun, "He's just trying to make it clear to you. He's a part of you Kirell. That's why you can use his gun if situations allow it. And why he can use your gun which is an exact copy of his and how he knows how it works and why he saved Philio. He knew in order to complete your task your going to have to kill someone and accept your a murder. He didn't want you to have to kill Hilde who he already suspected of being your best friend." Charon explains.

"Holy shit! So he wasn't joking when he said that if we had the same task I'd literally be Balaam 2.0!" Kirell turned red.

"I got admit that's a terrifying idea, but seeing how he protected you and changed I think he's not as bad as either of us think he is. Yeah. I know it. Because he's still Kirell! That means he has her good parts in him too!" Hilde smiled.

"Balaam... I hated your guts. Than I stupidly feel in love with your odd kindness. And now your dead. But I guess your not gone... This is weird." Kirell turned red.

"Ahaha yes it must be." Charon laughed.

"Pfff Balaam turned into Kirell 2.0." Kirell joked.

"Haha yes! Funny how that works." Charon replied happily.

Hilde laughed and cried nodding, "I want to give him a letter now. Err. Can I give two letters to Kirell? I know it's weird, but I feel I have too!" Hilde asked.

"Hmm..." Charon thinks about this, "Just this once." He replied nodding handing her his pencil.

"Okay." Hilde writes two letters and gives them to Kirell, "Read these after you kill me." She tells her.

"What!?! I'm not..." Kirell cried.

"You have to! I want you to come back. I'll help you face Argo again. You won't have to face him alone. You can tell him how you truly feel about him and maybe we can all forgive each other." Hilde pointed out.

Kirell takes the letters crying, "Okay. Let's here Argo's message than." She clutched the letters tightly trying to be brave.

"To Hilde. Thank you for all your help. I hope that you're helping Kirell right now. I don't know if she'll forgive me. But if you can get her to listen to what I have to say. That be appreciated." Charon tells them.

"I'm listening Argo. I'm still mad, but I'm listening." Kirell teared up.

"Kirell. It seems I've mad the same mistake as last time. I acted rashly and jumped to conclusion deciding that this action was best for everyone. Instead I've only hurt you and Balaam again. I think when I get back. I'm going to end my life as contract killer once and for all and purse another life maybe than you'll forgive me." Charon smiled.

Kirell nodded crying, "When we met again. I'd like to call you dad one more time." Kirell teared up, "You can thank Balaam for helping me remember you." Kirell cried harder.

"It's time. Ladies. Choose Kirell live or die?" Charon asked.

Kirell weakly pointed the gun at Hilde who helped her hold it, "It's okay Kirell. I'm here with you." Hilde cried nodding.

"I'm sorry Hilde... Thank you so much." Kirell fires along with Hilde killing Hilde.

Kirell dropped the gun and weakly looked at the two messages, "To Balaam Kirell's inner darkness. You are a scary man, but you protect Kirell from the bad people and you take her pain putting it all on you. You are Kirell's shield. When I couldn't be there to help her heal. Thank you for being there for my friend when I couldn't." Kirell cried.

Kirell reads the final message, "I'm sorry for ever doubting you and even hating you. Next time I'm going to support you 100% of the way! I promise." Kirell smiled crying.

"You will never see Balaam about but he lives on through you. Make sure that both of you have a happier life this time. And be less hard on yourself so he doesn't have to suffer so much." Charon explains.

"Thank you." Kirell faded away.

"And it has ended. How scary that almost became. I should be more careful next time if I want to mess with my own games." Charon leaves.

The End

-Everyone Together-

Goal: Balaam and Hilde friendship at the highest possible when you first met Hilde.

They discovered the scared Hilde hidding in the bushes. Balaam was being super scary as Kirell didn't want no part of his scary ways. Ron was watching them curiously.

Balaam was about to let Hilde go when Ron speaks up, "Balaam why don't we take her with us? It'll make my task easier. Plus I'm curious what kind of interactions we will have with each other." Ron suggested, "She's obviously unarmed and no threat to us like us. And if I want to get my task done. I need all the people I can get. Besides. I don't think she's the one your looking for. It be odd if you have to kill an unarmed person given the condition of your gun." Ron replied.

"Excuse me!?!" Balaam pointed his gun at Ron, "What do you know about my gun?" Balaam was on edge.

"Well. I just been thinking about it. If you could shoot it at will. You'd probably just kill everyone. After all that be safer than having to interact with everyone and getting betrayed in the end right?" Ron suggested.

"He does got a point." Kirell realized.

"Fine fine. I'll admit that I don't think this girl isn't the one I'm looking for... or rather something seems off. Like she's not the one but maybe she could be..." Balaam shakes his head.

"Miss could you tell us your task? I'm sure that'll help put miss scary gun man to ease and help him realize you have no intention of killing him." Ron asked.

"Oh well... my task is to deliver a heartfelt letter. I don't know to who though. These is what I have to work with." She handed Kirell a blank letter than nervously handed Balaam one and than Ron.

"There's nothing on it." Kirell pointed out.

"Doesn't seem like she has anything to write with either." Ron replied, "Your task is similar to mine. I must write things down as I see them. Perhaps I can even share my pencil to help you with your task." Ron suggested.

"I feel like I'm in charge of sort of writing committee." Balaam gagged.

"You can be our leader. Helping us deliver our words of truth to battle the evils of the world through the media and blasting anyone dares to stop us with force!" Ron suggested.

"Not going to lie but that's fucking bad ass!" Balaam beamed, "You just know exactly what to say to get me excited to try new things." Balaam replied.

"I'm not going to lie. But I kinda think that's cool too. I want to do that now! Can I be like the editter who proof reads everything and checks it?" Kirell replied.

"Uh... but I don't like writing. Though it would be cool if my words could actually stop bad guys." Hilde considered it.

"Haha. Sorry Im very imaginative it seems. But still I think there's a lot we can gain from having her on our side." Ron explains.

"Well... she does know about our tasks already and if we watched her. She couldn't rat us out to our enemies." Balaam nodded.

"I don't think uh Hilde was it? I don't think she'll be comfortable with us since she knows our task." Kirell winced.

"But she doesn't have to be our enemy. I mean it's just a task that neither of you chose to do. It's not like you can help if it's bad. And I think everyone's going to have different ways of going about thier tasks." Ron replied.

"True... I'll leave it up to the cry baby. You think you can bare being our hostage?" Balaam asked.

Kirell punched his arm, "She doesn't have to be a hostage!" She growled.

"Hey it might work out better in her favor and ours if she pretends she's our hostage. After all. It'll definitely help me kill anyone trying to save her if I need to." Balaam smiled.

"Ugh. I don't like how your using me as bait." Hilde frowned.

"It's just for his task but I'm sure he won't just instantly kill them. Otherwise he would of killed us three by now. He needs someone specific. If it's just one person and it's not us. Than why not let him do it? I know it might be wrong but for all we know the guy has to kill could be a bad guy." Ron suggests.

"True." Kirell nodded.

"Hate it to break it to you both. But I'm pretty sure I'm the bad guy." Balaam admitted.

"Do you really believe that or do you want to scare us so you can do your task alone and feel less guilty if it is actually one of us." Ron asked.

Balaam frowned, "Honestly I'm not sure how to awnsered that." He shrugged.

"You should be more honest with yourself. Just because your task is to kill a specific person doesn't mean you have to do it alone." Ron tells him.

"You say that. But yet I'm the only one with a gun here." Balaam responded.

"The others can help you without guns. Besides aren't you even curious why your task is what it is?" Ron asked.

"No not really. If someone tells me do this or die. Well I think it's pretty obvious I should do it and not question it." Balaam sighed.

"Well. I don't care if Hilde wants to stay. I mean... I guess the more people I have the more choices I have on who I want to die for my task... And if it could be someone bad who deserves it. Than I'd feel a lot better." Kirell responded.

"Wouldn't that mean... Balaam should be your first choice?" Hilde winced.

"Oh I'm just waiting for my time. Trust me." Kirell replied.

"Haha. Oh that's funny." Balaam laughed.

"Excuse me?" Kirell looked confused.

"This is why I like you. Your not saying you won't but your not saying you will either. You act all soft, but I can tell you could kill plenty of you put your mind too it." Balaam beamed.

"Well naturally anyone could kill a person in the right situation Balaam." Ron sighed, "Even little Hilde might defend herself if she feels threatened enough. Everyone is capable of murder. But it's still a choice whether we go through it or not." Ron replied.

"Yeah yeah. But I got a feeling me and Kirell are the same." Balaam sighed, "But that's beside the point. You going to join us Hildey? Play hostage for me okay?" Balaam smiled.

"Ugh... I really don't want too... but I'm curious about you guys. Are you really the bad guys or not?" Hilde asked.

"Guess you'll just have to join us and find out huh?" Ron replied.

"Yeah guess so." Hilde nodded.

Kirell's compass makes a sound and switches it's direction startling everyone.

"What the heck?" Balaam jumped.

"It changed directions." Kirell blinked surprised.

"Oh interesting!" Ron was delightfully surprised.

"I thought you needed someone to die for it to work though?" Hilde was confused.

"I do. Balaam killed that guy and it was working, but for some reason it changed direction." Kirell awnsered.

"Yeah because it didn't stop spinning until that moment." Balaam nodded.

"So does that mean it can change direction whenever it wants?" Kirell asked confused.

"No... it's because something changed. Perhaps it's because Hilde is with us. Balaam was going to let her go, but we kept her instead." Ron replied.

"That means I was suppose to let her go and you changed it. And the fact you know something changed means you know just what the heck is going to happen and more." Balaam pointed out.

"No wait..." Ron panicked, "I'm trying to say that perhaps our actions changed the direction of the compass. Like originally you both wanted her to just leave. By keeping her we've changed the direction of the compass." Ron tried to explain.

"Yeah. I don't know. Your not going to talk your way out of this one. I'm on to you." Balaam replied.

"Kirell please help me out." Ron begged.

"Well it did change as soon as Hilde agreed. So maybe he's not wrong... He just words it weird. Come on. We should follow this new lead and see where it takes us all." Kirell was kind of interested now.

"Fine." Balaam sighed and they followed the compass to an abandoned school.

"This place feels familiar somehow." Kirell tried to remember.

"Yeah I'm totally picking up those vibes!" Balaam awnsered.

"I am too. Like I've been here before." Hilde responded.

"I feel like I lived here." Kirell winced.

"You lived in a school?" Hilde looked at Kirell in shock.

"Same. I'm not sure why. But it feels homey." Balaam smiled.

"You too!?! You have to be pulling my leg!" Kirell hissed and Balaam shrugged.

"Perhaps this school wasn't a real school. I've heard things about run aways and orphans living in abandon buildings. Maybe it's that kind of thing." Ron suggested.

"Ugh. Why the hell do I feel like you're hitting the nail on the head?" Balaam hissed, "But at the same time no." He frowned.

"Let's just go in. I'm sure the awnser must be inside." Ron sighed not going to win this one.

"It's pointing to this old school house next to the school." Kirell realized.

"Holy shit it just feels so deja vu! It's freaking me out!" Balaam cried.

"I can almost see myself living here..." Kirell was in awe.

They enter the school house and head to the office, "This place!?!" Kirell gasped opening the room to a room full of ghost puppets.

"Oh so cute! There's so many!" Hilde chirped.

"No way in hell am I going in there!" Balaam was unnerved but froze when he saw something in the chair, "Mr. Spooky!" Balaam ran inside to Kirell's surprise and picked up a doll, "It's my best friend!" He was so happy and hugged it.

Kirell sees that her compass is pointing at the doll, "My compass is pointing straight at the doll you have." She tells him.

"No way! I'll die before I give up Spookoms! He's the only good memory I have!" Balaam hissed.

Hilde picked up a doll with a big head, "I like this one. Can I keep it?" She asked.

"Sure I guess. But you ain't taking this one!" Balaam hissed.

"But why is my compass pointing at it?!?" Kirell asked.

"I don't know and I don't care! He's mine!" Balaam held it protectively.

"I didn't realize you have a childish side to you Balaam it's cute." Ron laughed.

"Shut up!" Balaam hissed.

"Can I see it?" Kirell asked.

Balaam groaned and handed it to her, "It feels... so familiar... and yet so painful." Kirell hugged the doll looking vulnerable.

"Shit! I ran into this room without thinking!" Balaam looked panick and scared.

He takes the doll from Kirell and runs out of the room, "Wait." He paused thinking, "Kirell!" Balaam shouted.

"What is it!?!" Kirell asked and he handed her the doll.

"Teddy is here." Balaam tells her.

"Huh!?!" Kirell blinked.

"My teddy bear. Shut up." Are you both coming or not?" Balaam blushed.

"Sure. Why not." Hilde followed with Kirell as Balaam is following his instincts.

"Wait... what??? The compass isn't pointing to the doll it's pointing to Balaam!?!" Kirell realized gasping very confused.

Balaam opens the door and the compass makes a clicking sound startling them all, "It moves again!" Kirell replied

"Where is it pointing now?" Balaam looked at her confused.

Kirell enters the room and followed the compass, "The teddy bear!?!" Kirell flinched.

"It's teddy!" Balaam takes it and hugged it, "Teddy..." Balaam felt so emotional right now and looked sad.

"Why is it covered in blood?" Hilde winced.

Kirell sees the compass spin aroun, "My compass is spinning now." She pointed out.

"Wait? So is it the doll or the teddy it was pointing at?" Hilde asked.

"Uh... at one point it pointed to Balaam too." Kirell admitted.

Balaam thinks about this, "Hey you said this is all familiar to you. What about this room?he asked.

Kirell looked around, "This is my room. I think." She explains.

"No it's mine." Balaam tells her, "My teddy. My doll. My room." He tells her.

"Did we like both live here or something?" Kirell asked confused.

"Hmmm. I don't know. Hey do you remember any animals that come in here?" Balaam asked.

Kirell thinks, "I think there was a black kitty that come visit." She nodded.

"What's it's name?" Balaam asked.

"Mr. Snooty Face?" Kirell asked.

"Yup. Seems like we both lived in this room than." Balaam sighed.

"So wait does that mean? You and I are actually friends?" Kirell was shocked.

"I don't know about that." Balaam sighed.

"It's weird thinking you both were friends." Hilde winced.

"Hey. I got a fun idea. Let's play a game. I'll ask questions and awnser them honestly. Such as favorite colors and hobbies. Maybe they have a lot of similar tastes." Ron suggested.

"Sure whatever." Balaam shrugged.

So as Ron does his game Balaam gets this unsettling feeling that he's not just Kirell's friend but they are exactly alike. Like she could of been him and he could of been her.

Kirell winced not happy about any of this, "Our awnsers are nearly identical... So far the only difference is Balaam like cats more and I like dogs more if we had to chose between them!" Kirell sighed.

Balaam is thinking deeply about this looking at Kirell's compass, the dolls and her.

"Ugh I really don't like this!" Kirell hissed, "I think I wanna kill myself if Balaam is seriously my best friend." Kirell hissed.

"Geez. I'm not bad. I'm only playing villain cause if I could play hero with my task. I totally would. But that's impossible." Balaam sighed.

"Why?!? Just cause you have to kill a specific person. You don't even know who it's going to be. You could just be everyone's friend figure out who it is. What kind of person they are and figure out why you should be killing them." Kirell pointed out.

"But what if they are a good person? See the problem? If I find that out than it'll blind me from what's important. Getting resurrected." Balaam explains.

"Than maybe you should just accept that a person like yourself doesn't deserve to live!" Kirell tells him.

Balaam looks at the floor looking very gloomy, "That's just too depressing. And not my style. I think... that my task makes it clear. Fight if your life depends on it. If I want to be resurrected I have to fight for it. Whether I deserve it or not doesn't matter. I want to live and that's enough for me." Balaam replied.

"I think you're being to harsh. We don't even know much about Balaam or his situation. In fact we hardly know about our own situations and lives. We shouldn't judge each other so hastily." Ron explains.

"Pfff. Finally you say something helpful and that makes sense." Balaam sighed.

"I know that some of our tasks aren't ordeal but if we treat them all like a mystery that needs to be solved to understand why we have them than it's not so bad!" Ron explained.

"A mystery that needs to be solved. Why a compass. What does it mean. Why can it change directions. What does it mean." Kirell awnsered.

"Huh. Wow. That's really crazy. So uh?!? We should like think really deeply about our tasks and it's purpose to understand it all right?" Hilde asked.

"Yeah." Ron smiled.

"I have a gun. I have to kill someone. I think it's pretty simple. Kill or be killed." Balaam awnsered.

"I don't think so. Guns can protect others. It can also be a warning or perhaps a different message." Ron replied.

Balaam thinks about it, "Like what??? You actually expect me to think I have to kill a bad guy. That doesn't feel right. My gut says I'm the bad guy." Balaam replied.

"Than it's a warning perhaps. It could mean that because the way you are. Your going to be put into dangerous situations. It's telling you to defend yourself but also to be prepared. But not necessary to kill. That's still a choice." Ron explains.

"Self defense..." Balaam paused, "Huh..." he points his gun at Ron again, "Dam it. Your doing it again! That shit! Getting in my head and fucking with me!" Balaam hissed.

"This again!?!" Kirell sighed.

"I don't understand what Ron's doing that you think is messing with your head! I think he genuinely wants to help you Balaam. I think he wants to help you see that maybe your task has more to do than just senselessly killing people!" Hilde declared, "Why don't you just calm down and stop acting so paranoid!" Hilde gets in Balaam's face.

"Uh! Hilde!?!" Kirell cried out in fear that Balaam might shoot her.

"If you ask me! It's seems like Ron is the only one who genuinely cares about you and your well being." Hilde hissed.

"Hehe interesting idea but sure." Ron smiled, "I care as much as I care about the rest of you all." He admitted.

"Well your the only one standing up to Balaam and trying to talk some sense into him and show him there's other options that he's just ignoring!" Hilde protested.

"Alright! Alright!" Balaam lowered his gun sweating, "Geez. Maybe I am on edge. After all. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to shoot one of you or not. So... maybe that's why I'm so guarded. Can you please stop yelling at me? I'll calm my shit." Balaam looked uncomfortable.

"She calmed Balaam down and he didn't shoot her. Hilde scares me now." Kirell realized.

"Wow Hilde. I'm impressed and I think I'm terrified of you." Kirell admitted.

"Oops I got cared away." Hilde turned red, "Well. Let's just try to make the best of this shitty situation together. And Balaam. If it is one of us. Well maybe I'll consider letting you shoot me if I think your not an awlful person." Hilde tells him.

"I'm thankful I guess?" Balaam sighed.

"You can always shoot me." Ron smiled.

"Than why are you acting like I can't!?!" Balaam spazed.

"Hmmm. I don't know. I just like how annoyed you look." Ron laughed.

"Can I please kill him?!?" Balaam asked Kirell.

"No!" Kirell scowled.

"Ugh. Just wait. If I find out I'm supposed to shoot you. You better hide." Balaam swore.

"It's like he completely ignored everything we just said." Hilde sighed.

"It's fine. Let's sleep here." Ron suggested.

"Aren't you worried Balaam will shoot you?" Kirell asked.

"Nah we're friends right Balaam!?!" Ron beamed.

Balaam points a gun at Ron's head, "I think you need another reality check." Balaam tells him.

"Go head. But I know I'm not the one you need to shoot. Shooting me is pointless." Ron replied.

"That's not true. If I shoot you. Kirell's compass will work again." Balaam smirked.

"Hmm true." Ron blinked thinking about this and wondered what to do as the other girls might save him and get hurt, "Alright. I confess. I know how your gun works." Ron smiled.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKING SNAKE I KNEW IT!" Balaam hissed, "Fess up! How did you find out!" Balaam ordered.

"I'll only confess if you lower your gun. As you can't shoot me. But if Kirell or Hilde think I'm worth saving and attack you. You can shoot them." Ron explains.

"So you really do know!" Balaam was pissed and lowered his gun.

"What!?! So as long as we don't attack Balaam he can't shoot us?" Hilde asked.

"Self defense. Balaam can only kill someone who's going to kill him." Ron smiled.

"Who fucking hell are you!?! I never told anyone! The only one who knows is me and Charon who told me!" Balaam shouted.

"Isn't that obvious by now Balaam. Really your not an idiot. And that's not the only thing. Strange that Kirell's compass lead to this place so familiar to you both. You feel it even on day one. A strange connection. It's easy to write off but yet it nags at your head doesn't it?" Ron's eyes turn red.

Balaam laughed, "Oh my god. Oh my fucking god! Your fucking serious!?! Fuck." Balaam sat in the bed, "What the fuck does that even mean for me?!? How the fuck am I even here?!? I mean what the fuck?!?" He just looked at Kirell and laughed, "So... let me get this straight." Balaam focused.

"Ron is Charon in disguise. And Kirell and I aren't just connected we are literally the same person." Balaam thinks nodding.

"What!?! I don't understand!!!" Hilde replied.

"Is Balaam like my twin brother?" Kirell asked.

"You can say that." Balaam gets up.

"We don't even look the same!" Kirell protested.

Balaam just shrugged, "So... Ron... Yeah. I know who you are. Don't worry your secrete is safe with me but enlighten me on something. My resurrection... my task... isn't it kind of pointless?" Balaam sighed.

"Obviously not." Ron tells him.

"You know what I mean! Why the hell am I here... I shouldn't..." Balaam sighed.

"Let me say this. You like everyone else can be reborn. And have a life of your own. Where you'll be able to choose your own life. And you can do that even if everyone else is resurrected with you." Ron replied.

"Well obviously right?" Kirell felt confused and left out.

"Yeah? Why shouldn't Balaam be here?" Hilde asked.

"Are you going to tell them?" Ron asked.

"Pff would they even believe me. I know it's true because my gut is screaming at me." Balaam sighed.

"It's your choice." Ron tells him.

"Well. Might as well give it a shot. I don't care if they believe me or not." Balaam shrugged.

"Just tell us already!" Kirell was getting very fidgety.

"Kirell it's not because we're twins. We'd surely remember each other. We are the same person. And before you say bullshit. Give it time. If we have the same dreams it proves it. Because even twins will have different dreams." Balaam tells her.

"Were the same person?!?" Kirell looked shocked.

"But that's impossibly right!?! How is there two of you here!?!" Hilde asked in horror.

"Honestly I don't know." Balaam sighed, "But do you guys believe me?" He asked.

"I honestly don't want too... but something is telling me your not lying and that you might be right." Kirell felt sick.

"I guess. I mean you two have similar tastes and this place is similar to you. So I guess!?!" Hilde replied in shock.

"Seriously? You believe me??? Huh... Honestly didn't expect that..." Balaam wasn't sure what to do now.

"So if your me... than? What about your resurrection?" Kirell asked.

"Yeah. I was just asking about that. From what Ron says. I might get my own body. But I got a feeling there's a catch." Balaam sighed.

"Possibly. Perhaps if you found a new reason for living..." Ron suggested.

"Easy done." Balaam awnsered.

"Haha. Your fast. Alright. Just so you know that determination shall be tested." Ron tells him.

"Bring it on! I feel even more excited about resurrection now. I don't think anyone can stop me!" Balaam bragged.

"So how does Ron know all this?" Hilde asked.

Ron puts on his wig and his mask and smiled waving at everyone, "Charon?!?" Hilde and Kirell jumped.

"The way things went down. It's kind of pointless for me to hide." Charon sighed.

"Yeah. Sorry. But you're a shady bitch." Balaam tells him.

"Your rightfully so to be suspicious of me!" Charon smiled.

"So what's the deal with this place. Fess up! Why did Kirell's compass change direction!" Balaam ordered.

"To be honest it surprised even me. But it seemed the focus of Kirell's task shifted slightly from what I need to do be resurrected. To what I need to connect to these people." Charon explains.

"The puppets. The teddy. The room. It's my connection to Kirell. But not just mine. Hilde felt it was familiar too. So Hilde must be connected to us before our deaths!" Balaam pointed out.

"Heh Balaam catches on so fast. And he says it's just a gut feeling. You know that it's more trained than that." Charon sighed.

"Hmmm... trained..." Balaam looked at the teddy trying to remember but drew a blank.

"Anyways. I'll still be tagging along as Ron. So please keep my identity a secrete. I can only help guide you so much so don't ask. And maybe I'll die for you if I see it fit." Charon removed his wig and mask.

"Fair enough. I doubt you'd be an easy kill normally." Balaam sighed.

"Hey at least we don't have to worry about the undead now!" Hilde chimmed.

"Actually that's not true. For now they will ignore me thinking I'm one of them cause of my aura of death. But as the days come closer to ending they'll recognize it's me. And a lot of them are still very prissy about becoming undead and blame me." Charon tells her.

"So use you as a distraction got it!" Balaam nodded and Kirell punches his arm.

"No! Bad me!" Kirell hissed.

Balaam flinched and Hilde looked uncomfortable, "This is going to be hard to get used to." Hilde sighed.

Balaam looked like he wanted to say something, but he honestly had no comeback for that and just turned red.

"Fine. Fine we won't sacrifice him!" Balaam blurted as Kirell scowled him.

"Yeah you better listen to me. Me!" Kirell tells him.

"You know I can still kill you right? He never said which one of us is the original." Balaam smiled.

Kirell blinked as she thinks about this, "Err... but that doesn't mean it's you! It could be me!" Kirell tells him.

"Hmm I don't know. I think it's me." Balaam teased.

"Shit." Kirell sighed, "I don't what I'd do if I wasn't the original... But you seemed to have more of a crisis about resurrection than me! So it's you. Your the inner me!" Kirell tells him.

"Demon you?" Balaam sighed, "Lame Kirell. I'm no demon." He sighed.

"No stop reading my mind!!!" Kirell cried.

"I'm you. The parts you hate about yourself." Balaam tells her.

"So I'm the original!" Kirell declared.

"Yeah. Yeah. You're the original. But you better knock it off with the idea that gives you the right to boss me around!" Balaam hissed.

"You're our of control! How do you expect me not to!?!" Kirell protested.

"Maybe I should ditch you than." Balaam groaned.

Kirell sighed, "Come on. At least try to work with me here. And I'll try and work with you." She groaned.

"You're asking for my help?" Balaam was suprized.

"Well. You're me. You might be all I hate. But I know we're no back stabbers." Kirell smiles and gently takes his hand, "Uh. Let's work together like we used to I guess. Uh partner?" Kirell looked shy.

"Haha whatever you say partder." Balaam hugged Kirell making her turn even redder.

"Ah no!!! Let me go! This is weird!!!" Kirell cried.

"Just think of it as you hugging yourself!!!" Balaam laughed.

"It's impossible to think that! It's more like being hugged by some crazy guy!" Kirell cried.

"So mean." Balaam let's her go, "You know what I've done for us? What I had to suffer because of you?" Balaam asked.

"Uh... I'm sorry I don't know. But Im sure it was a lot." Kirell apologized.

Hilde decided to poke both Balaam and Kirell, "Hey did you poke me?!?" Balaam asked.

"It's still weird. You both the same person but you're in two physically different bodies. I was starting to think Balaam was a ghost." Hilde replied.

"I'm not a ghost!" Balaam scowled.

"Balaam I've decided your name is now Mr. Spookoms." Kirell teased.

"You can't just rename me!" Balaam hissed.

"Actually... why is it that Balaam has a different name than Kirell?" Hilde asked Charon.

"It be to obvious if they are both named Kirell." Charon replied.

"So did you give him his name?" Hilde realized.

"Heh. I guess so." Ron smiled.

"Ugh." Balaam looked frustrated with everything and Ron laughed.

"They seem to feel more comfortable in your presence. I think if you open up to them both. You'll all be great friends." Ron tells him.

"There's so many issues with this. I'm tired." Balaam sighed.

Ron nodded as everyone decided to head to bed for that day.

Day 2

Kirell woke up rather calmly despite getting shot in her dream and Hilde sees Balaam wake up freaking out.

"Holy shit!" He gasped.

"Let me guess someone shot you?" Kirell asked.

"Yeah." Balaam sighed.

"Did you happen to see who it was?" Kirell asked.

"No. I just felt a lot of emotional pain and anger afterwards." Balaam sighed.

"I felt really sad and surprised." Kirell tells him.

"I probably pick up all the more negative and repressed stuff. And you just get the normal shit." Balaam awnsered.

Kirell sees Hilde crying, "Hilde are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah my dream was scary. I remember being really badly injured and having to escape. I didn't want to die. I had something I wanted to do." Hilde cried.

"Sounds like a car crash." Balaam pointed out.

"Maybe that's you're reason for living. Or clue to your task." Kirell tells Hilde who nodded.

"So what about us? I'm guessing you don't really care about revenge even if I want it." Balaam sighed.

"I think I honestly want to know why I was shot in the first place. Did I deserve it? Who did it? What was I doing that day." Kirell explains.

"Okay. I respect it. Maybe if I help you find who it is we can talk to them. If they even remember why that is." Balaam sighed.

"Thanks." Kirell smiles.

"Anyways. We best start looking for others. It'll help when it comes time to do our tasks." Balaam replied.

"I don't want to even think about that." Kirell sighed.

"Hey maybe we'll find this really bad guy. Though I don't think you'll find anyone worse than me." Balaam pointed out.

Kirell looked at Balaam sadly, "Hey come on we're not that bad." Kirell tells him.

"Heh. It's good to hear you say that." Balaam smiled.

"So what should we do if we do find others. I mean your tasks are well..." Hilde winced.

"Kirell isn't the only one who wants information. I just want to make sure I'm shooting the right person. I really thought it was Philip too. But we can see how bad I fucked that up." Balaam replied.

"So you actually don't want to kill anyone other than the one you're suppose to?" Hilde asked.

"Yeah obviously. I mean I can if needed and with Kirell's task I just might need too. My goal is to protect her when I get out of here. So I gotta make sure she gets resurrected no matter what. She might hate me but we're partners in crime." Balaam smiled, "Partders!" He beamed.

"Please don't call me that." Kirell sighed but felt oddly relieved having someone looking out for her.

"I'm not sure if I should be worried or not." Hilde sighed.

"How about this. Maybe like day five you need to start worrying about it." Balaam tells her.

"Okay that's fair enough." Hilde nodded.

"Until than let's find everyone and figure this dumb mystery out!" Balaam declared.

"Right!" Kirell nodded.

They begin to exit the room but Balaam freezes going pale as he finally recognizes this place.

"This is the place we died. Er no that seems off... Shot. Yes this is the place we were shot. They came to my room... I remember talking and I had my gun..." Balaam slowly takes his gun out, "In my front pocket. I never let it leave my side. I heard the cocking of gun and instinctively drew it thinking maybe someone had came through the door behind the person I was talking too but... no the person I had been talking to was pointing the gun at me. And I just couldn't believe it." Balaam shakes his head.

"Than they shot us... and we shot them." Kirell realized.

"Yeah... yeah... everything else is too fuzzy but that's it. Basterd shot me in my own room." Balaam hissed.

"It sounds like you were betrayed by someone you trusted." Hilde realized.

"Ugh I don't like this Kirell! I don't want it to happen again! We're going to get betrayed because if they remember us before them!?! What the hell is going to stop them from finishing the job!" Balaam looked frustrated.

"We don't know that Balaam. I need to know why! Please." Kirell begged.

"I know. I want to know too. But Im scared..." Balaam thinks about it, "Kirell whatever you do. Don't tell them anything about our life. I want them to shoot me instead of you. Swear it Kirell! Let me be the escape goat. Because if you don't make it I don't have any other reason to keep living." Balaam begged.

"Balaam..." Kirell looked at him in fear and hugged him.

"I'm not going to do that! You're coming back with me." Kirell let's him go and blushed, "Because. I believe in us." Kirell tells him, "That maybe I'm just to hard on myself and even my worst self isn't as bad as I like to think." Kirell tells him shyly.

"Heh. Thanks Kirell. I knew it. Choosing you to be my new goal to protect when I got back was perfect. We're going to get through this partder!" Balaam swore smiling.

"Right." Kirell nodded.

"Do you think it's me?" Hilde asked.

"I doubt you know how to use a gun. The person who shot me was no noob. They were skilled." Balaam pointed out.

"Hey we can test that. Let Hilde hold your gun!" Kirell tells him.

"Alright not like she can fire it on us anyways." Balaam shrugged and hands it over.

"Because you're guns condition right?" Kirell asked and Balaam nodded as he watched a Hilde mess with the gun only for it to appear in his hands.

"Oh wow! Was that you're doing Balaam?" Hilde asked.

"Nah. It's more likely that it has to do with my task. Since I need to use it to complete it no one else can use it against. Well. Except Kirell maybe." Balaam explains as Hilde keeps taking the gun and playing with it.

"Look I can hold it for like six seconds than poof. But if I throw it in the air like this it still returns to Balaam's hand!" Hilde chimed.

"You're having way too much fun with that gun. I know it can't shoot any of us but if this was a real gun. You'd shot yourself or us in the face by now." Balaam awnsered.

"Oops sorry!" Hilde blushed.

"I'm surprised how chill you were about her doing that." Kirell responses.

"It's like watching a kid play around with daddy's hand gun not knowing how dangerous it is." Balaam admitted and paused, "Huh. Pfff. Funny I just remembered doing that myself." Balaam realized.

"I bet our dad must of shit our pants when that happened." Kirell smiled.

"Hmmm. I got a feeling that's not the case." Balaam sighed.

"So... Uh now that you've seen me handle the gun. Do you think it's still me?" Hilde asked.

"Nope I'm 200% sure it's not you." Balaam tells her.

"Why 200%?" Hilde asked.

"Because I counted Kirell's suspicion into that percentage." Balaam smiled.

"Oh because we're both 100% sure it's not her." Kirell shakes her head.

"See I knew you'd get that." Balaam smiled.

"Please stop that. It's creepy." Kirell sighed.

"Well I'm glad it's not me!" Hilde smiled and looked around the room, "So if this place is familiar to me and were connected to each other. Do you think that maybe we knew each other. And maybe you both trusted me enough to come over to visit you both." Hilde explains.

"It's possible. Sounds like maybe you. Kirell and me were buddies and pretty tight if we let you come to this place. I got a feeling this place is something hush hush. Not to be discovered." Balaam tells her.

"Yeah. Now that you meantion it. I get that feeling too." Kirell was shocked.

"Sounds like you all might solve this mystery much faster staying together." Ron smiled.

"The only thing I worried about is when I come face to face with my nemesis. I guess the good thing is he doesn't remember me. But if I'm not careful he will." Balaam frowned.

Hilde and Kirell look worried too, "Well... I'm sure we can figure it out when we find everyone." Hilde winced.

"So... I guess we go forward. It's the only choice. Just promise me Hilde one thing." Balaam begged.

"What's that?!?" Hilde asked.

"If you really are our friend. Protect Kirell for me if I can't. No matter what she has to get back." Balaam tells them.

"Balaam..." Kirell looked worried.

"I figure even if I die here. I'll still be part of you out there. We might never see each other again. But like always. Partder. I got your back." Balaam smiles.

"No don't say things like that!!! You and Kirell are going back together!" Hilde cried.

"You better not die on me!" Kirell protested.

"Haha look at you two trying to protect me even though I'm the bad guy here." Balaam held back tears, "Fuck I can't handle the emotion here. Just forget what I said kay?" He sheepishly blushed.

"You're coming back with me!" Kirell grabbed Balaam's hand.

"Yeah let's do it the three of us until the end. Let's cheat death!" Hilde takes his other hand smiling.

"Dam it. You're both going to make me cry." Balaam was so red.

They hugged him and he hugged them back crying a bit, "Dam you both. You made me cry." He was embarrassed.

Kirell sighed smiling, "I decided that you're not a bad guy. You're trying so hard to protect me and you don't even have too. I'm sure you must hate me for a lot of things Ive done to you and yet... You really care about me huh?" Kirell blushed.

"Well... In a weird way I'm just looking out for myself. But technically. I guess. If had to choose. I want Kirell to go back. Because you're the original. Without you there's no me. And so it doesn't matter if I hate you or not. I'm always going to do what I have to. To make sure we get through all the pain and hardship and overcome life itself." Balaam smiled.

"How can I hate you if you're dead set on doing that!?!" Kirell asked.

"Because I'll do whatever and I mean whatever to achieve my goals." Balaam sighed.

Kirell holds his hands, "That doesn't have to be a bad thing." Everyone jumps as they hearing banging on windows and doors.

"It's the undead. We've stayed for far too long. We might be trapped here." Ron tells them.

"Can they come inside buildings!?!" Hilde asked.

"Yeah except the church." Ron tells them.

"Everyone back into the room!" Balaam ordered and take control of the situation, "Help me move the bed toward the door an the bookshelf in front of the window!" He shouted.

Everyone joined until the job was done. The undead break the window and try to push the book stand as Balaam fires at them.

"I'm scared!" Hilde clung to Kirell.

"There's no way out!" Kirell panicked.

"Than we need to force an exit!" Balaam shouted, "Open the door Imma try making us a path." He shouted.

Kirell opens the door as Balaam jumps on the bed and takes fire. Gunshots can be heard as footsteps run toward them.

"Hey Balaam was it me or is there more gun shots!?!" Kirell asked.

"Fuck there's too many at the door!" Balaam jumped off the bed throws a pillow at a zombie shooting at it.

Hilde didn't realize she was screaming and crying, "Kirell! Ron dont stand there throw shit at them!" Balaam shouted as the undead start crawling over the bed.

"Balaam I seriously hear other gunshots!" Kirell shouted as Ron began throwing things at the undead making them turn into ash.

"Not now Kirell! Focus!" Balaam fires at a few undead that get into the room, "BEHIND ME NOW!" He shouted.

"The bookshelf! It's fallen over!" Ron shouted.

The undead were crawling into the window, "Fucking hell!!" Balaam turned around to fire at the window.

"Balaam behind you!" Kirell lunges at a zombie that tried to bite Balaam.

"Kirell!" Balaam turned around and sees Argo shoot the zombie next to Kirell along with a few others.

Balaam froze in fear, "Balaam the window!" Ron shouted.

"Right!" Balaam shoots at the window as Argo comes into the room helping Kirell to her feet.

"Excuse me." Argo helps Balaam kill the undead as they start to stop moving.

"Hey wait! Wait I said!" Philio cried running onto the room, "Geez mister. You shouldn't run off like that." Philio sighed.

"Sorry. I wanted to investigate why there was some many undead crowding the place and than I heard the screaming. Are you alright miss?" Argo asked Hilde.

"Huh I didn't even realize I was screaming." She blinked.

"It's a pretty normal reaction considering that there's like what two unarmed women and priest who only has a book to fight with being attacked by a horde of zombies. And all I got is a tiny little hand gun to take them all down with." Balaam shrugged.

"He's got a shotgun." Kirell tells Balaam.

"Yeah and I'm greatful truly happy. Because now maybe we can have some serious fire power on our team to not get eaten now by zombies." Balaam awnsered and Kirell scowled at him and he gave her a very serious deadly look.

"Is it over?!?" Hilde asked.

"Yeah. The undead won't come near this guy. Still not sure why. Apparently he still doesn't believe me when I say they attack. Maybe this proves it?" Argo asked Philio.

"Hmmm... well I guess it's a bit odd that this place was crowded with undead and we happened to find a bunch of people here. So maybe they do. Strange. I wonder why they seem so peaceful around me." Philio frowned.

"Maybe you were like something the undead fear in you're life. Like a priest?" Kirell asked.

"I do remember being in a church and seeing a lot of people die." Philio realized.

"Ron apparently can make them turn into ash. He's a priest too, but they don't like him." Balaam replied.

"I was an excorist in my life time. That might be why." Ron replied.

"Anyways thanks so much for getting us out of that tough spot." Balaam smiled innocently.

"Of course." Argo nodded.

There is an awkward silience in the room, "So... let's go somewhere where these things won't bother us. You think it's a church right Ron?" Balaam asked.

"Yup. I was there and they didn't come in. They usual follow me everywhere else though." Philio pointed out.

"Cool." Balaam nodded and let's Philio lead the way, "So what you think about joining our team? We could really use the fire power to take care of the zombies. Than again I guess with you're friend we wouldn't need the extra gun power. But hey. Who knows who's in this game or what their tasks might be. I think we should stick together and protect each other from any big bads that might be lurking around in this town. I know I'd feel just so safe with an extra helper watching my back." Balaam beamed as hell lied out of his ass.

"You didn't seem too worried though. I got a feeling you've been in a lot worse situations than the one I saved you from." Argo pointed out.

"Yeah but that was just me by myself. It's a totally different level when you gots to protect others. I know I'm good, but I can't watch them and shoot the zombies all the time at the same time." Balaam replied.

"I doubt they are completely defensiveness though." Argo pointed out.

"Yeah but just whacking the zombies with a stick or throwing rocks ain't going to stop them unless you're a priest like Ron. Anything he touches is a weapon." Balaam replied.

"Why not have Ron bless thier weapons than?" Argo asked.

"I don't think it works like that. But let's find out. Here Kirell take this rock. See this zombie? I want you to ask Ron to bless it and touch it and chunk it at them." Balaam handed Kirell a rock.

"Uh okay. Here Ron bless this please." Kirell asked.

Ron touched the rock, "May your rock help the zombie man find peace." He blesses it.

Kirell throws the rock at the zombie and it turns to ash and Hilde and Kirell look at Ron who shrugged.

"What the fuck that seriously worked are you shitting me!?!" Balaam looked at Ron.

"I don't know what to tell you." Ron just sheepishly shrugged.

"Well. Fuck. Guess we don't fucking need help." Balaam spazed and sighed, "Well. Now we know we can do that." Balaam face palmed.

"Err." Kirell isn't sure what Balaam is planning.

"So does this mean we're just going to split off from them?" Hilde asked.

"Well I don't see why they should stay." Balaam pointed out, "Appearently Ron can turn anything he touches into a weapon! I was only joking!" Balaam cried.

"Hehe sorry." Ron blushed.

"Do you really want he to be in our group though? He has a gun." Kirell pointed out.

Balaam just rubbed his face groaning, "I don't know. Honestly does it even matter at this point!?! I mean we can just take the other priest and never have to worry about the undead." Balaam pointed out.

"Philio is my partner. Where he goes. I go." Argo pointed out.

"Ohhh ohhh! Does that mean if I join you guys than everyone will be together!?! I could help everyone!" Philio bounced.

"Come on now. We can't be sure that we are the only ones. I mean I know there's less than ten but there could be like maybe two or three still running around right?" Balaam asked.

"Uh! Ron!?! Does you're riddle thingy actually work? Like if everyone's truly here you'll get a riddle at the end of the day?" Kirell asked.

"I have to write about everyone. Something I observed. I have the whole day to find everyone and write about them to get my riddle. I can check if you want." Ron looked at his book.

"Yup. I have riddle." Ron nodded, "Everyone is here." He responded.

"No way let me see that!" Balaam quickly snatched it and reads it quietly.

"What's it say!?!" Hilde protested.

"I want to hear it too!" Kirell begged.

"I'll read it out loud!" Balaam sighed, "Words unspoken create fear. No one knows what to do since there is no clear bad guy here," Balaam sees a part about Kirell and skips it, "Four days will give us the awnsers needed." Balaam tells them.

"May I see it?" Argo asked and Balaam went pale, "Something the matter?" He asked.

"There's something else. But I don't think it's you're business. I'll say this. From the sounds of it. It's a hint or something about one of these girls tasks. And well. As much I'm happy to have you on the team. I've got an obligation to protect my mates." Balaam awnsered staring at Argo intensely.

"It would prove that all you've said is true. And not just some story you've conjured up together to make me drop my guard." Argo pointed out.

"Okay slow down than. Let's take this step by step. Introductions first. That should be easy. I'm Balaam. That's Kirell. That's Hilde and that's Ron." Balaam introduces everyone.

"I'm Argo and that's Philio." Argo pointed out.

"We should talk about our tasks next!" Philio explains.

"Hold on! Maybe I'd like to keep my task to myself. I didn't ask you for help. I say we give our reason why we want to be resurrected first. I think that'll help us gauge what kind of people we are. That's assuming we all know why we want to be resurrected." Balaam explains.

"Interesting okay. Let's hear it than." Argo nodded.

"I think there was something I really had to tell someone before I died." Hilde announced.

"I want to protect my partder." Balaam smiles and wrapped his arm around Kirell.

"It's not what you think though!?!" Kirell turned red shoving Balaam away.

"Yeah nothing weird like lovers stuff. She's just. How to put it..." Balaam thinks, "My entire universe!" Balaam smiled.

"Uh... I think that still qualifies as lovers stuff." Hilde pointed out.

"Uh... Than... my life partder!" Balaam pointed out.

"You're making it worse!" Kirell was so red.

"Non romantic soulmate is that a thing? Can we make that a thing? Fellow kindred soul!?! I don't know what I'm suppose to say here! My homie? My sister? My fam?" Balaam spazed.

Please stop!" Kirell cried.

"Does it really matter? She's important to me okay?" Balaam sighed.

"I'll go next. I don't have a reason. I'm trying to find mine still!" Ron smiled.

"Uh... well..." Kirell thinks, "I'm not sure yet. I think what I want is just awnsers to why I'm here and what happened to me." Kirell explains.

"Huh my reason for being resurrected... I think there's someone very special I wanted to watch over and see again." Philio smiled.

"I see. Huh... my reason... I guess would be... The chance to fix a mistake I feel I made and make things right again." Argo nodded.

"See. This helps. Look at us bonding." Balaam pointed out, "Okay. Let's take a vote. Equipment next or task?" Balaam asked.

"Either." Hilde smiled.

"Task." Kirell replied.

"Hmmm... either." Ron shrugged.

"I want to hear our tasks!" Philio chimmed.

"Hmm... I actually rather start with my equipment." Argo pointed out.

"Fuck it's a tie." Balaam sighed, "Okay fine. I'll say mine first." Balaam decided.

"No! Balaam I'll say mine first!" Kirell panicked.

"No you stay out of this!" Balaam hissed.

Kirell glared at him as he glared at him, "Why don't those who said either go first and tell both?" Hilde suggests.

"Okay. Okay. Fine." Balaam nodded.

"My task is to write a heartfelt letter and I'm suppose to give it to someone but I don't know how. My equipment is this bag of blank letters but I have nothing to use to write with. So I don't know how I'm suppose to write my letters." Hilde explains.

"My task is to help everyone with thier tasks. My equipment is the Requiem Necklace. It lets me hear the messages of those who succeed or failed thier tasks." Philio explains.

"Well that's hard to believe, but whatever." Balaam shrugged.

"My task is to observe everyone and write down the things I observe in my book. I have to observe everyone in the game each day to get a riddle that will help me guide me final task. Which have no idea what it is." Ron explains.

"And that sounds almost impossible to pull off." Argo sighed.

"And yet we're all here for him to observe." Balaam replied, "Funny how that works." He explains.

"Okay now I think. Those who want to share thier tasks can." Hilde replied looking at Kirell nodding.

"Okay. So. My task is to follow my compass where it points but as you can see it's spinning around none stop. It has a condition where it only stops when something happens. And that's all I'll say." Kirell decided.

"Something must happen for it to stop. Something you don't want to say. Must be something bad or something that would make others feel threatened by you. Like perhaps killing another person." Argo suggested.

"Don't you fucking jump to conclusions! She's not the one holding a fucking gun in her hand." Balaam hissed.

"And he gets defensive. Seems I'm on to something." Argo sighed.

"Let's just point out the obvious here. You and me we are the only one with guns. There's not a lot of fucking things guns are used for other than popping a cap in someone's ass." Balaam explains.

"You're trying to make yourself look like the bigger threat to protect her. It's obvious." Argo sighed.

"I AM THE BIGGER THREAT!" Balaam warned, "And DONT you dare forget it!" He warned, "I got a gun!" Balaam hissed pointing his gun at Argo who cocks his shotgun and points at Balaam.

"Eeek!!!" Hilde cried.

"Knock it off!" Kirell punched Balaam in the shoulder who winced, "Balaam stop! If you keep this up he really will shoot you! Balaam! BALAAM!" Kirell yelled and starts crying, "Stop it you dumb idiot! I'm not worth it!" Kirell cried.

Balaam lowered his gun, "Sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry." He sighed and hugged Kirell, "I mean it when I say. This girl is my universe. You'll have to kill me first before I let you hurt her." Balaam glared at Argo.

"You're willing to die for her sake?" Argo asked.

"Yes." Balaam replied trying to calm down Kirell.

"Balaam and Kirell are nice people! They didn't chose thier tasks! Please understand." Hilde begged.

Argo takes a deep breath lowering his weapon hating see Kirell cry as it makes him feel guilty.

"You're going to get your stupid self killed!" Kirell sniffed unable to hold back tears.

"Geez! I really done did it! I've triggered a waterfall!" Balaam flinched in surprise.

"I don't want you to die... You're my partder." Kirell cried.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Balaam hugged her and rocked her in his arms.

"My gun. It can't fire unless someone else wants me to fire it." Argo sighed.

"Ohh so if we don't want to shoot each other, it won't?" Hilde asked.

"Pretty much." Argo sighed.

"My gun will only work if the person I'm pointing at wants to kill me too." Balaam admitted.

"I see. So if I don't want to kill you, you can't shoot me." Argo felt better.

"Yeah self defense gun that's what I'm calling it." Balaam snickered.

"No it's the selfish gun." Ron cried

"How is it selfish???" Balaam asked confused.

"It's only looking after number one." Ron tells him.

"Huh. Yeah I see what you mean." Balaam nodded.

"So no one is going to shot anyone?" Kirell asked hopefully.

"Well. Let's go around. Hilde. Kirell. Ron. And Philio anyone want to have Argo shoot me?" Balaam asked.

"No of course not!" Hilde refused.

"Are you stupid?!? Don't joke about that! I refuse! I won't let it happen!" Kirell cried.

"Just to fuck with you I almost want to give him permission but I'll say no." Ron smiled.

"Ron you're an asshole!" Balaam shouted.

"Oh I guess it comes down to me huh?" Philio thinks about this unsure, "I'll say for now no." He decided.

"Well that awnser doesn't make me feel that safe but whatever I'll take it." Balaam sighed.

"I definitely feel a lot better about this group knowing that the one with a gun can't shoot me so long as I don't want to kill him. Perhaps we can make this work." Argo nodded, "But I still don't know Balaam's task or the condition to Kirell's compass." Argo sighed.

"Tell ya what. We'll tell you when you tell us you're task." Balaam smiled, "How's that?" He asked.

"I refuse. Are you guys scared of me?" He asked.

"Yes." Balaam looked at him like he was stupid, "You can play innocent all you want. We both know it's bullshit. In fact." Balaam let's go of Kirell, "I bet you a hundred bucks we have the same task in a sense. Why else do we need a gun? It's not to protect these girls or anyone or even ourselves. No guns are for shooting. You and me have to shoot someone specific to us. Someone from our life probably. I told you. I'm the bigger threat here." Balaam tells Argo.

"Balaam what the fuck are you trying to die!?!" Kirell asked in tears.

"I don't want to dance around the bush with this asshole it ain't going to get me nowhere. Besides I don't need him shooting you. So there Argo. That's my task. It's to shoot someone specific. I don't know who it is. I'm just following my gut." Balaam tells Argo, "So lets hear it now. No point in hiding. What is you're task? I can't kill you until you try. And I'm kinda hoping you do try. Because Im thinking out of all the people here it has to be you." Balaam tells him.

Argo thinks about this as he stared at Balaam trying to read him, "And what if our tasks are the same and I'm thinking it's you are we just going to shoot each other here and now?" Argo asked.

"And leave the ladies defenseless hell no. I can wait. I'm a patent person." Balaam tells him, "I'll give you until like maybe day five at least." He tells him, "Than shits gotta get going." Balaam tells him.

"If you're going to shoot Balaam! Shoot me too! My compass only works if someone dies!" Kirell blurted.

"What the fuck Kirell!?! You don't need to endanger yourself!" Balaam hissed and Kirell hugged him crying.

"I. I want to protect you. For all the shit you had to go through cause of me." Kirell cried.

"Dam it you can't just steal my fucking goals too!" Balaam turned red.

"You me and Hilde. We're all in this together." Kirell tells him.

"Fine." Balaam hands Ron's book to Argo, "Read the riddle. The one about sacrifice. I think I know what it's talking about." Balaam ordered.

Argo surprised takes the book and reads it, "A sacrifice is required for her to find her path but if we are not careful whoever dies might not come back." Argo says out loud.

"That last part. If we aren't careful they won't come back. That's what got me to thinking. Come back? Where are they going? If we die we just die right? Unless we are resurrected. I think it's a warning. That Kirell panicks she'll end up making us fail our task but that also implies that it's possible that her task can be completed by having those who finished thier tasks die and they'll be okay because they finished thier tasks so they are going to get revived no matter what she does." Balaam replied.

"Wait you mean!?! As long as we help finish everyone's task. We can just kill them and not worry about messing up thier resurrection?!? I can complete my task without anyone having to be left behind!?!" Kirell looked so hopeful.

"I think so. But there's one problem with that." Balaam sighed, "My task and probably Argo's task. We have to kill someone specific. We could try killing everyone who finished thier tasks. But what if it's just the two of us left. How do we both finish our tasks than?" Balaam asked.

"Double suciade. You shoot each other at the same time." Ron smiled making Balaam blink.

"Oh so that's it huh? Wow it's so simple yet any normal people might fuck it up." Balaam snickered.

"And if it's double ko. You and Argo could both be revived!" Kirell cried happily.

"There's a happy solution to all this!?! I can't believe it! We can all be resurrected!" Hilde cheered.

"Hmmm... I see." Argo handed Ron his book, "I will tell you my task than." He finally decided.

"Wow he's actually going to do it!" Balaam was shocked.

"I have to kill someone very dear to me. But I don't know who that is." Argo explains.

"But wait Balaam. You and Kirell..." Hilde started and Balaam covered her mouth.

"Yeah shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Balaam ordered.

Argo looked at Balaam confused, "She loves teasing me about my partder. I really think she needs to keep her mouth shut before she pisses me off." Balaam warned letting Hilde go.

"Anyways let's head to that church now." Balaam explains and they finally arrived at the church and sit down.

"So we just sit here?" Kirell asked Balaam confused.

"We need to all really think hard on how to fullfil our tasks and try to remember everything we possibly can. If we have to we'll head out into town each day and try seeing if any places look familiar to help spark our memories." Balaam suggested.

"That's not a bad idea. The more knowledge we have about our situation can increase our chances of understanding our task." Argo nodded.

"For now lets get some sleep." Balaam replied and everyone heads to bed.

Day 3

"Mom?!? Mom where are you!?!" Kirell called out in tears.

Everyone seemed to wake up at the same time and Balaam hugged Kirell who turned red.

"It's okay. It's going to be okay." Balaam seemed to act even nicer than before.

"I had a dream about mom," Kirell cried, "I think I know why I want to be resurrected. I have something I want to tell her." Kirell clung to Balaam's chest realizing he actually smells very nice and he's very warm.

"And you will. Don't you worry. You're going to make it back." Balaam squeezed her hand softly as Kirell turned blood red.

"Oh my god oh my god no! Balaam is not handsome! He does not smell nice!" Kirell thinks blushing red.

"You look kinda scared and very red. Are you okay?" Balaam asked.

Kirell wanted to die of embarrassment, "No! I'm fine!" Kirell shoved him away and escaped his embrace.

"Heh. So cute." Ron smiled, "So what did everyone else dream of?!?" Ron asked.

"I dreamt of hanging out with a good friend!" Hilde chimmed, "We'd talk for hours and she always knew what to say." Hilde chimed.

"She must of been a good listener." Kirell smiled.

"Yeah I think so too!" Hilde thinks about it, "Hey do you think it might be you? I mean Balaam said that those puppet and teddy we found in that place they might be connected to something in you're old life." Hilde asked.

"Don't you still have the puppet Hilde and Kirell?" Balaam yawned.

"Oh yeah I put him in my bag!" Hilde takes out the big headed ghost puppet.

"I put mine in my pocket and I gave the teddy to Balaam." Kirell showed off her cute ghost puppet.

"Yeah you better take care of Mr. Spookoms. Teddy will be sad if he loses his best buddy won't you teddy?" Balaam takes out the teddy he stuffed in his pocket, "You need a bath." Balaam sighed but smiled.

Argo looked at Balaam staring at him for a moment as if trying to remember something, "What about you Philio?" Kirell asked.

"Let's see my first dream was about the church. This dream was about me working at a hostipal." Philio explains.

"And you Argo?!?" Hilde asked.

"It wasn't that really interesting. Probably as interesting as Philio's dream." Argo sighed.

"Hey we're here to help each other remember everything! All details matter!" Balaam protested.

"I want to know!" Kirell begged.

"Very well. It was about me training a mentee of mine." Argo sighed.

"Was it happy or sad?" Hilde asked.

"What did you train them to do?" Balaam asked.

"I just remember that there was this accident that happened. And I think it's cause of the training." Argo pointed out.

"Please. You're far too focused on details for that to be the case." Balaam pointed out.

"What do you mean?" Argo asked.

"I think Balaam means is... You like to get to the bottom of things. You like to have all the facts." Kirell looked at Balaam.

"Yup totally." Balaam smiled.

"I see. Well... It was actually a happy dream. It's the fear of my task... that haunts me." Argo tells me.

"So this mentee was the someone dear to you. What kind of relationship was it really than? Like a secrete lover!?! Or???" Balaam tried to think.

"I think it was more like a parent and a child relationship." Argo explains.

Balaam froze and looked at his teddy and anger filled him that he threw the teddy against the wall breathing hard.

"Balaam!?!" Kirell jumped along with Hilde.

"Sorry. I just remembered my stupid ass drunk dad." Balaam winced, "I think I need some air." He headed outside.

Kirell picked up the teddy and dusted it off, "Liar. Maybe it's because the person who betrayed him that gave him the teddy?" Kirell spoke to herself.

She turned around holding the teddy, "I'm going to check on Balaam!" She tells everyone.

Argo has to do a double take when he sees Kirell holding the teddy. Kirell rushes outside to check on Balaam.

"Balaam!" Kirell called out to him as Argo decided to sneak up on them both.

Balaam was holding back tears that were escaping his face, "Fuck fuck fuck fuck! I knew this was going to happen I fucking knew it!" He sees Kirell holding the teddy, "Get that piece of shit out of my face." Balaam sighed.

"Don't be mad at Teddy it's not his fault." Kirell cutely made the teddy dance and Balaam relaxed taking it and hugging it, "Did whoever give you teddy? Were they the ones who betrayed us?" Kirell asked.

"Yeah. I told you. I'm the fucking bad guy here. And I guess I really do have to kill a good person now. I just have to remember my anger." Balaam decided.

Balaam heard something and immediately turns to see Argo who was trying to sneak away, "Why don't you come and say hi! Argo." Balaam hissed.

"Ah! He was spying on us!" Kirell panicked.

"I was just checking up on Balaam as well. I didn't mean to ease drop." Argo tried to explain.

"Whatever. You look confused. What is it you want to ask about?" Balaam sighed.

Argo thinks about asking about the teddy, but he's also curious why Kirell said betrayed us.

"I don't mean to be nosy. But I overheard that you and Balaam were betrayed by the same person is that correct?" Argo asked.

Balaam hands Kirell the teddy and gets in Argo's face, "Balaam what are you doing!?!" Kirell cried sighing.

Balaam stares intensely in Argo's eyes with a cold killer look that makes Argo try to size Balaam up instinctively.

"I'm going to let you on a secret about me and Kirell. Only because I'm thinking it might just save her life. Kirell and me are the same person." Balaam tells Argo bluntly.

"He's not going to believe that!" Kirell tells Balaam.

"Kirell's right. That's got to be the craziest lie I've heard." Argo explains.

"If Im right about you. You killed Kirell. You gave her the teddy. You trained us to kill. I don't remember it all. But you killed us in that room you saved us from. No. We didn't die there but that's where you shot us. In that school house. Abandoned and not normal. Meant to be kept secrets. Secrete because it's not for normal people. It's for those who get taken in when they have nowhere else to go. To be used as a tool of fighting. You are my mentor. And you betrayed us." Balaam tells Argo calmly.

Argo looked at Kirell who looked at Balaam in shock as she seemed not to of made the connection yet. Yet, everything Balaam said rang true.

"I see. Everything you say. It checks out. As soon as I saw Kirell holding the teddy. I saw a flash of the child who had been my mentor. Yet looking at Kirell she seems shocked and baffled. You have my talent of getting the bottom of things. If making connections with just the smallest observations. It might be impossible. But I'm starting to believe you maybe Kirell's other half." Argo nodded.

Kirell looked very concerned and worried, "So... Does that mean Argo can kill either me or Balaam?" Kirell asked.

Balaam shoves Kirell behind him, "I'm not going to give him the choice to kill you." Balaam explains.

"Balaam no! Please! If he kills you and you don't kill him at the same time you won't get resurrected!" Kirell begged.

"Kirell wants to know why! You have until day five. After that. Well... I think we should have a duel." Balaam ordered.

"You can just shoot each other! You both can get resurrected!" Kirell cried.

"It's personal Kirell. Day five Argo. I want to hear you're awnser and you will hear mine and than we shoot." Balaam tells him as Kirell cried clinging to Balaam.

"Throw you're stupid boy ego away! Or you're pride whatever please! I don't care! I don't want anyone to fail thier task!" Kirell begged.

"I need to do this Kirell. I won't be able to face him when he get back to the real world." He tells her.

"Please no! I won't forgive him if he kills you leaving you here! I won't!" Kirell refuses.

"I accept you're demands Balaam." Argo tells him.

"No no no no!" Kirell hugged Balaam crying.

"Kirell." Balaam sighed and pulled her into a hug, "It's going to be okay. I promise." Balaam swore and Kirell cried into his chest.

"Promise I'll see you again. Promise you'll always have my back no matter what. Promise me..." Kirell was in tears.

"I promise." Balaam felt so calm as he held his emotionally distraught self.

"Let's get along until than." Argo sighed.

"Yup that's the plan." Balaam nodded.

They head back inside, "I feel those two are ready to complete thier tasks." Philio was excited.

"What does that even mean?!? Kirell are you okay?" Hilde asked.

"Argo is the one who betrayed and killed me and Balaam. Balaam agreed to duel him in the fifth day. I'm terrified. I'm going to lose Balaam or Argo will say something and I won't be able accept it if he dies instead of Balaam." Kirell cried.

"You worry to much. It's going to be fine. I know it." Balaam smiled.

"Jerk! Meany! Dumb ass! You better to be right I won't forgive you if you're wrong!" Kirell cried.

Balaam just beamed, "When have I ever been wrong?" He laughed and kisses Kirell's forehead who blushed, "Even if I do fuck up. I'll always be with you. As a part of you." Balaam touched Kirell's chest, "Living inside you're heart." Balaam tells her.

Kirell nodded crying, "Can I interrupt and be weird?" Ron popped up as Balaam moved away from Hilde and Kirell.

"What the hell you want!?!" Balaam sighed.

Ron showed Balaam a picture and smiled evilly and Balaam points his gun at Ron, "Just how badly do you wish to die right now?!?" Balaam hissed.

Argo sneaked s perk curiously why Balaam is so upset, "Burn the page!" Balaam demanded.

Argo went red and grabbed Ron's book trying to rip it apart himself, "Yeah good luck with that. Its not easy to destroy." Ron pointed out.

"The fuck!?! Wait you saw it too!?!" Balaam was so red.

Ron pulled something out of his sleeve and showed them both, "You two are great! I love how you both want so badly to destroy this image!" Ron smiled.

"How the!?? Screw your Ron. Argo truce! Let's get this mother fucking pervert! And beat him!" Balaam ordered.

"Hell no because after him. I'm coming for you!" Argo swore.

"I don't fucking want that!?!" Balaam cried.

"Oh and why are you so eager to destroy it?" Argo hissed glaring at Balaam who put his hands up.

Ron shows Philio, "See what I drew?" He smiled.

"Oh dear!" Philio turned red and looked away shyly, "You shouldn't draw such lewd things." Philio was very red.

"Oh you liked it! Imma show Kirell and Hilde now." Ron chimmed.

"That fucktard! He's showing everyone now!" Balaam ran after Ron trying to tackle him as Ron easily dodged.

Argo captures Balaam, "Sorry. But if he shows Kirell I think that's a good thing." Argo pointed out.

"Have you lost you're mind! No it's not!" Balaam cried.

"What on earth is everyone so wound up about!?!" Kirell demanded as Hilde was curious to.

"I drew a picture." Ron showed them smiling.

"It's a black dot." Kirell looked confused.

"No it's not it's a picture of Balaam touching you're chest." Hilde tells Kirell.

Kirell looked at again and sees the image reveal itself, "You're right. I see it now..." Kirell blinked.

Balaam had already submitted to bring pinned to the floor and was blushing like crazy.

"That's when he was telling me that cheesy like about living inside my heart." Kirell nodded, "You're very good at drawing.

"Ahaha I love how you're the innocent one everyone else thought it was perverted!" Ron smiled.

"Huh? Perverted?" Kirell blinked confused.

Balaam wanted to die, "Why!?!" Kirell asked.

"Because he's a guy and he touched your boob." Ron smiled, "That's what they thought." He beamed.

Kirell just looked confused, "So innocent!" Ron laughed.

Argo let go of Balaam, "Oh so that drawing was when Balaam said that line to Kirell. Seems I overreacted." Argo felt embarrassed.

"I still feel embarrassed for Kirell. Boys shouldn't touch girls like that unless they are dating." Hilde declared.

Balaam was in the floor wishing he was dead his heart beating out of his chest and he clutched it hating it.

"Guys I think you're being ridiculous." Kirell sighed.

"Ha. Ron got me. I was trying hard to think innocently. Guess Im not so innocent." Philio had learned something new about himself.

"And you're a doctor. You should be ashamed." Ron teased Philio.

"I am." Philio admitted.

Balaam sits up, "Very funny Ron. Geez. And I'm over here thinking you're a weird sicko." Balaam tried to shrug it all off as he gets up.

Ron draws something else whistling happily, "I just love this. Everyone together bonding and interacting with each other. So many different emotions and ways you all treat each other!" He felt so happy and carefree.

"Well you have fun with that. I'm going to patrol the area." Balaam runs off to shoot some zombies.

Kirell just looked at everyone shaking her head as Argo sits at a bench, "So. How much do you know about dating and stuff like that?" Argo asked.

"Not much to be honest. I have no memories of anything that might help either." Kirell explains.

"Huh... Really?!? So you don't know what it's like to have a boyfriend or girlfriend or no memory of it... Huh. So I'm guessing you don't know about the birds and bees either?" Hilde asked.

"The birds and bees?" Kirell asked.

"You know how babies are made?" Hilde asked.

"Nope. No idea. All I know is it takes a mom and dad right?" Kirell asked.

"She doesn't know!" Hilde turned red, "Argo you're the adult you should tell her!" Hilde demands.

"Why me!?! She doesn't need to know such a thing at this age." Argo panicked.

"She looks like a young adult maybe eight to twenty. I think she's beyond the age where her parents tell her about dating and well sex." Hilde explains.

"You got this I believe in you. Imma go see how I can help Balaam." Argo stealthed away.

"Sex!?!" Kirell asked.

"Oh dear. Okay. I'll tell you what I know than." Hilde began educating Kirell.

Balaam was shooting up the zombies when he felt someone sneak up on him and turned around firing only for if not to work.

"Mother fucking Christ almighty! If this was a real gun you'd be dead!" Balaam had turned all kinds of white.

"Seems like you weren't lying about the condition of your gun." Argo noted.

"What a fucking why to test it. Geez do you want to die!?!" Balaam hissed.

"Of course not. I was just curious. So you're in love with your female self?" Argo blurted making Balaam miss his shot.

"I am not!" Balaam yelped.

"You have all of signs. It's really obvious." Argo sighed.

"Fuck off!" Balaam was trying to calm down and shoot another zombie.

"But what if she doesn't love you back? What do you intend to do?" Argo asked.

"Ugh!!! IT DOESNT MATTER! I don't care! We are partners! I'll protect her until the end of time as always." Balaam kept missing.

"You're really bad at this. Let me show you how it's done." Argo fires a zombie.

"Oh I see trying to one up me!?! Let's go! Basterd! Imma kill more zombies than you!" He replied now hitting the zombies.

"Why are you even bothering to kill them?" Argo sighed.

"I doubt they want to be here forever like that. Would you?!? Plus it's good releases for my frustration!" Balaam was calming down.

"That's pretty messed up Balaam. But perhaps you're right. If I ended up like them I think I'd be eager to die too." Argo fires at another zombie.

Balaam relaxed as he focused more, "Pfff. Thanks... For helping clear my mind with talking to me. I was letting my emotions cloud my judgement." Balaam lowered his gun.

"So... you admit it." Argo smiled softly.

"Yeah. I more comfortable with the killing than Kirell is. I can just my emotions off easier and kill professionally if needed... but that's not what a Kirell wants. She's not a taker of lives like me. She's someone who deserves to get out of that dumb ass place for good. If I had too. I'd take her spot so she would never have to kill again." Balaam explains.

"What about you?!? Would you keep killing after you're reborn?" Argo asked.

"Charon said I have to choose another reason besides killing and revenge if I want a body of my own. So I choose to stand by Kirell's side and protect her. As her friend, lover, brother it doesn't matter. I won't let anyone hurt her again." Balaam swore.

"I see... I admire you're courage to be so open and honest. I can see how freeing it is and yet... I can't bring myself to do it." Argo sighed.

"Well... Just out you're back against a wall and instead of shooting you tell yourself now talk as if you're life depends on it. And remind yourself if you lie than you're good as dead. I find it easier to be honest when I think of it like that." Balaam laughed and Argo chuckled.

"I see. Well than just because I'm feeling bored and want to let go of my own frustration. Let's see how many zombies we can kill." Argo smiles.

"Ha! Now it's on! Ready set go! Shoot!" Balaam awnsered and they begin shooting.

Back inside...

"And there that's all I know." Hilde explains.

"I can see why everyone was jumping to a perverted conclusion now. But that's just not what it was." Kirell sighed.

Ron shows Philio some more pictures with a stone face, "Ha nice try. But it's not going to work." Philio beamed.

Ron nodded and turned the page smiling evilly, "I get the feeling you're trying show me this on purpose. I've found my inner peace and I will not allow my inner sins control me." Philio explains.

Ron flipped through his book and shows him another drawing making a face, "Nope try again." Philio beamed.

Charon hangs his head down sadly in defeat, "You're no fun." He goes over to Kirell sighing and shows her a picture.

Kirell ends up punching Charon in the face turning blood red, "Was that a picture of you? Balaam and Philio!?!" Hilde was so red.

"Stop drawing pervy pictures you basterd." Kirell tells him and Charon gives her a thumbs up as he sits in his bench and just writes.

"I wish I could mentally bleach my brain now." Kirell felt so pissed and embarrassed.

Balaam and Argo returned, "I totally killed more zombies than you!" Balaam hissed.

"You were off by a long shot." Argo sighed

"Yeah right! You just don't want to admit I'm better!" Balaam awnsered.

Kirell sees Balaam and instantly turns red and feels like hidding but tried to act normal.

"Feeling any better?" Hilde asked.

"Huh?!? Yeah." Balaam felt confused.

"Balaam and I had a shooting contest to kill the most zombies." Argo replied.

"I totally won!" Balaam replied.

"In you're dreams." Argo sighed.

"Heh. It's good to see you both getting along." Kirell felt relieved.

"You're still worried about that!?!" Balaam got really close to Kirell that her body instantly melted.

"Hey you okay?!? You're all red." He touched her face, "You don't have a fever do you?" Balaam asked concerned.

Kirell looked at Balaam speechless her whole body screaming for his touch, "This is lust. Fuck I might be in trouble." Kirell thinks.

Kirell grabbed Hilde's arm, "Balaam Hilde wants to talk to you!" Kirell shoves Hilde into Balaam and stumbled away nearly falling in her face.

"What the!?!" Balaam was really confused and than he had the tiny Hilde shoves into him and softly held her up, "Okay. Sup?" He asked.

Hilde's brain went blank as all she could think of was that drawing Ron made and was so red. Suprizingly up close he's not bad looking he's actually really cute. Hilde couldn't think of anything to say.

"Oh no not me! Kirell is the one who wanted to talk!" Hilde tells him trying to escape.

"Not so fast. Just what on earth happened while I was gone?" Balaam demanded.

"Kirell punched Ron!" Hilde jumped.

"Dam it Ron what did you do!?!" Balaam let's go of Hilde as she runs away to hide.

"No I don't wanna be punched again." Ron whimpered.

Balaam headed over and snatched the book flipping through it all. The anger in his eyes was enough to blow up three countries.

"And just which picture did you show Kirell!?!" Balaam snarled.

"Page three hundred and five." Ron turned red.

Balaam sees the picture and shoots a death glare at Philio who is just looking at everyone curiously. Balaam whacked Ron in the head with his own book giving it back to him and sees Argo following him.

"Stay doggo." Balaam tells Argo.

"Imma follow." Argo followed him.

"Bad dog!" Balaam hissed and sighed, "I need to talk this one out alone with Kirell." He explains and Argo nodded sitting down to wait for them.

Balaam finds Kirell hidding outside the church, "You shouldn't be out here alone it's to dangerous." Balaam sighed making Kirell jump.

"I Uh..." Kirell's mind is disoriented.

Balaam takes Kirell's hand and leads her over to a wall they can sit on together, "Kirell... I saw the picture you punched Ron over. He's such a perverted asshole." Balaam tells Kirell.

Kirell knew she had to be honest so she inhaled and blurted our her feelings, "I think I liked it and now my body is being stupid." Kirell blushed.

"Even now?" Balaam asked.

"I think I've started to cool down." She tells him.

"Good." Balaam sat with her trying to think as he takes her hand, "I don't want things to weird between us. I'm you. Sure I got my own body and all. But if you want it. Than I want it." Balaam shyly replied.

Kirell shyly crawls into Balaam's lap and he holds her as she hugged him. Balaam happily holds Kirell lovingly as she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Kirell very shyly looked at Balaam and gives a cute kiss which he returns. Kirell shyly pulled away as Balaam just smiled at her.

"Okay. So I think understand my feelings at least towards you." Kirell responded.

"And that is?" Balaam asked.

"I like you holding me and I don't mind the kisses. I'm happy with this." Kirell smiled and leaned into his chest.

"Haha. Same." Balaam felt so at peace right now.

"There you guys are! Oops am I interrupting something?" Philio asked as Kirell turned red.

Balaam slides off the wall with Kirell in his arms and sets her down, "Nah. I'm just comforting Kirell." He smoothly replied as Kirell let go of him.

"You guys were gone so long everyone's getting worried." Philio replied, "There's still a lot of undead. So please don't go to far from me." He tells them.

They nodded and head back inside. Ron is messing around with his book playing guess that drawing.

"Boat!" Hilde shouted.

"Yacht." Argo pointed out.

"Argo wins again." Ron laughed.

"Ugh!?! Of course! Of course!" Hilde felt like spazing.

Balaam starts clapping and dancing into the building, "Lately I been, I been losing sleep. Dreaming about the things that we could be. But baby I been, I I been praying' hard. Said no more counting dollars. We'll be counting stars!" He sung.

Hilde claps with him and dances with Balaam laughing as Balaam just continues to sing the song Counting Stars by OneRepublic.

Kirell laughed and claps watching them have fun as Argo joined in with clapping. Philio smiled watching them have fun.

Balaam was having a good time and Hilde was happy for the distraction. Argo just smiled feeling happy seeing everyone getting along and just be silly.

Argo teared up a bit, "You going to be okay?" Ron asked.

"Yeah. It's just. It be nice if we could all be like this when we get back." He smiled.

"It's possible. It'll be up to you and Balaam though." Ron nodded.

Hilde starts singing Closer by Chainsmokers and Balaam sings the make parts. Philio walked over to Kirell asking her hand to dance and she nodded smiling.

"This is how things should be." Argo nodded.

"Yes! It's fun!" Ron chirped.

Eventually everyone wears themselves out playing all sorts of silly games such as charades, guess that drawing using Ron's book, dancing with singing, kill the zombie or who can throw the rock further.

Hilde sits down trying to catch her breath and Balaam sits by her wore out. They see Kirell and Philio dancing.

"Aren't you jealous?" Hilde blurted and turned red.

Balaam shrugged, "It's kind of stupid to be jealous of myself. I've decided thanks to Argo. All I want is for us to both be happy. We don't have to be lovers to do that." Balaam flicked Hilde's nose and she made a face as he laughed.

"So. What are you going to do? I mean..." Hilde tried to explain.

"Well. There's always you. You'll keep me company right so I don't end all alone right?" Balaam beamed and Hilde was so red.

"I Uh! Er..." Hilde looked flustered.

"Heh yeah you're fun to tease to! I'm into it. It might not work out. But I'm willing to give it a shot. What do you say?" Balaam asked offering his hand.

"Hehehe. Sure why not. You actually seem really fun to be with." Hilde takes his hand and Balaam leads the way to the dance floor and dances with her they both laugh and just enjoy the moment.

Ron is wiggling and bumped into Argo trying to get him to dance too. Argo chuckled and dances a bit.

"This is heaven!" Philio was so happy he felt like he could explode.

Balaam sings more songs his voice is very nice on the ears and everyone enjoys the rest of the night until it's time for them to fall asleep and wake up once more.

Day 4

Kirell wakes up from her dream as contract killer, "So Balaam and I are contract killers." She blurted.

"Don't worry about that. I'll be helping you leave that old life behind. Even if I end up having to take our bosses down or having to stay so you can get away. Whatever it is. You won't have to kill ever again and that's a promise." Balaam replied.

Kirell hugged Balaam, "Thank you." She cried.

"God dam it. I blurted out without thinking and now you're crying." Balaam wanted to hit himself.

"It's weird Kirell doesn't seem like the killer type... Balaam well..."Hilde looked away.

"Yeah yeah I know. I'm a thug. I didn't choose to look like this yeah know." Balaam sighed.

"You seem eager to be resurrected." Philio smiled.

"Things are going to change and I have never felt so inspired and motivated to push harder than ever to change everything! I'm ready to die right now to change my life!" Balaam awnsered.

"Balaam I think you need to calm down." Argo sighed.

"This is determination!!!!" Balaam was hyped.

"He's really phyched." Kirell winced.

"Anyways dream time!" Balaam demanded and points to Philio.

"Oh me?!? I dreamt I had a twin brother." Philio chimmed.

"Neat you're turn." He points to Hilde.

"I saw my parents." Hilde smiled.

"Neat and you?!?" Balaam asked Argo.

"Apparently I have two other brothers." Argo explains.

"So this is day four! Right!?! The important dream should of appeared today!" Balaam groaned.

"No. I think it meant the fourth day from the day we read the riddle that be tommarow." Ron explains.

"Man that's really pushing it. I say we look around this time. I can't sit still anyways." Balaam was restless.

Everyone agreed and they head back to the school as Balaam was way to hyper and restless.

"Balaam are you alright?" Kirell asked.

"He's getting nervous because it's getting close to the end. Panick is trying to take over him." Ron explains.

"I really don't need to explain anything with you around huh?" Balaam smiled bitterly.

"We got this. Three days left Balaam. We got time!" Kirell assures him.

"Thanks. I needed to hear that." Balaam relaxed a bit.

"Hey guys!" Hilde shouted and they head over to her to the puppet room, "I remember this room now! This is were me and my friend hang out. I think I made these." Hilde tells them.

"So you are friend." Balaam nodded.

Hilde looked at Kirell and Balaam and nodded crying, "Yeah. And we're still friends now. I'm so happy." She smiled.

Kirell hugged Hilde and Balaam joined in making Hilde turn red. Argo enters the bedroom that he had saved everyone.

"Balaam." He called out.

Balaam and them head over to Argo, "This is the room you said I shot you in right?" Argo asked.

"Yeah remembering something?!?" Balaam asked.

"I think so. You and Kirell wanted to leave. I think. I had come in here to talk about that." Argo winced.

"I don't think we meant leave life itself but than again... Errr..." Balaam frowned, "Kirell was hurt badly at one point. That room with the puppets. I wanted to kill myself than enter that room. Something really bad happened. I don't know what." Balaam awnsered.

"Do you think it's cause I died in the wreck? Maybe that's why you don't like going in there it brings you too much pain from losing you're friend." Hilde suggested.

"Oh that might be it. It feels right!" Balaam nodded.

"So we lost our friend and got super depressed and Argo to shot us? Did we ask him to do it?" Kirell asked.

"No. I wouldn't feel so angry and I wouldn't of been so shocked when he pointed the gun at me and I wouldn't of shot back." Balaam explains.

"Right. I feel as if it was a painful choice for me as well and not something I wanted to do." Argo explains.

"Maybe boss forced you to do it." Balaam awnsered.

"No I think I killed you both of my free will." Argo sighed.

"Do you remember why?" Kirell asked.

Argo thinks about it, "I think it's because you couldn't leave you're emotions behind. You started to kill out of justice, but that's wrong. Murder is just murder. And you couldn't accept that and it broke you." Argo sighed.

"Probably didn't help that our besty died. So let my guess we were self hurting ourselves or even putting ourselves in unnecessary danger." Balaam sighed.

"I think so..." Argo nodded, "Seeing that... I wanted to put you out of misery and stop you're suffering..." Argo tells them.

"I see." Kirell looked sad.

"But that doesn't explain my anger. There's more to it." Balaam explains.

"Yes. Because you were looking for a way out trying to find a new way of living. And I on my hastily conclusions ended that before you could achieve it." Argo felt horrible.

Balaam thinks about it, "You were like a dad to us. A dad I wanted to be my real dad." Balaam started to cry, "You lost faith in me. And it hurts." Balaam nodded.

Argo starts crying, "I'm so sorry. But I will make things up to you both now. I've decided. I want to fail my task. I want you both to live." Argo explains.

"Don't be stupid." Balaam flicked Argo's head, "Moron! You're just making another mistake. We can go back together. And frankly... I'm sure Kirell would like her dad back when she gets back. And me... well... I don't know... No I do know I just..." Balaam sighed and took a deep breath, "I'd like you to be my dad again too. I really fucking would just don't screw up again." Balaam tells him.

Argo smiled nodding, "Well... I don't think there's much a reason to stay here... Other than to watch over everyone. We know what we need to do." Argo smiled.

"Than let's make this the last day. A little farewell party to both of us." Balaam smiled.

"So you're both going to get resurrected?!?" Kirell asked.

"Yes. I'm going to finish my task and make sure Balaam also finishes his so don't worry." Argo nodded.

"Let's head back than." Balaam smiled.

They head back to the church and decided to have a little farewell party for Argo and Balaam.

Kirell pulls Balaam to the side and gives him a hug still embarrassed about doing this in front of everyone, "I'm going to miss you Balaam." She tells him.

"Yeah me too." Balaam smiled, "Imma do something that's going to get me punched." Balaam kisses Kirell who turns blood red, "Okay you can punch me now." Balaam laughed.

Kirell blushed and kisses Balaam back who holds her in surprise, "I'm not going to do that silly." Kirell smiled.

"Heh. Alright that's you're choice." He felt so happy as he held her in a hug, "Even if we don't become lovers. I'll still protect you forever." Balaam swore.

"Yeah. Lovers is a bit too weird considering you are me." Kirell admitted.

"Haha. Yeah." Balaam blushed.
