Pacifica walked down the hallway, still quivering slightly from the shock of the events that had just unfolded. She made her way through the dark halls of the shack back toward the main party room. The amount of people seemed to have increased drastically from when she arrived. Now this was Stan's party. Pacifica walked around the dance floor, taking everything in. She walked by the benches, then the DJ (which was empty because Soos was occupied elsewhere), the snack table, and the stage. Pacifica looked at the stage, and shivered from the reminder it gave her. Of the way she acted last time. The only two things that were available to do were either singing or dancing. Pacifica wanted to dance with Dipper, but he was nowhere in sight, besides she wasn't sure if she'd worked up the nerve to ask him yet. She walked to the snack table, grabbed a cup, scooped up some fruit punch and began to sip. where was he.

"I'm glad you could make it" a familiar voice said on her right. She looked over and there he was, Dipper. Shocked, Pacifica spit her drink out all over the table.

"Whoa, sorry" Dipper said concerned, "I didn't mean to scare you."

"No! You didn't scare me" Pacifica lied, two months ago she wouldn't be nervous at all talking to Dipper, but now she was terrified. "I was just surprised, that's all."

Dipper gestured toward the mess on the table "Here, i'll help you clean this up."

While wiping the table off Dipper decided to strike up a conversation, "so, how is your family doing?"

Pacifica looked at him confused, was Dipper actually talking to her? "Well" Pacifica began "as you may have heard, my father invested a lot of money in weirdness bonds during the apocalypse, and that forced him to sell our mansion."

Dipper looked up "we call it weirdmageddon."

"right" Pacifica responded, Dipper nodded for her to continue. "We had to get a house in town, but we still have quite a bit of cash, we can still afford butlers, personal drivers, and maids."

Dipper chuckled, "how was it adjusting to living in a normal home?"

Pacifica hesitated, then continued "oh it was easy, I barely even noticed the change." This wasn't true, she actually spent the first week at the house in her room bawling her eyes out.

There was then a small moment of silence. This was it, the mood was right, Pacifica felt confident, she could do this. "Hey Dipper, there is something I want to tell you-" Pacifica was interrupted when a squirrel pranced past her all the way out the side door. Following close behind was Mabel with a fishing net "Run while you can you dumb squirrel, the only thing that is allowed to eat that many chips around here is Soos!"

Mabel stood at the door panting loudly for a second before skipping over to her brother at the snack table "oh, man! That was crazy!"

"Yep, but you did it sis!" Dipper replied. He and Mabel high fived, then she wandered off. "So, you were saying?"

"Um well I-"

"Dipper, Mabel!" Stan screamed, "you guys said you were going to pack up your room yesterday, and you still haven't done it! Your bus leaves tomorrow you know."

Dipper flinched, he and Mabel locked eyes immediately, both of them shared the same worried expression.

Dipper looked at Pacifica "uh, hold that thought, ill be right back!" Dipper joined Mabel, and together they ran toward their room. Pacifica couldn't believe it, the one time she felt confident, she's interrupted, twice! She was too stressed out to get angry about it now. Pacifica decided to go outside and take a quick breather, she would try again when Dipper came back.

Dipper and Mabel took the stairs two at a time. They sprinted across the hallway, entered their room and closed the door. The twins then paused for a moment to catch their breath.

Dipper looked around the room, "all man, we need to get our stuff together quickly before Grunkle Stan gets really mad at us!"

"Dipper, the real reason we need to get our stuff together quickly is because if we don't, we will miss the greatest party of all time!"

They both worked frantically for the next 10 minutes, cleaning up trash, packing up crafts, making beds, everything. While cleaning, Mabel realized something odd. Pacifica and Dipper seemed to be hanging out more than usual lately. Could it be that they were just good friends, or was there a romance afoot? Mabel was very exited at this realization, but frustrated that she couldn't confirm or deny it. She then realized, she was in a room with Dipper right now! She could just take this opportunity to find out! She turned toward Dipper

"So, what were you and Pacifica talking about at the snack table?" Dipper looked up at her

"just the usual, our respective lives and stuff." Mabel raised her eyebrows,

"allow me to put on my skepticles" Mabel put her hands on her eyes as if they were goggles.

"seriously Mabel, please stop with the skepticles thing, what do you actually want to know?" Dipper said, annoyed.

Mabel put her hands down "I was just curious if you guys were talking about perhaps, anything having to do with, love?"

Dipper's eyes widened "you think that i'm, with Pacifica?" "No." Dipper said stepping back "we aren't together."

Mabel sighed "I'm not asking you if you guys are together, i'm just asking if you like her."

"if I did like her, I wouldn't talk to her about it" Dipper said going back to cleaning.

Mabel pushed further, "that's exactly what you want me to think, Dipper love is nothing to be ashamed of."

"Stop it Mabel."

"You and Pacifica would look perfect together, you are both the same age, you have similar personality's."

"I said stop it!"

"And don't think I didn't see your interactions with each other at the Northwest Mansion!"

"Shut up Mabel!"

Mabel stepped back. Her brother almost never told her to shut up, this must be serious. That was all the information Mabel needed, she concluded that Dipper and Pacifica must be madly in love with each other.

Now that Dipper and Pacifica's relationship status was cleared up, Mabel started thinking about Pacifica and her's, she still felt hostility from Pacifica and didn't want it to be that way. The day they played mini-golf didn't feel like enough redemption. Then it clicked, she knew exactly how to mend her friendship with Pacifica, and she would put it into action as soon as she got downstairs. Without another word Mabel and Dipper finished cleaning and packing their bags. Dipper went downstairs, but Mabel hung around for a little while longer, looking around, remembering. She still couldn't believe that they were leaving Gravity Falls tomorrow. The summer had gone by so quickly that it felt like a blur. Mabel could feel a lump growing in her throat.

"Oink!" she looked down, Waddles was on the ground, chewing on her shoe. She couldn't help it, she laughed "oh Waddles, you always know how to make me feel better." She picked him up and nuzzled her nose against his. Mabel took one more look around the room, turned off the light, and left.

Pacifica sat quietly feeling the soft night breeze on her face. The party was continuing to rage on inside. She wanted to join in, but she couldn't stop thinking about Dipper. Why, why couldn't she stop thinking about Dipper. It was just another dumb crush on just another dumb boy, or was it? Pacifica buried her face in her hands. Her emotions were too strong, she couldn't handle it. She started to cry. Why couldn't she tell Dipper about her feelings, she didn't have enough courage. Pacifica didn't know if she could do it even if she did have enough courage. She pulled her head out of her hands and looked around, tears streaming down her face. If only she were smarter, if only she had more courage, if only she could duplicate herself. Pacifica stopped crying. The copier machine, it was pretty big, she probably could fit her whole body on it. Pacifica was hesitant at first, the last time she used the machine it had tried to kill her, but if she was thinking this through right, she could make an exact replica of herself that had her same thoughts, opinions, and emotions. Then she could have herself help her get Dipper to date her. It was risky, but Pacifica was desperate. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her to the copier room. She opened it up, got on, and pressed some buttons on the control panel. She then waited for it to boot up and scan her. Once she was scanned, a piece paper slid out, on it was a full sized picture of Pacifica. After a few seconds the paper started to wobble and wrinkle. Pacifica watched as her clone separated itself from the piece of paper and stood up so they were eye to eye. "Ok" Pacifica thought to herself "here we go."
